One in ten people here in Massachusetts aren’t getting enough healthy food – and when it comes to children, that number is even higher. For more than 50 years, Pine Street Inn in Boston has been helping to provide housing and critical services for unhoused people in the Hub. A major focus in recent years has been providing permanent supportive housing in the Boston area and support staff for those in need. Executive Director Lyndia Downie talks with Nichole about their latest efforts to do so in a market where housing costs are skyrocketing.
