Next, why don't you put five? Wanted to put five?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
K's okay, Sarah, it's tied to take a look at
the news brought to you by Core Contractors Remodel Restore.
Remember Core Core Contractors LLC dot com Seahawks news yesterday
they added some depth to cornerback by bringing back a
famous name from the past, Shaquille Griffin one year deal
and you might remember it was him and his brother,

(01:37):
His brother who's missing a hand from a issue from
when he was like three years old. So it was
the twins that played for the Hawks for a while,
and now we are bringing back He has since retired
Shaquille Griffin, though, welcome back to Seattle. You must watch
viral video shows a moment a sheriff's deputy accidentally shoots
his partner in the back with a taser and it

(01:59):
looks so they're trying to make it arrest. It was
a traffic stop and the suspect started running, so the
deputies are struggling with the man to get them into
cuffs when one dude pulls out his taser and missus
shoots his partner, oh Florida suspect ran away. By the way,
news is brought to you by Core Contractors, Remodel Restore.

(02:20):
Remember Core Core Contractors LLC dot com. We'll talk Mariners,
We'll talk what is next for them. It's actually a
day game today. Details and sports next. If there are
one on two point five kzy Okay, time to take
a look at spot. It's brought to you by Bradley
Johnson Lawyers. Facing a dui call one eight hundred d
u y away. Tough loss for the Seattle Mariners yesterday.

a ten ten start time.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Gotta love it morning baseball.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
The Stormer facing the sun tomorrow at seven and the
Hawks have brought back Shaquill Griffin. Love it one year
deal worth three million bucks. American sprinter Chris Robinson is
going viral for all the wrong reasons. He he won
his race. He had two hundred and fifty meters left
to run when his dwig and berries came out. He

(03:09):
was wearing short shorts. His baton went rogue. As some
new sources put it, like I said, he did manage
to win his race.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
This is the video.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Everybody is watching this morning. Maybe watch before you get
to work.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Just a suggestion, what aren't you go?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Fifth?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Kays Okay, Sarah, we are forty minutes social free. Well,
the cost of a Fourth of July barbecue is going up,
according to a new report from Wells Fargo's Food Institute.
He said, food and beverages for a typical Fourth of
July barbecue for ten people will cost one hundred and
thirty bucks this year, which is an increase from last year.
And that's because the price of beef has gone up.

(03:45):
Cost of ground beef has gone up seven percent year
over year.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
You gotta have burgers at barbecue.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Well, you're three minutes away from winning a grand buy
a lot of beef. Here the keyboard to enter at
kzok dot com.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
You can win.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Next it's Sarah, we are forty minutes commercial free, and next.
NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick joins the show. He's
going to talk about Saturday's race at Evergreen Speedway against
his son.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Kielan, who by the way, is twelve. Don't miss it.
That's next. Went five K's okay, we have a big.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Event happening at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe on Saturday. NASCAR
legend Kevin Harvick joins the show now with the details.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Good morning, Kevin, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
We are always excited for races at Evergreens Speedway. It's
round two of the Harvick Showdown happening on Saturday. So
for people who aren't familiar, tell us what's happening, and
more importantly, who you are racing.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
We're excited and we're coming back for the second round
of the little Harvick Showdown between myself and my son
racing against each other. We've done this one time in Bakersfield, California,
a couple of weeks ago. He actually finished first. I
don't know that he was the fastest by any means,
but that doesn't really matter in the results.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Your son, who you are racing, who you said came
in first, is twelve years old.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
He is twelve. Yes, yes, he's quen. You know, he
has grown up around the sport since the day he
was born. He sat on pit boxes. He's been behind
the wheel of go karts all around the world and
has probably more experience at twelve than I had when
I was at twenty. You know, our primary focus right
now is you know, to get him experience, but also

(05:25):
a major push towards building the grassroots level of you know,
asphalt short track racing again and Evergreen Speedway and in Monroe, Washington,
there has been just a staple of that grassroots system
for a long time.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
The event is on Saturday and tickets are available now.
Kevin Harvick, do people give you crap for letting your
twelve year old drive?

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yes, absolutely, because a lot of people just you know,
they think about driving on the road and they think
about driving a race car fast in racing has become
much like other sports with the development systems and the
way that kids in today's racing world can that on
the simulator. It was not like that when I was

(06:08):
a kid. You could not walk into the infield of
a racetrack until you were sixteen years old, let alone
drive the car.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Now you've raised a lot of different vehicles. What do
you like to drive in your day to day life?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah, I drive a Chevrolet pickup, so nothing too fancy.
All the fancy cars that I've ever had in my
life just sit in the garage collect dust and every
time I go to get in, then the battery is dead.
So I learned a long time ago that fancy cars
weren't really for me. And now I have a seven
year old little girl and a twelve year old son

(06:42):
that throw things all over the floor of my car.
So you don't want anything too fancy that you're worried
about getting tore up. And all the people who have
kids fully understand what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour is your podcast found on our
free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Tell us about that.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I do the NASCAR on Fox from the booth and
the Pods. Is kind of our weekly show to get
the news out to the fans. We have a lot
of great guests, a lot of people in the racing
community that show up on the podcast every week.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Well, we've got Kevin Harvick appearing at Evergreen Speedway.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
It's Saturday.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
He is going to be racing his rising star son
Keelan and you don't want to miss this. Tickets are
available now. Kevin Harvick, thank you so much for joining us.
It's been a pleasure.

everybody knows Dorrito's, but now the two have teamed up.

(07:55):
It's a new meat stick and it's made with cool ranch.
In stead of beef, it's made with chicken. So it's
a new meat stick. Doritos and Jack Links. People are
saying it's delicious. So now you just got to hope
it's at like fred Meyer QFC or Safeway, and I
will stop saying meat stick. A New Jersey lifeguard has

(08:15):
survived being impaled by a six foot beach umbrella yesterday
at Asbury Park Beach.

Speaker 2 (08:21):

Speaker 3 (08:22):

of her back. They think she is twenty years old.

kangaroos and identical twins Jony and c Tach.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Dead leaves, Sarah.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
I think it goes back to being a kid and
