(00:00):
Joe Biden's getting older and people arestarting to notice the Democrats have a Kamala
Harris problem. That is kneecapping CaliforniaGovernor Gavin Newsom. And the latest symptom
of societal regression is kindergarten classes foradults in the United States and in Australia.
Let's jump right in. In aworld that's constantly buzzing with updates,

(00:22):
it's easy to feel overwhelmed by thesheer volume of headlines and information. That's
why I'm here to help you navigatethe endless waves of day to day updates.
I'm Ethan Buchanan and this his newswave. Alrighty, So, just
like we talked about on Monday,we are continuing to see the collapse of

(00:43):
Joe Biden's image. We've seen himkind of demonstrate his insensitivity, his self
centeredness and whatnot in Hawaii and numerousother occasions, as was outlined in Monday's
episode. But now he's facing anentirely new problem. And this is,
of course one that was originally broughtup during the twenty twenty election. This
is by no means a new problemper se. So let me go ahead

(01:06):
and rephrase myself. Joe Biden doesn'thave a new problem. He is having
a resurgence of the same old problem. An emphasis on the word old there,
because the problem is in fact thatJoe Biden is old. You know.
Of course, we had the wholeJoe Biden hiding in his basement narrative
all throughout the twenty twenty election, which of course he was. There's no
doubt about that. Joe Biden wasdefinitely hiding in his basement, and he's

(01:30):
trying to do the same thing now. Like all throughout the presidency. We've
had incidents of him even just doingpromo videos or whatever for the vaccine in
a fake White House because I guessit was too much of a bother to
get him into the actual White Houseto film these promos. But yeah,
Joe Biden has continued to hide inthe abasement for his entire presidency. He's

(01:52):
constantly calling lids, which is whenlike there's like a no press day,
that's when Joe Biden doesn't come outand talk to the people. That's the
thing presidents do. It used tobe on like a semi infrequent basis,
you know, like the president wouldgo on vacation for like a week out
of the year or whatever. Idon't really know what the normal frequency for

(02:13):
presidential vacations is, but it usedto be a lot less frequent, and
when the president went on a vacationor whatever, they would call a LID,
unless like an emergency came up orwhatever. But Joe Biden has been
calling lids on a daily basis now, and it's gotten to the point where
there's entire weeks at a time whereJoe Biden has called a LID on that

(02:34):
entire week, And it's really thesame as it was during the campaign.
He was the same way. Hedidn't want to do a whole lot of
press. He would do pre tapedinterviews and stuff, and he would go
on shows from his house, andhis excuse at the time was COVID.
But now that that's gone away, and we're now three years removed from the
start of the pandemic, so theCOVID excuse is really starting to fall away.

(03:00):
And because of that, people arenoticing that. Back during the twenty
twenty election, when everyone was saying, hey, guys, this dude is
really old. He's not doing sohot, it's harder to hide from that
narrative now, So if you've seenover the last couple of years, really
since the start of his presidency, that's become more and more of a talking
point, and it's become more andmore evident. Now it's to the point

(03:23):
where I'm just scrolling through Instagram lookingat completely non political things from completely non
political people, and it's just becomea running joke on the Internet now,
even in kind of politically neutral circles. And of course that's always been a
thing in conservative circles, you know, you go and you dog on old
Joe Biden, but even now incircles where it's not a political thing,

(03:44):
like I'll just be scrolling through somerandom meme page and I'll start seeing jokes
and memes about how old and decrepitJoe Biden is. It's becoming a thing
that everyone is noticing. And asmuch as people try to hide from it
and pretend it's not happening, youknow, it's still there and it's really
gonna hurt him electorally. So tomake that point really illustrate that force,

(04:05):
We're going to take a look atthis article from brightbart News, which is
poll three out of four Americans viewJoe Biden as too old for high office.
President Joe Biden has finally united almostthe entire nation as one, although
not in a way he might haveplanned. A poll released Monday shows a
broad public belief that he is justtoo old to be effective in a second

(04:27):
term. The revelation comes in pollingfrom the Associated Press, which hold on
Brightbart is a conservative news source. The Associated Press is not. So even
if it was just Brightbart News, you could say, okay, well that's
a conservative news source. They probablygained the poll a little bit so they
can get the results they want, which the dirty little secret of the polling

(04:47):
industry is that happens a lot.People go in with a result that they
want, so they phrase their questionsthe way they want, and they pick
out who they're polling the way thatthey want, so they can get the
result that they want. So waythat you can kind of pick out this
stuff that's going to be more nonbiased is find a news source that leans

(05:08):
one way politically, that's citing apoll from a group that leans the other
way politically, and that way youcan kind of know that what you're getting
isn't just political bias. And ofcourse with every news source, there's gonna
be political bias. Let's just getthat right out in front of us.
If you don't know how to lookat politics, which a lot of kind
of younger people my age don't,every news source is biased. Fox News

(05:31):
is biased towards Republicans, CNN isbiased towards Democrats. What you need to
do is find the news sources thatare honest about their bias and then just
go in knowing they're going to promotethis message because that's what their biases and
there's nothing wrong with that. That'show every news source is. So Ben
Shapiro has a really good way ofdissecting that. He says, find two

(05:54):
news sources that have opposite biases. So look at how CNN reports on something,
and look at how Fox News reportson something, and then where they
agree that that's what the facts are, and then everything else that's their bias.
So yeah, we've got a conservativenews source citing a liberal news sources
poll. So we can kind ofgo into this with some confidence. We
know we're not just getting one sidestory. So now that we know what

(06:15):
we're getting and where we're getting itfrom, let's take a look here.
The associated Press. NRC Center forPublic Affairs Research, which finds most of
the public across all party affiliations unitedand sizing up the one trade octogenarian Biden
cannot change. AP reports in thepoll that fully seventy seven percent said Biden
is too old to be effective forfour more years. Not only do eighty

(06:38):
nine percent of Republicans say that, because of course you knew the Republicans,
we're going to say that. That'sbeen our talking point for like three years
now. So do sixty nine percentof Democrats. Wow, that's not a
slim majority. That's not like fortynine percent, which would be a huge
number in politics. Forty nine percentis a massive number. So this,

(06:59):
poetically speaking, qualifies as the vastmajority. This is the vast majority of
Democrats are agreeing with one of thebiggest Republican talk points of the last three
years in that Joe Biden is tooold to do this job. So it
kind of makes you think, arethey going to pull him out? Because
if most of their people are saying, yeah, he can't really do this

(07:23):
job, are they really gonna beable to win over the middle with this,
Because that's always what it comes downto, is who can win those
independent voters. That's what makes orbreaks an election. And if you can
barely win over your party, whatare you going to do to win over
the other guys? You know?So yeah, says here. The poll

(07:43):
of one thou one hundred and sixtyfive adults was conducted August tenth through fourteenth,
twenty twenty three, using a sampledrawn from norc's probability based Amari Speak
panel, which is designed to berepresented of the US population. The margin
of sampling or for all respondents isplus or minus three point eight percentage points.
So that's plus or minus three pointeight percentage points. So let's say,

(08:07):
at the bare minimum, what didwe say that this number was sixty
nine percent. So at the bareminimum, if you subtract or minus three
point eight percent, that's still sixtyfive percent of the Democratic Party sixty five
percent. And that's of course basedon one pole. So you have to
take everything with a grain of salt. You know, we can't extrapolate and

(08:28):
say that this is for sure onepercent of the Democratic Party. They went
to the Democratic National Convention and pulledeverybody there and everybody said this, But
you know, polls are there fora reason. So this is worth taking
seriously here, and it's kind ofbecoming increasingly clear that at least the higher
ups in the Democratic Party the peoplekind of pulling the strings. They kind

(08:50):
of want Joe Biden out. That'swhy we've seen a lot of news articles
lately hyping up like Gavin Newsom, who, by the way, in case
you haven't noticed, Gavin governor ofCalifornia. He wants to run for president.
He really does. Here's an articlefrom the Orange County Register of course,
that's Orange County, California. WillGavin Knewsome run for president in twenty

(09:11):
twenty four? Gavin k Newsom wantsto run for president in twenty twenty four.
That much is clear. The Californiagovernor would not be campaigning for President
Joe Biden in red States with sixteenmonths until the presidential election if he wasn't
trying to prove his own political bonafides and build a future base of national
support for himself. And we've seena lot of this lately from Gavin Newsome.
He has been running around, he'sbeen getting into arguments and whatnot with

(09:33):
Rhonda Santis. Him and de Santistshave been going at it like two people
on opposing parties who are both runningagainst each other for president. He's been
carrying himself and acting like a presidentialcandidate because that's what he wants to be,
and he could totally run for presidentif he was just running against Joe
Biden. You know, there's kindof that golden rule in politics that if
your party's person is the incumbent candidate, you don't run against them, you

(09:58):
don't try to primary them. Butthat's not a hard and fast role.
We've seen exceptions to that role. We're kind of seeing something like that happen
in the Republican Party right now.But the problem is, Gavin Newsom isn't
just running against Joe Biden. That'snot his only issue. Gavin Newsom could
primary Joe Biden like that and hewould be done. It wouldn't be hard
for Gavin Newsom to beat Joe Biden. Gavin Newsom is way more likable than

(10:20):
Joe Biden. Gavin Newsom's problem, and it's the same problem for the entire
Democratic Party. They are stuck inthe woke box right now. So what
do I mean by that? Well, let me put it in Layman's terms
for you. Let me simplify itfor you. The Democratic Party has a
Kamala Harris problem. They have madeover the last couple of years. The
most important thing about a person isyour race and gender. That's the be

(10:43):
all end all for the entire DemocraticParty. That's the only thing that they
care about. And we know thisis the case because that's what Joe Biden
made a big deal out of.When he was picking Kamala Harris as his
VP, he said, it hasto be a black woman. And then
when he was picking his first SupremeCourt justice, he said, it has
to be a black woman. Andof course we've had a black president,

(11:05):
we've had a black woman Vice president, and now a black woman Supreme Court
justice, even though we had alreadyhad black Supreme Court justices. So in
the never ending Democrat March for equity, black woman president is the next step.
That's what we have to do.And so that leaves you stuck with
Kamala Harris despite the fact that she'sa god awful politician that everybody hates.

(11:28):
And these are just the sad truthsof being Kamala Harris. She sucks at
her job. She sucks at everyjob she has ever had in politics,
and nobody likes her, but theycan't get rid of her, and they
definitely can't replace her with a whiteman because right now, given the order
of nature or whatever however politics works, Kamala Harris is Joe Biden's perspective successor.

(11:52):
She's his VP, So that meanswhen Joe Biden's done, she's supposed
to come in behind him and runfor president. She's supposed to be the
Democrat nominee for president. So becauseof that, Gavin k Newsome, even
though he really wants to be runningfor president right now, because in the
eyes of the Democratic Party, youcan run against the incumbent candidate from your

(12:13):
party and that's fine, but youcan't run against the black woman who's supposed
to be the successor, because thatwould insinuate that you don't think that she's
competent, and that's racist. Soif the Democrats do end up losing the
twenty twenty four election, it willbe because of this. It will be
This is the entire reason that theyran Joe Biden. It's the entire reason

(12:37):
they're running Joe Biden again because theycan't run Kamala Harris. They know that
they couldn't run her in twenty twenty, which is why she dropped out of
the primary before the primaries even startedin California, which is her home state.
She was doing that poorly, shewas that unlikable. The only way
she got into an office as highas she did is because Joe Biden picked
her as his running mate, andhe was at the top of the ticket,

(12:58):
which is why rather than Joe Bidensaying I'm not going to run for
a second term and let Kamala Harristake over, Joe Biden saying, even
though I'm old and decrepit and canbarely do my job, I'm gonna keep
running because if we run Kamala Harrisinstead, then we're gonna lose. And
we can't replace Kamala Harris because she'sthe token black woman and the only thing

(13:20):
more important to the Democratic Party thanwinning is the woke identity politics, and
that may very well cost them theelection, because if it wasn't, if
they weren't so tied to that, they could one hundred percent run Gavin Newsom
and he would have a pretty decentshot of winning. I mean, he
won California, which I know isa wild, crazy blue State. But

(13:41):
Gavin Newsom is a good politician inthat he's likable, he's personable, he
is competent at least politics in allof the ways that Joe Biden and Kamala
Harris are not. But they're stuckwith Joe Biden because they're stuck with Kamala
Harris, and it may very wellcost them the election. But we'll see
how things play out. You know, politics is crazy world. Anything can

(14:01):
happen just because something makes sense orsomething is reasonable. Don't expect that one
thing to become the reality, becauseI mean, if there's one thing that
we've learned increasingly over the years,it's that people just do crazy things.
It doesn't have to make sense. If that's what the party line is,
then you toe the party line. And that's true of both sides of the
aisle. But Democrats, i think, take that to the extreme. They

(14:24):
apply that philosophy to policies that aren'tnecessarily popular, to things that really don't
end up playing well for them politicallyspeaking, Like we've seen that a lot
in the gender ideology stuff that's beenhappening. But that's the Democratic party line,
so that's what they commit to.That's what all their politicians commit to
and despite the fact that people don'tlike it, like people don't like Kamala
Harris, they commit to it.They commit to everything, just like they

(14:46):
commit to Kamala Harris. It doesn'thave to be popular, it doesn't have
to make sense. But this iswhere we're at, and this is where
we're staying for God only knows whatreason. But we'll see how that ends
up playing for the Democratic Party. They've se to have committed to Joe Biden,
they've seemed to have committed to KamalaHarris, and we'll see if that's
enough to be Donald Trump this timearound, because he probably will be the

(15:07):
Republican nominee. At the very least, we know for sure that it is
going to make for one super interestingelection. Cyclist things kind of ramp up
heading into twenty twenty four. Butyeah, I'm honestly really interested to see
how this ends up playing out inthe twenty twenty four election. I think
it's going to be really interesting. But that's enough of that. That's enough
with the news. Let's go aheadand jump now into stuff that I saw

(15:28):
online. Alrighty, before we jumpinto stuff I saw online today, I
want to quickly hearken back to atime, and this was a time very
long ago. A lot of youmay not remember this, but back in
the day, once you reached adulthood, a thing you used to do was
kind of mature and take on responsibilitiesand you know, be an adult and

(15:52):
do adult things. Now, ofcourse, if you're if you're younger like
myself, you may not remember thisbecause now we don't do that. Instead,
we do things like kindergarten for adults. Now, I first discovered this
when I was just minding my ownbusiness scrolling through Instagram, and then I
just get slapped in the face withthis wild nonsense. And I see,
I see a video of this. It's it's a bunch of adults that are

(16:12):
just pretending like they're in kindergarten. And okay, that's honestly, let's be
honest with ourselves. That's not theweirdest thing we've seen adults do these days.
We've seen adults dress up as animalsand be furries for some godforsaken reason,
and you know, pretend to becats and dogs and things. The
weirdest thing about this, because ofcourse, you see something like this and

(16:33):
you don't just let it slide. You know, it's like that Kevin Hart
clip. We're not just gonna walkpast that, like you didn't just say
what you just said, like youwe've seen this video. Now we're in
the rabbit hole. We're gonna keepgoing. So I decided to investigate,
and over the course of investigating,I came across this article from ABC News,
and this is grown ups pay bigbucks to attend New York City quote

(16:55):
unquote, adult preschool adults pay upto a thousand dollars to net app,
do crafts and get in touch withtheir inner child. Oh my god,
they're paying a thousand dollars for this. I hate to break it to you.
To all the people are that arepaying a thousand dollars for this.
You can take naps and do craftsin your own house for free. You

(17:15):
can connect with your inner child inyour own house for free, and you
don't have to actually actively pretend tobe a six year old. You can
just do things like watch cartoons thatyou enjoyed as a kid. You can
collect hot wheels, and those aregreat ways to connect with your inner child
without getting with a bunch of adultsand acting like a six year old for

(17:37):
a thousand dollars. But let's letthis speak for yourself. Let's let's hop
into this article. Getting in touchwith your inner child has never been so
expensive. The Brooklyn based preschool Mastermind, as it's called, is a preschool
type experience for adults. No really, and according to its founder, there's
show and tell, arts, craftssuch as fingerpaints, game think musical chairs,

(18:00):
and even naps. I realized allthe implications of what we learn in
preschool, said founder Michelle Joni, who said she went to school for childhood
education and always wanted to be apreschool teacher. People come here and get
in touch with their inner child. It's magical. So we've got Michelle Joni
running that out of New York. But as it turns out, that's actually

(18:22):
not the only instance of this wildnonsense, because like all things like this,
it happens everywhere. Life Garden isthe Australian equivalent to this. According
to their website, we Discover yourInner Child. Playtime is in an afternoon
filled with fun, silliness and creativitythat gets you out of your daily routine.

(18:44):
It's a kindergarten for adults, aplace where you can be yourself again.
Right there. I want to stopand focus on that line. Right
there a place where you can beyourself again. So the implication there is
to be your true you have torevert back to a six year old.

(19:04):
You can't be a mature adult andbe yourself. This perfectly emphasizes once again
the self centeredness of modern society, because what is an adult. An adult
is a person who kind of sacrificestheir own wants and desires in order to
tend to their responsibilities and tend tothe things that are bigger than themselves.

(19:26):
Becoming an adult is realizing, theseare my responsibilities, These are what I
have to do to kind of fitinto the stuff that's bigger than myself.
And this is saying no, that'snot your true self. That's something that
you should put away. That's somethingthat you need to avoid and try to
take a break from. Instead, you should revert back to the time when

(19:48):
all you had to worry about wasyou and what you wanted, and that
is kindergarten. Now, of coursethis is a fringe, kind of extreme
example, but it is a solidexample of kind of the way this society
is heading. And of course wewill see this mindset kind of work itself
out in other ways. I'm surethat people participating in these classes are not
the most productive members of society.I am open to the idea of being

(20:12):
proven wrong on that, but ofcourse I am not anticipating being proven wrong
on that. But yeah, thisis just a great example of the normalization
of self centeredness, which is areally frightening sign for society. But if
we're being honest with ourselves, oursociety was completely doomed a long time ago.
So this is really nothing more thanjust another side show in the crazy

(20:33):
circus that is modern society. Butyeah, now that we've gotten that out
of the way, now that I'vekind of perturbed you, and you're welcome
to go research this yourself, butI don't recommend it. It will make
you sad on the side. Butyeah, now that that's out of the
way, let's go ahead and jumpinto random recommendations. Al Right, Before
we just jump head first into randomrecommendations, I want to quickly remind you
that this is not sponsored. Thisis not stuff that I'm being paid to

(20:56):
promote or anything. This is juststuff that I personally like it in joy,
you know, I just want toshare things that make my life better
with you guys. So with thatbeing said, while I was in Gettysburg,
Pennsylvania earlier this summer, I stoppedat a hat shop downtown and I
picked up a sick looking bowler hat. Now, this hat shop they sell

(21:17):
everything from like World War two recreationhats to like Civil War eras stuff,
which is what I got on.It's like a it's a bowler hat.
It's like a civilian hat. It'sreally cool. I like it. It
looks dope. I get tons ofcompliments on it because I look sick in
it. And yeah, I justwanted to quickly recommend this guy that makes
these hats to you. It's calledDirty Billy Hats. This guy is super

(21:38):
cool. He makes a lot ofhats for movies that you've seen, like
Titanic or Tombstone. So quick excerptfrom his website right here. Dirty Billy
has been a Civil War military collectorand reenactor since he attended the Antietam Centennial
in nineteen sixty two. In nineteeneighty one, he began selling his museum
quality headwear to the public. Manyof his reproductions are made using original blocks,

(22:00):
and all are the result of hisclose study of original artifacts and period
photographs. Although Civil War period headgearis his biggest seller, he can reproduce
hats ranging from the sixteen hundreds throughto the modern day era. Dirty Billy
has made hats for actors including SamElliott and Martin Sheen and Gettysburg, Patrick
Swayze and North and South, andTom Burt Burner I guess in The Rough

(22:22):
Riders. Other movies include Tombstone,Son of Morningstar, and Gods in Generals.
So yeah, his shop in downtownGettysburg, it's like a little museum
of just really neat little hats andthen you can just pick one out and
buy it. So yeah, Iwanted to quickly recommend it to you because
I had the chance to actually talkwith him a little bit while I was
there. He's a super interesting guy. He's got a lot of neat stories

(22:44):
to tell, and his hats area phenomenal product. And I look great
in them, and you'll probably lookgreat in them too, because they make
whoever's wearing them look better. Yeah, definitely hop on his website, dirty
Billy Hats dot com. If hatsare your thing, if you're a hat
collector, or if you're just intoCivil War and you want to check out
neat Civil War artifacts and stuff, definitely check this guy out. Great products,

(23:06):
really fun dude. Highly recommend it. Alrighty, that is going to
