Mark called about Elise saying she’s classy, funny, and full of laughs. They bonded over favorite movies, swapped quotes, and even dreamed about escaping the work grind with a weekend getaway. Sparks were definitely flying so why did she ghost?

We got into talked about movies that we both loved.

We were quoting them for a second.

She said her favorite movie quote is just keep swimming

Okay, And isn't that more of a bumper sticker?

It's good life advice?

But I know I like the classics, like you know, life,
select a box of chocolates, you know, sure, the Forrest Gump,
that one.

I don't keep up on the movies. It's not that
I don't watch movies. I just can't ever remember anything,
So I'm the worst person to do movie quotes with.
But I know the box of chocolates one, that's easy.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
It was fine. We were having a good time and
we were both talking about how we needed to just
get out of town. You know, work has been really
tough on both of us recently, and I swear she
said she wanted to go on a weekend trip with
me someday. So I feel like we were talking future plans.
So this kind of makes it weird that she's ghosted.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Huh. Yeah, I have no idea what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
We're gonna call her, so get yourself emotionally ready. We're
gonna we're gonna play a song and then we will
give her a shout. Obviously, will have you muted so
you can hear what she says. Okay, on second date update,
we're chatting with Mark. We were learning all about his
date with at least Aaron Walnut Creek. Y'all love to
quote movies. I would have to excuse myself from the table.
That's fine, it's not my date, it's yours.

Mark. Are you's still there?

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Yeah?

Yeah, all right? Perfect.

It's a little weird, but I'm out here Dayton, so
I thought it might happen eventually.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Great. So a gentleman has called about you. His name
is Mark, and right he's.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
So he's listening already, he is?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
He is Mark? Are you there?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah? Hot? So Alise.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
He he really enjoyed hanging out with you. Would love
to go out again. Quote some more movies. I guess
I just asked, did you ghost?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Uh? I wouldn't say I ghosted. I just didn't really
want to go out again. Okay, it was a nice date.
I was excited to go out with someone who liked to,
you know, watch movies and seem to have some other
interests that were similar to me. He's a pretty good
looking guy, got a good sense of humor.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Did something go wrong?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Well, we kind of took like a hard left because
the server was like, oh, hey, good to see you again.
Were you here last night?

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Talking to him?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah, and he had been there the night before on
a date with a friend of mine.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Oh wait, hold on, didn't.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
So like he didn't even like put in the effort
to go to a different restaurant with a new person.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
How did you know that it was a friend of yours.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Well, he started telling me a little bit about this
other date and I was like, wait, are you talking
about Hannah? And he was like, oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
So that's the most bizarre thing I've ever heard. Okay,
so he went out with your friend the night before
at the same restaurant. Yeah, okay, Mark back to you.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, first of all, I don't think this is that insane.
I was just going on dates. I like dinner, I
like that restaurant. You know, it's easier for me if
I just have everybody go to the same location. I
don't have to think about it. Uh, I don't think
it's that weird. Just so it happened to be your friend.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
You know that's you know, well you can explore. I
just don't need to be a part of like a
circular dating pattern like I and and you know, it's
like easier for me. You don't have to put any
effort like I want someone to put in a little effort.
I would rather try somewhere new that someone else has
also not been to whatever.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I don't know if you knew that restaurant or not.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
They could be new to you.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I just know I like it. There's a lot of
different things in the menu I can get. It's you know,
what's wrong with going to the same place.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
I mean, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
At least you guys sound cute together on the phone,
sort of Mini arguing I'm not gonna lie.

No, he's also like he went out with my friend
as well. I don't know what they got up to.
