Marc gets the show rolling discussing things he wishes didn't fade away, rather it be a certain snack or drink! He then gets to Julio Rodriguez who is still struggling, former MLB GM Steve Phillips declared that he’s “disappointed” in Rodríguez. The 2022 AL Rookie of the Year entered May hitting only .207 with four home runs, 14 RBI, and a .681 OPS over 139 plate appearances.“I still like him as a player,” Phillips said. “[There’s] still a spot for him, but I don’t think he’s the aircraft carrier that you’re going to need in the middle of the lineup.”Phillips said he expected Rodríguez to become a “mega-offensive star” after a sensational first season. Rodríguez posted 6.2 bWAR and a .853 OPS for the 2022 Mariners, leading them to their first playoff berth since 2001. We wrap the hour with Hitting to all fields as Bill Belichick is still in the news for all the wrong reasons.

I am, my blood is still I'm on a euphoric
natural high. Oh God, there's nothing like playoff basketball. Oh,
Jalen Brunson. I love you, I really love you. Never
in my life as a New York Knicks fan have
I ever we ever had a player like Jalen freaking

(00:40):
Brunson and to hit a three pointer where down last
night it didn't look good, and he just he really is.
That's why he was voted the most clutch player of
the league. I love the fact that the NBA has
an award for that because he's earned it and he
continues to earn it. He's the most clutch player in
sports right now. I don't know anybody more clutch than

(01:01):
Jalen Brunson, anyone and any sport name it, NFL, NHL,
Major League, baseball. I'm gonna sound like an owl here,
but who who Who's more clutch than Jalen Brunson in sports?
Right now? I'll wait. I'm still waiting, and I'm still
waiting nobody. And if you're missing, if you missed it

(01:23):
last night, you're missing the hell of a playoffs. We
got Game seven coming up tomorrow afternoon, Clippers Nuggets, So
the NBA Playoffs are in full swing obviously here before
I get to the Huge Series starting in Texas tonight,
five oh five, first pitch, local time here in Seattle,

(01:45):
I was thinking about so a total random thing, but
I want to get your thoughts on this. The voice
text line always open on the new and improved iHeart
Radio app. You can hit the microphone icon button on
ninety three to three kjar and you can leave a
voice text. You can also do it on the free

(02:05):
agent text line at four nine, four or five to one.
So one of my favorite ice creams growing up was
heath Bar Crunch, made by Ben and Jerry's. And for
some unknown reason, some stupid reason, they stopped making heath
Bar Crunch. They stop it was vanilla heath Bar Crunch,

(02:28):
So it's vanilla ice cream with heath Bar Crunch. It
was fantastic. It was my one of my favorite ice creams,
along with Briar's Rocky Road. I don't know if they
have Briar's ice cream up here. That's a big thing
on the East Coast, so that was also a favorite.
I love Coldstone Cake Batter ice cream, the Banana ice cream,

(02:50):
Chunky Monkey by Ben and Jerry's, Pistachio by Ben and Jerry's.
But they stopped making vanilla heath Bar Crunch. And it's
just do you ever have an item that you loved
and it doesn't have to be food. It can be
hair gel, it could be deodorant, it could be a cologne,

(03:10):
it could be anything that for whatever reason, it was
completely discontinued and your life has been altered because of it,
and you don't like it. Briar's ice Cream used to
make the best Rocky Road ice cream I've ever had
in my life, and then about three years ago they

(03:33):
changed the ingredients and I can't even eat it anymore.
I don't know why they did it. I was gonna
call them. I was going to complain to them and
be like, why did you change the ingredients? Because it's
nowhere near as good as it used to be. But
is there anything out there that you loved that they
used to make that was so great that they don't

(03:55):
make anymore. Think about that honey mustard snack wrap McDonald's
honey mustard snack crap. Wow, I don't even remember that.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
It was a grilled I used to always get it grilled.
You can get it grilled or crispy, and I got
the grilled honey mustard snack wrap. And when I tell
you Mark, wow, I used to lick my lips. Oh,
in astonishment. This sounds like you were the foot fetish.
This sounds like you were this was this was uh okay,
this was biblical. Yeah, you know, but listen, I get it.

(04:24):
I I completely get it. You're just like listen, I'm
growing up. In the nineties, they had this cereal made by.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I believed it wasn't Kellogg's brand. It was Post and
it was called s'mores crunch cereal. Now I discovered at
fred Meyer they make a brand. They make a cereal
somewhat comparable to s'mores crunch, and it's just called s'moores

(04:55):
cereal and it's made by Post. It's his honeymade. So
it's like Graham crackers. They have the chocolates and they
and the white marshmallows and I've had it. I've got
I just went through three boxes in the last three weeks.
It's phenomenal. So it's the closest thing I can get
to smorts crunch. When I saw it, I'm like, gotta
try that one. That's gonna bring me back to my

(05:17):
Oh here's another one. I'm the connoisseur of orange soda.
They used to have this, two of them. The best
orange sodas ever Orange crush. I still drink religiously, so
I love orange crush. They used to do Minute made
orange soda. Oh so when I moved to Seattle and

(05:40):
I saw that Minute Made because I thought they discontinued
Minute made orange juice in the paper cartons. And then
I went to a grocery store I think it was Safeway,
and they carry them there. I'm like, great, well, maybe
they carry Minute made orange soda still too. No to
no avail. No Minute made orange soda there, No, And
they also orange slow was the real deal too. And

(06:01):
regular slice Slice was the competitor in sprite for a while.
Slice and Orange Slice were the truth stop continuing it?
I mean they discontinued it, both of them. I don't
know why. Don't get it? So yeah, so did ever
something that you just you're like, God, I wish they

(06:26):
still made that sort of thing. If any of you
out there had, oh, Jello frozen pudding, pops yep, shout
out to Bill Cosby. And by the way, only because
he was the endorser. He was the endorser. Oh wow,
we're getting a ton of them. How about uh go
get a heath Bar blizzard at Dairy Queen. Yes, Briar's

(06:48):
is here. Ooh, all right, Briar's is up here in
the state of Washington at about every grocery store. Okay,
didn't know that? Well, did any of you notice that
that you did? Do you remember the way Rocky Road
ice cream used to taste prior to the last four years.

(07:09):
It changed and it used to lead, It used to
have this great like with the child. And it's something
that they did with the I think, I don't know
if it was almonds or wall I don't know. And
it was so good And as soon as I saw
the outside of the that they did a new packaging,

(07:30):
I said, oh, did they changed the recipe? And they did.
Someone said the old butterfinger, the old butterfinger candy bar. Yes,
did they not make butterfingers anymore?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
I didn't know that, Andy capp sal surfries. Oh, those
are the truth. I didn't like the salt of the
or too spicy. I like the cheese fries. I like
the cheese fries. Costco sausage Pasta. I have a big list,
but I'll leave one. Hoggin Dawes used to have vanilla
fudge with vanilla ice cream with hot fudge throughout it. Swirl.

(08:06):
I haven't seen it in years, and I work frozen
in a grocery store. Damn well, butterfingers change their recipe.
Not nearly as good now, but it's still around. We
also have Skaggots, best company here in the state of Washington.
Gotta try it. Oh, don't you worry about that one.
I've gotten in with Skaggots, trust me, believe you me.

(08:31):
Oh yeah, Skaggots and MJ in the Midday could be
doing some business pretty soon. Crystal Clear Pepsi, Oh, that
was just ough. They brought back slice. Unfortunately it's a
probiotic soda now. It's Safeway in the produce section. Ough ough,
Jolt Cola. No, they still make that. They make ruby

(08:53):
red squirt. It's super hard to find easily. My favorite soda,
KFC had the Twister Trick chicken wrap in tortilla with cheese. Okay, man,
you guys are Apple Slice. Oh I don't even remember
Apple Slice. I don't even remember Apple Slice. Ulrickson text
in crispy wheats and raisin cereal oh oh yeah, and

(09:18):
I'll agree with you in the four two five real
original Coca Cola with real sugar is far superior to
what is sold in the States. Well, they make it. It's
called Mexican coke, and not the Mexican coke like you
would think as the show on Narco's Narcos Mexico. Not
that kind of coke that you sniff, the kind of
coke that you drink. Mexican coke gets carried everywhere. I'm

(09:41):
sure Costco. There's not Sam's Club up here in Washington.
But but just get Mexican coke. I've seen it a Safeway,
I've seen it all. Hostess used to be made by Hostess. Obviously,
it's made by Little Debbie now and it's not near
as good as what it used to be, the original
taco flavored, not the modern flavor. Two six. Yeah, so

(10:03):
you guys are with me on things that used to
be carried that. Yeah, yeah, you guys are with me.
Swanson's chicken pot pie. Oh those were great, Oh, Mark
two o six, you are a grown man gushing over
s'mores kids cereal and candy flavored ice cream. And you

(10:24):
wonder why Belichick still likes the taste of sugar. Well,
hey listen, we all like the taste of that sugar now.
I mean, hey, listen, I'm all for Bill living his
best life. And because if he wasn't the hoodie, if
he wasn't the goat of football coaches, she wouldn't be
with him. I'm all for that part. I just did
you hear what Charles Barkley said about Bill Belichick. He

(10:46):
said he's gonna try to get in touch with him
because he's worried about him. Dude, Like, let me just
tell you this. He's in a cult. He has been
completely brainwashed by this individual. And I'm being nice calling
an individual because you know what she is, right, Like
Kanye said, I messing with no Gold digger. I mean,

(11:08):
we know what she is, but he is get. He
has allowed himself to become. That's a whole nother thing.
We oh, we'll have that coming up and hitting the
all fields. We got some sound on that. We got
some sound on that. Oh is it Skaget, it's not.

(11:28):
I don't know this guy's so scadget skadget. Okay, scadget. Well,
I didn't know. I'm new, all right, just saying Mexican
co comes and bottle glass bought. Yes it does, Yes,
it does. All right. So with that being said, I
please continue to text. In the four nine four to

(11:49):
five one four nine four five to one Teddy ballgame,
here I caught the that was funny. Choco taco ice cream.
Oh yeah, those things were good. Those things are really good. Listen.
You can still get fudgicles. They're made by Popsicle brand.
But it says there's no sugar in them. And I'm like, well,

(12:10):
that's not good if there's no sugar in them. Please no, no, no, hmm.
All right. So I came into Seattle about three months
ago with what I called objective perspective, and I have
the ability to look at things from the outside looking in,
even though I'm on the inside looking out. But it's

(12:33):
nice to be validated and vindicated, especially by a former
Major League Baseball general manager of the Mets, Steve Phillips,
who went on the Mitch Unfiltered podcast this week. Is
that Mitch Levy. Oh it is Oh, shout out to
Mitch Levy. I like Mitch Levy. He's a tremendous talent.

(12:53):
A lot of people have compared me to him, so
I take that with a huge, huge compliment. Steve Phillips
declared he's quote disappointed in Rodriguez. I still like him
as a player, Philip said, there's still a spot for him,
but I don't think he's the aircraft carrier that you're
going to need in the middle of the lineup. Phillips

(13:14):
said he expected Jay rod to become a quote mega
offensive star after a sensational first season. Phillips went on
to say, we think about the people the way they
teach us to think about them, and he taught me
that he had the personality, he had the charisma, he

(13:35):
had the bat, he had the big at bats, he
had the big moments. He was that guy that was
going to be everything. Then he goes on to say,
I'm not giving going to give up hope yet, but
it's dwindling for me a little bit. Of course, we
know that Jay Rod gets off to horrific starts to

(13:58):
the season, career ops of six forty two coming into
this season, and right now, well, let's just say he
is disappointing two oh seven fourteen RBI, six eighty one
ops and one hundred and thirty nine plate appearances. So

(14:20):
it's nice to be vindicated and validated. And I'm, by
the way, I'm not just saying this for me, I'm
saying for all of you out there that have been
that have been on Julio, that we seem to be
the only ones out there calling this thing out. And
here we are, and you know, the song remains the same,
just is now maybe he'd turn it on, Maybe he will,

(14:43):
but six eighty one ops and one hundred and forty
played appearances. Gotta do better, bro, You got a huge contract,
major contract, And can I just ask everybody one thing?
Why did Girard give who Leo a contract for two
hundred and nine point three million dollars when he was

(15:05):
still under club control for a couple more years. Why
do that. I don't get it. I just didn't get it.
He was under club control. He couldn't have gone anywhere,
done anything, and you gave him the money. So now
you give him the money, and he once he got
the money, what's happened. Nothing's happened. He's been trash, absolute garbage.

(15:32):
So backed up by a former Major League Baseball general
manager who has nothing to lose because he's not trying
to impress anybody. And you know, he said, quote, I'm
not going to give up hope yet, but it's dwindling
for me a little bit. You know. It's it is
what it is, man, it is what it is. But

(15:55):
now I'll give him credit. Only twenty seven players had
a high war and his seven thirty four ops was
still above the seven to eleven league average. And he's
two seasons removed from joining the thirty thirty club at
twenty two years old. But it's time, Julio, and let
it be time right now, right now, to get things going.

(16:21):
Keep the text coming of things that are they are discontinued,
that you miss from not even your childhood, just maybe
a few years ago. Keep that coming, please, we want
to hear that. Well, you know what happens. You know

(16:42):
what happens when you challenge a professional athlete in his
domain and somebody's dad has found that out the hard way.
We will get to that coming up next right here
on MJ in the midday, Bob Nightingale from USA today

(17:05):
will join us. Coming up at noon, Bob Nightingale at noon,
we will talk to him about Julia Rodriguez and the
Red Hot Mariners, so much more right here on MJ
in the midday, ninety three to three kJ R F
m SO. John Haliburton came out and he's apologized on

(17:27):
social media after the game, but he also made a
statement to a TV station. Here's what he's had to say.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
It might have seemed like I was looking at him,
but I really was. I was looking through him.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
That's how it was.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
In the moment.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
I know, it looked like we were looking like I
would stare him down, you know, But it wasn't like that.
It was in the moment if I were looking right
through it. And yes, I had the bandler in my
hand going and I was.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yelling yay, yay, yay.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
Jannis never said anything to me. I never said anything
to Yannis. There was no back and forth, but that
changed when Jannis went face to face with John near
his baseline seats a few moments later. He grabbed my hands.
He put his poor head on my poor head, and
he said, don't disrespect me. Don't effing disrespect me, okay,

(18:24):
And I said to him, I was not trying to
disrespect you, which I wasn't. I'm telling you, I did
not do that on purpose. I really did not. And
then I said to him, I love you. He said
back to me, I love you. We patted chest, he
gave us a thumbs up, and he walked away.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
So I watched the video again. Everything John Haliburton said
corresponds with the video. So here's what I have an
issue with. There is a decision made by the PACER's
front office that Halliburton cannot attend Pacers games for the

(19:07):
rest of the playoffs on at home or on the road.
And I'm like, I think it's a little bit overboard here.
I mean, okay, they got into it and everything he said.
Jannis did put his head against John Halliburton's head and
they had some words. But he will not attend the

(19:30):
team's home and road games for the foreseeable future. That's
a little harsh and a little drastic to me. His son.
Come on, man, now, if something like that happened again, sure,
but like, really, you're gonna stop a dad from going

(19:53):
to see his son play and maybe a possible run
to the NBA Finals. I don't know, man, I think
that's a little harsh on that one. I really do.
I I agree. I don't like any fans, whether it's
a regular fan or specially a family member of a

(20:19):
player getting into it with another player, but you're not
allowed to go to the games.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
It sends a message though.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
It does. Oh, it certainly does. That's true, and.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
I think John understands that. I don't think he's taking
a big issue with it because when you watched the
when we first talked about it, right when we first
had a discussion, we were thinking that, you know, he
was yelling in his face at that moment. He really
didn't even think about you. He's just on the court,
which he probably shouldn't be if you're gonna be on
the court. I can see if he's on the court
with his son, because that's different. But Yanna's is standing there,

(20:53):
and when you're watching the video for the first time,
which we saw on Monday it appeared or whatever day
it was, it appeared that he was a Giannis. So
from a league perspective, I understand why they did it.
Sure it might have been harsh, but the good news
is it's only for this playoffs. It's not forever they're
gonna be.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
But here's the thing, and they could. They could definitely
make a run to the NBA finals. They could. So
here's my thing. If they make a run to the finals,
that that it probably will get recent. I would hope.
So I think it would. I think they would probably.
I think that will happen. So he's gonna be on
his best. I mean, like, dude, this is you know, listen,
life is short. If now, if if he took a

(21:32):
swing at Gianni's, okay, then you're done forever. They just
had words. It was just words and they.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
And they I love you. I love you too, And
you know, I'm happy that it into that way that
when I watched it the first time, I was like, oh,
this is really bad. Look but now that I have
context from both Jiannis and John Holly Burton, that is,
I see it and I get why the NBA did it,
because they don't want this to be a situation where
they let him off the hook and then it happens again.
Because now, if you're a parent of a player that's

(22:01):
in the NBA, or even a fan that think, oh,
I can't just do this and they're just going to
kick me out for the rest of the postseason, think again, right,
they went off easy because that is his dad.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
If that was a.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Regular fan, your banned forever probably for doing something like that. Sure,
So I think I just is just setting the tone like, hey, okay,
pharanoughn't appreciate what this how this went down. We understand
now that we see him both and you know what,
maybe they see this video and they're like, oh, maybe
we we can probably bring him back after Game four
or something.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Right, who knows how this ends. But I okay, fair enough.
I just I think that the punishment does not fit
and there's no crime. It just was a very unfortunate
incident that took place. A father, and I'll even say
that he was the antagonist, John Haliburton, I'll say he was.
With that being said, Jannis did put his head against

(22:52):
John's forehead and like not headbutt, but he put it
together and listen. Neither one was in right. John was
more in the wrong. But let's have the punishment fit
the crime. I just my thing is that, and I
don't want the Pacers to make a run the finals.
They make a run the finals. I mean, dude, your
son's one of the best players in the league. I
think Adam Silver just said, Okay, John, you're on a

(23:15):
ZTP zero tolerance policy. You cannot I mean, you can
heckle you, you know whatever, during games, but you cannot,
you know, approach a player during a game, before a game,
after a game. Just keep it cool. Now. His son
came on and was quoted and said he said he

(23:36):
didn't know what happened till he got back to the
locker room. He said, I don't agree with what transpired there.
From him, Tyres the Sun said, quote, Basketball's basketball, let's
keep it on the court. I just think he got
excited saw his son make a game winner and came
on the court. But we had a conversation. He needs
to just allow me to play basketball and stay over
there and I'll come to him to celebrate. But the

(23:58):
emotions of the game got exc I did there. I
talked with him. I'll talk with Giannis. I don't think
my pops was in the right at all there perfect.
I mean, kudos to Tyres for playing the mediator and
the peacemaker and saying my dad was in the wrong.
I'm gonna talk to you. It's all good now. If,
like I said, if there was any type of you know,

(24:19):
physical assault or even just an attempt of whatever, then
then I change everything. But just it's just slapping gums man,
just guy trash talking, and you know, and Yannis also
engaged too. He wasn't completely innocuous in this situation. But yeah,

(24:42):
the father was charged up. He was on a you
floor high hell. I mean, you know what if I
was at the Nick's Pistons game last night after Jalen
Brunson hit that shot, I might have been talking trash
to JB. Bickerstaff on his way out. I wouldn't have, like,
you know, i'd been a distance said yeah how about that?
How about Den Apples? You know I would have done that.

(25:02):
And I'm not related to Jalen Brunson. You know, I
don't know. It's just I don't know. Let the old
man go see his son play and just let him know.
You are on a zero tolerance policy from here on out.
John Halliburton, there's a way to do things, and there's
a way to do things, and you know, I just
think let's not but yeah, they have to make an

(25:23):
example and cite him, so anybody else, because yes, hey,
believe it or not, NBA players do have entourages and
things could get worse, and they wanted to nip this
in the bud. So I see where Adam Silver airing
on the side of caution. But just let the let
the let the old man go see his son play
in the Eastern Conference semifinals. And then if they make it,

(25:44):
I think they're gonna beat Cleveland and make it to
the Eastern Conference Finals. So just let's not make this
a set in stone, all right? Coming up next to
story that will not go away, And yeah, Dave Portnoy
also has now been dragged into it. We'll tell you
what it's all about right here on MJ in the

(26:06):
Midday ninety three to three. kJ Artham Prood casting live
from the R and R Foundation Specialist Broadcast Studio.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Now back to MJ in the Midday on your home
for the Huskies.

Speaker 6 (26:19):
Kraken Han Sounders Sports Radio ninety three point three KJR FM.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
All right, the text keep coming in on the text
line dark chocolate, KitKat, diet Mountain Duke, code red peanut
butter twigs. Oh yeah, I remember peanut butter twicks.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Those those are the truth.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
Man.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
MJ Slice is now a quote healthy soda company. They
actually sell it by individual cans check Safeway. I got
the grape there yesterday, super good. All right, you guys
know man deep fried cherry pie at McDonald's. Oh, I
vaguely remember that Necho wafers Necho way first, Yes, do

(27:02):
you remember those? Didn't like those though? All right, hitting
the all fields. So this story when Charles Barkley is
commenting on the greatest sports studio show in the history
of television, Inside the NBA on TNT with Ernie, Charles
Kenny and Shaq about the Bill Belichick Jordan Hudson situation,

(27:24):
saying I need to contact Bill because I think he's
you know, I'm worried about him. And he Barkley was
serious too. This was no ha ha ha moment. He's like,
I really need to get in touch with him. So
you know, it's big time. Well. Dave Portnoy, owner founder
of Barstool Sports. It's on a podcast on one of

(27:47):
Barstool's many podcasts with a former colleague of mine, Kirk
Minihan in Boston, and here they are talking about Bill
bell checks. I wouldn't call her better half, but certainly
his new boss. Jordan Hudson. The first time I ever
discussed it was with you, Dave, during Surviving. I think

(28:08):
it was like whatever. That was late August, early September.
We were talking.

Speaker 6 (28:11):
You said, yeah, we were trying to get Belichick to
do a podcast, and you said you had to go
through his girlfriend the entire time.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Not as much then.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
That was early.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
I did tell you that I was at an event
I had met Jordan and it was clear she ran
the show.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Was it clear that she was crazy?

Speaker 2 (28:29):
No? Really?

Speaker 4 (28:30):
I mean, is it clear to you now that she
has some issues. I don't know what's going on. I mean,
let me put this way.

Speaker 8 (28:36):
I know her and I know him, and I'm gonna
see them I'm sure in Nantucket and she sees everything
that is said.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Now, Am I afraid of her?

Speaker 5 (28:44):
No?

Speaker 8 (28:45):
Am I gonna sit here and really go out and
be like, She's the craziest person I've ever seen?

Speaker 3 (28:49):
No?

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Because I don't want to be off or I'm.

Speaker 8 (28:51):
Carrying my watermelon from stopping shop and I can bump
into her.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Water and bailing from stopping shop. Stop and shop reference.
I love it, Oh boy love stop and shop up
in New England.

Speaker 7 (29:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Portnoy's not gonna go there. He's known Bill Belichick for
a very long time, a very long time. Yeah, it
is what it is, man, it's gotten pretty bad. So
the aforementioned Kirk Minihan calls Bill Belichick's general manager for

(29:35):
the University of North Carolina football program, Mike Lombardi. We
all know Mike Lombardi, formerly of Eson where I still
probably has something to do with Esen. He's always got
his hands in a bunch of different cookie jars. So
Kirk Minihan calls Mike Lombardi live on the air, and
this one speaks volumes.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
Well, Mike, it's Kirk manha barsol sports. How are you?

Speaker 2 (30:03):
I'm good, good, Kirk.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
Live the tape. We have questions we're trying to figure
out out. We've been talking about it. We talked about
Portnoim and they go, can you explain to us what
this woman's role is?

Speaker 4 (30:12):
And you with you on cere We're just confused.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Actually, I'm in a meeting right now going over recruiting,
so that's kind of worth My focus is right now.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
How significant role does she have with the recruiting at
this point?

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Does she?

Speaker 4 (30:24):
Is she the lead recruiter or.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
No, I'm in recruiting.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
Yeah, and I'm working on that.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
So that's about it.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
Kirk.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
Thanks, all right, Mike Hanging, They're good to talk to you. Yeah,
got a laugh he picked up hold on in me
in mine, but I think we ended okay.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
All right, so there it is. Yeah, he started laughing,
And uh man, it is. It's not going away because
this has become after that CBS Sunday Morning debacle where
it made her look like this tyrant who is basically
controlling him like she's the puppet, she's the puppet master

(31:03):
and he's a puppet. That this thing's not going away
anytime soon at all. So, m man, that is tough times,
tough times right now. If you're the hoodie. I wish
him well, I really do. It's amazing since she started
dating him a few months ago, her real estate portfolio
has all of a sudden come out of nowhere from

(31:23):
zero dollars to over eight million dollars worth of property. Gee,
I wonder how that happened. It's amazing, man, amazing. You
know what, Hey, it's the American way, right, You find
a way to get rich and famous no matter what
in this world. And it's been going on. She's the
modern day Anna Nicole Smith. And for those of you

(31:46):
over the age of thirty five, you know who I'm
talking about. She's the new Anna Nicole Smith. But Anna
Nicole Smith was pretty like open about it. She's like, yeah,
you know what, I'm marrying Jay Howard Marshall, who's ninety three,
because you know, I want his fortune. It was nobody
knew who j Howard Marshall. He was this rich old

(32:07):
man who was on his deathbed. Now this is Bill Belichick.
So people are concerned. But the more and more this
continues to be a story, the more and more the
NFL will distance and sell from Bill Belichick, and his
career will end. And here's another thing too. And I've
studied enough about colts to know that they usually say

(32:30):
someone comes into your life at a very vulnerable time.
So I started to connect the dots. Bill Belichick got
fired after the twenty twenty three New England Patriots season
by Robert Kraft. So we got fired over a year ago.
She comes in and she's right there. That's the cult.

(32:52):
That's the cult part of it. The cult. And I
watched enough of these documentaries on Netflix and Prime and
Hulu and Peacock and Paramount and you name it. The
cult comes into your life when you're at your lowest
and they say here we are, We're here for you.
That's what she did. When he had just been fired

(33:14):
from a job where he was the head coach for
nearly a quarter of a century and he won six
Super Bowls, which is more than any other NFL coach
of all time. She came into his life. He did
not get a job immediately after being fired, and I

(33:35):
heard some reasons why that I can't share on the air.
Why didn't get the job? I'm like, why do you
get the job in Atlanta? Well, it wasn't just Robert
Kraft sandbagging him to Arthur Blank, No, some other reasons.
Bill made a lot of enemies in his time and
people don't want anything to do with them. Then this

(33:56):
coaching cycle happens, doesn't even.

Speaker 7 (33:58):
Get an interview, and no, all of a sudden, the
cult of Jordan Hudson has taken over his life, and
it's sad.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
It's really sad. I feel for the guy because I
can see where this is going. They're gonna get married
here pretty soon. By the way, that's not a prediction,
that's a spoiler alert. They're gonna get married. You know,
she's gonna get that ring, and when she gets that ring,
she's gonna get the entire future inheritance. His family won't
get it done. That's how these things work. Man, seen
this movie before time and time again. Yes, all right,

(34:34):
So good luck to you, Bill, Good luck to you.
Seattle Seahawks hit with a ooh, a very surprising prediction
following the twenty twenty five NFL draft. Find out what
that is next on MJ in the midday ninety three
to three KJRFM.
