Ninety five point one WayV. It'sMike and Diane and Joey Fittone from in
Sync. Hey Joey, how youdoing good? We are so excited you're
coming to Atlantic City this Friday nightOcean Casino Resort with AJ McLain from the
Backstree Boys. That is going tobe a legendary night, for sure.

(00:21):
It is a legendary. We've beenhaving such a darn blast. You have
no idea. It's been in sucha great time. You know, we've
been doing this now, gosh, almost a couple of months now. We've
we've had like we only first putout like ten dates. I believe we
added like thirty now it's almost likeup the forty dates that we've been doing
these shows. And it's just afun show. When people say it,

(00:41):
you know you listening to actual boyssongs, You're hearing INSYNCT songs. There's
a whole bunch of songs in between. We have this dice that we this
big blow up die that we throwout in the audience. It rolls around
when the music stops, almost likehot potato. We actually have a list
of different random songs that every nightwe pretty much change them so every night
you're seeing a different, you know, different show that you never know what's
really going to happen. We throwin some eighties two and some nineties tunes.

(01:03):
It's it's just such a great timeto go down memory Lane and have
a blast. It honestly just soundslike more of a party for you guys.
Yeah, like it sounds shit foryou guys. Basically, I don't
blame you if we're keeping it going. It does sound like a lot of
fun. Well, you know what, Me and AJ are really hams.
We love. We love to perform. I mean that's something that we've We've

(01:23):
always wanted to do things together. We've done a few shows together where it
was kind of like a rap packidea. I did it in Vegas where
it was myself, Wanie Morris fromBoys to Men, Nick Carter, and
AJ. We did a four nightstint kind of a proof of concept.
This idea came up because prior tothat, I was doing a show called
Joey Patona Friends. So it wasmyself and then other celebrities that I've had.
So we started doing that and thenit was like me and AJ did

(01:44):
this show and I was like, hey, want you to do this show.
We'll do like a ninety show, see if it works, maybe kind
of a proof of concept, andif it works well, maybe let's let's
take this on the road. Yeah, and that's kind of how it happened.
We did that one in Tampa withlike a ninety show, and then
we did it for a corporate eventat F one in Vegas, and we're
like, you know what, let'stry and see if this works for corporate
as well. Obviously our age bracketis right around that area now it's in

(02:06):
thirties and forties. So it workedout very well. So again, like
I said, we we kind ofput this out tour and it's been great.
It's the plest Well, speaking ofage bracket, you hit you hit
me dead on I'm thirty seven,So there you go. Prom I thought
you guys hated each other. Whathappened the nineties. Rivalry is not alive.
Never We never really hated each other, just that they just never put

(02:27):
us together in a sense that everybodywas. You know, I guess obviously
we have the same management team andyou want, you know, financially and
you know, gaining momentum, youknow, you put them against each other
you say, all right, well, since you know in Sync is doing
Coca Cola, actually should do PEPSI, in Sing's doing McDonald's, let me
actually do burger. Yeah, itwas that back in the day. It

(02:47):
really wasn't any I think the onlyanimosity was a j and Chris they had
they both dated the same girl, but it was different times. Reason why
they had the beef it was butthen it wasn't even like an overlap.
They would be completely separate times. So that was really the only honest thing
that ever was like are you guys? But other than that, no,

(03:08):
we're pretty good. I mean, like I said, Aja is very mean,
and were very similar in the senseof performing and getting out there and
just love doing what we do andhonestly, and we say this every time
in the show, and it's thetruth. You know, we don't have
to do this show, you know, we we really love doing something like
this and we want to kind oflike thank the fans for always being for

(03:28):
for myself as far as a groupin and backstreets. So it's kind of
a cool thing to see in Syncand Battreet Boys fans together in the same
room, which is interesting too.No fight yet, Thank goodness. Yet
half the room singing half the songs, the other half is singing the other
half. Like I'm holding this rivalrynow. You know, it's really amazing

(03:50):
because it's like some people have written, you know, messages and DM saying
listen, I've never been an enSync fan, but wow, I mean,
what are great songs or vice Versa'slike I've never been in or I've
never been an AJ fan and nowa jfanor I have never been a showy
fan and now I am. It'sreally cool to see that. It's fun.
That is awesome. Do you havea favorite and Sync song and favorite
Backstreet Boys song? Are they likebabies where you can't pick your favorite in

(04:13):
the show that we do too well. The favorite en Sync one that I
do and I think it's just funis I do Tearing Up my Heart,
but I do it more of ajazz version of it. Hopefully clip it
and spin it. And that's theother thing that we do. We do
experiment. We'll try to do differentsongs and flip it. We do the
call Backstreet Boy the Call, butit's more of a Latin version as well.
But the one I love is Tearingat my Heart and then the other

(04:34):
one I do which one is it? We do a whole bunch of love
ballads, but I think the BackstreetBoy for me is got I gotta think
the name of the song of itthough A quick playing games quiplings my heart.
Oh that's a great one. That'sgreat one. And you have that
sound. That's my favorite. Youhave that seven piece live band, so
it's nice that you can change itup. Yeah, well, that's the

(04:54):
greatest thing about the band. Wecan start, we can stop. We
have a horn section. We haveI love with a live man because you
can stop and start anytime. Yeah, we do that. We you know,
we we play songs that is likeI said, when we do these
dice songs, we don't sing thewhole song. We'll sing like a verse
chorus, verse, and then allright, let's go next song and we'll
rip that because we want to getas many songs as we can in which

(05:15):
is which is a blast, LikeI said, he even like AJ does
like on the list, we havelike no diggities on there. We Transvestite
from Rocky Horror Picture Show. Wedo like Little Mermaid from the Part of
Your World Live by Little Mermaid again, it's all these random dice songs that
we do and then again again betweenwe do of course the love balance by
in singing Backstreet and a whole bunchof other fun stuff that I don't want

(05:39):
to give away, but yeah,it's great again. We're talking to Joey
Fatone from and saying, talk abouthis show coming up, and I gotta
be honest, Joey, I'm gonnabe there with my wife. I'm concerned
that my wife will fall back intothe one time I saw her loser mind,
which was a Backshoot Boys concert. She's she's the most cool, calm,
collected girl I've ever met in mylife. I took to a Backshot

(06:00):
Boys concert and we were in thepit. She plays herself on that stage
and she's like, this is mytime for me. I will say,
it is pretty amazing to see alot of the women that come out and
see the shows because they revert backto their childhood when they were younger,
and it's it's it's quite amazing tosee grown women, Like when you look

(06:21):
at that, you see like justthere their innocence is a child remembering these
songs, yes, and taking themback to those places. Yeah, and
it's it's it's truly a great feeling, it really is. It's just one
of those things where it's like, you know, little is take you back,
you know, give us two anda half hours, ninety minutes just
to have fun and enjoy yourselves, you know. And so many people have
said that, and again that's kindof why we keep doing this show,

(06:43):
and people like, well, whatare you doing because obviously for me myself,
I'm not promoting a song or analbum or anything else. That's literally,
let's do this tour. Let's havesome fun and and and let's just
show the people just thanking them, say they thanks for being there for us
fun. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. And speaking of this nostalgia and lore,
Joey, this is going to besomething that I'm going to throw at

(07:03):
you that has lived in lore inmy high school friends group chat for a
very long time. Okay, wehave no idea why. In two thousand
and five I graduated high school. At our homecoming football game in Coltsneck High
School, we looked on the sidelineand Joey Fatone is standing on the sideline

(07:24):
of the Cultneck High School homecoming game. Really, and we have no idea.
Why I have waited twenty years toask you what's going on? So?
Where was I again? I wasgoing to say, do you remember
this? You were at a highschool football game in central New No,

(07:48):
I don't. Might have it mighthave been, hey, where was it
again? Colts Neck High School inMammoth County, New Jersey. Wow,
I gotta remember. I couldn't eventell you. I might have been there
for it. Maybe it is afew times, a dance competition, maybe
from a family member. It couldhave been a football game. I remember
one time I did a pillow fight. Literally, kid, Remember where the

(08:09):
heck? I was in some collegestadium. It was random. I'm trying
to think of what. I don'teven know. Yeah, when we performing,
No, there was two thousand andfive, so we we I just
remember all of us looked down andsomebody was like, is that Joey Fatone?
Like, now you know what?It might have been my, my,
my, uh my cousin. Mighthave been the doctor for the football

(08:31):
team I loved. It might havebeen like I can't remember, it was
like a physical therapist something. Imight have went to the game. It
was you Where was it Exacts Jerseyor something? That Colts New Jersey Colt
snack. But it's a possibility.Now that you're saying that, I'm trying
to remember, I'm like, goshlythat was minutes ago. I wouldn't mind
knowing more about the pillow fight. And we can find out about that next

(08:54):
EID. It was then Guinness Booka World record pillow fight. They had
I think somebody else already be it, but we did it to where it
was in like in the stadium, and then they had all these little pillows
and Motel eight did it to wherewe did a pillow. You know what
I remember as I do the thingsI do people. Yeah, I know
you're also voicing the voice of familyfew ye yes. Also I watch Common

(09:18):
Knowledge all the time on Game ShowNetwork, and my hubby and I go,
my, You're welcome. My hubbyand I go around the house saying
it is. I love it.Do you have any more game shows coming
up? Because I think you're fantastic. Love I'd love to do more game
shows. Well, how to blastdoing those shows? You know, it's
it's a combination of of of Wellsometimes it's time consuming. This it takes

(09:41):
a big chunk out. But however, you get the shows done fast.
I mean I was doing six showsa day, five days a week,
for about two and a half morths. We bang out. We banged that
about one hundred and thirty episodes. It is, it is, it is
not. It's no joke. Imean we're literally doing six shows a day.
They take about an hour's show, and then you're constantly I'm constantly reading
prompters and hearing people in my earand like after the third or fourth show,

(10:03):
you bring such a well it's alittle little wacky, yeah, but
you know, you manage. Butit's a blast. I mean again,
I'd love to do that. I'min the works of possibly doing some other
television shows, just little things inthe works, trying to figure that out.
Hopefully it'll work. But navigating throughlife and doing this show has been
has been a blast. Like againfor me. Now I get to pick
and choose kind of the things thatI want to do. I don't really

(10:24):
have to do them, thank goodness. But I love performing, love entertaining.
So hopefully down the future I'll beable to do some more shows,
and maybe I'll be I'd love togo back to Broadway as well. That's
all to do. Yes, definitely, we want you and brought back to
Broadway. I love it. Younever know. That's what I love about
you, Joey Fatone. You're amultifaceted, multi talented and we're going to
