Episode ten of the Strawberry and LazetteMexican Ginger podcast. Lazette snuck off and
had mouth surgery that she never researched. And I have an update on the
assault that I talked about in thelast podcast. All that and more coming
up next. It's podcast time. It's the Strawberry and Lisette Mexican Ginger podcast.
Not suitable for a younger audience.I have an update on the assaults

(00:24):
that I witnessed we talked about inthe last podcast. Huge and assault update.
But we should probably lead with thefact that you're doing this podcast fresh
out of surgery. Yeah, likeyou just had surgery and now you're here,
like fresh out of La Pinta foryour mouth. So you had a
root canal and you didn't want anybodyknowing about it because you didn't want us

(00:45):
to talk about it or psych youout or get you nervous or well go
into the procedure. I just feelit was half of that and the other
half because it's the podcast and beingcompletely honest. Yeah, and not to
offend anyone, but I feel likeroot canal sounds like you don't take care
of your teeth and like you're dirty. Or something like ill, like your

(01:06):
teeth were that bad you need aroot canal. Now, hmmm, I
don't. I don't feel that way. Maybe nobody else ever thought of it
that way, but that's how that'show I feel about it, because because
for ten years I didn't take careof my teeth, Like I didn't go
to the dentist for a really longtime. Of course, I like did
what you're supposed to do at home, but I moved around so much and
I didn't have a lot of money, and so like my son had his

(01:30):
dentists, he had his doctor,he had what he needed, and then
I just didn't feel like doing itfor myself. So for about ten years
I did not see a dentist. And then when I finally did go see
a dentist, they were like, sho, you got nine cavities. You
got these two right here and notlooking too good. You might you need
a root canal. And so it'sjust it just was like I didn't want

(01:53):
I felt like I was going tobe judged like my teeth were disgusting or
something. Self conscious. I totallyget that, And also I didn't want
people calling in to tell me abouttheir horrible root canal experiences because I already
was so scared. Yeah, Ididn't know what a root canal actually entailed,
but they explained it to me kindof and one time. It was

(02:15):
a while ago, so I don'tremember the procedure, but I did watch
like an animated video of a rootcanal, and I remember watching it being
like, oh, look, thatdoesn't look good. And so I remember
I watched it and I didn't havemy appointment yet or anything, but I
knew I had to get one,and I like freaked myself out. So

(02:37):
I just didn't want people in myear because I already was like so scared.
Yeah, so I wanted to talkabout on the radio because I would
have been great having people call inlike, oh my god. Yeah,
I didn't want I didn't want that, right. And but now that I've
already had it done it over with, I will say I'm surprised that it's

(02:59):
not as bad as I thought itwas going to be. I had a
really bad cavity fill experience where Icould feel like them doing it like the
the I don't know, I forget, I forget what tooth it was,
but it was like they kept hittinglike my nerve or something like that,
and oh it hurts so bad.So every time I get work done on

(03:21):
my teeth, I just have likePTSD from that time, and I'm always
really scared and paranoid that like thenumbing is not gonna work, or it's
not gonna work well enough, orit's gonna wear off, which is exactly
what fucking happened today. We startedstarving. So you go in what times,
Like it is a nine am appointment, It was a ten forty five
appointment, Okay, I go in. I took I took some Elien.

(03:46):
It's one of those two. It'slike an herbalistic thing that it's an amino
acid reduces your stress. Yeah, relax. I've been having a lot of
anxiety lately, not because of this, but because I knew that was this
was making me nervous. I tooksome this morning so that I could try
to like relax. I get there, sign in, sign all the paperwork

(04:11):
so expensive, by the way,put it put a dent and I'm not
gonna lie. I forgot I hadthis appointment today because I spent so much
money in Vegas that if I wouldhave remembered, like, oh I have
to pay for this root canal,I probably would not have spent as much
as I did, right, butyou know whatever, no regrets, no
regrets. So get there, walkto the little room or whatever, and

(04:36):
the doctor walks in and he's like, first of the lady's like sitting me
down. She's putting like the bibon me and stuff, and she's like,
oh, the doctor's gonna be aminute. You can use a restroom
if you need to. And I'mlike, oh no, I'm okay,
already went the minute the doctor walksin, Like my hand, my palms
get sweaty and like my throat isdry, and I'm and I'm already in

(04:58):
my head like oh my god, like what if Like my throat is like
so parched. You know, whenyour mouth is dry, You're constantly trying
to swallow saliva and clear your throatand it's uncomfortable. Yeah. So the
doctor is like, hi, feelingtoday, and I was like really scared,
like a dead in the dead inhis face, I'm so scared right
now, and he kind of likelaughs it off like like you'll you'll be

(05:23):
fine, like don't worry. Andthe nurse leans in and she's like I
was like I'm just scared, likeyou know, it's gonna hurt or I'm
gonna feel it. And she's like, she's like, he's really good.
You're not gonna feel a thing.And he'll he'll, you know, check
if you can feel stuff. We'llask if you're okay. I'm like all
right. So he numbs me upand he's like, you might feel your

(05:47):
throat get a little numb, likeit's normal, don't worry about it.
And then I start freaking out again. I'm like, oh my god,
like my throats, I could feellike half of my throats start getting numb,
and I'm like, oh my god, like this is gonna this is
gonna make me feel like I'm chokingor like i can't breathe, Like this
is so bad. It's already goingso bad. And he numbs me up,

(06:10):
and then he was like, allright, we're gonna do a test.
I'm just gonna do a cold test. Have you ever had that done
before? No? He took likea I've had this done once before when
I went for a consult. Thiswas in Washington. I went for a
consult and they took like a littleI think it was like a little piece

(06:30):
of cotton or something like that, and they sprayed you know, like a
keyboard duster spray, you know, not when you sprayed upside down like that
stuff comes down. It's really reallycold Nitroso side, isn't it? I
don't know? Okay, isn't it? Isn't laughing gas? Right, you're
right, it's some sort of compressedair. I forget what it's. You
know what I'm talking about, right, You've ever like played with one and
sprayed it upside down and the coldship comes out. He basically sprays that

(06:56):
on like a little piece of cottonor something, and then takes it and
sticks it onto your tooth. Andwhat he was doing when they did it
in the consult, they basically putit directly like inside where my cavity was,
inside my tooth. If you canfeel it, to see if I
could, if I could feel it, if if my nerve was okay,

(07:17):
which I get that you have todo, but it was like it hurt
so bad, and they had todo it on both sides. So I
had it done twice, and thenwhen I went to this consult, he
tried to do it again, andI was like, I've already had that
done. I can feel it.It works, the nerves is working.
I've already had it done. Andhe was like, he's like, okay,

(07:39):
well, we don't have to doit again if you don't want to.
And I was like, no,I don't want I don't want to.
That's my body, my choice. And so he numbed me up and
then did the cold test on thetooth and I like, oooh my my
cheeks were clips so tight. I'mlike, oh my god, because I
know in my brain with this feelslike yeah. I'm like, oh my

(08:01):
god. But he put it onthere and I'm like anticipating to feel like
the slightest bit of something like herecomes, here it comes, and nothing
good. So I was like, okay, cool, I can't feel that.
Start operating duck. So yeah,he gets he gets started with the
drills and the I don't know,it was like it looked like little picks

(08:22):
or something. You. I wasgonna say, so your eyes are open,
you watch. I couldn't see normally. I don't know if this is
weird, but normally, like withthe lamp that they use in your mouth,
you can see reflection. So normallysometimes I can see a little bit
and I do watch anytime I've hada cavity or an extraction. I mean
this goes back to when I pulled. Oh yeah, of course that's not

(08:43):
a common thing. I've never hadteeth pulled. No, no, I
had him pulled. I think likebefore I got braces or something, I
had a bunch of teeth pulled. But anyway, anytime I had like some
sort of oral surgery thing, eyesare closed, eyes are closed. I
had a nose like they fixed mynose once when I got it broken.
I think I watch because it wasreally quick close my eyes when I throw
up. Yeah, I don't wantto see that either. It don't make

(09:05):
me throw up more. I don'twant to watch that. Yeah, I
don't want to watch. I usedto be able to keep my eyes open
when I was younger, when Iwas smaller, Like I only really throw
up when I'm drunk. And Iused to be able to keep my eyes
open and to see, like whatit looks like and like what color it
was, because then I would goback and tell people keep that as a
surprise. And yeah, and nowand now I keep my eyes closed and

(09:28):
I don't open my eyes until thetoilet is done. Flushing like, I'm
with you, that's my move. It's an old thing. So you're watching
this, dude, I can't seewhat he's doing, but my eyes are
open so I can see. I'mlike looking at what he's grabbing, and
I can see what drills he's usingand the little like cleaners and picks.
Oh yeah, I was watching everything. I almost wanted to like, if

(09:50):
I could talk more, I wouldhave asked if I could like take a
picture WHOA like I wish? Iwas thinking, I wish someone was here
so that they can record this becauseI want to see what's happening. I
don't want to see that at all. I don't want to see it.
But but yeah, the whole thingtook about two hours. Oh hell no,

(10:11):
I actually was like sleepy, fallingasleep at one point. Did they
give you any gap? Did youhave gas on your nose? No?
Do they inject anything? No?You were there numb. I couldn't.
I did have an option to belike put to sleep if I wanted.
Hell yes, but I don't haveanyone to take care of me after how

(10:31):
it picked you up. Just driveyou home or drive you to the stay.
You weren't even here this morning youwere and you were you were city,
but you didn't know that when youmade the announcement. I mean the
appointment announcement, but pregnancy announcement, all right, special podcast special podcasts,
A big announcement. Oh yeah, put me out everything from what I hear
about Route canal put me out.Yeah, I was. I did consider,

(10:56):
but it is extra stuff you haveto pay for. And then on
top of that, like I didn'thave anyone here to drive me there to
drive me home, and like Idon't know. I like, obviously I
I'm not completely like Solo Dolo outhere. I have people I could ask,
but for something like this, Ifeel like I'm just like, it's
not like I'm having a major surgery, you know, I feel like I'm

(11:18):
inconveniencing people. Rou can ow ispretty major, if you ask me.
I don't. I've never had one. But there's this dentist I keep going
to. He's like, we're gonnakeep a look at this one. We're
gonna keep a look at this youmight need one. He keeps saying,
like, you know, I'm justwe're gonna keep an eye on this one.
And I'm like, all right,I think it's a it's for a
crown. I don't think it's fora rou He mentioned roue canal once,

(11:41):
but root canals is it different thana crown? Yes. Root canals is
when you have had a cavity thathas not been taken care of and it's
gotten so deep that it's like almostgetting to the root. I think.
I'm like, Okay, maybe that'snot what he's threatening me with. I
think he's I mean, we witha crown. A crown is just like

(12:01):
a cap, isn't it. Idon't know, the cap on the tooth,
I think. But yeah, Sowe get to the end, and
I didn't want to be that personthat kept like putting my phone up like
doing stuff. But every time theylike left my face, they left my
mouth, and he was like gettinga different tool or something. I'm kind

(12:24):
of like speaking my phone up likefuck, it's only eleven fifteen, Like
how much longer it's gonna be?Like, because I was getting tired,
of course, And so he theydo like a I don't know, uh,
dance chance, No, he likeit looks like these I don't even

(12:45):
know what I don't know what theyare. They look like these little metal
Pinsky that he kept like sticking inmy tooth or something. I don't know
what he was doing or what theywere for or if that's even when I
was seeing, but he was doingthat. And then he got a pick
and he started like scraping, andhe scraped and then I jumped, oh

(13:05):
you felt it? Then it hitthe nerve and he goes, oh shit.
Well he didn't say that. No, no, no, no,
he didn't say that, but Icould tell because he froze. He stopped,
and he goes, did you feelthat? And I was like,
uh huh. He goes, okay, I think the anesthetic is is wearing
off. Yeah, and then hesays, don't worry. I'm almost done

(13:28):
and I'm done with that party.Good, so I'm not going to go
back in there. And I waslike, uh huh, because now I'm
freaking out again, like the ship'swearing all exactly, like how much time
do we have left? Doctor? How much time do I have? I'm
getting scared because I could even feela long time a while before that even

(13:48):
happened. I could feel the pressurefrom the clamp that they had on my
tooth, so I could feel it, like because that's those those teeth back
there, mine anyways, are reallysmall, okay, so they have to
really jam it in there around mytooth. So I know, like it's

(14:09):
that that ship is in my gum. There's something going on, like that's
why, that's why it hurts sobad, and that's why I'm like so
sore right now. That shit isin my gums, just like the clamp
around the tooth. So the minuteI realized I could start feeling that,
I was like, I think thenumbing's wearing off. It's what I do.
But I couldn't feel the drilling,so I'm like, I think I'm

(14:30):
okay, But then I felt that. I was like this is We're like,
come on, let's speed this uphere. He was like, don't
worry, I'm almost done. I'mgonna like you know, we're gonna we're
gonna fill it next. And Iwas like okay. So every every single
little thing he did after that, are you okay? Can you feel that?
Can you feel that? I'm like, uh, and in my hand,
just hurry the fuck up, likehurry up. So he feels it.

(14:54):
They dry it, they take thething off, and the nurse,
not the nurse, the dental assistantor the lady that you know, the
lady of the hands are the toolsor whatever. They have to take an
X ray to make sure that theygot everything and that the filling is there
and everything looks everything looks good.So normally they stick that thing in your

(15:16):
mouth that you bite and then theytake the picture. But because I had
the clamp around my tooth and Ihad like this big like dental damn over
my mouth and stuff, they couldn'tput anything in my mouth. So she
just had like the back of theX ray plastic plastic thing and it was
just on a clamp and she wastrying to position and she's like, I'm

(15:37):
gonna need your help here, likeI'm going to position this where I need
it and I just need you tohold it. I'm like all right,
So I hold the clamp and shestarts trying to move it around, and
the root canal was on my farfar back moler right like way in the
back. So she shoves this thingdown my throat and I'm and I'm the

(15:58):
one holding the clamp, so Ipull it out. I pull it away
and I'm going too far and shegoes she goes, Okay, hold on
let me try again, let mereposition. So she puts it back in
there, and I again like slapher hand out of the way, like,
no, it's not gonna go there, We like, not right now?
And is whats like on a date? By the ways, that's not

(16:23):
gonna go there? No right now? And and so she she thinks that
it's not going where it needs togo because my tongue is in the way,
sure right, So she tries tomove. She tries to put it
in my mouth again, and shetries to move my tongue with the the
tongues the clamp, and I'm tellingher I can't talk because I have all

(16:48):
the ship in my mouth. There'sa puddle of saliva in the back of
my throat that I'm using my tongueto keep it from going down my throat.
And I don't think she realizes that. So she's trying to move my
tongue out of the way, andI'm like, itch, if you I'm
going to drown if you don't stopthirty seconds. Dentists and hygienis every thirty
seconds hit him with the straw.I don't care if it's a cleaning,

(17:08):
if it's a root can't to goin everything They did suck my spit out
the entire time they were doing theroot canal. Oh hell no, they
just want you to swallow it.I couldn't swallow it. Yeah, yeah,
especially not laying down. Every thirtyseconds. Dentists get that straw on
there, and so I'm telling her, like I pull it out again,

(17:30):
and I'm saying it's not gonna go. This is why I sound like Congo
lago a congo lago right, andsay I can't go back there. And
then the dentist walks in and shelooks up at him and she kind of
like nervous laughs, and she's likeI need to help. She like barely
spoke English, and and the Isaw the dentist was behind me, and
I'm like, I'm gonna cut upand up. I'm saying I need to

(17:55):
sit up. And once I saidthat, she goes, okay, let's
try again. This bitch shoves itin my mouth again and again I slap
it out of her hands and Iagain say up, and I'm even like
gesturing my whole body like sit meup right right and then we can do

(18:18):
this. And the dentist says, you need to sit up, and I,
oh, yeah, yeah, sitme up. And so I'm waiting
for her to sit me up.She's still not sitting me up. The
dentist comes over and starts sitting meup, and then it was all good
after that, like the the sthe spit. Because I was sitting up,

(18:45):
I was able to then swallow it. You might have a swallow space,
I do. I just I knowthat feeling in the dentist. You're
saving it, you're saving it,You're waiting for the straw straws and comes
You're like, all right, it'sgoing down the throat and it's just like
a big It's like a gulp ofspite. I was a it was a
lot of it. But yeah,I was finally able to swallow it.
And then I'm like, all right, lady, like move my tongue wherever

(19:06):
you want, Like we're good.Now. She's making me so mad.
I have rapid fire questions about yourroot canal. First off, rooting number
two T is on the way.You have to go for another root canal?
Right, yes, I have toschedule another root canal. I actually
so this one that I just gotdone is actually not even finished. What

(19:30):
excuse me. Sorry, that's theroot canal talking over there. So the
root canal itself is done. Inow need to go to my dentist.
And the filling that the this dentistjust put in in my root canal is
only temporary. So my real dentistnow needs to remove that filling, put

(19:51):
in a permanent filling and cap itwith the crown, and then this tooth
will be done. Who full toothis there? To they take the tooth
out and they're gonna put a faketooth in. No, my full tooth
is there? Okay, well halfof it this tooth because this tooth had
broke, that's what it is alreadya while ago. But yeah, it

(20:12):
feels you want to see? Sure, why not show the camera also,
I'll actually I'll look at the camera. Sholl the camera. I don't want
to show the camera. I'm showingyou, okay, pop or lower?
Uh huh? I can't see?Oh yeah, I see it? Huh
weird? Okay, Rabbit for ourquestions, did you have your tongue ring

(20:33):
in for the procedure? Yes?What do they say about it? Nothing?
Okay? Did you have your yourWhat are the things called tooth?
Tooth gems in. Yeah, youcan't take them out. What do they
say about it? Nothing? Oh? Uh, you didn't wear your grills,
I'm guessing no. Okay. Ohlast question, did you see blood?
Like as you're spitting stuff up andthere? I didn't spit anything,
but as they're like working on stuff, did you see like blood come down

(20:55):
your lips? And didn't see blood? I feel like at one point I
felt something like drip, yeah, down my throat or like my mouth or
something like that, like like Ifelt. I did at one point feel
something puddle that I didn't think wassaliva because of the way it like puddled.

(21:17):
It wasn't like a gradual like likethat's my spit. I felt it
puddle and I immediately and I initiallythought, I think it's blood, but
I don't know. Huh, allright, and when's round two? When's
rudy tooty? I don't know.I have I have to within thirty days
go to my dentist and get thisfeeling done. And the crown got it,

(21:40):
and then I need to. Ihaven't made the other appointment yet because
I did have to pay a prettypenny out of pocket and it's a lot
sound fun Okay, so not fun. Maybe that's a next year that's a
next year thing. Now. Idon't think I'm gonna wait till next year,

(22:00):
because like, like at the endof the day, like this,
it's important that it gets done.Got it rushing a little bit? Like
there you have to push it offlike I'm rushing it. Good. Okay,
good, I'm rushing it. Iand I of course don't want to
pay the money, but it's likeit's just one of It's just one of
those things you have to do.Like if I if I wait any longer
and and it gets any worse, then there's gonna be no saving my tooth

(22:23):
and it's gonna have to get pulledout. No thanks, yea, yeah,
Okay, before we wrap up thispodcast, quick update and then I
have a question for you. Sothe update is the last podcast we talked
about the assault that's on downtown.Uh, we were on the radio today
and I get this call. I'mlike, who's calling me? And so
I'm like hello, and they go, what have you got? Did you

(22:48):
eat something that you shouldn't have eaten? Okay, I just I'm only allowed
to chew on one side of theside of my mouth. That did not
get worked on. But sometimes thefood jumps I bit too hard and it's
taps my tooth that I did getwork on and it hurts. You.
Gotta get you some jamba juice By'sat the house. Don't be doing that,
why, because that's how you gethooked. Actually no, it's normally

(23:11):
like back surgeries, you take oxyasand stuff like. You can't kick it.
I mean it's it's like I boughtit off the street anyway, so
real quick. So I got acall from the district Attorney's office the Hey,
is this strawberry's legal name? Yeah? Who's this so and so from
the district attorney's legal name from thedistrict office. And I'm like, uh,

(23:33):
district attorneys of trouble. I'm likewhat And she goes, yeah,
I'm just checking to see if youwere a witness for an assault that happened
on April whatever at this street. And I'm like, oh, all right,
so I'm not the bad guy andI'm not like I'm in trouble.
And I'm like yes, and theygo okay, well uh, And they
asked me a bunch of questions basicallylike we apprehended the assailant a few blocks

(23:56):
away. Would you be willing ifit goes to trial to show up on
behalf of the victim and be awitness? What if they put you in
that room where you have to identifythem from behind the window and you're like
turned to the side, can youstep forward and say this line? No,

(24:17):
what would she say? You say? I'd ever say something? Hell
is stupid? I don't know,but anyway, it's just a quick story,
quick update. So they call me, would you be a witness?
I'm like, oh, okay, sure, you know, no problem,
let me know. And then theyasked me, do you have any photos
or videos of the incident while ithappened. I'm like no, we were
like in the car and we jumpedout when it happened. But one of
the witnesses got a photo of thewoman and they send it to me,

(24:40):
so the cops should have that, but if you don't, it's on my
camera roll, my photo roll.So it's like, all right, cool,
no, no problem. And thenthey said they asked me a bunch
of questions, basically like, youknow, can you help this woman?
I said, yeah, how isthe woman doing? Because I know she
went to the hospital, like, what's her state, what's her status?
And they and she goes, well, can't tell you a lot because of

(25:00):
medical confidentiality, you know, whatever. She goes, but I do have
in the notes that she was shewasn'tmitted the hospital, and you know,
that's all I really have. Andshe goes and police found the assailant,
the attacker a few blocks away, and she said something which I couldn't figure
out what she was trying to hintthat she said she had so much going
on that they actually, what doyou uh? Not? Tried her,

(25:27):
not prosecute booked her. She's beenin jail since then. Basically she's been
in jail. She pled not guilty. I wonder if she really had a
baby in n stroller. I didn'task, but she pled not guilty.
The question that needs to be askedin the stroller. So she pled not
guilty. And I guess they didthat arraignment. I think that's what it's
called. She goes, oh,yeah, she had so much going on

(25:48):
that they arraigned her right then andthere. So like she had like priors
like Warren, that's what I think. So much going on was code word
for either Yeah, man, wewere looking for her. She's got a
lot of stuff to answer for,or she's got like mental stuff, like
we just had to like lock herup. It was one of those two,
which both maybe will surprise me sinceshe was already walking around assaulting people.

(26:11):
Yeah, so I have her lastname. I have the website to
go to to like Google. Yeah, I have her last name. I
have the website to go to toGoogle and to search the case number.
So as there's updates, I like, right right now, I can go
read all the reports. I canread everybody's report, read what happened,
read interviews. I can do allthat. The attacker is going to some

(26:33):
sort of pre trial on probably likethe three weeks, three weeks from now.
So she's like, if you wantto watch, if you want to
watch the live stream of the court, here's the link to watch the pre
trial. And if we need youto come testify, like could you?
I'm like, yeah, man,she got beat The woman got beat up
in front of two of her kids, head slammed into the concrete, Like
I gotta protect this mom. Hellyeah, I'll go like be a witness.

(26:56):
Like yes, She's like, look, only seventeen percent of k actually
go to court. We probably won'tneed you, but we'll reach out if
we do. I'm like, allright, have you ever been like a
witness on trial like that? Iwent, I witnessed a car crash one
time, a hit and run,and I was just telling my fiance this
too, And I remember giving theperson who got hit my phone because they

(27:22):
didn't speak very They didn't speak verymuch English, so I gave him my
phone because they didn't have a phoneor something like that. They called somebody
he could pick me up something something. They gave it back and my phone
had all this blood on it.I'm like, ah, Jesus, now
I gotta like hella disinfect this phone. But then it was a hit and
run. They stayed in contact withme, and then I went. Me
and the guy I was in thecar with went to court that day to

(27:44):
like be witnesses for this person. But I guess they like settled out of
court or something, so we didn'ttestify. We all showed up to court
and then like I guess, alawyer came out like, hey, we
don't need you guys, because theydecided to blah blah blah whatever. So
no, I haven't like I hadto actually go to court and be like
yes on the afternoon question. Haveyou ever been interrogated before in an interrogation

(28:07):
room? Not an interrogation room nowI have, yeah, yeah recently No
in sulliness, Yeah, of courseI think I was, like i'd have
been like eighteen, Like, wasit like an interrogation room like you see
on TV? Yep? What? And did they do all the tricks like
they kind of sit you by thewall, up against a like if you

(28:29):
watched it like another first forty eightor whatever, they do all the tricks.
They put you in a small room, They put you up against the
wall, they crowd you with thattable, and they get all up in
your face to like make you feeluncomfortable. They weren't all up in my
face. The rooms and the setupwere like that though. And then there
I was sitting, so the tablewas against the from where I was sitting,

(28:52):
the table was against the wall tomy right, and it came out
across me, yeah, horizontally, and I was sitting in between the table
in the back wall. The doorwas in front of me. And then
also to my right, no,no, no, to my left on
that wall was the big window thatI knew was watching me in How did

(29:14):
you get in the interrogation room?Did they arrest you? Did they call
you to come sit down? Like? Why were you in there? They
called me in. I was ata party that ended up turning into a
homicide investigation. Oh yeah, andI initially you know when when stuff turns

(29:34):
into like, oh, this isa homicide. Now we have everyone staying
and we had questioning you and itwas a really long night. So me
and the people I was with initiallywere like, we're gonna say we just
got here, people were leaving,Like we didn't even step foot inside.
We didn't see anything. We don'tknow what happened. We're like, all
right, that's the story. Sothat's what we said, like we didn't

(29:57):
see anything, We didn't know whathappened, Like we had just arrived when
people were being kicked out, andso we were like also on our way
out, gunshots, don't know.So they're like, okay. One of
the girls we were with was talkingabout the party on my space. So

(30:22):
right, so maybe within like aweek, I get a voicemail from the
sheriff or whatever asking me to comein, and so I went in and
they took me into an interrogation roomand sat me down and they're like,
listen, we know you were atthe party. We know you lied to

(30:45):
us, and we like if youknow anything, like we need to know.
And I'm like, okay, Iwas at the party, but I
don't know anything right, and theybasically, long story short, what they
ended up doing was giving me abinder or full of mug shots and they

(31:10):
wanted me to point out everyone whoI remember seeing at the party, and
I was like okay, So theyleave me in the interrogation room with this
bindertaches and sunglasses on. Everybody didn'thave a pet. But they leave me
in the room and they left andI'm like flipping through the pages and I'm
like they're helloa watching me in thatwindow right now, Like this is like

(31:33):
the movies. And all I couldremember thinking to myself is like, no
matter who you know, and thisbinder, do not stop and look at
anyone, don't stop on a page, just you know, flip a page,
look at it, scam through it, flip a page. Like that's
all I told myself. Don't stop, Yeah, don't stop and look,

(31:55):
just keep going, keep the momentum. And then I finished the whole binder
and then I shut it and Ijust waited for them to come back in
and they're like, did you didyou recognize anyone that we may be able
to like talk to that can help, you know, figure out what happened.
It's like this kid is dead. And I was like, I'm sorry.

(32:15):
I like, I don't, I'mnot. I don't just like see
faces and they stick in my head, like I don't recognize anyone from the
party in the spinder, like Ionly knew who I knew. Everyone else
that I didn't know, I don'tknow their face and which which was the
truth. And they're like, allright, well, thank you for coming

(32:38):
in, thank you for your time. If we have any more questions,
if we need you, we'll callyou. And I was like, okay,
