Three point one w POC Happy Fried Day, Michael J
and Bethany. I told you, Bethany, football fever runs deep
in relationships. Now, if you can keep it out of
the bedroom, which I say, oh that could be. Now
(08:03):
now I'm telling you I can't.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
I can't. You got you gotta delineate.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
And this is and I'm not I'm not being completely
sarcastic here, I'm serious. I really think it matters for
some people, like look at this text. Hey, I love Bama,
must be a fan, never an Eagles fan.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
No liberals.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
See, they put it right up with politics and football.
Some people can, you know, some people cannot be in.
And I think the way politics have gotten, it would
be tough to be in a relationship that if one
person's strong one way, one person's the other.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Here's a family that is divided in three. I'm a
longtime Patriots fan, my wife is a Cowboys fan, and
our son is a Bills fan.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Oh my gosh, Now that just gets crazy. And listen
to this guy on the phone. I think it's John
and Chris. Tell us your story, buddy. If I had
this right, she's a Stealers fan and you love our Ravens.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Yeah. Yeah, Well she was my sup of friend for many.
Speaker 12 (08:59):
Many years, and before we started dating.
Speaker 13 (09:00):
I said to us that I'll make a bet with.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
You the rate to play in the Steelers. She said,
what's the bet.
Speaker 13 (09:06):
I said, well, the Ravens.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
When you have to.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
Go out with me, she said, the Steelers win.
Speaker 12 (09:11):
I said, I have to go out with you.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
It's actually really cute. Yeah, I love it.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
So you you actually four that these two teams brought
you guys together. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
Yeah, I took her to Hindfield to propose to her.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Oh my god, Oh my goodness, this runs dang dude.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 13 (09:32):
She's put together for better for worse.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
But I can't do no better and she can't do
no worse.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
All right, Look at John's got one for everything. That's cute.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
All right, thank you for all the text this morning.
A lot of football fans, and uh, certainly, I think
the one thing we can all agree on, Bethany. Hopefully
we can all agree on this that Lamar's got to
have a really good.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Game on Sunday. No pressure.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
The Vikings they took took care of business against the Lions,
so we definitely got our hands full.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
So go raven Or ninety.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Three point one w POC traffic fifteen south bound at
my Zion Road. There's an accent there with the right
lane blocked. We're still on b Tow Parkway southbound between
ninety three.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
Point one W POC.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Michael J. And Bethany. Now, what is your first name
on the phone?
Speaker 12 (10:18):
Maria?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Maria.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
We just got your text, and here here's what I
got you. So my wife is this are you the
one that wrote My wife is a Steelers fan and
I'm a Ravens fan.
Speaker 12 (10:31):
No, my husband is a Cowboys fan and I'm a
Washington fan.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
Oh that's rough, that's wrong.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh my god.
Speaker 13 (10:39):
Now the good thing is my husband.
Speaker 12 (10:41):
Works out of town during the week, but he leaves
on Sundays, so there's really no football thing going on together.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
So does does this discussion ever show up in the bedroom? No?
Goodessah wait, keep yeah, but that's funny though.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Uh uh.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
And there's such a such a rivalry there.
Speaker 13 (11:03):
M h it was.
Speaker 12 (11:05):
Oh yeah, long time, very long time rivalry.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
Interesting and that and.
Speaker 12 (11:10):
The fact that he doesn't like to pick craft.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
We're almost steel Breakers.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Oh where is he from?
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Mars?
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Yeah, what's wrong with this guy?
Speaker 12 (11:19):
Well, he's from Pennsylvania. There's a whole story about the
Cowboys fan. He was out with his father or his
grandfather and one of the Cowboys players was where they were,
and he actually came and sat with them.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
So he's from Pennsylvania.
Speaker 13 (11:35):
He can't drive.
Speaker 12 (11:37):
He became a Cowboys.
Speaker 13 (11:41):
So actually he can't.
Speaker 12 (11:43):
He's a very good man.
Speaker 13 (11:47):
Man.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Well it sounds like, there's a sweet origin story for that.
Speaker 12 (11:51):
So all right, yeah, it's succeptible.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
We'll allow it. Yeah, we'll allow it.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Thank you for okay, thank you for thanks for sharing
that story that that's pretty funny. All right, Wait a second.
We are quite a few people checking in here this morning.
Good morning, Michael, Jay and Bethany. So what about you?
You got a divided football family? Hello? Hello, this is Russ. Yeah, Russ,
So what's going on in your place?
Speaker 5 (12:16):
How you doing?
Speaker 8 (12:17):
So?
Speaker 5 (12:17):
I met my wife over what almost thirty three years ago.
Speaker 11 (12:21):
I was a die hard Cowboy fan because the Colts
left when I was a kid.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
Right, And she's from Philadelphia. Oh my gosh. So we stay.
Speaker 11 (12:31):
Together and now she's still die hard Philly and I'm
obviously you know, a fan.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Hey, let me ask you a question. I've heard this
from many people. I just want to confirm where you
can deny it if you want. I hear Philly fans
are the worst. Like when you go to football games
in Philadelphia that it just gets very ugly.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Have you ever experienced that? I have. I went to
a game many years ago and decked out in my
Cowboy Outfah, it was not good.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I would never do it again.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
I would never go back there again.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
No, I've heard from players how rough it is going
into Philly. Thank you for calling. Good morning ninety three
point one WPOC Michael J. And Bethany. What about your place?
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Hello?
Speaker 13 (13:17):
Good morning?
Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah, you got a football family that split.
Speaker 13 (13:23):
Hi. This is Chris. Hey, Chris, I'm a Ravens fan.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Okay.
Speaker 13 (13:27):
In fact, I was.
Speaker 10 (13:28):
In Miami for the game this past Thursday, but.
Speaker 13 (13:33):
I was born in Detroit. Here we go, so I
still have a little bit of my heart in Detroit, right,
And so in my house, my husband makes fun of
me because he says, you don't even know any of the.
Speaker 10 (13:47):
Detroit fans or the players, right, And I said, well,
it's still in my heart, and I still root for
them because I know they've been struggling for so many years,
so kind of rooting for the underdog.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
But I do love the right.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Well that's nice. So you're welcome in our house anytime.
My wife would love to have you. Know, you'd be
a good mediator with you, yeah, because she's all about
the Lions and you could you could commiserate and talk
what part of Detroit did you grow up in?
Speaker 5 (14:15):
Actually?
Speaker 13 (14:15):
Outside Detroit and Royal Oak I was born.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I know exactly where it is, all right, well, yeah,
it's very lovely. I was in Birmingham for about what
twelve twelve years, so I get the whole Detroit thing.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
But it's just uh.
Speaker 10 (14:31):
Oh, you know. Like I said, I really want them
to win, but you know I feel bad Ravens right now.
Speaker 13 (14:37):
I do.
Speaker 10 (14:38):
I'm scared for this Sunday.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
What's gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah, what do you think? Why don't we get a
prediction from you right now? Because I think that'll be
good luck for the Ravens. What is your first name again?
Speaker 5 (14:48):
Is it Denise? Chris? Chris?
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I'm sorry, Chris? What is your prediction?
Speaker 5 (14:54):
The Ravens are going to win? That's okay, that's sulking
like a Baltimore Ravens fan. Thank you very much, Chris.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
We love we love you for listening Drive Safely with
w PO site. Maybe it is where it ends that
song is the theme for this, uh this segment because Bethany,
I want to know are other people having problems in
their relationships because you don't agree on your favorite football team.
(15:25):
I'm sure I'm a Ravens fan. My wife Cheryl. She's
become this bigger and bolder Lions fan and I knew
she was.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
And the the thing is she's from Michigan.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, but she's not from Detroit. She's from northern Michigan. Okay,
So I'm like, Okay, all of a sudden, I mean
not all of a sudden. It's been it's been over
several many years, and this has progressively gotten worse as
the Lions have gotten better.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
Uh oh, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Except the Lions lost to the Vikings last week, and
this week the Ravens are taken on the Vikings. The
big conversation is about the Blitz. Will they be able
to get to Lamar, who's got a one hundred and
thirty six passer rating against the Blitz.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Anyway, in my house, it's I deal with it. But
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I just I mean, yeah, I was in Detroit for
a long time. I never really made the Lions mine though, right,
do you know what I mean? It's kind of like
how I know people from Pittsburgh who even though they're here,
they still they still bleed, you know, black.
Speaker 5 (16:32):
And yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
So you know, like, here's what happens like two flags
go up. We have little flags in front of our
house for game day.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
A house divided?
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yes, And I just want to ask, is anyone else
dealing with a house divided?
Speaker 5 (16:50):
Do you have rules or well guidelines?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Here's what bothers me. She gets up and walks out
of the room when the Ravens are on. That is
bad luck?
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Oh, she does. No, I can't leave the game when
it's on. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
I mean I might run out really quick to grab
a snack or something during a commercial, yeah, of course,
but not during I'm not going to get up and
walk away when the game's on. She's like, I got
things to do.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
Will you watch a Lions game?
Speaker 8 (17:17):
No?
Speaker 5 (17:17):
Of course not.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Okay, so you know, I mean, I'll watch it for
a few minutes. I'll see what Jared, you know, is
up to. But then I'm like, okay, I'm done. Now
what if this is the problem? What if they played
at the same time? Oh, then forget it. I'm not
She's going to be in a different room. We're a
different in different rooms. Okay, she's got a TV in
her room and she's got a antenna. I got the
(17:40):
cable gone I'm sure you're not alone. Well, I wonder
And here's my my real ultimate question. The penultimate would be,
would you not date someone who didn't root for the
same football team? Because if I had known this day one,
I don't know, if i'd deep yeah, I would be like,
(18:01):
you know that might be a deal breaker. Huh, would
you sure?
Speaker 5 (18:06):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
I don't feel that passionately about it, So I'm like, okay, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Mean it's like politics. Are you going to date someone
of a different political persuasion? Zero?
Speaker 13 (18:16):
No?
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Right, absolutely, see, but that's something I'm passionate about, so like.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
I'm passionate about sports. Yeah, so that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
I'll bet on that alone eight hundred and three two
one thirty six ninety three. You can also get ahold
of us at seven seven nine six y two, start
with hay or high. Would you consider not dating someone?
How can I do that succinctly as possible?
Speaker 5 (18:42):
That question?
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Would you not date someone because of who they root for?
Speaker 5 (18:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I feel like I feel like that's a thing. All right,
We're going to find out go Ravens. Yeah, and if
you're not, if you're not a Ravens fan, so yeah,
so you want to know why Jelly Roll is celebrating
that song this morning, back thing I do.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
It's Michael Jay's music City minute in sixty seconds.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
You don't know like you own music Row.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Jelly Roll is thrilled to learn that he has just
earned his eighth consecutive number one at country radio with
a single Heart of Stone.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
That's on his sophomore album, Beautifully Broken, which debuted at
number one on the Billboard Top two hundred chart. Hard
a Stone, co written by Jelly and Zach Crowell, Blake Pendergrass,
and Shy Carter, follows previous chart toppers from that same album,
Beautifully Broken. I Am not Okay and liar.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
So he's on a streak, he is.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
It is New Country Friday around here, and we have
a couple of songs we're going to debut and give
you a little snippet of, so you can, you know,
think about what you would what you would say about
these songs.

night she has released the single which we've been playing
this morning, giving you a snippet of it. You can
pull it up when you get to work if you want,
you want to hear the whole thing. It's called I
Sit in Parks. It's basically about Kelsey really I guess
hearing her internal clock ticking, and it sounds like she
would love to have a baby, but she's got this busy,
(23:18):
successful music career.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
Yeah, she's torn between yeah, yeah, which I think is
a thing a lot of women feel.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Yeah. So check that out. It is called I Sit
in Parks and it's from her new EP coming out.
Speaker 5 (23:32):
Which has she been in Baltimore to name her EP.

Have a kid.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
All right, Michael Jay Here, that is your Music City
Minute this morning.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic on ninety.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
All this talk about BWI and the airport this morning
from Bethany's brief, Yeah, you were saying that there's delays
and there's you know it problems.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
They're cutting flights.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, they're kind of about ten percent of flights. Anybody's
dressing out about that? Or are you at the airport?
You're experiencing anything at the airport? You drop somebody off,
you know about it? Give us a holler. We'd love
to hear.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Ninety three point one w POC has teamed up with
Safeway for free food Friday. Listen all day Friday from
ten am to seven BM to score a one hundred
dollars gift guard.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Just a little helping.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Hand to make ends meet organ way you can go.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
You realize I saw close thanksgivings getting Yeah, so uh
really really close. Bethanie and I were just talking about
it is free food Friday here at ninety three point
one WPOC coming up at seven fifty just to heads up,
you're gonna want to stick with us. We're gonna be
giving away one hundred dollars Safeway gift cards for anyone
who is struggling, furloughed, laid off. You know, groceries is
(25:22):
something everybody needs, and we're gonna help you out. At
seven fifty, I said, sauer Kraut and Cobasa I have
to have. But Bethany, I guess I'm the only one.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
I will never ever eat sauer Kraut. I cannot get
past the smell. My name is Deborah Jonas.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
All right, so Debra's not having sauerkraut for Thanksgiving. We
have bigger problems to talk about because at that Thanksgiving dinner,
you know, when you get family.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
Together, Yeah, there's always somebody that's going to bring up
something that's a little uncomfortable.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
I have a list here of.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
The four topics that you should not bring up at Thanksgiving,
and I've got a couple tips here for you from
an expert about what to do if somebody brings it up.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
So there's something besides just politics. You shouldn't bring up weight.
Oh okay, yeah, waight, that's not a good one to
bring up. Oh you're looking good there.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Well, there's either way, right, there's inevitably someone who's going
to talk about their diet or what they're doing, or
they're ohs that pick, or there's something like, yeah, you
just don't know who's at the table and what you know,
what they're going through, So maybe just don't talk about
it at all, right, Money.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
That doesn't normally come up at our place for Thanksgiving.
Money how much does did your new house cost? Oh?
Oh you must have gotten a race, you've got a
new boat.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Oh no, that doesn't come up, does it?
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yours?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
People talk about money.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
My My Thanksgiving is mostly just immediate family.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Yeah, so it's chill, right, So there's not all That's
the way ours is too. But maybe you've got you know,
people you haven't seen for a while. Mm hmmm, family planning,
Oh about having kids? People are gonna bring that up
at Thanksgiving dinner.
Speaker 5 (27:06):
Well, you know what's.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Really interesting, I think with a lot of these topics, Uh,
it's more subtle. It's not like someone's gonna flat out
be like when are you when are you guys having
a baby? But I mean people will do that, Grandma
or somebody will inevitably just say it. But I often
think it's a little bit more subtle, like something like, oh,
(27:28):
you guys.
Speaker 5 (27:28):
Have been married for three years now, like you.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Know, and so someoney's gonna say that over dinner. That's
pretty funny. Oh yeah, I mean just that's so. Do
you have anything at your Thanksgiving dinner that you that
you do try to make a tradition?
Speaker 5 (27:48):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Well, I mean, is there anything any topic that you
bring up? Like because a lot of times, at least
at our house, I'm wondering if it's like this at yours.
Your kids are here though, so, but like if my
family comes back together, then it's like, well, how are
things at school? You know, we talk about that, what
do you you know, we catch up with, you know,
because especially if it's people that you haven't seen for
(28:10):
a minute, you know what I mean. Isn't it more like, hey,
how are things going? What's happening in your world? And yeah,
oh yeah for sure? Keep it light, yeah exactly. And
then I'd like to do this thing. I like to
go around the table. If you have like ten people,
you know, you have a big table. It's kind of
fun have everybody say one thing that they're thankful for,
(28:33):
because isn't that what Thanksgivings about?
Speaker 5 (28:35):
Anyway? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Right, oh, for sure, I'm thankful. There's sour ground and
Kilbaza so we want to know from you seven to
seven nine six two. Begin your message with hi or
hey or call us eight hundred three two one thirty
six ninety three. Is there a person in particular that
is causing trouble at the table? Like I sometimes there's
(28:57):
somebody that you're just so stressed to even invite.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
But doesn't it seem like there's always one person that's
making this happen.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
And what is it that they just will not let go?
Speaker 7 (29:06):
Like?
Speaker 5 (29:06):
What topic do they insist on bringing up? All right?
So what have you learned here? Politics? Wait? Yeah? Family planning?
What I leave out? Money and money? Yeah? Right?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
You want to stay away from those four topics? And
if someone does go in that direction, Bethany, what do
you do at your house?
Speaker 5 (29:26):
I will tell you next. I can't wait. I get
a feeling it's going to be.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Very direct, because that's what Bethany is. I love it.
Speaker 7 (29:37):
He started way back in third grade.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
I used to suicide even checks.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
All right, we want to know what do you do
if somebody hits one of those four subjects or something
else that doesn't doesn't fly at your Thanksgiving dinner table.
Bethany brought up let's see let's revisit it.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Money.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
You don't talk about that, right, Politics, yep, having a baby,
or planning your family right right there?
Speaker 4 (30:05):
Even marriage or anything like that, right, like any of it.
I mean, if they bring it up, you can talk
about it, okay.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
And finally, wait, you said those are the four that
Bethany has. Now, what do you do if someone at
your You've invited them to your house, they're sitting there
and they're making a you know, oh.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Someone else on text added religion? Oh yeah, yeah, that's
another one. Yea.
Speaker 5 (30:30):
What do you do if somebody goes there?
Speaker 4 (30:33):
So, if you're on the receiving end, I've heard a
lot of different ways to handle it, Like you could
be like, oh, that's such an interesting question to ask.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
I have an idea.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
How about you get a great big can of ready
whip and you make a deal before dinner starts if
anybody goes on any of these five topics, wait, having
a baby, religion, what was the other one?
Speaker 5 (30:58):
Politics? Whatever?
Speaker 1 (30:59):
I'm even out, you have those five, they get the
ready whip.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
And the mouth.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Well, I feel like if you, if you have the
kind of family where you can say that up front, yeah,
we do, Like it's it's probably my wife threw my
father out of the house, really out of the house.
Speaker 10 (31:18):
Really.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
He would not stop talking about politics, wouldn't and we
all no one wanted to hear it. And she's like,
out out, I'm like, go to Sheryl, really did he?
Speaker 13 (31:30):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (31:31):
Wow? You can say something like, you know, I'd rather
not discuss that right now.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Will you start with that? And then when they keep coming,
then you get to then you.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
Get to throw them out. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:43):
Then you could say you just changed the subject. Oh yeah,
Mary just went to France. I want to hear all
about that, or you know, like just divert. If you're
the host, you're in charge. So I guess that's what
Cheryl took.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
Like I'm cooking, I say out.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
You could say something like, let's save that for another time.
I'd love to keep things light tonight, right, That's that's nice.
If you're on the receiving end, the host just overhearing it,
something like that, you could say, you know, it's so
interesting to hear other people's perspectives on things. Did you guys,
Have you guys seen the new episode of Blah Blah blah,
or is anybody watching Love Is Blind?
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Or you know that kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Just completely change it and then you can get more direct.
They said, ow right, this is getting uncomfortable.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
Yeah, no, it does happen though.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Bja on Tech said this year Thanksgiving, we should have
a penalty box. Anyone who starts talking about politics. It's
ten minutes in the box. I think ready whip would
be fun.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Sure, you know what I mean. You have to have
some fun with it.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
You have better ideas seven seven nine six two. Hit
us with a tax now, I don't know who broke
who for season hit Jason Tequila with.
Speaker 5 (32:58):
Her don't.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Ninety three point one wit poc, Michael Jay and Bethany.
We're talking about Thanksgiving, which is coming up in just
a little less than three weeks. We want to know
how you handle a situation where conversation gets out of
control on any of you know, it could be religion, politics,
but there were a few others that Bethany, you might not.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Think about, Yeah, like weight or family planning, relationships.
Speaker 5 (33:33):
Someone's a non text. What about a swear jar? If
you break a rule a dollar in the jar.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
If there is a swear jar at my Thanksgiving, it
would be like four thousand dollars, and I understand money
is involved in this guy's Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
People bring cash? Huh, say good morning, good morning, Hey,
what's up?
Speaker 4 (33:56):
Hey?
Speaker 5 (33:56):
I was saying for a Thanksgiving, we'd like.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
To gamble.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Right at Thanksgiving?
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Your gambling? Oh yeah, oh yeah, So how does it work?
Speaker 4 (34:11):
We just try different games when we gamble, and it
won't go around and somebody gets.
Speaker 8 (34:16):
To pick the game.
Speaker 10 (34:17):
So almost like rock paper scissors, before we even choose
the game they were playing, and then and then we play.
Speaker 5 (34:26):
And at what point does that get on a hand? Yeah?
Probably in Oh I get that out of hand when
you start losing your money. So in a minute. So
when people come to your Thanksgiving, they got to bring cash.
What is the average Oh yeah, we don't have it.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
They're not playing it.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
So what's the average person bringing with their bankroll? Oh
they can't use the deal mind. That's funny.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
So you have you do it with one just a
few change.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Yeah, no, one's losing a na.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
The casinos are gonna have a problem with this guy.
All right, Well, good luck. I hope it all works
out this year.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
It sounds like it could be fun.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yeah, you know, we have got free food Friday going on,
and we would love to get you started.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Now.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Listen, if you are currently driving to work without a
paycheck Friday, a lot of people get paid, but if
you're not getting a paycheck because you're furloughed.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Yeah, or if you're somebody who lost their snap benefits
this week, if you're just struggling.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
In any way, we'd love to be able to help
you out.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
Eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety three are
friends at Safeway teamed up with us and we're giving
away one hundred dollars in free food every hour, all
day long.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
All right, We're going to the lines looking for you now,
so get on there. Eight hundred three two one thirty
six ninety.
Speaker 2 (35:47):

Speaker 4 (35:54):
An accident there has things stop and go back to

earlier there has the right lane block. Looks like that's
still causing trouble on the outer loop between Liberty Road
and forty We are Solow ninety five northbound.

All the things you need to know to get you
day Starday.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
How about that supermoon?
Speaker 13 (36:30):
Now?
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Is it the supermoon or the beaver moon? I thought
we were calling it the beaver moon.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
I think it can be bold. All right, what is
your favorite Thanksgiving side? I'd like for you to text
seven seven nine six two. Begin your message with hi
or hey, I'll yours. I'll tell you what America's is
at the end of the report. I think mine is
mashed potatoes.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
No over hold on over kilbasa and sauerkraut.
Speaker 5 (36:56):
That has nothing to do with Thanksgiving at all, No,
it does.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Do you know what kill Boston's our crowd for Thanksgiving?
Now makes Thanksgiving Bathanny?
Speaker 5 (37:06):
Come seven seven nine six two.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
Begin your message with higher Hey when you text us,
we would like to know what your favorite Thanksgiving side is,
and I'll tell you like I said, what America's favorite
is at the end of my report.
Speaker 5 (37:17):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Eighty five year old Baltimore born Nancy Pelosi has announced
she'll leave Congress in twenty twenty seven. Fifty three year
old Anthony Barksdale, Baltimore City's deputy mayor for public safety,
has died. The mayor's office announced last night. Airlines are
working to help passengers affected by the Federal Aviation Administrations
ordered to cut ten percent of the flights at forty
(37:41):
US airports. American Airlines says it'll cancel two hundred and
twenty of its roughly six thousand daily departures. I did
notice that Baltimore, like BWI, they are making changes to
the security, So you're gonna want to look into that.
I guess one of the security, like c is closed,
one of the game is open for pre check, and
(38:02):
the other one is open for everybody else. So you're
gonna want to look into that if you're flying in
the next couple of days. CMA Awards are coming November eighteenth,
and today we have the first round of artists that
are performing Okay, Big X, The Plug and Luke, Colmbs,
Ella Langley, Megan mulroney, Shaboozie, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore and
(38:23):
Stephen Wilson Junior performing Lady Wilson of course, will host.
More details have come to light about President's Trump proposed
construction for a giant arch in Washington, DC, which I
thought was a joke, but it is not. He wants
the copy the trot the Arch d Triumph in Paris. Yeah,
and he'd like to call it the Arc to Trump,
I literally thought this was a joke.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
Now he wants an arch with his name on it.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
The cost of the project is estimated at one hundred
million dollars, which will come from the nearly one point
nine billion dollars that Trump has raised from private donors
for various projects, including.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
The White House Ballroom. Right, Okay, that's it.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean castle, Liz says, Dad's oyster stuffing.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
That sounds I'm down with that. That would be number two,
right beyond the sour kraut and kilbasa.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
Someone said, mashed potatoes and gravy year round, fave. Agreed,
stuffing is the number one or sour crow. Oh look
at Denise, and DNA says I'm with Michael J. Sowerkraut
and kilbosa. Yes, with just a little sugar in it
to take the edge off.
Speaker 5 (39:31):
What part of the Thanksgiving feast is the kilbosa.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
The kilbosa is that makes it that big sausage, and they, oh,
my gosh, it's nothing like it.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
Forty seven percent of people say, I don't even need
the turkey, I just want the sides.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
You know, you're offending the turkeys.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Okay, So we have an accident reported on the interloop
between Security Boulevard and Liberty Road.
Speaker 5 (39:56):
There's an eccdent with the right lane.
