Speaker 1 (00:00):
Leaf pickup begins today in the City of Lima. Beginning today,
Cruise will be collecting raked leaves from curb lawns in
the first, fourth, fifth, and sixth wards. Collections in the second, third,
and seventh wards will follow as crews complete each section.
Residents are asked to rake and pile leaves on the
curb lawn not in the street. Also, you should remove

(00:21):
all debris from the leaf piles. Citizens can also collect
leaves and bag them and put them out with their
regular trash pickup. Leaf bags are available at no cost
to city residents at the city facility at nine hundred
South Kollett Street. Large amounts of tree and leaf debris
may be taken to the compost facility on East Hanthorne Road. Friday,

(00:42):
it was announced that Amazon will be investing in a
new delivery station in Lima. It will be located on
Jaybeg Parkway and Shawnee Township. According to Amazon, the new
delivery station will help power the last mile of Amazon's
fulfillment process by enabling fast, everyday delivery directly to the
customer's doorstep. Packages are transported to delivery stations from Amazon

(01:04):
Fulfillment and Sortation centers that employees process customer packages for
last mild delivery. It has been reported the new facility
would create up to thirty jobs. Turning to news from
the state House, the General Assembly is working on a
new law to regulate drone usage by police in the state.

(01:24):
We get this report with iHeartRadio's Travis Laird.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
The Ohio House has passed a bill that would require
police to get a warrant before using drones for surveillance.
Supporters say drones can fly lower, quieter, and collect more
data than manned aircraft, so Fourth Amendment protections need to
keep up. The bill bans weaponized drones and makes most
drone data a public record, though the ACLU warns that

(01:52):
could create privacy risks. It also allows some warrantless use,
like natural disasters and car crashes, but civil liberties groups
oppose a provision letting police fly drones within fifty miles
of a national border to deter immigration or smuggling. The
measure now heads to the Senate. I'm Travis Laird.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
It's estimated that almost one million Ohioans have medical debt,
and new bipartisan legislation at the state House could ease
some of the problems associated with carrying that debt. The
bill would prohibit medical debt from appearing on credit reports,
ban wage garnishments, and cap interest at three percent, down
from the current eight percent. Lawmakers say the bill does

(02:33):
face opposition, mostly from debt collectors and A United Airlines
flight from Dallas to Chicago was forced to make an
emergency landing yesterday. Fox's Ted Lindner explains why.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
The emergency landing happening after a passenger claimed there was
a bomb in his wife's luggage. It turned out to
be a hoax bomb and arson teams descended on the
plane after the unscheduled landing at Saint Louis's Lambert International
Airport and search the Boeing seven thirty seven for two hours.
The man at the center of the hoax was arrested,
his identity not yet public. The flight then took off

(03:06):
from Saint Louis in the afternoon and landed safely in Chicago.
The incident comes after multiple bomb threats of spark chaos
a board flights in recent weeks. Ted Lindner, Fox News.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Meanwhile, the FAA is lifting its flight reduction order at
airports nationwide starting this morning. A reduction in flights at
forty major airports began a week ago to help address
fatigue and staffing issues among air traffic controllers during the
government shutdown. The decision led to thousands of flights being
delayed and canceled, but now just ahead of the Thanksgiving

(03:40):
travel season, the flight reduction order has been lifted. And
there was a bit of embarrassment in Findlay with a
new sign near I seventy five that misspelled the city's name.
It had an E instead of an A. The signs
were put up as replacements of part of the I
seventy five County Road ninety nine project. Findley Mayor Christina
Merron posted on social media saying that ODAT was responsible

(04:03):
for the sign and they are actively working to fix it.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
