Eight sixty six, eight nine oh one two five. Taking
a look at your news history made yesterday on the
NBA court, the season got underway and Lebron James took
to the court with his kid, Bronni, and.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
They were there on the sidelines. They're taking photos before
the game and I look down on the court and
I'm like, that guy looks familiar. And Bronnie and Lebron
were down there with Ken Griffy Junior and Ken Griffy Senior,
who sat court side for the entire game.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
It was a it was a moment.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
It was a moment special, and you know, you can
hate on Lebron or his kid, but it was a
special moment, especially having the Griffies there.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
Can I hate on little Bronnie for just a second course.
They bring Brownie into the game, right, and they said
in the beginning of the game, the coach was like,
we're just gonna get this out of the way. We're
gonna put this kid in. They're gonna have their moment.
They bring him in and Bronnie's hustling and he's throwing
up shots and the crowd's waiting for it, waiting for it.
Shot goes up, he gets an offensive rebound, he goes
to put it back up and they got this ball
sent to like the fifteenth row. It got cent and

(05:27):
then Bronnie sat back on the bench and enjoyed the
rest of the game.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
All right, history made, first time father and son have
played in the NBA together.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
It was a pretty cool moment. And I bet it
will happen again when Bronnie Lebron's younger son, Bryce, who's
actually bigger and better than Bronnie, will be in the
league in a couple of years, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, but Lebron is like one hundred years old.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
Lebron is still in peak, peak shape, and it's totally natural,
totally totally natural.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I think this is my favorite story of the day.
As a teen, did you dream of becoming a doctor?
Did you bust into the hospital and put scrubs on
and act like one?

Speaker 7 (06:02):
I can't say I did.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Now, well, Woe in England did just that went into
the hospital. This girl never went to medical school, she's
a teenager, but she put on the outfit and walked
around and called herself. Doctor Christina was seen handling medical
equipment giving a liquid substance to a patience.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Oh my gosh, and nobody thought anything of it.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
And then finally someone's like, uh, where are your credentials?
It took the second time of her going back to
work so to speak to get busted.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
Oh MG, I had one question though, like she did
show up, she did put in a shift, and she
clearly helped a patient.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
She's got to get paid right.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Maybe the number to call to take part in our
twenty seventh Annuel Rock the Harvest is going on now,
so the number to call is eight six six eight
nine oh one two five. You can also go to
Cazyoka dot com slash donate. We are encouraging you to
make a donation of one hundred and two dollars and
fifty cents. Anything helps, more or less, whatever you can
and do, We would just encourage you to donate now. Again,

(07:03):
it's eight six six eight nine oh one O two
five or kzok dot com slash donate. Jerk or justified
is coming up next. Rich is on the phone. He
waited until a guy came back from vacation to fire him.
He's being called a jerk for not doing it beforehand.
What is your opinion here? What Rich has to say next?
Right after Tom Petty on What Outreport? Patkas okay Yeattle's

(07:25):
Classic rock Station one o two twenty.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Five easy Okay, jerk or justified? It's your time to
weigh in and decide eight hundredden two five two one
oh two five jerk or justify?

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Rich and Pew wallup, Good morning, Good morning. What's going
on with you?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Well, here's my scenario.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
I had to fire an employee and I decided to
wait until after their vacation to do it. So for me,
I thought it was a good move. I figured, you know,
they're going to enjoy their trip. I don't want to
put that on them, so it would ruin their trip.
I thought, you know, they're going to be oblivious when
they come home that they have no job. But at least,

(08:12):
you know, hm, they can have a nice vacation before
they have to deal with that.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
And now I'm hearing that it was possibly a jerk move.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
I think I'm justified.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I thought it was like a nice thing.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
To do, so, you know, bring it on.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
What do you guys think?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
All right, what do you guys think eight hundred and
two five two one oh two five Rich waited until
after his employee was done with vacation to fire him.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Is he a jerk? Is he justified? Pull right now?
Eight hundred two five two one o two five. We
will take your.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Calls and give you our opinion after Billy Idle okazy
okay one o.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Two jointy five easy okay, jerk or justified, it's your
time to weigh in and to side. Eight hundred and
two five two one oh two.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Five jerk or justified? Rich and pew wall up. Let's
hear again, what's going on with you?

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Well?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
To summent back up again, I, you know, I needed
to fire an employee and I decided to let them
go on vacation first, unbeknownst to them that they're going
to come back without a job. But I thought it was,
you know, a good thing to do because you can
go on vacation, be carefree and not have that stress.
And then I get some feedback that I'm this is

(09:27):
some jerk move.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
What do you guys think it was justified?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Yeah, Rich, thanks you justified.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
But I think a lot of us are going to
call you a jerk Rich eight hundred two five two
five text nine zero six two seven.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
What do you think? Candy in Monroe? Hey Candy, Hi,
can you hear me? Yeah? What do you think? Jerk
or justified?

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Jerk?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Jerk? That's okay. Candy doesn't even need to explain herself.
She just says jerk.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, all right, Diana import Orchard, what is your opinion?
Rich let his employee go on vacation and fired him afterwards?
Is he a jerk or is he justified? Good morning?

Speaker 4 (10:10):
You know, Rich, I preemptively was going to say you
were justified, and then I thought about it. You're an
absolute jerk because they might have if they would have
known they were going to be fired, they wouldn't at
least have the chance to decide if they wanted to
spend the money that they used on that trip, because
they're going to be broke without a job.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm with Diana.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
I think it's a jerk move because who knows how
much money they spent on that vacation. They might not
have had they known he is unemployed, So I think
I think it's a jerk move. I was about to
call him something worse. Oh, Chuck or Brad and Shelton,
what's your opinion?

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Well, I also think he's a jerk for the exact
same reason.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
You know, money's not always something that we all have
a bunch of.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
What if they were, you know, counting on the.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Income when they got back, you know, to cover part
of their vacation, who knows. I think he was a jerk.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Yeah, man, a lot of people calling you a jerk rich,
But you know who always has had a way in
that's aj In Issequa. He's always kind of like the
the beacon of hope and understanding.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (11:20):
A yeh, Jay, let me tell you Tom, Mike, Look,
you got employees the way you act up?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Why?

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Straight up? Joy?

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Thanks? Aj I all right?

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Looking at the text line nine zero six two seven jerk,
A jerk, A jerk TJ And Everett says, your intentions
were good, but I can't call you a jerk since
your heart was in the right place.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
But it was a jerk move and.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Trucker Tom said, I'm on the fence justified for letting
them have a good time, jerk for letting him have
a VAK where they spend a lot of money where
there's no more money coming in. Oh, we did get
one viking in Lakewood. You are justified. You wanted the
guy to have a good time.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
I'm with that guy, right, I think you know what
it is.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
But it just sounds like a lot of these callers
are like people that are living paycheck to paycheck, which
is fine, and I'm not judging them. I'm just saying,
you know, like this, it's clearly like this the stress
of these people, so they're putting themselves in that scenario.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
So you know, I do, and I'm with him.

Speaker 7 (12:31):
I am with him as someone who signed a four
year contract and then three months later got let go.
And when I got let go, the company was like,
we're not going to give you your weeks of vacation
that are on this contract. The contract is only three
months old at least, Rich, let this guy take his vacation,
have his good time without this albatross hanging over his head.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
All right, Rich, it looks like ninety percent of people
are calling you a jerk. Rich in New York just
texted Justified. Yeah, so I guess you can't shut the
barn door. The animal's already out.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
But never heard that before.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Sorry, justified.

Evergreen Home Loans, Yes, if you missed it, the number

how long have you been with Evergreen Home Loans.

Speaker 8 (16:37):
I've been with the company just over two years. And
great company, like I said, local owned and located in Washington,
and just excited to be part of today and giving
back to our community.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Well, and it is such an important thing to raise
money for Northwest Harvest because the need is so great.
How did you become involved with Northwest Harvest. We've been
doing it for six years.

Speaker 8 (16:58):
In one of our human resea versus represent ves is
very passionate about Northwest Harvest, where, like I said, part
of our vision is to change the world, one relationship

Home Loans, who are one of our partners doing so
much good.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
A huge donation from you guys. Again, we really appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
And you know, there is such a need in our state,
and I think a lot of people don't realize that.
One of the unfortunate sides of this is that it's
children being affected. Absolutely a lot of children, veterans, older
people who are struggling to eat. They can't put food
on the table, you know, it fits prices, they're not
earning enough or they're unable to work with disability, and

(18:12):
it's hitting all the different communities here in Washington and

would they.

Speaker 8 (18:39):
Do that as a company? Yeah, evergreenhome Loans dot com.
The one thing I will say is that a lot
of the people calling in today have used and have
needed Northwest Harvest Wow, and they're giving back. And it's
very emotional when you answer the phone and you're talking
to somebody that is giving the little bit of money
that they're able to save back to the people that
gave to them. And it's it's a great day. It's

(19:00):
a great day for giving. Evergreen believes in an investing
in the community. We ask you all to rally and

(20:01):

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Hawks up next.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
The Bills one oh five here in Seattle on Sunday,
Hell Friday, John Ryan, Seahawks legend, will be joining us
just after eight o'clock to talk about what's in like, what's.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
It gonna look like? Because the Bills not all that
this year?

Speaker 7 (20:19):
Nah?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
All right? The World Series gets underway Friday.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Game one is at five oh eight, and there's a
slight edge that at of saying that they think the
Dodgers are gonna win, but it's a slight odds.

Speaker 7 (20:31):
My money, which I'm not actually betting. I'm going with
the Dodgers. I'm thinking it's a five game series. It's
gonna be quick and the I mean Judge and Gan,
Carlos Stanton and Juan Soto. There's just too much.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Power, too much power. There's too much power. Wait, so
you said the Dodgers, but you're saying there's too much
power for the Yankees.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
You know, Sarah, I realized that in mid sentence and uh,
not making any sense. A go Dodgers. I hate both
these teams, but I hate the Yankees more.

Speaker 7 (20:57):
If you're going Dodgers, and I'm gonna go with the
three guys out of saying I'm going Yankees in five
and switching it up, I like Dan Apples Toots.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
The NBA season got underway last night and history was
made as Lebron and Bronnie took the court together. So
it's the first father son to share the NBA court
in history. And there are a couple famous folks in
the crowd.

Speaker 7 (21:18):
Bro I was watching this entire thing. I watched the
first game with the Celtics, and then I'm watching the
pregame for the Lakers game and I'm looking at the
sideline and I'm seeing Bronnie and lebron I'm like, is
that Ken Griffy Junior and Ken Griffy Senior.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yes, it was.

Speaker 7 (21:33):
I was like, oh man, it was the first time.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
I kind of was like, this is pretty awesome. You know, Yeah,
it was pretty cool to see them.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
And then four of them took a picture, and you know,
so obviously two father sons playing together, which is why
obviously they were there. But it was interesting to me
because Junior is about the same height as Bronnie.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, Bronnie's not tall.

Speaker 7 (21:55):
Bronnie's about six foot one, six foot two. Maybe, yeah,
in the world of basketball, that shows very but you
could tell that like they were posing the risk cameras
everywhere and like the commercial had already been made, like
they were just waiting for Brownie to get in and
score a basket so they could release the commercial with
the Griffies. And then Bronni got in for three minutes
and got it.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
There you go, one rebound, then didn't score.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
The Chiefs are finalizing a deal for DeAndre Hopkins, moving
on over from Tennessee, which is a heck of an
upgrade for DeAndre.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
This is the rich getting richer. This is like the
top point zero zero one percent of the rich getting
just way more money.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Chiefs really did not need that talent either. But I
