How are you looking forward to this weekend?

Speaker 4 (00:21):
I have zero plans this weekend? I'm I'm nice. Why
did you say you? What?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Like that?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
I'm pumped.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
I've had I've been NonStop for like how long is
probably like a month and a half.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Yeah, the weekend, It's just been a year.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
But so I'm excited just to have a chill weekend.
I'm hopefully I'm gonna finish taking pictures of clothes that
I'm trying to sell them McCary, and I'll get those
all up.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
And just I just want a chill.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
I think I might see Kate, my best friend, tomorrow,
but I have no plans. I'm very happy about it.
How much money you may have, McCary in my life?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah? Do you think you're not close to breaking even? Obviously?

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Like, oh no, but I think I've made like at
least a thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (00:54):
That's very solid.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, it's been over a long time. It's not like
this year, it's we've been over a long time.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Question do you think it's like creepers buying it or
like interested people?

Speaker 7 (01:03):
Again?

Speaker 4 (01:04):
How to listeners?

Speaker 5 (01:05):
See when I've posted on Instagram I'm selling stuff on
like deepop from McCary that they've DMed me and asked
they could buy it so they can have it, And
I was like, I said that I'd send them like
a signed postcard. Okay, I just I don't want someone
having my clothes to it.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I agree with that. What the money was, right though?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, let's just say you had a pair of jeans
that were us to say, fifty dollars and I said,
they offered you one hundred for them?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yes, okay, yes, what was seventy five?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
No, one hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Double?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Like I don't know that's fair.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
I also just like really need money.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
So yeah, at this why, I'm like, maybe I would
do that, but I.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Think double I think is fair. Yeah, I think that
makes sense.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Yes, okay, So very the whole weekend very good.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
What do you do on Sunday?

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Sunday watching the Ravens game?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Probably what time they play it. There's like a nine
thirty in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
No, wait, probably I'll probably just honestly go to broads.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Oh you know what, on Sunday, I'm facetiming Ricky Sunday,
Ricky Sunday morning.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Ricky and I we have a FaceTime date.

Speaker 7 (02:05):
Dude?

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Did I tell you how I told when Maggie came
to we went. We went to Nashville to go see
Ricky and she had never met her before, and I
was like, yeah, her name is actually Ricardo, but we
call her Ricky and so like.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
For a long time.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Finally, like three days later, she's like, so, why did
your parents name you Ricardo?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
And Ricky is like, what it is? I was like, oh,
I totally forgot that.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I was bun because I'm going to Nashville next weekend.
But she's not gonna be there. She got wedding in Jersey.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Well what was I googling when the Raven's life?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Okay, there we go. That's why we can.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Hello.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
We have a birthday party tomorrow, which is gonna be fun.
I'm gonna take Charlie and yeah, no, I think.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
All of us are going actually with what's the theme.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I think Peter Rabbit. I don't know, I don't think.
I don't. I don't know. I remember the invitation had
a rabbit on it.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
I think Peter Rabbit is his like his favorite book, right,
So I think it's Peter Rabbit.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
And yeah, it's at like it's an a little parks orthing.
I don't know where it's gonna be fun. And then
other than that, we have no plans.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
So I told Clint I can't wait to decorate for
Christmas this weekend. He said, oh, and I was like, oh, yeah,
that's that's happened. Get those Christmas decorations down, so I love, Yeah,
that's those are my plans. Also, I have to figure
out there's like I think one of my daughters may
have left a snack somewhere in my oldest room and

(03:36):
there's a there's there's some sort of a scent.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
And I'm like, either there's a diaper in here or
there's an apple left somewhere.

Speaker 7 (03:46):
I think it was probably just like a snack time
that turned into a chaos fun.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
So I'm gonna be deep cleaning.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
They'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I can do thank hoods hi hiy.

Speaker 8 (03:58):
So today after the show, Eric and I are gonna
go Pokemon card hunting. Can't wait to see what Eric
buys me. You know, absolutely as they should. Yeah, and
then tomorrow I am finally collecting on my brunch debt
from Kyle Kromer.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
I'm getting brunch with Kyle.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah. The best weekend. Everybody going.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
We're going to Ambar. I'm excited to go.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah, that would be the sauce move.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
No, I won't, I promise.

Speaker 8 (04:29):
Who are you trying to get a jersey for? You
want talk about our Yeah, so someone in Morris family.
We're trying to get a jersey, a hockey jersey because
we don't know if we should get them in Ovechkin
jersey or a custom jersey that has their last name
on it.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Cool.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
My personal thought is obi's a legend. I think that
makes sense.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah, there's any other team like that's as Sidney Crosby,
that's at a lifetime player, I think jersey.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
Yeah, and we're kind of one two punch in it that.

Speaker 8 (04:53):
Hopefully for Christmas we get them that and then their
birthdays in February we can take them to a game.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
So I think that's good.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Nice, that's some time just handline for adults wearing jerseys
the games like there's any place.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
To wear a jersey.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I think it's so odd.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, that's that's the place to where.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
The jersey is, Like, where where else would you wear.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
It, especially the hockey jersey because there are cold Yeah,
I love it. That's like the vibe. So that's exciting. Wait,
did you in tournament last weekend? I lost again, but
you know I made some friends. I'm a man of
the people there. That tournament now to adults or children
adults because.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
At the tournaments they have there's like a kid league
and the adult league.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Oh I didn't know that.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
Then there's a senior citizen league apparently too. So that's
when Eric said, Yeah, that's very exciting. That Eric as
old as hell. So I'm excited. This weekend hockey starts.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Well, first gamesnight, which fun for fun, it'll be it'll
be something we'll be on the ice for three days,
so we'll see how it goes.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Sounds great.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
And then going to the game tomorrow that would be.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
A lot of fun, lots of hockey, yes, And then
I think Sunday, so at the bar we're doing like
a brunch bfe for the Commanders games.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
So that's gonna be that's a nine thirty. That's gonna
be a long.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
Time because, like is the Ravens on't place on four
twenty five. I'm like, how am I gonna make it
to work Monday? You know?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
In a car?

Speaker 5 (06:13):
No, I'm saying, like how I do that? I don't
like Sunday Funday that much?

Speaker 7 (06:18):
I mean, I know, I knew you don't have to
at least it's not like the late night game.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah, it's like I'm going to.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Go start, you know, nine thirty commander ing.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Who asked you do that?

Speaker 4 (06:33):

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I have friends, John, You didn't to say that.

Speaker 3 (06:36):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
