Show after the show today. Appreciate you being here with us.
No no, no theme.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Music this morning, because we got a computer that's not working.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
But you're lucky that we're here. And big breaking news
we just heard it moments ago. The jury hung in
the trial of Officer Christopher Sure, the former GRPD officer
here in Grand Rapids. A hung jury, unable to reach
a verdict. And what does that mean. The judge declares
a mistrial. Here's what that means. It means the case
(01:35):
can be tried again. And I got to tell you,
as hot as a prosecutor Chris Becker was during this trial,
I think it'd be a big mistake. But I I
think I think you're going to see You're going to
see him announce that. So you know, we just heard
(02:01):
Andrew Brian could talk about that. So we continue to
pray for Christopher Sure. We pretenue to pray for his family,
obviously the family of Patrick Ley as well, but also
all of the police out on the streets today. We
did this is this is a this is a situation
where I can't believe they actually had a hung joy.
Somebody said that in the comments of one of these
folks that was talking about that earlier. You want to
(02:23):
hear what tvate's expert is saying, let's take.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
A listen procedure and how training plays into this situation.
That was discussed a lot, as well as the use
of a taser and considering that as a weapon.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yes, absolutely, because because again you know that that narrative
of someone being killed over a traffic stop. You really
needed to I think defense needed to go to great
length to explain why that was an acceptable outcome within
this officer's training. So we saw the prosecutor.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
I can't I can't do that. I don't know what
that is. First of all, the audio is horrible.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
You're talking about killing somebody over a traffic stop. That's
a BLM narrative. I don't even know the prosecution and
maybe they had that. They absolutely ridiculous. And you're not
killed over a traffic stop. What happens is that you
play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. And I hate
to say that, it's just the way it is. And
I hate to see anybody lose their life. But you
don't fight a police officer, you don't grab their weapon.
(03:31):
What you suffer the consequences, and that's what we're seeing. Unfortunately,
the consequence is now of this political environment. Looks like
these officers are are going to have to deal with
it as well. Hey, what what is happening on Facebook?
Are you guys having a hard time hearing us this morning?
It looks like there may be some issues with the

don't know. I don't know what what the reason is.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Okay, so what do we have?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
No black smart smoke a l coming out of the
Vatican just yet from the Pope. We did get a
verdict and well not really a vert a hung jury
which resulted in a mistrial, which you've heard this morning
as well. And we've got the first big, beautiful trade deal.
This is the first amity and I've already seen people
pooh pooing them, but it it proves that trunks, tariffs work.
(07:05):
They still they work. It's fantastic. The White House announcing
a news conference today. In fact, it might be going
on as we speak. Although sometimes it it takes a
little bit, you know, Yeah, it takes a little bit
(07:27):
to get some out, some of the news out of
the air.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
People. I don't want to see if I can get this.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
No that they have now, there's still there's nothing from
inside the White Houses yet. They're awaiting the major announcement
over on right side broadcasting. When that happens, We'll make
sure that we keep you, keep you up to date
with it. No new smoke out of out of the
(07:52):
Vatican either. But again, this proves that the tariffs work.
Their tariffs were designed to get people back to the
bargaining table and get a deal done.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
That's what he wants to do. The guy wrote the
art of the deal.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
And anybody who doesn't think about that, doesn't consider that,
doesn't talk about that in this conversation, just is not serious.
Just not serious. Hey, A big announcement made yesterday, and
in fact you're speaking of serious. This was a big one.
Justice Department announcing the result of Operation Restore Justice two
hundred and five offenders arrested, two hundred and five. That
(08:28):
announcement made by Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, also with
her FBI director Cash Pattal two hundred and five. Cash
talking about that now, by the way, I just I
loved hearing incentives so horrific things that are happening behind
the scenes. But I love that we're getting some movement
(08:49):
in some of this stuff, and you ought to.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Love that too.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
There was also some interesting it is an interesting statement
at least by Attorney General Bondi in that moment where
she was asked about the Epstein what's the deal on
the Epstein files?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Where are they?
Speaker 1 (09:08):
What she said is is really kind of jaw dropping.
And I don't look, I'm not trying to be clickbaity
or you know, but hyperbolic at all, but it really
was what she had to say.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
I thought was interesting.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
The videos they have, what's on them and how they're
going through them right now is just mind bogged.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
We'll get into that, but first.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Cash, children, if you harm our children, you will be
given no sanctuary. There is no place we will not
come to hunt you down. There is no place we
will not look for you, and there is no cage
we will not put you in. Should you do harm
to our children. The prioritization of this administration in general,
BONDI has made it abundantly clear to child predators, you
(09:54):
will be hunted down and you will be prosecuted. And
that is a refreshing thing to here for the men
and women who do this work tirelessly, and it's also
an acknowledgment of the safety that we look forward to
bringing America.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Two hundred and five offenders arrested and the FBI led
nationwide crackdown, including eight in the northern the Northern District
of New York. More on that obviously forthcoming. But she
was asked about it yesterday. From that, we may have
even played this. We may have even played this video
yesterday at some point. Pambody, the Attorney General, asked about
(10:28):
it yesterday. Here's her response when it comes to what's
happening with the Epstein files.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Take a listen to this. Oh, this is incredible.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yesterday and all the Epstein files.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
From No, No, the FBI. Yeah, the FBI, they're reviewing.
There are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with
children or child porn.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Tens of thousands of videos with Epstein with children or
child porn. The the FBI's reviewing this, and.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
There are hundreds of victims, and no one victim will
ever get released. It's just the volume, and that's what
they're going through right now. The FBI is diligently going
through that. I haven't seen that statement, but I'll call
him later and find out.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
That actually was said on the Bennie Johnson Show of
beIN a Show yesterday. I think we had some of
the clips of that. But again, a big and notable
that announcement that there are tens of thousands of videos.
More big news yesterday about the surgeon General the nomination
of the individual that had real questions. People were asking
(11:44):
about this and I can't believe this person was a vexer?
How did you get into the spot? That position has
been replaced and a new nomination has been made. Trump
tapping Maha favorite doctor Casey means to replace surgeon general nominee. Uh,
doctor Jeannette Nishchwatz.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Wats is what? I don't know? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Me and Stanford educated doctor co author the book on
met About a Health with their brother Keli. They become
a fierce ally in public facing spokespeople for the Robert F.
Kennedy junior Make American Healthy Again movement.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
MAHA.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Casey has impeccable MAHA credentials. President Trump announcing that on
True Social the other day that he was going to
make that swamp and the nomination set to go in
front of the Senate at some point it is.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
It is big news.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
By the way, who is Casey means you're wondering if
you're not one of the crunchy MOHA moms, listen to this.
This is testimony in front of the House.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
You would think that the American healthcare system and our
government agencies would be clamoring to fix metabolic health and
reduce American stuff and costs. But they're not. They are
deafeningly silent about metabolic dysfunction and its known causes. It's
not an over statement to say that I learned virtually
(13:15):
nothing at Stanford Medical School about the tens of thousands
of scientific papers that elucidate these root causes of why
American health is plummeting and how environmental factors are causing it.
For instance, in medical school, I did not learn that
for each additional serving of ultraprocessed food we eat, early
mortality increases by eighteen percent. This now makes up sixty
(13:39):
to seven percent of the foods our kids are eating.
I took zero nutrition courses in medical school. I didn't
learn that eighty two percent of independently funded studies show
harm from processed food, while ninety three percent of industry
sponsored studies reflect no harm. In medical school, I didn't
(13:59):
learn that ninety five percent of the people who created
the recent USDDA Food guidelines for America had significant complicts
of interest with the food industry. I did not learn
that one billion pounds of synthetic pesticides are being sprayed
on our food every single year. Ninety nine percent of
the farmland in the United States is sprayed with synthetic pesticides,
(14:21):
many from China and Germany, and these invisible, tasteless chemicals
are strongly linked to autism, ADHD, sex hormone disruption, thiray disease,
sperm dysfunction, Alzheimer's dementia, birth effects, cancer OBC. That is
the to function, deliver, dysfunction, female and fertility and more.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
All that is your next By the way, there's more
and more and more of this, but that is your
next Surgeon General. She's on the make America healthy again.
Pat not like some big jabber the other I don't
even know how she made.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
It in as a as a nominee, but that is
that wasn't popular.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
And I think President Trump hearing that at a one
o'clock backlash.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
But I will say a feedback.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I'll only say that feedback and moving forward on it. Okay, folks,
you got to hear that. This is a fantastic back
and forth. One that's going to make you chuckle. It'll
make you smile today. This is this is Bernie Sanders
being asked about why at the same time he's running
around talking about.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Texting all the rich and the oligoks.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
And the guy is riding around on a private jet
to do it. Take a what he said.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
You know, Alyssa Slockin senator from Michigan, she said, you
shouldn't be using an oligarchy. It's over people's head. You've
gotten criticized from other people. Free Weeacon says Bernie Sanders
spent two hundred twenty one thousand on private jets fighting
the oligarchy tour paid for by friends of Bernie Sanders.
That you've spent millions of dollars in campaign funds on
private jet travel over the year. How do you push
(16:02):
back on both of those things?
Speaker 9 (16:03):
The last time you saw Donald Trump during a campaign
mode at National Airport?
Speaker 8 (16:08):
No, no, no, it doesn't. But he's also not fighting the oligarchy.
Speaker 9 (16:12):
No, and you run a campaign and you do three
or four or five rallies in a week.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Not only is he not fighting the oligarchy print, but
also he doesn't believe in this glean green pipe dream,
wind solar and unicorn farts scam either.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
I mean, it's a big difference, and Bernie does.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
He's not only fighting the oligarchy, but he's you know,
it's trying to lower his carbon footprint.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
And everything else. So, I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
If you believe that the earth was gonna you know,
the seawaters are going to rise and everything on't you
do everything in your power not to contribute to that.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yet they don't.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
How dare you?
Speaker 1 (16:51):
That's for you to do, that's for the little people.
That's again, that's it's not for them to do. Here's
Brett again, how do you.
Speaker 8 (16:59):
Push back on to those things?
Speaker 9 (17:00):
The last time you saw Donald Trump during a campaign
mode at National Airport?
Speaker 8 (17:06):
No, no, no, it doesn't. But he's also not fighting
the aligarchy.
Speaker 9 (17:09):
No, and you run a campaign and you do three
or four or five rallies in a week. The only
way you can get around to book the thirty thousand people.
I think I'm going to be sitting on a waiting
line at United.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
You know what, the regular people. I'm not sitting on
a waiting line with United. With the regular people. That's
not happening.
Speaker 9 (17:26):
Look this waiting you know what, thirty thousand people are waiting.
That's the only way you can get around. No apologies
for that. That's what a campaign travel is about. We've
done it in the past.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
So he admits that they're on a campaign. This is
campaign travel. This is a campaign.
Speaker 8 (17:39):
You're gonna do it in the future, you know. Alyssa Slockins.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
So, by the way, get called out by their own
Democrat party, uh slocking as a senator there. Absolutely fantastic,
Absolutely fantastic.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
I gotta love it. Gives me a chuckle.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
