Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, you all know Mirror James Merray from Impractical Jokers.
He's the guy who's usually out in front and then
the other people are either off camera or in a
back room and telling him what to say. Here's an
example of mirror. One time he was out in the
park and you had do you remember this?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Tell me.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
He had a loud speaker, he had a bullboard, and
they were actually saying the words. He had to pretend
like he was saying them as people went by. A
lone protester all by himself.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
You American making me sick country like you.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I'm sweating out here, gosh, gosh, I remember that.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
You think somebody was going to attack you with?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Of course, man, because I love America.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Just for the record, I love America. Man. What was
the most.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Dangerous time you thought when you were out there? Well,
you thought you were actually in some type of danger.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I mean, I've gotten hit.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I've gotten swung at several times on the show, but
I was I'm the only one that's gotten hit. There's
one time I was shopping in a discount store. Next
to it this very large man and they had me
hold up the biggest, biggest brawl you've ever.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Seen in your life in front of him.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
And when he asked me what why I was doing it,
I had to tell him that he was about the
same size as my wife, and I wondered fitter. And
he did not take kindly to it, and he whacked
me in the face with his self. Well give me
a black.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Eye, oh man. And then the other the I.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Mean two months ago on TV another guy took a
swing but he missed because I had to get caught
peeing on his car when he came out.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Of a store. And it was fake.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
It was like a rig they did, you know, devised
up this device and uh. And he caught me and
he says, if you keep peen on, mccarnem gonna take
a swing at you.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And he did and he missed. I was too quick
for him.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Man, it's great television, but for you, it's not very good.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's not fun at all.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
No.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I live in fear my whole life.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So you're like, you have your eye with a stake
on it or something like in the cartoons and they
say to.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
It, that was great, that was exactly right. But now
you have this comedy tour.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, I'm on tour locally next weekend, on Friday May sixteenth,
I'm performing in Long Island at the Huntington at the
Paramount rather in Huntingdon, what great venue. And then on
June twenty ninth, I'm in Red Bank at the count
Basie Theater for the Arts.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Its great venue too. So this is regular stand up.
It's much different than in practical joke. It is both.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It's the first half of stand up and the second
half is is improv like I make it up as
we go, and truly I don't know what's going to
happen because the second half of the show, I play
impractical jokers live, meaning I choose someone from the audience
put an earpiece in their ear. I'll send mountains to
the streets of Long Island or Red Bank, New Jersey,
and we watch on screen in the theater, live on

(03:00):
the spot. They've got to do and say what I
tell them to. It is outrageously fun.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
That is so great. What a tremendous idea he was.
Sometimes the police get called.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Truly, So we we were on tour a few weeks
ago in Raleigh, h North Carolina, and UH and I
sent my buddy out. We had two shows that and
I sent him out. He's acting crazy in public. It
was hysterical. They're filming, is being beamed into the theater, right,
There's like a thousand people watching. And then we had
a second show that night, and unbeknownst to us, the

(03:30):
police got called by like four different people in the
public that didn't know it was part of the comedy show.
They just saw this guy acting crazy, so they called
the cops. So, unbeknown to us, we sent him out
for the second show. The police are waiting for this
guy to start acting crazy and they pounce on him,
and not knowing that my cousin filming him is being
beamed into a comedy club, right, And so the cops

(03:50):
are there, not knowing I'm in my friend's ear. And
so the cops say to him on camera, there's a
thousand people watching. They said, if you say another word,
we're going to arrest you. And so I said, I
said to my I said, McLean, say to the cops,
do you know where you can find some good d
in this town?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
You know the word. I can't stay on the radio
any good Richard in this town. You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
And he does, and the and the the theater goes crazy.
They're laughing hysterically, not annoys me, and the cops did
not arrest him, and they said it was murphrom and
practical jokers. So the cops came into the theater and
the audist went crazy when the cops walked in.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
This great one.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Wow, what an experience that's like no other. I would
love to go see that show. How can people get tickets?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I'll get your tickets at murrlive dot com or go
to the theater the website for the count Basie or
for the Paramount and.

Speaker 1 (04:37):

R m you r R double r m u r
R live dot tickets.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
