like it. What's the Hi. Listening to you this morning
has been like going to Finland, spending an hour in Asaana,
then running outside and rolling in the snow.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I think, thank you, that's funny. Are you clothed or
naked when you're in the snow? That's the question. All right,
here is your update.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced yesterday that the FAA will
be cutting flight capacity at forty major airports by ten percent.
He didn't specify which airports would be affected.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
WI. It's got to we're one of the biggest airports
in the world, he said.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
The move will reportedly take effect on Friday. I don't
think BWI is one of the most affected airports, so
that's still important, pretty important airport. Well that's good news
because that means the reason that this is happening is
because air traffic controllers and the security people aren't getting paid,
so they're not coming to work, and so that means

(02:02):
in Baltimore people are continuing to take one for the team.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
So thank you guys. If you're on your way to
work without getting paid, we appreciate you. Love you for that.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I know, and lines at the airports, and have you
seen some of the videos crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
We've got to get to where we've got to get.
So let's get this. Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
In the meantime, head to your local Starbucks because they
have the cutest barrista cup.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
It looks like a little Teddy Bear. I have to
go get it. I'm sorry. I'm a Dunkin fan forever
of course, of course, but you know, coffee is coffee.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Oh, Beachkin, did you hear about this nine hundred total
career goals, the first NHL player to do it, which
I think is amazing.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Oh, everybody on.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
My social yesterday was talking about this Miss Piggy movie
project that everyone's very excited about.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are producing.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It'll be the first ever movie about Miss Piggy starring her.

LA to support people who may have lost access to
their Snap benefits. I've noticed people are popping up these
food pantry things all around the country. If you know
of any pop up ones around here, let us know

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Okay, we are really slow before the Harbor Tunnel. Looks
like you're back up for about ten to fifteen minutes there.
Ninety five south On between eight ninety five and Key
Highway is slowoop between bel Air and Perring Parkway is rough.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
There's a tree down and wires down on Darlington Road
at green Spring Road.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Grinds have been blowing.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, it's been really windy, so watch out for debris
in the roadway on your way to work. Ninety seven
south on at Benfield and accident there. Moved to the
right shoulder and we're ready for you because I just
smashed it open for you. You get thirty Maryland Lottery scratchers.

Speaker 1 (04:26):

helping more Maryland families than ever. Get job.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, cowgirl, Hey, it was Parmally.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
We had Morgan Wallen. That means you had to hit
the talk back mike and we're uh. What we're doing
is giving you a chance to give us your name
and tell us what you're playing.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Are.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You have to plan what you're gonna wear, even though
it's not till next July seventeenth or eighteenth at M
and T Banks Stadium. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning
at ten. Let's see who's on there.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Hi, it's Cindy and Glen Burnie. I would love to
win tickets to Morgan Walland so I could take my son,
all right, who just started listening to country music.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
By the way, Well that's cool. I listen to you.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
Guys every morning, and what I'm gonna wear is probably denim,
short little plaid summary shirt inst with my cowboy hat
and boots of course.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
All right, thank you guys so much.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
I love you.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
Bethany and Michael J.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
All right, we love you, Bat. You're definitely in the
running now, yeah you are.

Speaker 8 (05:42):
Morning, Bethany and Michael J.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
What's up.

Speaker 8 (05:44):
This is John from Dundalk. Yeah, I'm hoping to win
those Morgan Walland tickets. I win them, I would wear
my Orioles Cowboys hat, Moran T shirt and some blue jeans.
All right, thanks and have a good day.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
All right, buddy, your registered tails days minute in sixty seconds.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
You gon't know like you own music.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Rows and that works anytime you hear us playing Morgan
Wallen song anytime all day. Hey, and speaking of Morgan
in our music city minute is still the problem tour.
He's been adding dates now, you know, July seventeenth and eighteenth,
m and T Bank Stadium, He's added dates, and Clemson
at Death Valley. He's added a couple of big stops

(06:25):
at Michigan's University, the Big House they call it up
in ann Arbor.

Speaker 9 (06:30):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
So here's what we just found out, Bethany about Morgan Wallen.
The stage setup is going to feature four different pit areas. Yeah,
this is interesting because everybody always says they want to
be in the pit, so he says, you know you
want to be in the pit. Let's make the whole
thing a big bet. That's cool. So he's gonna have

(06:52):
four of them, and if that's not enough, there's gonna
be a stage b which he wants to make big. Now,
you've seen art in the past where they go out
and like Taylor Swift did this, a lot of other
artists have. You know, they go out and they have
like a separate area where they perform. He wants to
make that more important and he's making it bigger from
what we're hearing. So look for a big stage innovation

(07:15):
and look for him to like start the show maybe
on stage p or who knows where he's gonna pop
up next. Okay, so that's the deal on Morgan Blake.
Shelton is kind of ruffling some eyes over at The Voice.
He says it bothered him that they never found a
star when he was involved with the Voice. He says,
we will find stars with The Road. This is yeah,

(07:38):
this is fascinating. He's trying to separate his show and
produce a real star in its very first season. Are
you watching The Road? That is your Country Music? Minute
ninety three point one WPOC traffic. Have you watched it
the show. No, but I'm watching the road and that's all.
We've got traffic information right here. Save I'm watching both roads.

(08:03):
I see No. I want to watch the show with
Sunday night, and I didn't have a.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Chance to everybody weigh in if you watch it, if
you did see it seven seven ninety six two, begin
your message with hi or hey, maybe this Sunday night
I'll catch I just want to see if anybody likes it.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
You know what's going on with it.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
There's next in on B to B Parkway southbound at
one ninety eight. There's next in on ninety seven southbound
at Benfield Boulevard. We're stopping go before both tunnels. And
there is a lot of debris here and there trees down,
that kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
It was super windy last night, so be safe.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Ninety three point one w POC, Same June Jingle, y'all
just sip.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
We're third at the Record Theater.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
See the bus, all right, Michael, Jay and Bethany here
on ninety three point one WPOC Happy Throwback Thursday. We'll
have plenty of those coming up. And Bethany was just
telling me that we're talking about our Congress and.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
I see this story today right that the guy wrote
to his congress person asking for spirit Halloween to be
less scary.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
That's kind of what would a congressman have to do that?
It's absolutely ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, And then it got me thinking, like do people
actually write to their representatives? And then I thought back
in my life, and I have twice. I've never done
this whatever both times?

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Really, so you called them or you like Chrispy and
Holland you said is your guy? That's my guy? Okay,
So anyway, you called them, wrote a letter what two
different things.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
One my passports were taking forever. This is like probably
four or five years ago, okay. And I got the
children passports because we were going to go away and
they just weren't coming. And it had been like like
something outrageous like six months or something. Oh wow, So
I like emailed and I was like, hey, like because
they that's what the Internet said I could do.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
So I was like, can then someone over there look
into my passports? Not only did they get back to
me right away, but the passports came, and.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Can anybody just do that? Like that's cool? Apparently?

Speaker 3 (10:03):
And then because up until this point in my adult life,
I'd never contacted any representative, right, and then there was
road construction on my street for three years and I'm
not even exaggerating.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
No, it's been ridiculous and it's still going on. They're
wrapping it up this week. Really, I think it's because
of me, because you called the representative. No, but I.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Called my representative and I was like, what's going on
with this construction? Like I just need there's no timeline anywhere,
blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
And turns out I'm not the only one.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
And then they actually came and did like a little
community meeting for our whole street. Well, no, I'm sure
I wasn't the only one, yea. Or I could take
all the credit and be like, yes, I did that,
but I just they answered right away and they were like,
we're getting you a timeline. We'll email one over like
by the end of the week. And I was like, really,
it really worked. And then I thought, with all of this,
all of this shutdown stuff and all of this, like, right,

(10:52):
you know, is anybody is everybody just complaining about it?

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Or are people actually like what are you guys doing
about it? And can you just get hold of your
representative for any problem you have, right, I think you
might be able to really well.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
I mean like the two that I had, like I
looked up and made sure that you know.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
But like the spirit Halloween thing, I think is ridiculous.
We'll see along the lines of that. I was just
reading an article that Natty Bow is out everywhere, like
for two months they haven't been able to uh, the
wine source in Hamden is out at twenty five ounce cans.
They can't get thirty packs of Bow and there's some
sort of issue. There's been a consolidation and they're having
problems keeping up with the blind demand. So you can't

(11:32):
find Natty Bow everywhere? Can I call my representative and
of I'm looking to Natty Bow called Johnny. Oh, well
there you go, dear Lord, can you help me. I'm
filling out of greatness. I'm crawling back to Heaven from
this hell on earth.

Speaker 8 (11:48):
I man, my blood is getting heavy, just meddling in
my veins.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
He's running like the riv So has anyone besides Bethany
ever contacted a politician to have him at actually do
something for you?

Speaker 3 (12:01):
This says, I do it all the time. Really, I call,
but I don't actually talk to them. Of course I
talk to their staff members, but I always get a response.
I just wonder because like this is this is specifically
what I'm thinking. The shutdown is happening.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Everybody's mad about it, right everybody, But is anybody doing anything?
Have you called? Have you told them how you feel?
I don't know, because you imagine if we all do
do that.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
That's what I'm saying, like, call and tell them how
you feel about it, or I know that there's got
to be somebody listening right now who's either worked in
one of these offices or is a congress person or
it was at some point, like give us the inside
scoop like that.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Wou got to be a tough job if your answering
the phones and you have people calling up complaining all
day long, you know, maybe that's what needs to happen.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
This says they do keep a taally of everybody who
calls in what the issues are, so that like when
it comes time to vote and stuff, they know.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
And how would someone look up up their representatives or
you know, you can google it.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
I'm sure, yeah, you just put in your address to
say who is my representative and.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Who's my Senator, you need to know about that.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
And they all have their own website and then there's
like a contact me now or whatever. I just want
to know what have you have you guys done it
and what have you asked them for and has it worked?
Seven seven nine six two Begin your message with higher
Haye or call us eight hundred to three two one
thirty six ninety three.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
And I seriously would ask about natty. You would not
say natty bow what can we do to help them get.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Their beer out?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Come on? There's nothing more Baltimore baby than some Natty.
And if you can't get your Natty, I'm not happy.

Speaker 10 (13:38):
They say this same tastay up on MAGA don't know
gains the.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Ninety three point one WPOC seven forty seven. Michael Jay
and Bethany we were talking about Bethany calls her congressman.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yeah, I've only done it twice, but both times it
worked really well.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
And you have to yes all the time, all the time.
And actually there's an app called five Calls.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Five Calls. I'm looking it up right now.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
Okay, if you call them when you're happy with things,
that's also really good.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Oh yeah, right, because when they're happy and you know
it right, clap your hands. So do you usually get
a response like from whoever you call it?

Speaker 11 (14:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (14:29):
I usually talk to staff.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Okay, all right. I love hearing that. So you just
call them up and you say what You're like, Hey,
it's it's Joyce and I got a problem. Yeah, and
then what do they say, We'll get back with you,
We'll look into it like that kind of thing.

Speaker 7 (14:52):
Yeah, it depends on the issue. Had some structure one time.
Thing they said, they get back to its answers.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
They did this.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
This five cause thing says the easiest and most effective
way for constituents to make a political impact is by
calling their representative.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Wow. Now do you call just representatives or do you
call senators? Or have you even called the president?

Speaker 7 (15:18):
Ever called the president? I have called uh, the US
representative and that both senators.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Wow, Joyce is out here doing it. Yeah, joice, thank you.
I bet you do. They like hearing from you when
you call. They know you're like, here's Joyce again. Oh
my god. No.

Speaker 7 (15:39):
I think that everything that's going on politically, a lot
of people are calling now.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, okay, I would be I would be willing to
bet that most people have not called do you know
what I mean? And that's kind of a bummer that
they're here to help us. I mean, look at this
half the people don't even vote so right, so you
think they're going to call you know what I mean?
Like Joyce, You can call us anytime. Yes, you can
always call. And if you have to vent or get

(16:05):
something off your chest, we are always welcome, welcoming. Your
comments have no power at all. We're happy to You
can call and yell at us anytime you want. You know,
we can also give out Big Jeff's telephone number.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Let them our boss can be emailed at.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
If you can't get ahold of your representative. Call ninety
three point one POC right.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Three point one w POC traffic you'll hauling.

Speaker 10 (16:31):
Cot, Yeah, ninety three point one WDPOC.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Ten months we've been doing the morning show together, Michael, Jane, Bethany.
So I looked up for you, Bethany, what are the
you know, the gifts? What do you do for ten months? Colors?
Silver or blue flowers, daffodils. The gem is diamond and
the traditional is ten or aluminum. So I decided to
bring you some aluminum siding. I'm gonna drag it. We're

(17:09):
gonna drag it in here.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Ninety three point ONoC Beth and ees brief.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
All the things you need to know to get you
day started.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
It's a nice color, little scratched, all right, seven seven
nine six to begin your message with high or Hey,
I got lots of things for.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
You to weigh in on today. All right, let's go
in the brief.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Coca Cola getting into the holiday spirit. They've got holiday
creamy vanilla flavor coming out.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Do they have that in diet? Yeah, well they'll have
regular and coke zero versions. And will Pepsi come out
with that? Because I like Pepsi better. Here we go
again to all of your grievances. Oh my gosh, apparently
our audience is like ninety Coca Cola fans, not PEPs World.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Oh come on, okay, So do you have a favorite
chill spot at home?

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yes? You do? What is it? It is on my couch? Okay.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Eighty percent of Americans say that they have a spot
that they go to to chill out, and no one
should come, No one should take that spot.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Here's the problem. We have two dogs and they know
that I love that spot, and they're always in it.
So I'm like, all right, look out for the butt
cause here it goes all.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Right, I love it. The bear beer resta.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Oh, the bearrista because they're from Starbucks. Starbucks. The it's
a little bear shaped cup.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
Let me know on text if you're going to get
one seven seven nine six two, begin your message with
higher hate or.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Do you agree with me? And Starbucks is too better? Okay? Yes,
duncan duncan babe.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
So then we have a Miss Piggy movie coming out,
produced by Ammastone and Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Are you excited about that? Okay?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
The nominees for the Grammys are coming out today. They
split the country category into two, Best Traditional Country Album
and Best Contemporary Country Album both. Let us know what
you think of that, okay. Megan Markle getting back into acting,
Oh yeah, oh yeah, she's going to play a small

(19:10):
role on Close Personal Friends from Amazon Prime.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
She upset a lot of people, by the way. I
know when she took that video of the tunnel where
Diana's car accident happened. Yeah, she was, and then she
put put her feet up like she was like she's
a little toned. Yeah. Wow.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Congratulations to a Vechkin became the first NFNHL player to
ever get nine hundred career goals. Right, and lastly, I
want to know if your holiday travel plans are being
diverted because of this airport situation. Sean Duffy, Transportation Secretary
announci yesterday that the flight capacity is going down by

(19:48):
ten percent at forty airports.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
I'm finally going to call my representative right now over
that you could, Yes, you could.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, Denver International Airport is actually offering to pay the
air traffic controllers and the security.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah, go figure, I mean, is that what the point
of this is? Well, doesn't it seem to you that
this whole shutdown must be continuing for a while. If
now they're saying they're gonna have to start cutting back
on the airports or if they're t I feel like
it's it's a threat.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
I try to get people with eighty three point one
w POC traffic. Oh no, what on text?

Speaker 3 (20:22):
My dad just tried getting me the berry stick up
and it's gone already at most spots sold out.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
That's why I say, good to Duncan, what time does
the show? And I got but you Duncan's got their cups.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
You gotta get over there, okay, ninety seven southbound before
Benfield Boulevard and accident has the right lane blocked on
Orleans Street at North Carry Darling.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
You must like her, I guess. Chase Matthew ninety three
point one WPOC, Michael j and Bethany And you know,
I am very conscious of how much things cost. And
we're going to get to this in the Music City
Minute about at the price of Morgan Walling tickets and
how to get a good deal on them here in
just a sec. Yesterday I had to pick up some
vitamin D. I was at my doctor's. He's like, you

(21:04):
need vitamin D. I guess that's what you get when
you get sunshine, right, most Americans are deficient, he said.
I was low on vitamin D. Yeah, so I just
go on the I go on the pharmacy. I pick
up a bottle of vitamin D and like a bonehead,
I don't look at the price on it. Yeah, tell
them at the cashier twenty six dollars for a bottle
of vitamins. Yeah, really, I mean there are other brands. Yeah,

(21:27):
I know. I think I need to start Sean on.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Michael Jay's Music City Minute in sixty seconds you gon't
know like you own music.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Road bringing that up because I know a lot of
us are thinking how much do we have to spend
for Morgan Walling tickets? First things first, we'll tell you
how to get him for free as well. But you
want to be here at Morgan Walland shows on July
seventeenth and eighteenth at M and T Bank Stadium. Listen
up because the tickets go on sale officially tomorrow morning.

(21:56):
They had this pre sale that was going on. But
here's the advice I'm getting, Bethany. Okay, this is what
I'm hearing because he's partnering with seat Geek and they're saying, well,
Sea Geek isn't saying this, but insiders are saying, wait,
don't worry about the presale line. Don't get in line

(22:16):
for tickets on Friday, November seventh, wait, because that's when
they get the highest prices unless you end up going
to a scalper. Right, Morgan Wallen partners with Sea Geke,
Sea Geek, and the week that the show happens, I
am told that is when you get the cheapest tickets
if you wait till the very last minute before the show.

(22:38):
Because what happens is they have all these scattered tickets
that no one bought. It's like a seat over here,
maybe a pit pass over here, who knows, and you
end up getting a better price. The advice goes off
the theory that there are the odds and ends, like
I'm saying, and that also sometimes the bands or the performers,

(23:01):
they are holding tickets for their friends and family and
then they're not going to use them and they put
them back.

Speaker 8 (23:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
I've actually done this on a concert day, like after
the opener already started.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Wow, and I got tickets really ten dollars. That's how
you get the cheapest tickets. You got to buy them
the day of or the day before when the show
has already begun. So but the issue is like, that's
not guaranteed. No, so if you must, must must be there. Yeah. Like,
so here's what we're doing because of all this excitement.
I mean, my son called me yesterday, He's like, Dad,
do you have any hookups from Morgan Wallan. I'm like, well,

(23:33):
I can ask, But.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
My neighbors came trigger treating and was like, oh, hey,
by the way, if you have any extra Morgan Walla.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Everybody's asking, right, that's not the sweet Here's what you
need to remember, and I can tell from the excitement
on the talk back because it blows up every time
we play a Morgan Wallen song. But we're giving away
tickets that you can't even buy officially till tomorrow. When
you hear Morgan Wallen, you go immediately to the eye
Heart Radio app, click the talk back mike while you're

(24:03):
listening to ninety three point one WPOC and give us
your name and tell us what you're going to be
wearing at the show, because we're kind of curious.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Ninety three point one w POC traffic and you can
get as detailed as you'd like.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Well, that's just the fun we're having this morning. What's
going on with traffic? All right? One hundred west bound
at oak Wood Road, there's an accident. Things are stopping.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Go back to Route ten on our Lean Street and
North Carolina Street. There's an accident there in the city.
Back Rivernck Road at Turkey Point Road, there's an accident
there in Essex, an accident at Homesdale Avenue by Bowley Slane.
And then we were just slow in most of our
usual spots on eighty three and six.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Ninety five ninety three point one w POC has team
double Safeway skin.

Speaker 11 (24:55):
You can go.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Jelly Roll. Now, let me ask you a question. Speaking
to Jelly here with Michael Jay and Bethany at ninety
three point one WPOC, who do you think has the
most tats in country music? Jelly Roll's got a lot
of them, the facetats individually. Let's add them all up.
I even saw the other day Jelly's got like a

(25:24):
new piercing in his cheek right up here. Yeah. I
don't know how you get it. How did they do that?
It's like, let's way up past it inside of your mouth.

Speaker 9 (25:34):
It's basically just like a post okay, because it's up
under his eye. Anyway, I just did a little research.
Who do you think in country music has the most tats?

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Hmm? Is it Jelly Roll? You're gonna ponder this in
your head for just a second's working over post. Malone's
right up there, all right. Could be somebody random and
we can't see them. Tim McGraw's got he's got faith
on his arm. Yeah, but that's not very he doesn't
have many. Eric Church, Henny Chesney. Just think of all

(26:08):
the stars. I wonder if there's a chick with a
lot of them, all the chicks they you know, I
remember when the chicks first came out, they went and
got tats. They got little chicks feet tatted on their
on their ankles. But I don't think they have very many.
I don't know who is it? All right, the answer
is here, it is. I'm ready to reveal. I will
not keep you in suspense for long. With the most

(26:30):
tattoos in country news by a long stretch, Post Malone,
and we've done a total tabulation. Post currently has over
seventy tats, including many, you know, many on his face.
So Jelly rolls not alone. Uh, No single country music

(26:52):
artist is known to be even close to the intricacy
and extensive nature of post Malone's tats. And did you
know this is something specific about Posty and his his tats.
He likes to get people that inspire him. Okay, chatted,
He has Kurt Cobain, he has Little Peep, and he

(27:15):
has Travis Kelsey. Really, I'm like, I bet you Taylor
Swift doesn't even have Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 12 (27:22):
Dadda.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
I have questions about that, but post Malone does. So
now you know the rest of the ink story. All right,
now we're ready for the hot seat. Whether or not
you have tats, you're more than welcome to join us.
Eight hundred three six ninety three.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
You're gonna want to be color number nine, and we're
going to ask you three opinion based questions.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
But they will make you sweat. Maybe one of them
is about being tatted. I don't know, Methan, he has
them for you. Gotta be on the phone to be
in the air, though.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
I got to sit home from school one day with
a shatter.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Home was against the roofs and it didn't He's a
love it out that George Straits. All right, Hey, Stacy,
tell us something about yourself. That's totally fascinating.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
George Trade is actually my all time favorite country singer,
so you know, across the country to see him several times.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Oh, that's very about. I thought you were gonna say,
like he's related to you or something. I wasn't sure. Yeah,
he is awesome. Did you ever watch that? What was
that movie he was in? She is a Diehard? Hey,
where where is okay? Out of all the George Strait
shows you've seen, and he played in d C, I

(28:46):
remember that. I've seen him in Dallas, seen him a
lot of different places. Where do you think was the
best night with George Strait of your life?

Speaker 5 (28:55):
One time he was in Philadelphia with Reba?

Speaker 1 (28:58):
So that was that was a good money? Oh my gosh,
I bet? I bet? All right, Stacy, Well, we've got
some tickets for another show we'll tell you about. If
you beat the seat. Three questions, three seconds, you got
to answer, So let's roll, miss Bethanie.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Question number one, what is a smell that makes you happy? Oh?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Yeah, that is a good smell. Question number two, thinking
I have a lot of allergies. You know, it always
smells good. It smells great. Yeah. You know what else
along the lines of grass? Do you like the smell
of maulch Stacy? You know, like you know when they
first put mulch down. I think it smells so good.

(29:40):
Manure smells like spring, all right?

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Question number two, Stacy, what word or phrase do you
over use?

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Good lord? Good Lord?

Speaker 3 (29:55):
I mean, Stacy, to be fair, there's a lot of
reasons lately.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
To be saying let's hear you. What does it sound
like when you say it's Stacy, let me hear you.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Good lord?

Speaker 5 (30:07):
Like I usually say it to my kids.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Okay, you're doing great. Last question, here's where it gets
a little itchy. Who in your family do you wish
you could uninvite from your family holiday celebrations.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Uh, there's this.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
One aunt that kind of is drama related.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
So she's full of drama. Yeah, her aunt comes over,
and so what happens when she gets to your house?

Speaker 5 (30:37):
You know you can't really trust this person, and you
know she gossips sometimes behind people's back.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Everything you tell her kind of trickles down to everybody else.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
I hope she's not listening right now. Maybe she'll get
the hint you are not inviting. All right, Well, we
won't give your name or we want to identify her anymore.
On the radio, you did great, Stacy. Yeah, but listen,
you're gonna go see this new guy, Vincent Mason, and
maybe he'll be the next George Straight. You never know.
He's going to be at the the fillmore April twenty fourth,

(31:15):
thanks to Live Nation. You're our guest, So.

Speaker 4 (31:18):

Speaker 1 (31:19):
He's feeling in a good mood. It's me in a
good movie.

Speaker 2 (31:22):

Speaker 1 (31:37):
The baking that is parmally. Whether you're in glen Burnie
or Pasadena or Tollson, you're hanging with ninety three point
one WPOC, Michael j and Bethany. We love being a
part of your morning. And you know it was ten
months ago today that.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
We were born. Yeah, we were, we were hatch. I
also read that it's another anniversary. Today is the day
that at what's his name announced that the Ravens were
coming to Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Steve Well, it wasn't Steve as Shady, it was probably uh,
you're saying, what the owner from the Browns.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Yes, today was the anniversary of that. Do you remember
what year art model Artdell?

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, what year? Well, it was ninety nine, he think
he announced like a ninety okay, he announced because they
started in ninety six.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
They're moving the team to Baltimore. Wow, And thus the
Ravens were born.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
How ironic that all was, because I remember, oh I
don't remember. I'm not old enough to remember the night
the Colts left on the Mayflower trucks and went to Indianapolis.
And it was just weird that like, we lost our
team that way, and then we got a team back,
and just the whole thing. It's very it's odd a
lot of oddities. But we have the ravens Now and
they're going to win this weekend, right, Yes, we're absolutely

(32:56):
going to beat the Vikings. Just checking and hopefully you're
gonna win. We're giving away Morgan Walling tickets. Bethany, you're
rooting for this guy is.

Speaker 12 (33:08):
I have to call and try to win these for
my fiance.

Speaker 11 (33:12):
We just had a beautiful baby girl a few weeks
ago and she's the first time.

Speaker 12 (33:15):
Mother and I'm so proud of her. She's doing so
so well.

Speaker 11 (33:19):
Her name's Kara, and I'd love to win these tickets
for her to take her, you know, to have a
night to see Morgan and just relax.

Speaker 12 (33:25):
So it's night pick us. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (33:27):

really sweet.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
