Michigan Joining the conversation now at six one six seven

seven seven four twenty four twenty four, it's West Michigan
Live with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Wow. All we again. All is smokes literally smoke fire
from Canada bringing the wildfire smoke here in the Michigan,
clouding the skies, and then the skies clouded with smoke
out in LA for the riots taking place over Ice
(00:42):
Another federal authorities being attacked as they're trying to up
hold lawn order out there, and we got the full
story for all of it. Glad you're here with us today.
But first, before we get into more Big Three, let's
do this.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Please rise if you father.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Time for the Big Three. The story is you won't
hear anywhere else. The stories had better most these are
those stories good friends at Heartlett Homeworkings, Dave got Away
and the team standing by ready to help you whether
you need to buy Red Home Neck withdy line of credits.
Dave is ready and willing and the team faster, better
(02:50):
than the Big Banks. I'm telling we used him every
time that we've worked with him, and they got a
level too. We say thousands each and every time. Reach
out today at h h M Lindy dot com. Smoke
filling there here and they're Canadian wildfire smoke here in
West Michigan and out in la Well, it's a different
(03:15):
story altogether, isn't it. Just a horrific amount of smoke
in the air, and the videos coming back are are incredible, folks.
And of course all of this started because the President
trying to do as he said, bring in some of
these these issues with these folks. Deportations underway, some of
(03:41):
these folks just being arrested because they're a criminals, want
of them murder a gang member in fact, out in
la Ice, not allowed to drop in and do what
they were going to do because they were pelted by
rocks at one point, and even worse, the videos the
videos coming back now National Guard's been called in and
(04:01):
Marines on standby. Secretary he Hed Seth going back and
forth in some tweets online apparently on X with Kevin Newsom,
who it's it's wild to watch this, but is calling
this whole thing. I don't know if you've seen some
of this, calling this whole thing basically, Oh, there's nothing
(04:23):
to see here. It's it's being managed, it's under control.
I've just I've never seen anything like this. It's almost
like the Office of the uh what was it misinformation
or whatever that the bag dam bob was rolling out.
It's we're gonna dig into this a big time this morning,
(04:44):
so stay with us before that. On the way, we're
gonna get to some more of these because brink this
stuff down better. On ABC News, correspondent Terry Morana with
the weekend suspended by the network after a late night
expost now deleted, calling President Trump and Deputy Chief of
Staff Steven Miller world of class haters. What this is
(05:08):
a journalist by the way, But finally all of them
get to the point where they can't hide anymore and
they have to show you exactly who they are. And
that's that's what they're doing. Now, there's this whole pushback
and where the guys should have been so spending it
or not, Carod, I'd love it calling for accountability As
(05:31):
a press secretary, I think you're allowed to do this
by the way is to say, somebody's supposed to act
like they're fair and balanced and unbiased, and yet they're not.
We have a right to call for accountability. I can't
tell you what print in your papers and whatnot. That's
when you maybe draw the line. But same time, it's
(05:54):
a while to watch. Hey, two killed in Las Vegas.
Speaking of hard to watch, the deadly shooting captured on
video live streamers. Police believe the attacks him from a
prior social media dispute between the shooter and the victim's
suspect has been identified a manhunt continuum. Livestream footage captured
panicking tourists dropping to the ground as the shots rang out.
(06:20):
And that is are Big three, just some of the
stories that you want to hear today, and of course
around the water cool kittle now no matter where you are.
We'll get to the the rest remaining in just moments.
But first I give you a chance to weigh in.
If you like, I love to hear from you. Jump
(06:41):
on the phone the iHeartRadio app. You can click that
little talkback feature microphone next to a play button the
sound off Thanks to the folks at MK the funeral hunk.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Called justin Now at six one six seven seven four
twenty four twenty four at six one six seven seven
four twenty four to twenty four West Michigan Live with
Justin Barclay on News Radio WOULD thirteen hundred and one
oh six nine a f M.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
All right, all right, settle down. I promised I would,
So let's do it. I give you some of the videos,
some of the images. If you're watching, Today's a day
to watch them. Behind it, Saint Livestream, I tell you
he'll love listen to the radio. But at the same
time be aided by the visuals of the of the
(07:25):
video and the the image is coming out, by the way,
this is this is this stuff right here. This is
not gonna help Gavin Newsome get elected. Here, folks, it's
a picture one of them, a guy standing up and
this is just one of so many as smoke behind
(07:46):
It's almost like it's a movie. I don't know how
to explain it to you how ridiculous this is. But
smoke in the background filling the intersection where a burned
out car sits right behind him. He's holding and waving
a Mexican flag. Now, this whole image probably says it best.
(08:08):
What we're watching what we're facing, what we're really seeing
play out, And I might might just start with this is,
why are people who claiming they love it here and
want to be here and Trump is just a meanie
pants by wanting to get rid of them, send them
back home? Why are they protesting this by waving their
(08:33):
flag in our country? Why are they waving the wrong
flag if they love it here so much? Do you
understand what I'm saying? It makes no sense to me.
You can't make this make sense in fact, that is,
unless you actually apply the proper lens to what we're watching.
(08:56):
These people don't want to go back home because they
didn't come here for the reasons the media is telling you.
They came here. In fact, the people that are pushing
these protests, and there's the whole list of information that's
come out today, and I think it is really really fascinating. Uh,
(09:19):
the organizations that are powering some say, what is happening
out there? And and and by this this none of
this is, none of this is as organic as they
would lead you to believe. But this, this is this
is my question, and I mean, I'd love to have
an answer for somebody if you if you can rack
(09:42):
sort of make it make sense without doing this. But
there's only one way that I can see to to
uh really wrap my head around this, and it's it's
it's summed up in a so on a post comment
one of the the many folks who are engaging on
the page Justin Barker over on Facebook, mister Justin Barclay
(10:02):
over Facebook, Twitter, x ROM we'll get her locals all
those places. Anyway, this person said, he's like I brought
up waving the wrong flag. And I said, well, California
that used to be Mexico. Uh, you know, California used
to be Mexico. Now all that land that's Mexico. And
(10:27):
I did look at the profile in this individual Hispanic
from La which I thought was kind of interesting. I said, hey,
well what was Mexico before that? Before it was Mexico.
What was Mexico? She says, well it was as Tech
And I said, well, yeah, yeah, yeah, but before that,
(10:50):
what was it all you know, Spanish and whatnot? And
I said, yeah, okay, so it was as Tech and
a Spanish. But if you really did any look at
the history, agent did get into the indigenous folks. And
my point is is she tried to say, this was
stolen land. It's stolen land. So just so you understand
(11:11):
the picture that's being painted, folks, these people don't want
to go back to where they came from. They want
to stay on what they're calling stolen land that America
should never You and I we did never have in
the first place. California, I think was eighteen forty eight
is when it actually became American. Now, I don't know
(11:32):
the history of California doesn't really and it doesn't really
matter as much as it does the general overall purpose
of what I'm talking about. We don't have to get
into the weeds of all of this to really to understand.
Is what I'm saying is that there is no such
thing as stolen land. There's only conquered land. And every
piece of land that anyone can sit or walk on
(11:52):
today is conquered land. That's just the way it is.
At one point, the Spanish conquered California, right, and before that,
the as tax and everything that she mentioned, right, these
were indigenous tribes. Each of these tribes conquered each other
at separate and different times. But these people wouldn't know
(12:15):
that because they've been too busy being indoctrinated in the scrules,
as Rush used to call them. That's exactly what they are.
They don't have a real grasp on history. They don't
really know what actually has been going on throughout the years.
They only know what they've been told, which is, you
gotta hate America, and you've gotta hate your parents, and
you gotta hate anything. You're gonna hate the Bible, You're
(12:36):
gonna hate anything that really is the fabric of this
great nation of ours because it's wrong, and it's obviously wrong,
and it's clearly obviously wrong. You are because oppression and whatnot.
That's what they'll tell you. That's what all of this
boils down to U And actually there is some honesty
(13:00):
truth in that. And where it is is that all
of this is sparked what we're watching at least an
attempted color revolution. So it is sparked by the sort
of communist Marxist ideology. Oppression drives everything, and of course, uh,
(13:21):
that's what plays in again again here now, all on
social media, and by the way, I got clip after
clip after clip I'm gonna get to today, but all
on social media to see people talking about this, and
I can't believe Trump's calling out the National Guard. He's
a dictator. I can't believe he would do such a thing.
He has a choice. Now, I know Biden made decisions,
(13:46):
or excuse me, the auto pen made decisions for Biden
or people around him made decisions for him. But the
reason we have an issue here today is that we
have people who are in this country illegal, which is
one thing, that's one thing all together, another issue, but
the issue that exacerbates it makes it worse on top
(14:07):
compounds the whole thing is that these people, the ones
that are being targeted particularly right now, are criminals. Now
I don't mean criminals only this would this would be
criminal enough. But I don't mean criminals only in the
sense that they've broken the laar, that they're here and
they're not legally here, et cetera. But what I mean
(14:30):
is you've got merkyplists and murderers and gang members, and
these are the people specifically targeted in California. Okay, these
are the ones that are the biggest issue. Now, these
are the ones that these people in the streets that
are pelting the cars of ice, the vehicles and some
(14:52):
of the other folks out there, industry, they're pelting them
with rocks, spraying the tear gas and all the that's
who's being attacked, These federal agents. They're being attacked for
trying to lock these gang members up, the average person.
And I've got the proof for this, So stick with me,
because I am I'm gonna blow it. I'm gonna blow
(15:14):
this out the water.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Here.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
There's all these folks that are out there screaming and
carrying on about this. I've got the proof of it.
I'll get to it here in just a moment. But
all these people that are out there screaming and carry
on about this is a very very small, vocal minority.
The squeaky will gets the grease. A lot of them,
useful idiots, probably being propped up and paid in these protests.
(15:39):
So why do I how can you make that case?
Just well, I've got the numbers and I've got the data.
It's not mine, it's theirs. We'll give it to you
coming up here in just a second. But just a reminder,
this isn't the first time the National Guards had to
be called out in LA for riots. In fact, back
in nineteen ninety two during the LA Runs the National
(16:01):
Guard was called out back then too, by then President
George H. W. Bush.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
One is the urgent need to restore order what followed
Wednesday's jury verdict in.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Their I don't know why that sounds like it's like
a robot super slow speed. Let me see if I
can speed it up for you.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Roddy King case was a tragic series of events for
the city of Los Angeles, nearly four thousand fires, staggering
property damage, hundreds of injuries, and the senseless deaths of
over thirty people. To restore order right now, there are
three thousand National Guardsmen on duty in the city of
Los Angeles. Another twenty two hundred span ready to provide
immediate support. To supplement this effort. I've taken several additional actions. First,
(16:49):
this morning, I have ordered the Justice Department to dispatch
one thousand federal riot trained law enforcement officials to help
restore order in Los Angeles beginning tonight. These officials include
FBI SWAT teams, special riot control units of the US
Marshall Service, the Border Patrol, and other federal law enforcement agencies. Second,
another one thousand federal law enforcement officials are on standby
(17:12):
alert should they be needed third early today. I directed
three thousand members of the seventh Infantry and fifteen hundred
Marines to stand by at Altorro Air Station in California
tonight at the request of the Governor and the mayor.
I've committed these troops to help restore order. I'm also
federalizing the National Guard, and I'm instructing General Colin Powell
(17:33):
to place all those troops under a central command.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Nineteen ninety two. So it's useful to have the facts,
particularly when online people without them, without any truth, logic
or common sense, make comments. You just make sure you'll
know coming out why I believe. And this is another
big well. They overplayed their hand again they always do.
(17:56):
This is not gonna be popular. I really I'll tell
you if I'm sorry for today. That's Kevin Moderate. Where's
the Moderate podcast? Caven Newsom with his podcast on the
iHeart Talk Network? Where is that?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Was? O?
Speaker 5 (18:08):
Was that?
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Because? I mean, I'm sorry, but when you're standing up
for folks who are literally burning your city down, trying
to do it for the second time, you're gonna let
them h You don't get to sound moderate anymore. Gav.
That's just not how it works. Back with more after
this and the proof that the people have had enough.
We're getting to it after this hangout.
Speaker 1 (18:27):

Speaker 6 (18:37):
Here your headlines from the Midwestern or This Monday, June nine, Time,
Robin Poffman hits a Midwesterner Dot News original story. Michigan
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson apparently too busy running for
governor to concern herself with efforts to impeach her from office.
Bentson saying she's focused on delivering results to the people
of Michigan and not engaging in political games that are
(19:00):
designed to gain headlines and attention. The Secretary of State
refusing to produce basic training documents to lawmakers. This has
been going on now for months. It's another Midwest original.
The CEO of a Michigan scrap metal company predicts more
jobs and an economic boom from President Trump's steel and
aluminum tariffs. David Rifkin, CEO of Riffkins Scrap Iron and
(19:23):
Metal Company, supports the President's plan.
Speaker 7 (19:26):
Why now I can say that it can't come soon enough, frankly,
and we want to keep bad people out of our country.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
And President Trump's Travel Band to take effect. The executive
order puts full restrictions on twelve countries, including Iran and Afghanistan.
The goal to keep Americans safe.
Speaker 8 (19:43):
In my first term, my powerful travel restrictions were one
of our most successful policies, and they were a key
part of preventing major foreign terror attacks on American soil.
We will not let what happened in Europe happen to America.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
For these stories and more, visit The Midwesterner at the Midwesterner.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Dot new I told you get the numbers to prove it.
All this stuff not going to be very popular, especially
not for a Gavin Newsom that wants to run in
twenty twenty eight. Everything that you're watching behind the scenes
play out and on your screens every day over the
last few days this week, and with the riots in LA,
the American people aren't gonna take it anymore. I'm gonna
(20:23):
tell you why. The proof After this bottle the Hour News,
we're back with more nexts on West mischikin Line. I
got a job on the phone lines here just a moment,
give you a chance to weigh in, and of course
you can at any moment. At six one six seven seven,
twenty four, twenty four. I want to remind you you
can sleep better at night, folks, if you work with
(20:43):
the folks at Talent Wealth, Mike Lester and the team
sixty one six sixty six one one thousand guarding yournest
egg dot com. They want to take a holistic approach
and help you get through the ups and downs of
the market. And of course I'm expecting we'll see a
little bit of that as well as things get shifted
(21:04):
around and figured out some of the China trade talks
and things that they're still continue to work on. But
folks that work with Mike Lester and the team of
Town and Wealth, they sleep all at night because they
don't have to way. They've taken a holistic approach. They're
ready no matter what comes their way, and don't know
whether you want to retire today, tomorrow, ten twenty years
down the road. This is the way to go. Mike
and the team ready to help you and standing by
(21:26):
at guarding your nest egg dot com. Mike in Wyoming
is on the line first up, watching some of the
footage that we just showed, actually showed a few things
behind the scenes off the air here as we were
in the break to folks watching, and the footage is disturbing.
I don't know if you've seen any of it, but
it's it's bad. It's not good. As I mentioned again,
(21:49):
it's Newsome and Bass. Gavin Newsom, governor of Comifornia, and
the mayor of La Karen Bass, both let that city burn.
They want to let it burn again. I just can't imagine.
Mike your back. Good morning, How are you, my friend?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
I'm good, Justin, say Justin again, what do you expect?
Speaker 9 (22:10):
You got four years of wide open borders. We're not
even closer being done cleaning this up. This is you
know I got. But the thing that really gets me
the worst, Justin, is all that crap going on out
there is when I see someone burn the American flag,
it's just like driving a steak right through my heart.
I'm gonna tell you.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Congress needs to get off their hands, the Supreme Court
needs to butt out, and let's get something past. If
you're caught doing that and you're an illegal, you're gone
for good.
Speaker 10 (22:42):
Period.
Speaker 9 (22:43):
If you're a citizen. You don't belong being one ten
years in present. Let's get something done about this. I'm
sick at talking about it. The American people are sick
of seeing it.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
To your point, and I appreciate the phone call, Thank you, Mike. God.
To your point, it's interesting you say that because I
do have the I have the I have the data here.
I have the data, folks. The data is here, the
science and the data. You're supposed to trust the science,
trust the data. I got it right here, the data,
(23:17):
and it's not mine, it's theirs. This is CBS that
I pull here, CBS News poll. The Trump administration's deportation
program headed into the weekend with a positive net approval
for Americans. Do you think Americans you and I average
(23:38):
every day for it? Do you think that people watching
cars get burned and police officers get pelted with objects
and being attacked in the streets do you think that's
going to help this number or hurt it? The Democrats,
the radical left, the communists to one overtake this country,
(24:01):
and they almost have, folks, they almost have. I got
to be very clear with you and Mike is he's
onto something here. So it's gonna take a long time
to clean this mess up. Trump's only got a couple
of years. He's got to work on it, try and
get that done. But this is rooting this kind of
stuff out is going to take a long time. And
(24:25):
that's why we need to continue to pray about this
and of obviously stand through it because even when poll
numbers rigged or not swing up or down, your resolve
is going to make the difference. I'm convinced it did
in twenty twenty four during the elections. And by the way,
just so we repeat this because it's worth it. Just
(24:47):
because we had a favorable result in the election, that
twenty twenty four doesn't mean that things are over. You
can't set, you can't rest at this point. Now it's
time to make sure that the job is followed through
with and get it done. The survey completed, CBS has
to post it's there's somebody there, just like I can't
believe I have to post this. The survey completed just
(25:10):
prior to Saturday's protests and events they call it. You
mean riots, is what you mean? You know the riots
that took place Saturday at Los Angeles. So the net approval,
by the way, is favorable Americans like Trump's approach. That's
(25:35):
what the poll numbers say. They like Trump's approach to
the immigration and deportation programs for folks here illegally in
the country. Fifty four percent approve strong numbers upon the
Republican base, which which you would expect, right. But you know,
(25:57):
now when you got these protests going on, uh, you
get these folks just at lawless, oh, which which reminds
me we've we've got an update.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
You know.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Let me let me see if I can get it here.
This is this just end, did it? Did it? This
is from the most lawless secretary of State in the
history of Michigan now wants to oversee her own election.
That's right, she wants to oversee her own election, and
(26:36):
she wants to run for governor. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson,
breaking the law, breaking the law. Did you see what
she said over the weekend? It was it was incredible.
(26:57):
She's all in saying, you know, I'm a I'm a spout.
You know, let me just read it to you just
so you get it. And I thought, well, you know,
this is really cute coming from the most lawless secretary
of state Joscelyn Benson. Judge told her multiple times she's
broken the law, broken the law, broken the law. I
(27:21):
don't know who did this, but I think it was
Anna Hoffman over on Twitter X. It's great. It's kind
of guy who's standing up looking like he's right out
of Mad Max with the mask on and everything in
the gear. And then he's got a big Mexican Flagon
Air standing on top of a burnt out Waymo car
which is like a self driving car out there, and
(27:43):
then the tweet and Benson standing next to her in
her little cute little power pose. Ah, this is just priceless.
Here's your tweet. As a military spouse whose career is
inspired by the bravery of citizens who stood up for
democracy during the Civil Rights movement and the National Guard
(28:03):
who protected them, I am appalled that President Trump is
deploying our own military to quell protest against this regime.
It's not who we are. It does not make us great,
and I pray that no law abiding people are hurt
or worse due to this flagrant, tyrannical, abusive power. That's
take notes, folks, that's who wants to be your governor
(28:26):
of the state of Michigan. Laying it out there for you.
That's who wants to be your governor in the state
of Michigan. She would govern thusly. Just remember that she
is absolutely radical. She pretends like she's a moderate. Can't
(28:49):
even call these things what they are, which is riots. Riots,
that's exactly what they are. Has to call them protest. Oh,
they're mostly peaceful, that hold mean, by the way, that
whole meme, the mostly peaceful prey're after doing it again.
It's been resurrected. They're out there doing it again. Here's
(29:13):
the president on it over the weekend. By the way,
we're gonna be watching it very closely.
Speaker 9 (29:17):
And when they spit at people, you.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Know, they spit, that's a new thing.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
They're spit and worse, you know what they throw at them, right,
And when that happens, I have.
Speaker 9 (29:27):
A little statement.
Speaker 7 (29:28):
They say, they spit, we hit And I told them.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Nobody's gonna spit on our police officers. Nobody's gonna spit on.
Speaker 9 (29:38):
Our military, which they do is a common thing.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
They get up to them this far away and.
Speaker 9 (29:43):
Then they start spitting in their face. That happens, they
get hit very hard.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
There you have it, there, you have it. By the way,
they are planning protests all across the country for the fourteenth.
IM already starting to get questions and about this. I'm
what he said in Lowell, they are they going to
try and protest in law I saw put the zip
code and I found out that there's a protest being
planned in Lowell. Well, loll. It has unfortunately become very progressive. Uh,
(30:20):
And that's part of what we're actually watching happen, is
that some of these most radical folks are infiltrating some
of these towns, these small towns, college towns particularly, but
small towns where they can have a say, and turned
them into these enclaves. So be aware of that. I
don't know that I would like change my life over
(30:42):
any of this stuff or your plans, but you know,
it's not like I ever feel like I would have
a problem going to downtown Lowell. But that's that's just me,
you know, downtown Grand Rapids. No, probably not gonna take
the kids out during the protests and the planned events,
probably not gonna do that. But that's why the presidents
(31:06):
tried to make this stop. Now asked about the Insurrection Act,
He's actually starting to call these folks, insurrectionists on UH
post on social media, which is interesting language. Watch the
progression and where we're headed. Folks. They're trying to push
him into a place where they really want him to
go UH and he may be happy to go there.
(31:27):
They think it will help him. I doubt it, and
I hate to see this either way. I don't want
to see these types of things have to happen. I
don't think you'd want to use this type of insurrection Act,
but I believe that he will.
Speaker 9 (31:42):
Give interview golf plans in both in Direction Act, you
plant us in troops still off analysts.
Speaker 6 (31:49):
Planning to affect.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
Insurrection Act, you still plantas in troop well, our troops everywhere.
