Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on internshown in your morning show. You're
dating somebody, could be a one date, could be several.
You think there's a connection that maybe they could be
the one. Then they disappear. We try to figure out
exactly what's going on. Jacob, Good morning, Hey morning. So
let's hoping you and Annie met in the wild where at?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah we did.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
We met at a Halloween party that my buddies kind
of forced me to go to against my will.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
I didn't even have a costume, so I.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Just kind of went as like a nerdy librarian and
put on some blasted.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Very nice, very nice.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Okay, I show up at this party and I didn't
expect to meet anyone, but then I met Annie. She's
dressed up as this cute old grandma. It was so funny,
and I don't know, we just really hit it off.
We started talking. We kind of hung out with each
other the whole night in this party, drinking and chatting.
We decided to go out. Okay, so we like went
(00:58):
out for dinner and drinks twice, and then we went
out to a comedy thing.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Nice. So we've been out three times now.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Everything has been awesome, Like I've been a perfect gentleman.
We've been in communication and texting, but after the third date,
she just disappeared.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
I don't know. I hope she's okay.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
It's kind of where my head is at because everything
was so cool and now she's just gone.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Was the Halloween party like at a bar? Or is
it a friend's party?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It was a friend's party, like a friend of a
friend house.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, And so did anybody there do they give her
the seal approval of like oh yeah, she's a dub
checked to now, or like hey stay away from the
old lady.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
No, nobody gave me any warnings or red flags or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
One of my buddies said, wow, I didn't expect you
to meet anyone. So I don't know. It was a
good vibe. I didn't have anything.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
Weird, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
And so three dates since Halloween, it's basically a date
a week and then you had plans for the fourth
day for ice skating.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Right, Yeah, that's what I mentioned ice skating.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, and since then it was she never said yes
to that. It's like that's when she was adducted by
aliens and disappeared.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
I hope not. I want her to stay on this
planet because I want to see her again.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, but okay, and then as far as the dates himself,
because I think this is important. Just reading your email,
you mentioned that you offered to drive the first date.
She said you'd rather meet you there just because of
say any things, So that's good. Did you the other dates?
Did you drive her? I drove, she wrote, shotgun. I
drove you know the speed limit. I didn't make her
nervous or anything like that. I tried to be a
(02:32):
perfect by the textbook, and we do mean to laugh.
But everybody hilarious she sit in the vackseat, that would
be hilarious.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
Yeah, you her. Okay, So it's been about a week since.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
I've heard anything, right, Yeah, it's been six days.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Okay, and you have any your friends say anything, Oh
that's you know, that's just who she is or anything that.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
No nobody, uh like, nobody knows her that well. I
guess she was a friend of a friend.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
So okay, let's call it trying to get a wrond
because to me, it sounds like you've done U fantastic
job here.
Speaker 6 (03:04):
And that's an adorable Halloween.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Yeah, she's living our lives, are living our dreams. Hate
that for us. Hello, Hi, calling for Annie. Please, this
is the girl.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
It's intern John. I got Sauce and Rose here as well.
We talked to you on the show real quick about
something nothing bad. It's give me like thirty seconds.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
You're done. Yeah, it's perfect, No, yes, it's fine. I
promise it's good.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
So I got some other line here, Jacob, if you
want to say hello, Hey, nailed it, and.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
So Annie Jacob reached out to us. He told us, you.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Guys, I met a Halloween Uh that you the old
lady and the librarian costumes adorable. The you guys hit off.
Been go on like three dates or so the last
couple of weeks. We're playing at fourth date. But he
is not her from you, so uh, number anyway, make
sure you're okay. Number two, just kind of see where
your heads at and why the sudden change.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
Hey, Okay, this is really weird. I mean he's I don't.
I mean it's weird because he's here, but I mean
he's too nice. You're too nice, man, You're too nice?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
What do you mean?
Speaker 7 (04:15):
I mean, I your gentlemen act and planning things, and
you listen to me like if I say, oh my gosh,
I've always wanted to go ice skating, and then you
trying to plan an ice skating date, and it's like,
after we've gone out, you text me to make sure
I'm okay and just to tell you what to tell
(04:38):
me what a nice.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Night you have.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
You look, I don't mean I judge you.
Speaker 8 (04:46):
How would you prefer he have acted supposed the bully you?
Speaker 7 (04:51):
Well, it's just kind of, you know, put a little
bit more mystery and intrigue into him, like, you know,
make me wonder, like are you dating at the.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Girls so you can I ask Andy, how long have
you been single for? Because most of us in the
single field would rather have clarity than not know what's
going on.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Well, I'm just, you know, I put myself out there
and I date. I haven't had a long term relationship
probably since high school, you know. I just it's like, Okay,
you're you're just you're you're such a good guy.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
I don't mean to overgeneralize, but almost sounds like if
he was acting more toxic in leaving you in the
dark and making it seem like you weren't a priority,
getting that would give you that make it more attractive.
I understand that, right, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:44):
It's like, oh yeah, don't don't you want to like
to have that little fun cat and mouse sitting like
where I wonder what's going on with you and you
wonder what's going on.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Okay, if you want to live dangerously, like we can
go out again and I'll get a speeding ticket or something.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I'm gonna put you ayshold Are you a team Jacob
or team Annie? Eight seven seven nine ninety five four
six s eight one to call nine ninety three three
eighth to text it's second date updates on intern John
your Morning Show. Second Date update interns John in your
Morning Show. We has talked to Jacob and Annie. They
met at friends Halloween party, hit off right away, been
on about three dates.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
He had not heard from her. Thought the vibe was good.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
She essentially said that he was a little bit too excited,
a little bit too nice, little bit too communitive. I
guess so that's like a fair point your thoughts eight
seven seven nine ninety five four six eight one to
call nine ninety three three eighth, texts, well, I get
you to hold sauce.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
What do you think him?
Speaker 6 (06:42):
I think she needs to work on herself before she
even gets to the whole dating field aspect of it,
because we've we talk all the time about how dating
right now is not great.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
But like, girl, that's you are toxic.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
You want toxic behavior, but you also are like go
learn some I don't know it sounds she's very insecure
and she also wants something. It's like, wild, why would
you want that? That's not healthy at all? So just go,
you know, maybe try therapy, work on yourself, touch some grass,
don't waste people's time, like like Jacob seems lovely and
(07:16):
just that's like you're messing with other people, Like you're
putting your poison out there when there's already enough out there.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Like stop, it's a good point, Like why would you
want the stress of not knowing as opposed to a
guy who's actually communicated literally he's.
Speaker 6 (07:27):
Doing all the things. And this is why people like
and every single person, like every team when it comes
to dating, gets like a bad rep for some reason.
And it's like women's expectations are too high that so
he came out a few days ago that you know,
da da da, But this is wild to me. You
just want someone that treats you poorly. Yeah, And like
I'm sure there's a Facebook group for that, babe. Yes,
(07:49):
get get off the app, like, leave people alone, Like
that's not nice. She needs to grow up.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Let me go on fair facts, Elena, good morning, doing well?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Who sat you out with it?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Definitely Jacobs, and I want to set him up with
my coworker.
Speaker 9 (08:04):
Who needs a nice boy?
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Okay, tell us about your coworker, Eleena. What's she like?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
She's pretty, she's really fun and she's really funny. She's
just one of those very cute, like just kind of
bubbly personality, and she's adorable, and she needs to get
over somebody else with like a nice boy that actually
like treats her nicely.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Which Jacob would yes, which I think that she.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Would murder me if she knew that I was getting
on the radio and saying this.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Yeah, like, and what's her name, Desuo?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Her name is Elizabeth?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Elizabeth, where's she teach? Okay, don't do that. I went
out right too much. No, No, that's very Elena.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
I'm gonna put you home. We're get your coffee for
being such a good wing man. Okay, thank you friend, Otho.
One second, what was your thoughts with us?
Speaker 8 (08:50):
It sounds to me, like, Annie is not ready for any.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
Kind of serious relationship.
Speaker 8 (08:55):
Yeah, because look, when I was in my younger twenties,
I dated a guy and my excuse for one of
the reasons I broke up with him was he was
too nice, he was too much.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
It was I was not ready for that kind of
person in.
Speaker 8 (09:07):
My life, I guess, so I could understand that aspect,
but the fact that she like actually wants the toxic
behaviors instead is where I draw the line, Like that
is way too much. Yeah, I'm I'm on his side
with this one, but I do understand the sentiment of
he's too nice because you might not be in that
place ready for that.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Sure.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I had an ex tell me once that I'm the
guy that girls want to marry and not date. I'm like, well,
that's a big problem, isn't it. Because you need one
of those you get the other part. So there's that.
Let me go in Gainesville, Sarah, good.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Morning, Good morning.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
How are you jo? Well, what do you want to
say with Seconday update?
Speaker 9 (09:41):
I think this is the best thing Jacob has ever done,
calling into.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
The show because he's going to get so.
Speaker 9 (09:47):
Many women who want to go on dates with him.
He sounds like a dream guy, like you should live
leave Anny alone, forget about hers are going to be
rolling in. I mean, I'm married. Can I get his
number for a day?
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Let me ask you so terrific.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Let's let's say that Annie was your friend and she
reached out to complain abou him being so nice. What
would you say to your friend?
Speaker 9 (10:09):
I would say, you've been out of the game for
a long time, and I know that this is a
new thing for you, but maybe this is a good
starter boyfriend. You know. I would also probably say, maybe
go to therapy. How does your dad treat you? What's
going on there?
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (10:24):
You know, I'm trying. I'm trying. That's a judge, not everyone,
you know, I'm jas as much as Sausa John.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
But like you know, fair's work for your issues. Yeah, definitely, Sarah,
thank you for listening. You have a great day, my man.
Ma'am Maine. Let me go in dun doll Caitlin, good morning,
Good morning guys.
Speaker 9 (10:44):
How are you well?
Speaker 5 (10:45):
What do you want to say with us?
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Uh?
Speaker 10 (10:48):
First of all, I think that Jacob needs to hold
like a boyfriend seminar on how to.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Be a good boyfriend. Yeah, yeah, because.
Speaker 10 (10:57):
Like I don't understand where where she's Oh, and it's
wild to me, like when I tell you my jaw
was on the floor when she was like, you're too nice,
Like I wish I had that problem.
Speaker 6 (11:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, it's kind of Caitlyn, like dating is so bad
that nobody really knows where each other stands. So most
people in the dating field would like some clarity. In
this case, she got the clarity. It's like, okay, no,
thank you.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
I'd rather be an I need I need that toxic toxicity.
Speaker 10 (11:25):
Like, of all the problems to have with your guy,
I feel like him being nice is.
Speaker 11 (11:29):
Not a problem.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yeah you would think this is great, Caitlyn. Thank you
for listening. Have a great day.
Speaker 9 (11:35):
Yeah you guy too.
Speaker 5 (11:36):
By going out Baltimore is sick. Good morning, Hey, good morning.
What do you want to say with this girl?
Speaker 6 (11:43):
I just want to say.
Speaker 11 (11:43):
She said that she hasn't been dating since like, well,
she hasn't been in a long term relationship since high school,
and the kind of relationship she wants seems like a
high school relationship where you get your ear broken and
you're like, you know, all like kind of anxious all
the time because you don't know whether the guy like hero,
whether girl like you, but.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
We're grown up now, like.
Speaker 11 (12:05):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like Sauage is right. She needs
to get some bep hoort, analyze why she wants this
toxicity in her life and if she really does, because
that's not like health.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
All that's very said. Thank you for listening, have a
great day, you too.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
By I would also hope for her own sake when
she tells her friends for advice and then she's like, yeah,
is communicating too much? I help her friends like, hey, girl,
like what touch and grass and like reevaluate because this
is what you want to have?
Speaker 5 (12:37):
This is this sounds great.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
