Hello, and welcome to now streaming with jordanli To.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
The easy part hard part is the emotional journey for
a small independent film that I just loved.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's called ghost Light, which by the way, refers to
a theatrical superstition where an electric light bulb is kept
on after a theater goes dark to keep the ghosts
of the theater company. It's a simple but emotionally powerful
story with understated acting at its finest, featuring a family trio,
Dan the father, Daisy the mother, and Sharon the daughter,
all three of whom happen to be a real life family,

(00:30):
so the chemistry is there. Dan's a construction worker dealing
with trauma and grief, but he finds an outlet for
his pain in a rather unusual place, an amateur theater group.
Keith Kuffer is a Chicago actor who's just terrific as
the dad, Unable to express his true feelings as he
joins the amateur cast of Romeo and Juliet, a story
of grief and reconciliation unfolds, in my opinion, a masterpiece

(00:52):
of filmmaking, acting, and writing. Ghost Light on Hulu and
that's now streaming with Jordan wz Boston's news radio
