The mafia, Like this is a big deal that's affecting
pretty much the entire NBA.

this plays out.

Now he's coaching but well, now he's no longer coaching.

He's in the lock up. Yeah.

Oh, there was a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday to celebrate the
longer waited Towson High School renovation. A new five story
edition will add one hundred thirty thousand square feet in
room for almost five hundred more kids.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
You mean they're going to get rid of the trailers
out back, But why we're used to them, now them

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Meanwhile, in Middle.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
River, students are being shuffled around as some boundary changes
are being proposed to balance out the population some elementary
schools there. Also, if you see a steaming pile of
pooh in the Phoenix area, don't worry, it's fine.

Don't call authorities.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Unless you see flame.
Speaker 1 (02:00):

Kim Kardashian revealed she was diagnosed with an aneurysm caused
by stress from her divorce to Kanye West and psoriasis.
She's opening up about experiencing Stockholm syndrome. I know a
lot of people roll their eyes at the Kardashians, but
what I do want to point out is I think
it's very interesting that she's bringing to light the fact
(02:33):
that a stressful relationship or a stressful point in your
life can actually bring about health problems like that's important
to know. Reeba McIntyre will host the NBC's annual Christmas
and Rockefeller Center Special Live from New York December third.
The rest of the lineup will be announced soon. EA

who David Letterman? No, I mean somebody who's never been
a talker?
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Yeah, probably someone younger.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Okay, I'm just trying to think. I don't know who.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Jimmy Kimmel says that ABC made a mistake choosing him
instead of John Stewart to host Jimmy Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Oh I guess ABC execs were almost ready to sign
on the dotted line for John Stewart.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
But then Jimmy Kimmel was cheaper, and you.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Know he was just DJ. That's why he was cheaper.
He worked in radio. Yeah, so there you go. Now
you know the rest of the story. Shout out to
a couple of members of our team from the roll call.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, Kathy from Dina, this is Happy Friday. She's at
home today, feeling a little under the weather. Who if
you feel better? Someone said, I'm checking in from all
over ann Arundel Counties, slinging cookies.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Oh wow, I need to know more about this.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Lings this way.

So we're gonna open the lines up. We're gonna check
on traffic in a second, but we're gonna open the
lines up. And we want to know if you or
someone you know is in a bad way, in other words,
have been furloughed.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
Lost their job, no paycheck coming in.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
We have once aw those Snap benefits are going to
end in November, so you know, this is the perfect
time for us to start giving away free food thanks
to Safeway.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
One hundred dollars Safeway gift cards. We're opening the lines
up now eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety three.
We want to give one to someone who really deserves
it this hour, so make it good. We want to
hear about you know, what's going on in your world?
All right, now, let's check on real time traffic. What
is going on here, Bethany, Oh, not much.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
There's some latelift roadwork on College Drive at fifty.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Because Jack says yes, and Portband Auto Group at Jack
says yes.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Dot com Yeah, all right, let's go to the lines
here this morning, we're kicking off wpoc's Free Food Friday.
It's all brought to you by Safeway. And Mike, is
this about you?
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Said? This is not about you?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Huh No, it's not about me. It's about my wife.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Well, tell me what's going on.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
So she works for the federal government and we live
in like the Greater Baltimore County area, and she travels
to Virginia DC, Virginia every day. And she works for
the federal government, like I said, And she didn't find
out that she wouldn't be working one day until she
actually arrived at work an hour.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
And a half away. And on top of that, she.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Had worked the previous you know year in full, the
previous two weeks she was supposed to get paid and
she still hasn't gotten paid. And that was a month ago,
for the previous two weeks that she was supposed to
get paid. The day she showed up for work and
found out that she had been furloughed, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
And so and she was making this commute to work
back and forth for how long she been doing that?
Speaker 5 (06:30):
About fifteen years? Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Well listen and let me ask you this, do you
and what is your wife's first name? Do you want
to give it.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
That kind of Rose? All right? How long have you
and Rose been married?
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Luckily enough, twenty five years this December.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Wow, you have such a young sounding voice.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I'm surprised to hear that you must have gotten married
to you know, like in diapers.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
We were high school sweethearts.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
I'm forty five and she's forty four. Do you have
any children or is it just the two of you.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
We have adults, which you're out of the house, so gotcha.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
And and so without that paicheck from your wife coming in,
it's probably gotten pretty difficult, huh.
Speaker 6 (07:17):
It has because you know, obviously, as you know parents,
you know, even when your kids are gone, they have
their own sets of responsibilities, and you know you have
a little bit of the assumption of their responsibilities too,
so you always look at that caretaker and you know
you foresee their problems and there's always a responsibility to
worry about.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Well, we're gonna give you one hundred dollars Safeway gift card.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Which you can use.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I know it's not going to fix all the problems,
but it'll least help out things for you and Rose,
and we wish her the best of luck getting back
on her feet. And hopefully you can all figure it
out soon and it all gets settled and you know,
we can solve this problem.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
But we hope that helps all right. Thank you, Oh
my gosh, that means so much. Thank you, Thank you
very much.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Money Mike and Rose from Hailthorpe our first one hundred
dollars Safeway gift card for wpoc's free Food Friday.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
He could shot a goose k Jessey Yadabank's Sunraz.
Speaker 5 (08:15):

Speaker 2 (08:21):

Speaker 5 (08:25):
You don't know like you own music Road.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Well, yesterday I told you that Jelly Roll confessed to infidelity.
Today Bunny Xo is clapping back at the internet, just
days after her husband revealed this. He was on a
podcast earlier this week and he talked about cheating on
Bunny Xo back in twenty eighteen. Well, a lot of
people say they don't understand why jelly Roll and Bunny
(08:52):
Xo were able to make up. I mean, come on,
first off, isn't it their business? But Bunny Xo easily
explained why she chose to stay by her man. She
said quote growth is now weakness and went on to
say it actually takes a stronger woman to face pain
head on, do the work and rebuild with the man
(09:13):
she loves instead of running or gossiping. Those words from
Bunny Xo, and that is your Music City Minute.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
This go around ninety three point one w POC traffic messy.
All right, there's some late lift roadwork on College Drive
northbound between fifty and three oh one southbound is alternating traffic.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Looks like they're gonna have that cleaned up.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
But AZONI if you might have you might have heard
this earlier. This morning, Bethany came in with some really
fresh nails. You had the manny the petty and you've
got a that's a French manicure.
Speaker 4 (09:53):

Speaker 5 (09:55):
Buddy makes it.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
French by the way. I know that's what it's called,
just because the white tips, and you know I I
told that. But I wonder, what is it just a
style that's popular in France? Is it Probably not?
Speaker 5 (10:06):
It looks good with French Fries.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Probably has nothing to do with France. I don't know,
like French Fries have nothing anyway.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Michael Jane Bethany ninety three point one WPOC So you
have fresh nails.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Yeah, so French.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
So I was telling you that French manicures are back.
And I also saw this video about how low rise
jeans are back. Oh really like the super low rise ones,
uh huh. And then I saw this morning that Hamburger
Helper is back. I never knew it left, Like like
it's Hamburger helper sales were up fifty percent less. Yeah wow,
(10:42):
And so I just wondered, what what do you wish
was back? What do I I could probably do without
the low rise jeans. Yeah, but I was excited that
French manicures are back.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Well, i'll tell you what's back in my house. We
cut the cable, I can tell you that, and we're
back to like regular TV.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Just what's not regular? But it's regular these days smart
TV without a cable box.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
No, that doesn't count. That doesn't count. No, it's gonna
be something like that you used to have. I gotcha
that you have again back. Oh, I have something that's back.
I'm tripping over to my garage a box fan. All
summer long, I brought out the box fans. You know
what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Oh yeah, yeah, I have one at my house.
Speaker 5 (11:22):
Yeah that's totally old school.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah seven seven nine six two. Begin your message with
high or Hey, the chunky loafers that I had when
I was in high school. Like, I guess I can't
even remember who made them, but like they're like black,
shiny like loafer shoes. But did they have a heel
(11:44):
on them chunk, a big chunk, big chunky hel Yeah,
these are back and I love them.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
I loved them then and I love them now. I'm
here for it.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
As long as heels for guys don't come back. Do
you remember when the shoes for men used to have
a heel?
Speaker 5 (11:58):
I don't know. That's just not.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Because I think it's happening.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
It is.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yeah, No, all right, well I hope not. Well what
do you wish would come back? And if you want
to take a look at Bethanye's rock and nails, we
just put them up on our Instagram right you're putting
it up right now, putting it up right now at
Michael J and Bethany.
Speaker 5 (12:17):

J and Bethany. I didn't want to interrupt you, but
I had to jump on the air here real quick, ma'am.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
So what do you wish would come back? What do
you wish would come back?
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I wish that we had a generation where that case
would be hot wackoned and not wait for everything to
fall on the like.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
So your kids your kids are goofing off.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Huh No, not really.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
I mean this generation, these kids.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
You know what though, Hey Beth, and I'm going to
stand up for these kids these days.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
Thanks for calling it. Man.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Uh, I'm gonna stand up for kids because people are like,
kids are lazy. Kids aren't lazy. Kids are trying to
figure out what is going on in the world, just
like the rest of us. Yeah, I want to get
you know, seriously.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Some other things that are back. Somebody said potato shoes
are back. So they're like Birkenstock type like clog shoes.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
They are back.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Uh. Someone said I wish common sense would come back.
Actually two people said that brown, the color brown is back,
is it? Yeah, like in decor, in clothing. I actually
think that this is a hot take. Okay, popcorn ceilings,
textures coming back. Yeah, I was just looking at the
(13:50):
one that I have and everybody, yeah, everybody hates it,
but yeah, I think it's it's going to be back.
All the eighties decour is back from for like in
your house, like all white, remember they used to have
white couches and wait, yeah, acrylic furniture and oh.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
You know what's back.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
The Ravens are back after a bye week, and Roquan
Smith is back, and zach Orr is fired up about it. Listen,
wait a minute, go ahead, zach Orr, what do you
want to say?
Speaker 6 (14:15):
He's obviously he's one of the best linebackers in football
and you cannot take that away from him.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, he's back, Roquan Smith, He's playing against his old team,
the Bears. I'm hoping that's good news. Yeah, yeah, So
what else? I'm just what, you know, you're asking me
what's back? And I'm like, I know, I'm just was excited.
I'm trying to squeeze in the Ravens a little bit
here because you know what, because they're back. Okay, okay,
but you're thinking about things that are back, like vinyl
(14:42):
records are back, right?
Speaker 5 (14:44):
What else is back?
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Hopefully paychecks are going to.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Come back sometimes there until I hope.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
So yeah, I'm thinking of what else? What else is
it that?
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yep?
Speaker 5 (14:58):
Yeah, I don't. Polkadots don't rock my world.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
I can tell I don't. If you wanted to talk
about the Ravens.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
No, no, no, no, you were just my brain right away
goes to what I wish?
Speaker 5 (15:11):
You know, we're back, I hope we win?
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Uh huh?
Speaker 5 (15:15):
What else? I wish we're back? You know?
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I like manual transmissions. Yeah, I wish they would because
they kind of faded. Yeah, and most people these days
don't even have to drive one.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
But I don't know. I like sticks though, because I
do too.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
I just don't know if with like electric vehicles and
stuff like that, if can we have a manual Lady.
Speaker 5 (15:38):
Britten, that's kind of a bummer.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
I kind of like driving in I remember when I.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Was a kid and they said we're getting rid of
all convertibles.
Speaker 5 (15:46):

There's a seasoning called Batini.
Speaker 5 (16:09):
What's it called.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Bini?
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Tell us about it.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
It's a season that you used to make spaghetti sauce.
Speaker 4 (16:23):

down for Oh, Spatini, Spatini, Patini.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
She wants her Spatini back.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
What happened to it? Like Parsley, Like, I don't.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Know, you can't find it?
Speaker 4 (16:36):
Anymore.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
It has the seasonings in it that you would put
it in.
Speaker 6 (16:41):
I like tomato sauce to make your spaghetti sauce.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
What do we know about So I looked it up.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
It looks like it's a pizzeria type seasoning okay, with
like seven spices in it.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
Oh, I'm here for it.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Uh from texts bell Bottoms work ethic.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Well wait a minute, bell Bottoms are back, according to
Lady Wilson.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Right.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Oh yeah, but I Flynn. I just bought a pair
of flares yesterday. Right, they're coming back big. Somebody said
I wish trick or treating and neighborhoods would come back.
No more trunk er treats or campground trick or treating.
I kind of agree with this, Like there are now
like instead of one night of trick or treating, now
you have to go to like three different I gotta
(17:21):
go to the trunker treat at the church. I gotta
go to the trunk or treat at the school. I
gotta go to the nah Like I get you. That
was a good one. Oh. Someone said you can buy

didn't even know about.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
We're learning stuff today.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
And I'm also hearing from someone who doesn't want to
be named, but she apparently likes drink or treat. Oh
do you know that that's the adult way to celebrate Halloween?
Speaker 4 (17:48):
