Travis Mills was on a routine mission checking for land mines in Afghanistan. Tragically, when he placed his backpack on the ground and an IED exploded. He immediately suffered traumatic critical injuries. He became a casualty of war, losing both legs and arms, becoming only one of five quadruple amputees to survive. But his story isn’t about the trauma he experienced. No, it’s how he has thrived and inspired millions of people around the world, sharing a message to “never give up.”
