Speaker 1 (00:00):
I mean just so many big plays today, so many
big passing places.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
That's the thing, Like, we.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
Have not seen consistently this offense play at the highest
level that it can in and I still think that
there's a lot of room for improvement, no doubt about it.
But the deep passing has been a big subject right
for a lot of Broncos fans.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
So it's certainly nice to see that.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
That was our fast stat Presented by Exfinity introducing the
five Year Price Guarantee, one Internet Price five years Guaranteed.
I'm Ryan Edwards live from the smash Burger Sports Desk
with a new four ninety nine menu featuring the single
All American Burger singles, Luxe Burger, and the new Americana
Big Dog. Today's game, Broncos Football is presented by Ramos Law,
official injury law firm, partner of the Denver Broncos. We're
(00:44):
gonna get back to the phones for just a second
by the Anthony Rod chiming in here leaving the stadium.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
What's up, Anthony Rod?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
How are you? Man?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Ryan Edwards? My man, I gotta tell you. Back in
Week five when the Broncos beat Eagles, people called it
the biggest win here in Broncos country in ten years.
Only took about a month and a half for that
to quickly be replaced with now what I think is
easily the biggest win of the season and in the
last decade, taking sole possession of first place by a
(01:11):
wide margin. Now with beating the Chiefs four game inch
lead over them charged and losing today, Man, it feels good.
It feels good to be in this position, a position
I did not think they were going to be in.
I'm happy to old takes expose myself, Ryan, I did
not think they were going to take this game today,
big time win.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, you've been in zach Seegers.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
You guys, oh oh yeve little faith oh yeve little faiths.
For whatever reason, you guys continue continue to pick.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
You might be doing it as a bit, I say
with air quotes like Ben says, but I don't think
I think you legitimately said I don't know if they
can win this game.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
I I yeah, definitely not a bit on my take.
I am not the wet blanket that does it for fun.
You know, Andy Reid led teams coming off of by
now twenty two to five over his ten year ps
two out Singleton who wears the dot out JK. Dobbins,
a monumental off the NBA. On the offense, I did
not think this was going to be the Broncos' day.
I thought the Chiefs are going to come in and
show that they are still alive in this division race.
(02:07):
And I gotta tell you, even though the run game
wasn't there, I think R. J. Harvey has some work
to do, especially between the tackles. And then they're very,
very very fortunate to have Julie McLaughlin who obviously has
been asked in previous years to be the guy to
step up in big moments and bow Knicks Man. Bow
Knicks delivered I think a lot, especially in the short game,
but the big time passes keeps faith in Troy Franklin
late in the game to go to him for a
(02:28):
couple of big gainers. Cortland Sutton, who I think a
lot of people have been asking all year along. While
he hasn't been more involved in the game, he obviously
had a big ten game. And we're watching the breakout
of Pat Bryant, man comes back from that injury to
come back in and make some crucial catches.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
So it feels good.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
And honestly, Ryan, I gotta tell you, I'm a bit
shocked with the law room response. Honestly, I thought that
there was been a lot more pride in specifically taking
down the Chiefs, but both Jonathan Cooper and Troy Franklin,
they are making it about them. They did not want
this to do. We always do the whole which team
won or did this team lose? Uncles are making about
how this team is a team that got this win. Today,
(03:03):
it's not about beating the Chiefs. It's the fact that
the Bronco is now nine to two, our team that
got this win. So that was I was kind of
surprised at that. I thought to be a lot more
pride and specifically beating the Chiefs. But this is a
team that has high hopes. They're making it about themselves,
so I was really pleasantly surprised. And last thing, Ryan,
I'll leave you with this Riley Moss. There's been a
lot of chatter all season long. Granted, the target share
(03:24):
I think amplifies it, but I asked him specifically about
the adjustments he has to make when a game is
being called a certain way, and he took full accountability.
He says, he plays aggressive, he likes to play the
way that he does, very physical, but he knows he
has to get this work done. He knows that it's
something that he needs to take responsibility for, and he
did so. So this team is taking full accountability.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
And it feels good, right, good stuff. Anthony Rod, my man,
appreciate you going in. All right, thank you. We'll let
him go all right.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Back to the phones we go, three all three, Sei
eighty five. Anthrey Rod doing a wonderful job, by the way,
wonderful job when it comes to our social media stuff,
all sorts of fantastic video throughout the pregame and in
the post game and all that stuff. So give him
a follow at Anthony Rod thirty three does a really
good job.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Back to the phones we go, And Frank the tank.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Is up next here.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
What's a Frank.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Dig it?
Speaker 6 (04:17):
I'll just say it right now.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yeah, that uh is going oh way, So now I
might live in Texas, but.
Speaker 7 (04:27):
It doesn't matter.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Yeah, the Broncos are gonna climb and climb and climb
and climb through the old way.
Speaker 8 (04:36):
To Yeah, I dig it.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I like that, Frank, And listen, hey, hey, anything else.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
You want to add.
Speaker 7 (04:45):
I love your grind man, you're fucking awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Oh hey, I think you're pretty cool too.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
But we can't we can't say. I can't say the language.
But that's really nice of you, and.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
It's on me. Listen. That was actually on me because
I said anything else.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
So that's.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
For me. Uh, thank you, Frank. That'll be in the
podcast later. You guys could listen to if you're listening
over the air, you don't get that one. All right, whoo,
let's keep it clean. Let's go to Alex. I assume
Alex will keep it clean. What's up, Alex? How are you?
Speaker 4 (05:23):
What's up? Ron I will keep it clean.
Speaker 9 (05:24):
You know my mind, I'll keep it clean. You know,
this is an amazing one for the Broncos. You know,
finally Nick Wright can shut up, he can be quiet,
and he can finally move the Broncos up his I
don't know, like bias pyramid chain thing that he does
on Fox every week, but anyways, you know what, this
is an amazing game for the Broncos. I love everything.
Van Stros is an amazing defensive quarter. I'm gonna say
(05:47):
the number one defensive corner in the National Football League.
Speaker 10 (05:49):
This year.
Speaker 9 (05:50):
I think he's just made an amazing adjustments. And I
say this, Riley Moss, Hey, you know those are debatable penalties.
I mean there was a lot of miss calls both sides,
I would say, I mean the rest were dec I
would say a little bit more favorites to the Chiefs,
but obviously you know they've always been favorite.
Speaker 11 (06:06):
But hey, the Broncos.
Speaker 9 (06:08):
A win is a win scoreboard for the Chiefs fans.
Who cares. I think the Broncos are doing really good.
I think it's an amazing job you had, Sutten, Franklin,
I mean Pat Bryant, all of them stepped up in
this game. I mean big catches, bow knicks, throws the
ball out there for deep left plays over twenty yards.
For all those guys with making those big catches. I
love it. And I'll give one shout out to Don Old.
Speaker 12 (06:29):
Rizzy.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
You know, a couple of weeks ago, I said, I'm
not sure if we should have hired him. I'm so
sorry you're putting Frank Crumb in there to block that.
Pat was probably the biggest momentum swing in the game.
And I say thank you so much, Rizzy and the
Marvin Mims he's returned the ball excellent against to set
us up in field goal range.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
So good.
Speaker 9 (06:48):
Shout out to Darnah Rizzy, go.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Broncos, Alex.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
You're pretty fired up both those times. Kind of a
measure happy. I could hear man, I could hear very
fired up. All right, dud On the text line, great show, Ryan,
thank you. I appreciate that. I don't know if that's
hearing the languish.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
I love the text line.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
I love the people listening on the stream because the
textures all of a sudden get like, oh my goodness,
it's great.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
The iHeart Radio aff I tell you guys, the iHeart
Radio app is great for multi reasons, including I guess
reasons like that. Okay, we do have still three fifty
dollars gift card, says Sam's Number three Diner and Bar
presenting sponsored Denver Defense three and outs Broncos React gives
away three fifty dollars gift cards every week to listeners
in Denver Bowlders. We have three though still to give away.
We're on, of course, until nine o'clock. Let's go back
(07:35):
to the phones though. And Andrew is next leave a
mile high. What's up Andrew.
Speaker 10 (07:43):
Hey, Ryan, good to hear from you. Good to chime
in from the hotel room now. And made it back
to the home hotel room from the stadium, and boy,
I mean it's like I was here for the Giants game,
here for the Raiders game, here for the chief game.
And what my tradition was hunter and spice loote before
the game. And I think I got carried out over
(08:03):
for the Packers game. It was beautiful to see the
stadium not you know be you know, like gaps were
in the stadium. It was like only two hundred and
one no shows, which was amazing. The crowd was alive,
The crowd was used. They made it tough for the
Chiefs and the fans brought it today and it was
(08:24):
so beautiful to see nobody leaving that a fourth quarter.
Everybody was hanging out and after the game celebrating like
they won the Super Bowl. Man, it was a great
feeling and it was it was great to be a
Broncos fan today and it's gonna be a great week.
The the thing that you know, it's kind of worrisome
a little bit is Troy Franklin. I know we talked
(08:45):
about last week there was a deep ball in the
fourth quarter. I mean, if he continues running, man, it would.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
It be a fifty to fifty ball.
Speaker 10 (08:52):
But he stopped running for some reason on these deep balls,
and I don't know why. I think, you know, it's
something that we got to look into and maybe, like
we said last week, give more reps to Pat Brant,
because man, he is looking, like I want to say,
almost like a Tim Patrick. You know, he finds a
way to get open, but sure handed, he gets those
tough catches. And he played through I think a tough injury.
(09:12):
I don't know if it was a color bone or
if it was a knee, but man, he went back
in there and it was just beautiful to see at
third of all, Man, it was great to have Marvin
Men's back.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Man.
Speaker 10 (09:21):
He brought some juice to the offense. He could just
fill the electricity just every time he touched the ball.
I was hoping that he would get like something big
on the offensive side, but boy, on special teams he
was huge. And I love the way that we're building
a momentum for after the bye week. I think we're
gonna look even better after this game.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
I think I think.
Speaker 10 (09:39):
Boone Nicks came out angry. He was ready to like
just prove a point. And I just love how the
ending was for Will Lutz. I call him Big, I
call him Will Big Peanuts.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Okay, right, all right, all right, right, right, right right,
that's that's that's enough there. We should probably get that
one too, Yeah, just for fun. I appreciate the mindset there.
Andrews probably another borderline, but you know, yeah, we got
we have fam We got families listening, dude, we got
families listening.
Speaker 10 (10:06):
All right.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
We I think after two we should take a quick break.
We're gonna take a quick break.
Speaker 2 (10:13):

We do have some we do some limitations. Yeah, Frank
was very supportive. Thank you, Shannon.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
What's been going to say?
Speaker 13 (11:42):
Now?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
The defense won the game for them. The offense performed
when they need to. That's on Sean too, nine to two.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, I'm sure Ben'll move the goalposts. I'm sure Ben,
knowing Ben, he's gonna say he believed in them all along.
That's that's gonna be sort of the Ben all right
way he approaches it. So I imagine a Broncos country
tonight tomorrow night at six o'clock. I called this listen,
I picked against him once again and they ended up winning.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Brilliant. That's what Ben sounds like. We'll Ben making appearance
on reacting. I don't know. I don't know what Ben's doing,
but we're gonna roll on with you guys, That's what
I know.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Let's keep saying, Monick sucks that he keeps coming out
angry and something to prove. Do you think there's adminishing
returns on something like that? But I hear what you're saying.
I hear what you're saying. Yeah, he was he played angry,
no doubt about that. All right, we go back to
the phones. Thank you guys for hanging on three or
three seven, three eighty five eighty five skillet?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
All right, here we go, skill it. What's up?
Speaker 14 (12:34):
Man?
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Is it early for you? This is a little early
for you to be calling in skillet.
Speaker 15 (12:37):
What's up, man, I'm just out here driving my truck
and making a casino better. Earlier today, I took Denver
and I parlayed him with Detroit because the super Bowl
is going to be Detroit and Denver, and if Detroit
don't win tonight, it'll probably be Philadelphia in Denver. But
Denver's going going to the super Bowl. And you guys
(12:58):
don't have any business going out there to Santa Clair
and broadcasting. You need to go to Vegas.
Speaker 16 (13:05):
Call Jay, tell him let me in there and let
you guys in there for free. They'll get publicity on
the radio. They'll let you in there for free, and
bring Rome me being with you too. I'm telling you
right now, this is the in of Kansas City. They're
they're going to the super Bowl, and uh that's about all.
(13:29):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
The Dome always appreciate his skill.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
It well, I tell you, if the Broncos are in
the super Bowl, well, first of all, I know the
broadcast crew will be there in Santa Clara.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
I'd be kind of cool if I got to go.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Honestly, I usually move back here in the studio just hanging,
but this one might be where I kind of push
to see if I get to go three all three seven, three,

Back to the phones and Chris, you're up next year
on Broncos react.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
What's up?
Speaker 12 (14:05):
Chris?
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Hey doing right?
Speaker 17 (14:07):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I'm doing great, man, Thanks for holding on.
Speaker 16 (14:10):
I just gotta I.
Speaker 17 (14:11):
Want to talk about Jaquon McMillan. Then, yeah, that's I know.
When we drafted ja Day Barn, there was a lot
of rumors and calls out there that maybe we were
gonna trade McMillan, you know, was expendable, and man, I'm
sure glad when you were we didn't listening to that.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
We kept we.
Speaker 17 (14:24):
Kept him and held on to him. We don't win
that game to night without Jaquon McMillan one.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Hundred percent, man.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
And you're absolutely right, because when the Broncos had drafted
Jaday Barn, it was just sort of a foregone conclusion
and there was a lot of people just saying oh,
you're just gonna kick him to the curve. And it's like, well,
hang on, you give some opportunity here and know that
depth is a good thing to have. Now, I do
think that there's a discussion and I'm not like, let
you go just yet, but I do think there's a
discussion about how much more you'd like to see Jaday
(14:53):
Baron do eventually. But in the meantime, man, just take
the good play. I'm with you, Just take take a
high perform forming defensive back. By the way, romy Bean
Chiming in Hiromy says tell skill and I'm coming with
It's fantastic. Thank you, Romy appreciate it. But anyways, yeah, listen, man,
you gotta give him some love. He got the two sacks,
he had a couple of really good, nice PBUs He's
(15:15):
been nails.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (15:17):
Then, lastly, I just want to say a shout out
to Steven A. Smith and Cam Newton for all the
negative talking the billboard material. Chantean use that to advantage
and I'd love to hear what they think now.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
No doubt, hey appreciate the call.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Yeah, I mean get uh, what is that Nick Wright
guaranteeing a chiefs I mean he is a Chiefs fan,
so it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
A guaranteeing went, Hey, you shouldn't guarantee wins. No, no
doubt about that. Caleb, You're on next year on Broncos React.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
What's up? Caleb?
Speaker 5 (15:49):
Hey?
Speaker 13 (15:50):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I'm fantastic man. How are you?
Speaker 6 (15:53):
Number One?
Speaker 8 (15:54):
I wear my Bradley Broby jersey today because I knew
Jaquan McMillan needed to make a play and he did.
Number two. We got Sean Payton and we're winning football
for the first time in ten years. That feels great.
And we did it without our best player on offense
and our best player on defense. We fought the rest
the whole game, so that feels good. I do have
(16:16):
one question, though, why can we not use Quinn Minors
more and just run the ball through the A gap,
the B gap, get some traps going. We don't have
to do it all the time, but oh, we gotta
get something going up the middle man tower football defense.
That's how we're gonna win. And if you do it
under center, you open up all the play action, relieve
(16:39):
bow let them get more comfortable. That's my question.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Okay, I appreciate that the running game is something that
needs to continue to be developed. You know, that was
one of the things we talked about coming into this game.
As I said, last year, they won ten games with
kind of a we'd say mediocre but lackluster running game,
and I knew that they'd have a player for this game.
But over the course of the season, especially as you
(17:02):
roll into December and eventually into January, you're gonna have
to be better. Nice thing here is Jalil McLoughlin. He
looked good. He looked really good, and he's got fresh legs,
so the opportunity is absolutely there to give him some
more run. Imagine they'll add another body at some point,
whether that's Latavious Murray or otherwise. But I liked some
(17:24):
of the things they did here, but they're not playing
bully football. They did a little bit earlier on the
season with JK.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Dobbins.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
But I listen, man, run behind your best offensive lineman.
To your point, you can absolutely do that five six, six,
nine zero. So I want to shout out Dave Temper
really quick because he sent us the final call, the
game winner from the Kansas City broadcast. So we have
the Broncos brocket. We love doing dueling broadcast calls. This
is one of my favorite things to do. So here
(17:53):
is the game winner from our own Dave Logan just
a little bit ago.
Speaker 18 (17:57):
This ball will be spotted right between the hash marks
at the twenty five and attempt of thirty five yards
against Kansas City. I won't even mention it. Snap placement,
kick on the way.
Speaker 17 (18:08):
And it is good.
Speaker 18 (18:13):
They don't block this one like last year in Kansas City.
And on the final play of the game, the Denver
Broncos have beaten the Kansas City Chiefs by a final
score of twenty two to nineteen. Sean Payton walks over,
extends a right hand to Andy Reid.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Okay, so that is our call here on the Broncos
radio network.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Here is the Kansas City call of the same play.
Speaker 19 (18:42):
Nineteen nineteen tie. The holder is the rookie punter jeremyccrosshaw.
Long snapper Mitchell Froboni as LUTs lines it up, snap
is down, let's his field.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Goal is good.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
On the Broncos.
Speaker 19 (18:56):
We'll go to nine and two with another narrow victory
this season, and they win by a score of twenty
two to nineteen and the Chiefs fall to five and
five on the season.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
There you go, Mitch Holtis ninety six to five, the fan,
the Chiefs radio network on the call.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Chiefs needed this one. They needed it bad.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
That was one they had to have. Division's done, I
think more or less at this point for Kansas City,
which is remarkable. He got nine straight years and the
boy the Chargers got crushed today, I mean absolutely crushed
by Jacksonville. Think of beauty a big win when you
(19:39):
had to have it, a big win, you absolutely had
to have it. And the national media was so ready
to call this team frauds like they wanted to so
bad after that Thursday night game. A few of them
are out there kind of hinting at it, but they're
on the middle of a seven game winning streak.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Really hard to say things like that. And then they
get this win.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
That not only cements that what they are doing is legitimate,
but they get it in a high stakes moment, and
you guys can take that effort and do whatever you
want with it. Three oh three, seven, one, three eighty five,
eighty five, five six six nine zeros are koa Comma
spirit health text Linem talk about fronts.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
That's that's the effort I was talking about.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Some of our network stations are leaving us, but you
can continue to listen to Broncos Radio Network dot com
or on the iHeartRadio app. Broncos React will continue after
this on the Kay Broncos Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Pat Bryant is he is so good.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
He is so so good, and he's got a bright
future in front of him. And I know there's a
lot of people down on some of the receiving core
for the Broncos. The drops certainly a couple more drops
today from Troy Franklin, but he made a couple of
catches when he absolutely had to happen to that thirty
two yard at the end of the game to set
up the game winning field goal.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Was fantastic.

(21:14):
nine o'clock tonight, so give us a call. We'll be
taking calls all the way up. Ricky, You're up next
year on Broncos React. What's up? Ricky?
Speaker 7 (21:22):
Hey, Ryan, appreciate you taking the call. Yes, I really
just want to just persons foremost say that. I think
when you're a team like the Denver Broncos, it's important
to win, and it's got to look a certain way.
So good teams win, great teams cover. So it's important
that a great team that's eight and two beats a
five and four team, a middling mediocre team. And I'm
being a little facetious because I'm ready for Broncos Country,
(21:43):
and I'm imploring Broncos Country to just accept we are
now one of those teams. We are now in the
upper echelon of the NFL, and I think we've We've
been hurt so many times, we've been disappointed so many times,
but we're one of those teams. We're one of those
dogs that just finds a way to win. We've got
that clutch gene for whatever that's worth. Sean Payton is
(22:04):
a legit coach. Bondix finds a way to win and
I think that we're not used to yet being one
of those teams that just is gonna win on a
Sunday and the Chiefs. Maybe we're that team for a
long time. But we're here now and we need to
as Broncos Country, accept that fact that we're now the
top dog in the AFC West and we need to
start acting like it.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I think it's a fantastic point, Ricky. Do you live
local here like Denver Boulder area?
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (22:27):
I sure do.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
All right, I'd like to give you a fifty dollars
gift card to Sam's Number three Diner and Bar.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
You cool it, I would love that.
Speaker 7 (22:33):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
All right, thank you, appreciate the call. My guy Shannon
is going to talk to you on line four right now.
So congratulations to Ricky. Just want a fifty dollars gift
card to Sam's Number three Diner and Bar, presenting sponsor
of Denver Defense three and outs. We have a couple
more to give away. Head back to the phones and
Carrie up next.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Carrie?
Speaker 20 (22:52):
Hey, I'm so proud of the Broncos for beating the
Raiders last Thursday, and then they have they're beating Kansas City,
And I have a history question for you, and I'll
hang up and listen. How many times has the Broncos
beaten Kansas City when John Elway was playing in the
(23:14):
ninety seventh season, And I just want to know the
record with Kansas City? And you have just done a
great job, and I mean patience, most of our perfect work.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Thank you so much, Carry, I was very kind. I
appreciate you listening. So in the nineteen ninety season, how
did they do against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Well, I will tell you they.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Played them for week one and they beat them nineteen.
It's like nineteen to three. I'm thinking like that, looking that, Yeah,
that's right, So nineteen to three. And then they played
them again obviously and they lost twenty four to twenty two.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
So that was the record.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
They went one and one against Kansas City in the
nineties seven season. There we go, We got Rusty. You're
on next year on Broncos React. What's up, Rusty?
Speaker 12 (24:07):
Hey, you don't need to give me a gift card
because I'm still waiting on the one from last week.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Okay, all right, well hey listen, we can't I'll get it.
Speaker 12 (24:14):
Yeah, you get it, No, you do great. I appreciate it.
I wanted to talk about that, uh, that play where
Peyton apparently but I don't think so got a penalty
for messing with the running into the official Yeah. I
think there were two. Yeah, I think there were two
penalties on that play, and they actually declined that penalty
(24:36):
and took the block in the back penalty on the
other side they did, and then and then okay, so
he he Peyton wasn't really penalized.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
He was not.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Yes, they declined that one and they took they took
the block in the back.
Speaker 15 (24:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (24:50):
And when I when I saw the replay on TV,
it looked like, okay, Peyton was was within the white
chalk area, you know, on his sideline, and the ref
ran into him. I don't think Peyton did anything to
the rest in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, you know, I.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Gotta go watch it again.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
It was it was kind of happening all so fast,
and they had the interception and it's just there's just
so much going on and but yeah, I want to
go watch it again for sure.
Speaker 12 (25:14):
But really it didn't matter because it's you know, it
wasn't assess right, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Mean, in the end, it didn't I mean you're like,
you're glad it didn't, right, I mean that would have
been kind of a brutal way to Yeah, I mean
because it was such a big return and if that
was the only thing, but then you had the block
in the back, So.
Speaker 12 (25:29):
Yeah, whatever, but the great game. I don't have any
fingernail fingernails left anymore, right, I'm about down to my knuckles.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
I'll tell you what, Rusty.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
It's like, I knew going into this one is probably
gonna be like that, So I guess I had sort
of prepared in my mind either way.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
But it doesn't. It still doesn't make it any easier,
if that makes sense.
Speaker 12 (25:48):
Yeah, no, not at all. And they're they're driving me crazy.
I'm I'm seventy, and I don't know if I'm going
to survive this season.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Hanging there, Rusty, we need you appreciate it.
Speaker 12 (25:56):
Man, Thank you.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate it that.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
It's good. Yeah, hang in there, Donald, You're up next year.
We'll get back to the text line a second.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
What's up Donald?
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Hey, top of the day to you.
Speaker 12 (26:08):
Ryan.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Indeed, sir, how are you?
Speaker 10 (26:11):
Thank you for taking my call? Well, I just call
him one hundred and bucked.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Hey, look at you.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Congrats man, that's awesome.
Speaker 20 (26:22):
Man.
Speaker 10 (26:23):
Is the Chief's gonna make the playoffs?
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Are the Chiefs gonna make the playoffs? That's a good question.
Right now. They are on the outside looking in, so
I still believe in them a little bit more. But
Jacksonville winning today was a big deal. So not only
did it obviously push the Chargers back down a little bit,
but also they were holding onto the seventh seeds, so
that was a that was a big time win for them.
So I don't know. Five, they're five and five. They
(26:48):
have some work to.
Speaker 12 (26:49):
Do, Okay, Well, go Broncos.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Perfectly said go Broncos, Thank you, Donald. I appreciate that.
A couple of texts here five six, six nine zero.
A very nice win, Owait. They didn't just come off
of bye week. O. Wait, they needed this win to
have a slim chance of winning the division. Await. They
had no chance to win once it been picked them
to win. Ref spot the chief sixteen points and the
Broncos still come out on the win. Yeah, you know,
(27:14):
that's a little bit of a debate. I guess you
know you're glad that ended up being a win. And
you didn't have to have a discussion about the refs.
But I did think it was pretty pretty gregious tonight.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
But you know, so whatever I.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Tweeted out earlier today that I thought, I hoped, I
had concerns, right, And one of my concerns was the
refs and if there was going to be a big
swing as a result. And there were a couple of
swings as a result of the refs. But again, you
had to survive it. You have to find a way
to survive it. And the Chiefs are going to make
places and they did make plays. Some of them were
earned and some of them were not. With the out
(27:47):
the assist from the refs, Broncos win this game by ten.
I mean, yeah, kinda kind of right. Oh, let's say, hey, Ryan,
Broncos are a tough, nasty group. They are just beating
on people, not always pre But why do you think
the fourth quarter differential is what it is? Teams are
getting beat down all day and the Broncos make plays.
This is their identity, being physical and tough, and it
(28:10):
certainly is sustainable.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
It's who they are.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
I think Kufanga and green Law have made an equally
positive effect on the team's mentality as they have in
their performance in the field. Let's go one eight nines
and set reference to Sean's hurricane.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Window right now.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
That's good. Yeah, Sean, Actually I'll play that for you guys.
I had that cut. Yeah, this was this was good
the one eight nines.
Speaker 14 (28:31):
I think that loss in Kansas City was where the
one eighty nine miles per hour was tested, and that
was a tough, gut wrenching loss. But I think there
was a feeling, and if you look at our record
from that loss, there was a feeling that you know,
we belong here, and there's either wins or losses. But
(28:54):
the response after that game last year with the block
field goal, you know, was was super and so there
was some irony obviously when we were taking a knee
to kick the field goal. But I just, you know,
I think that that confidence thing that we always talk
about exists in that locker room with these this group
(29:16):
of guys. It's special. You know, they'll have some time
to recover and then get ready for that next stretch
of six games. I think we're three home, three away,
if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Sean Payton presser presented by Ramos Law doctor, lawyer, partner,
find out what makes them better at Ramos law dot com.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
That's a great text.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Yeah one more in here, call me crazy if you must,
but Broncos Country, but one. Dave Logan may have been
right when he said this could just be one of
those years.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Kind of feels like it right, kind of feels like it.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Eight wins in a row, nine and two leading the
AFC week eleven. Pretty cool stuff five six, six nine
zero is there? Text line three h three seven three
eighty five eighty five the kind of a different kind
of game here with the Eagles and Lions. Eagles are
up three to nothing over the Detroit Lions with eight
nineteen remaining in the second quarter. We'll keep posting on that.
(30:08):
We'll get an NFL scoreboard check here in a little bit.
We'll be right back on the Kway Broncos Radio Network,
and right to the call we had earlier said people
were riding him off, said that he needed to be
benched because you drafted Johnny Baron in the first round
and you had to play the first round rookie. That'd
have been a mistake. That'd have been a massive mistake.
You don't win this game without Jaquon McMillan and by
(30:30):
the way, Susie Wargen had a chance to catch up
with Ja Kwan, along with Julian McLoughlin, Jonathan Cooper, and
of course, Voice the Broncos Dave Logan talked to Bo Nixon.
All those interviews are right now available on demand at
Kowacolorado dot com.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Welcome back to Broncos React.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Today's game presented by Children's Hospital Colorado Official Children's Hospital.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Of the Denver Broncos.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Three h three seven one, three eighty five eighty five
five six, six nine zero is our Kae Commas Spirit
Health text line quick text here fired up Ryan nine
and two. Baby, this defense will keep us in every game.
Offense can continue to grow. But was clutch Y had
again down the stretch some absolutely great throws. Great time
for a week off of rest. Yeah, especially because you
have a chance to get a little healthier and maybe
(31:12):
you get Nate Adkins back, maybe you get Pats or
Tan back, and again you know these extra reps for
these dbs. I think it's all very good. You kind
of know what you want to know, what your depth
can do. Pats Ertan is phenomenal and he plays one
hundred percent of the snaps when he's on the field.
But you won three straight games now with patzer Tan
off the field. If I'd have told you guys that
(31:34):
at some point pats Ortan was going to go down
and you would win three straight games doing it, now,
maybe you'd say, Wow, you had raiders in there. I mean,
you still had to find a way to win and
you couldn't be a liability. And now we will get
to the Riley Moss stuff, and I know there's a
lot of frustration. Riley Moss will not be benched, but
he needs work, continue to work on his technique. No
other cornerback, first of all, is targeted more than Riley Moss.
(31:55):
And no other cornerback has as many defensive pass interferences
at as Riley Moss.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Both of those things are just facts.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
But I'm still of the belief that Riley Moss is
a very good cornerback. And maybe you can feel differently
about that. We can talk about it. Three three seven,
three eighty five eighty five. Though, let's go back to
the phones. Marson, are you up next year on Broncos reack?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
What's up?
Speaker 13 (32:17):
Marcy hey Man, Thanks so much for having us, got
my seventh grade nephew in the car. That was his
first pro game, and we just killed it.
Speaker 16 (32:27):
It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
That is fantastic. I'm glad you guys had a good time.
And what was what was the crowd like?
Speaker 13 (32:34):
Oh, the crowd was awesome. We even had five taudy
Kansas City fans next to us, but we still did great.
And whoever it was this morning kind of predicted, Hey,
I think we'll take it to the end and let's
is going to kick a field goal?
Speaker 15 (32:50):
Was that you or was that one of your colleagues?
Speaker 2 (32:52):
You know, I don't know. I was pretty positive that
the Broncos were going to win.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
I said it would come down to probably the last
last second play, somewhere around those lines. And so, I
mean it might have been I both I know both
Jojo and Nick Ferguson both predicted the Broncos to win.
So we're the three. But yeah, Ben Albright was picking
against them the entire time, so I guess that's it's
got to be one of us three.
Speaker 13 (33:12):
Okay, Well it wasn't Ben, and that's for sure. Well, Hey,
my nephew wants to say hi and go Broncos.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
I'm glad you guys got a chance to go to
the game. Hey, do you live local Marcy like is
in Denver Bowlder area?
Speaker 13 (33:23):
Yeah, we sure do.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
All I'd like to give you awesome I'd like to
give you a fifty dollars gift card to Sam's Number
three Diner and Bar.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Are you cool with that?
Speaker 20 (33:30):
Oh?
Speaker 13 (33:31):
That would be awesome.
Speaker 10 (33:31):
We would love that perfect.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Thank you so much for holding on.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
I'm gonna put you on hold and Shannon Scott is
going to talk to you and we'll get you a
fifty dollars gift card to Sands Number three Diner and Bar.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
That's line one for you. Shannon.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Back to the phones and John John your next year
on Broncos React?
Speaker 2 (33:47):
What's up? John?
Speaker 6 (33:48):
Ryan? Just getting off light rail? What a game?
Speaker 4 (33:51):
It was?
Speaker 6 (33:52):
Incredible call. I've got two points in a question of
my man, I can I've got him summarize? Do you
remember the call possibly from two weeks ago, when I
when we went seven and two and I said, I
know w's at W, but what do we need to
see to convince us? When I went to the game today,
I clearly said everybody has to believe if we win,
(34:13):
and all the doubt will go away. And I just
watched that game, and I gotta tell you, so, I've
watched an evil canievil. You know eventually he's going to wreck, right,
And it's just it's the weirdest concept to not believe
at nine and two. That's that's one point. Second point,
you don't often go and watch a competitive sports team
(34:37):
professional for the defensive aspect of the game. You're usually
looking for scoring, an aggression of this, and that the
defensive part of the Broncos game is like the best
part and the offense has to come along, right. Pretty interesting. Thirdly,
my question, there was one place. It's about the reps.
(34:59):
I counted five or six and flashing points that they
just literally stole the game from us. I'm a homer,
you're a homer. Can you give me a better perspective
than that.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I kind of felt the same way, and maybe it
is a bit of a homer call. John, You know,
that's the tough Somebody was tweeting at me earlier, asking
me because because Ben was out there saying that he
thought it was fair, and I'm like, man, I just
I don't feel that way.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
But I'm not saying that the Chiefs didn't.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
But see, I thought they're holding calls like I thought
you could. Somebody texted earlier saying you could do a
whole highlight reel of Nick Benito holds, and I'm like.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
That, That's exactly what it felt like.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
It felt like they called a couple of them only
because they were so egregious.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
But there were many that that just didn't get called.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
And there were a couple of times where even Adrien
and Hill was reaching for the flag on an obvious
hold and then.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Just opted not to do it. And so it's just
I don't know, man.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
It again, it feels sometimes and it's your team, I understand,
but I'm with you, man, I didn't like it.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
I didn't like it at all.
Speaker 6 (36:00):
There was one call, if you and again I have
the stadium perspective, not the reruns. Everything else was at
an early whistle because we made a you know, a
great catch on the sideline. Yes, broke out of the
tackle and started running and then the play was dead
and then it was third and sixteen or something. Yes,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
What happened there in all hang up, that's what it was. Yeah, John,
thank you for the call. That's exactly what happened.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
They did an early whistle and yeah, and again it's
there's another defender in the area. I'm trying to remember
who it was. I think it was Tranquil ended up
being in the area, so it's likely even if he
did break that tackle, Tranquil was going to hit him
at that point.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
He slowed up.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
But it felt kind of Uh didn't feel great because
there were moments when you let other plays go but
not that one. And that's, you know, again, maybe a
little bit of homer call, but sometimes that's that's what
it's going to be. Denise, You're next Broncos react. What's up?
Speaker 4 (36:54):
Denise?
Speaker 11 (36:55):
Hey, Ryan, hows is going? I'm a Brouncles fan. I
try to go to at least two Bronco games for season.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Nice and I.
Speaker 11 (37:02):
Had to work today. I met FedEx, but I listened
to the entire game while I was at work.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Very cool, very cool?
Speaker 1 (37:10):
What uh?
Speaker 2 (37:11):
I mean?
Speaker 1 (37:11):
It's up to you if you want to tell me
what you do for a living. But but I hope,
I hope you had a nice not night at work.
Speaker 11 (37:17):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (37:17):
Well, I worked for Fix Okay, cool?
Speaker 2 (37:20):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
Well, we'll shout out to you working at FedEx and so, yeah, hey,
thanks for listening to us as well.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
What a win, right, yes, it was.
Speaker 11 (37:28):
I was excited. I did go to the Broncos Raiders game.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
Though, Okay, that was fun.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Yeah, I mean, hey, win Winterver Division team is always
a good thing, right right, right?
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Right?
Speaker 20 (37:40):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (37:40):
I enjoyed it here at work. I know I was working,
but I still enjoyed the game.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Well, Denise, thank you so much for calling in. Thanks
for listening to us at work. I hope you have
a fantastic night. Three h three seven three eighty five,
eighty five five six, six nine zero is now six
all with Detroit and Philadelphia. Jameson Williams forty or touchdown,
but and he got called for on sportsmanlike conduct, backed
up the extra point, and Jeremy Bates, Jake Bates, I
(38:06):
think missed the extra point. So it is a sixth
all with four and a half minutes remaining in the
second quarter of Sunday Night Football. All right, we got
to take quick break again, keep calling it. We're on
till nine o'clock. We got a lot of text as
well to get to We still have another Sam's number

Jets game is the only one that he's had a
chance to play in.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Been a healthy scratch all season.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
He gets back in, he gets a touchdown, pivotal touchdown
there obviously to go thirteen to six. Now, the Chiefs
went and scored on the very next drive, sixty one
yard catch Taekwon Thornton ended up brunning in with Kareem Hunt.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
But yeah, credit credit to the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
You come into this game a lot of people saying
you don't have the horses anymore, you don't have your
your two banged up Bonix is playing terrible, Sean Payton
is you know, whatever, you win the game, we'll go
back to Broncos react. I'm Ryan Ever's Live from the

What's up?
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Josh?
Speaker 21 (39:43):
Hey, how's it going?
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Good man? Thanks for hanging on.
Speaker 21 (39:45):
We're at the games, and I just wanted to say,
you know, I called last week. I was a little
hard on the Broncos, but we're looking good and it
was exciting to see the offense really turn it around.
But I had a question for you. The only thing
that concerned me were the two things where we had
those two red zone runs and we only got three
(40:08):
points on each of those drives, and sure kind of
concerns me a little bit, and I wanted to, you know,
hear your thoughts on that. And then second, when you
see it in the in the stadium, you can really
see all the plays like you can see the whole
game play there, and there were there were a few
times where if Patrick Mahomes would have been on point,
(40:28):
I think this game would have been a totally different game.
And when he was throwing towards Moss, I know you
were talking about him earlier, but how do we how
do we fix it? Because that was the thing that
was really concerning when they were throwing at him, and
if those those throws would have been on target, I
think it could have been an even more stressful game.
Speaker 6 (40:45):
Does that make sense, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
It does, it does. And listen, I thought, and thanks
for the call, man, I appreciate it. I what one.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Of the I mean.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
He actually had another PVU in the game that was
there's a really big time one because it was it
would have been offsetting penal. It didn't end up going
down because it was a penalty against the Chiefs. I
think they had legal shift, but it would have been
offsetting if he wouldn't have had the past breakup. But
he had a he was a great technique on that.
He does have some moments of really high end, high
(41:14):
level technique. But then he had some bone headed moments
and so I thought, I did not like this is me.
I did not like the call on the first DPI.
The forty yarder that I ended up setting up was
a field goal, right, I think to tie the game,
or at least maybe give them their first points. But
either way, I didn't like that one, but I thought
the other one was very well deserved. He tackled the guy,
(41:37):
and you can't is a third and nineteen, Man, it's
a third and nineteen. You just can't. You can't do that.
And he knows that too, And it's tough. Like you
win the game, right, and he certainly contributed to the win.
But then you also say, from a technique standpoint, it's
just got to be better. The red zone stuff is
(41:57):
going to be probably a little bit of a work
in progress lectual Without JK. Dobbins, I don't know what
else to say. Maybe you get another big back in there,
maybe some more time with Jaliel. I'm not really sure.
But I love for this team, and I think we
all would love to see this team be not only
efficient in the red zone, but be able to just
run the ball to dictate to their opponent what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
But I don't I don't know if this team is
ready for that.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
The thing about it though, is they had a couple
of you know, great moments, a couple of long drives,
and fortunately fortunately those miscues of not scoring touchdowns and
abiding them. But did feel like to your point, early
on in the game, boy, you really wanted those touchdowns
instead of field goals, especially when you're playing the Chiefs.
They're they're just it's like the it's like the you know,
(42:45):
fighting Dracula. You just got to keep you just got
to keep at it, right, they just keep coming back
or zombies, I don't know, probably terrible analogy. Back to
the phones and Brian Highland's ranch was up.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
Brian, Hey, Ryan, thanks for taking my call. I wanted
to give you the good, the bad, and the ugly
from the Broncos win. First of all, did you happen
to hear Sean's press conference after the game? I did.
(43:17):
I thought it was hilarious when he started. They asked
him what's different this year and he said, well, it's
like one eighty nine storm windows and people were like,
what he was talking about? Storm windows down on the
golf coat. Yes, and you got to get a high rating.
That was funny, you know. I was like, he's feeling it.
(43:37):
He's feeling good. He's just riffing and telling people whatever
he wants to do. The good. The last possession was amazing.
Get the past Courtland Sutton. That was third and fifteen.
If I recall, it looked like the Chiefs were going
to get the ball back. And what happens. Both stays
(43:58):
in the pocket, throws a twenty yard strike, Portland catches it. Boom.
Then we go to the two minute break, we come
out of it and again we're just kind of running
the clock down, but we're not in field gold range, right,
and then he gets the strike to Troy Franklin. That's
the good. The difference between this team and previous years
(44:19):
and previous bow is execution. Okay, the bad. I just
looked at the penalties. I didn't check during the game,
but dude, pen penalties for one hundred and forty seven yards?
Speaker 5 (44:32):
Did I read that right?
Speaker 2 (44:34):
You did? I mean?
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Now, now, granted forty six and forty were two of them,
so you had eighty six yards in penalty on two penalties,
but it doesn't matter. That's what they are. That that
was what That's what you did tonight.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
Yeah, and finally the ugly is you know, what you
just touched on, and that is the running game. You know,
I looked fifty nine yards. You know we're gonna we're
gonna suffer and miss jk yes, but I like what
you said. Maybe we find that extra piece that lifts
the room up. And you taught me something. You were
(45:09):
talking a couple of weeks ago about a cow bell
running back. Who's the cow bell running back? Now?
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Well, and that's the one. I don't think there's gonna
be one. I mean not right now.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
I mean maybe you're going to bring in somebody that's
going to be a bit of a short yardage guy
for you. But it feels like we're going to go
firmly by committee, and that that's what it felt like tonight.
I don't know what the final snap count was for
these two guys, but as you know we listed off
early on, it's eleven carries for RJ. Harvey and six
Virtuleia McLoughlin. And then maybe you mix in Bonicks a
little bit in the run game two and then Marvin Mims.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
I don't know. At this point, you just don't.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
You don't have that guy that you're gonna lean on,
and that is a bit of a bummer because JK
was that when you need a short yardage, when you
needed to just stay on the field.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
JK did that for you.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
Well, I got one last thing to say. Broncos React,
brought to you by Sam's Number three and Sean Payton's
storm Windows of the.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
Gulf Coast perfectly said.
Speaker 1 (46:04):
Man, appreciate the call, Ryan as always three three, three,
eighty five, eighty five five, six, six nine zero.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Let's see here.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
I think we got Marty Marty Las Vegas up next year.
What's up, Marty?
Speaker 5 (46:17):
Hey, Ran, how you doing, Man.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
I'm doing fantastic. Thanks for calling in good Hey.
Speaker 5 (46:22):
You know, the one thing I kind of wanted to
point out that I haven't really heard anything talked about
yet is the fact that, honestly, I watched the Broncos
since the early seventies. This is the first time I've
seen the Broncos played bully ball since the ninety eight
(46:44):
ninety nine seasons.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
I love that, I mean, And then in some ways
I'm with you on it.
Speaker 5 (46:51):
Touchdown what was that?
Speaker 2 (46:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (46:53):
That was what nine guys pushing his ass into the
end zone. Expeah my language.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
Yeah, that is right.
Speaker 5 (47:00):
Yeah, And they just weren't gonna quit. And it was
the whole team. It wasn't just you know, a playmaker,
it was the whole darn team basically saying we're not
gonna let you come in here and beat us.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Yeah, yeah, that's exactly right.
Speaker 5 (47:17):
Yeah, there's about this game because and I yeah, I
just that was a great win and it's probably the
best one what we've seen in ten years.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
Well said Marty. Appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Yeah, it's there's a mentality and it's we're not we're
not gonna let you beat us.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
We're not going to We're not gonna.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
Make this easy on you today and that that has
been pretty fun to watch. And honestly, like this whole
week when I said I thought the Broncos were gonna
win this game, a lot of it for me was
the lean on that. It was the lean on this
belief that we'll get to the fourth quarter and this
is in one within one score, why don't we just
find a way to win it. That's who this team
is and they just keep doing it. So what are
(47:59):
we like? What else do you need to see? I'm
not gonna say they're gonna win out. Although a couple
of Texters have been saying that tonight. But you sort
of believe, at least that in their belief that no
matter what's happening in the game, they're not gonna make
it easy on you, right, And we've seen, guys, I
(48:23):
know you have because you've been around this team for
a long time. I'm already referencing it there over the
last decade, how many games were given away or the
play that needed to be made, nobody stepped up for it.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
I mean, how many guys are reporting to tonight that.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
Just showed up when it absolutely had to happen, whether
it was on defense, offense, special teams, all three phases.
Will let's going five for five tonight. He had to
sink a fifty four yarder tonight to tie it up.
To continue to put the pressure on the Chiefs, that's
what they do. They continue to pressure their opponent with
(49:02):
their will more than anything. It's undeniable at this point,
And we have batted around the idea of the definition
of identity.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Who says it can't be their identity?
Speaker 1 (49:19):
At this point? Who's going to argue that anymore? You
just can't because you look like a fool if you do.
