Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey.
We're back with second date, up date.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Y'alls, it's our dating segments. Yep.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
This is where we talked to you about a date
you went on and try to figure out how to
get you another one. Maybe you're having some trouble getting
your person on the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Let's talk to Eric Eric. Hello, Hello, good morning. How
are you good?

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Good? How are you go?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good? But good?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
We want to get right to it, man, So do
we want to help you out here? Tell us about Pam.
First of all, how did you guys meet?

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Yeah, so Fam and I met on Hinge and yeah,
we hit it off on the app and things were
moving well enough that we decided to meet up. So
on our profile she says that she likes long walks
from the beach, and I thought it'd be clever, and
so I said, hey, why don't we go to Bigger
Beach for our date? For a first one?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Eric knows the assignment. That's cute, and.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
So we went to Bigger Beach and it was great.
We had really easy conversation. Pam was talking about how
she really wanted to go to Iceland, and I was
talking about how I want to go to Kyoto in
the fall. Like really nice conversations. We chatted about books.
Sounds very very yeah, yeah, I mean it was. It

(01:14):
was a good chest though. We had a great time.
From my point of view, I genuinely don't know why
she's just ghosted.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
So, Okay, Corey, here's what I think.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
She's in the city and she parks her car in
a public garage. The valets taking on joy ride and
she's still waiting for them to burn her car back.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Is this Fairest Bueller's day off? Maybe? You know, I
feel like I got that one. Eric has no idea
what to do here. It's all right, it could be
the case.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Here goes.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I mean, this sounds cute though, it really does. So
here's what we're going to do. You know this already
because you've been listening for a while. But we're going
to call Pam with you on the phone, and we're
going to see how it went for her. Ultimately, would
love to score you a second day, but like, if
you've got a couple of minutes, we're gonna play a song.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
We'll call her.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Okay, okay, all fingers crossed, hang on the line.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
We'll do it next.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Second date updates Star one oh one three, Well variety
from the two thousands, the nineties, and today Star one
on one three. It's Marcus and Corey. We are in
the middle of second date update. We've got Eric on
the phone and he went out with Pam. They met
on Hinge. Super cute in her profile and I quote
love long walks on the beach.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
So what does he do? Corey takes her to a beach,
takes her to Baker Beach. Well played, Eric, you're still
there here? Okay he was. He was already muted out.
I do that every time. Sorry, every single time. Okay,
go ahead and mute.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
We're gonna call her because I'd love to see if
we can score you a second date and try to
figure out why she ghosted.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Okay, so here we go. Hello, Hi, makes meak with Pam. Please?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
This is Pam.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Hi, Pam.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
It's Marcus and Corey from Star one O one three.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Pam is legit working right now, I guarantee it.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Hey, Yes, I am working. Hi.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Do you listen to our morning show? By chance?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I listened to one on one three, but I'm more
of a music gal. I don't really listen to the
morning show.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Doesn't like all the yapping.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
You were delightful.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
I mean your voices sound familiar.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I'll take that.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
So we're doing our dating segment called Second Date Update,
and someone called us about a date you went on,
and we were wondering if you wouldn't mind being on
the air with us to talk about this date.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
There's a gentleman who thinks you're great, would love to
take you out again, knows that you like long walks
on the beach.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
His name is okay, why not? His name is Eric?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Yep. I figured that this was about Eric. Well, he's
a really nice guy, and you know, I understand the
weather was super warm that day, so you gotta.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Do it, gotta do?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Should we get a second day to what?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I just don't think? So?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Okay? Why?

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Well?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
He was.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
He was wearing these like just incredibly super short hoochi
daddy shorts.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
What are hoochi daddy shorts?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Those are the ones that are like, think uh like
Jim in the seven Oh God like tight yes, the
magnum p I think, like just plump smugglers.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
I don't know how else that's a great way to
put it.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Really quite a vision, thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
So short, so tight. I cannot emphasize the tight enough.
I like, he just needs to leave something to the imagination.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So what are you saying this is a turnoff? Or
I think so?

Speaker 4 (04:49):
It was just a lot on a first date and
it's in public. I mean, it was like very out
there right okay face.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Out of respect for the fact that you don't listen
in the morning, let me explain second date update. The
other part of it is that Eric is actually listening
right now, and so we're learning things together.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
So let's bring Eric on.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Eric.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Say hi Eric, pam.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Uh Yeah, I'm actually pretty shocked that the shorts were
the turn off, wow.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Because there's a half dozen other things that should have
been or what, I don't know, what do you think?

Speaker 5 (05:25):
No, No, I just like that's the thing that that
is the no goo for a second date. I'm a
little bit surprised, like they were they were shorts, though,
I'm just trying to stay cool, you know, I get that.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I get that, just like the choice of that for
our first date. It was just a lot. I was
just seeing a lot more than I was expecting.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
To see.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I mean real talk, Eric, you could see how this
could be overwhelming for somebody.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
No, if they don't know you, I don't.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Think they're truly confused. Really, I think that I think
that everybody should. Yeah, I think that everybody should be
able to wear shorter clothing whenever it's hot outside without
any Tell me you.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Have tell me you have a boar at bathing suit.
Please just make my day.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
I wish I could tell you that. I I don't.
Actually that's crazy, Like I'm not. I'm not walking around
here like straight up banana hammock. I'm out here just
in my booty shorts.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Booty shorts.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
You enjoy the sunuci Daddy's if you will. But he
said booty shorts.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Is that they do make the booty pop? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Okay, what is happening?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
All right?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
So Pam, bottom line is this is this something you
can overlook?

Speaker 4 (06:43):
No, I mean not only can I not overlook it.
I don't think I'm ever going to get that image.
I think he needs I can see it. I think
he needs to be careful.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
You might get a yeast infection. You need to have
some air down there. Wow, plenty of air. Plenty of air, going,
and you're welcome for the image that is forever in
your head because it's a good one.
