Speaker 1 (00:00):
We have Eric of I Provail on the phone. This
now what a brother house things man, Thanks for calling us, dude.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
What's up man? Things are good. Things are good. Thanks
for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Yeah, man, thanks for thanks for reaching out. Brother. It's
always good catching up here. You are back in Colorado
ready to step out those stays and that phill is
green I know for you guys, for the rest of
I Prevail, dude, this is like, you know, I still
take a little pride. This is like second home for
you guys. Man, your base here is enormous.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Oh yeah, absolutely, man, it's if we're not in Detroit.
It feels like the trait for us. Man, it's uh,
it's been a long time. It's been a long time
at a lot of support from you all, and and
uh it's been It's awesome. It's awesome, especially starting off
the tour at home on the Midwest and then coming
all the way over this way and kind of ending
(00:51):
the tour out out back here and feeling like got
that rejuvenating show. It's like it's like you start off
at home and end off at home. It's which is awesome.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, man, Well, we're super excited. Like you said, a
little overdue. Man, We've been honestly, God, I'll be honest,
we've been dying for a big rock show at Philler's Green,
you know, kind of all year. There was a Bush
Jerry Cantreill show that was there, I don't know, earlier
in the month, but really not a lot of rock
shows at Fidler's this year, and this has been the
one for us that we've been really excited about, really anticipating.
(01:22):
How is it, you know, you guys not only or
you know, doing this dual headlining gig with Hailstorm. You
got this crazy song we just played, Candy see Me
in the Dark. You guys collaborated on You got to
share a little insight as to how that happened.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Well, about a year and a little over a year ago,
we were playing a festival over in Belgium, and that's
the first time we got to actually meet them in person.
We played with Hailstorm at different festivals and radio shows
you know, over the past decade, but this was like
the first time we all actually got to meet and
hang out for a little bit before they had to
hurry up and get out a shuttle to get out
(01:58):
a flight to the next city. But we got to
hang out for a bit and and it was kind
of like talked about between our managers or bookers or whatever,
like like, let's you know, maybe maybe doing a tour
together would be you know, would be cool. And and uh,
with that, we started talking like, yeah, maybe maybe we
should do a song to kind of promote to promote it,
and and uh, you know, between us and them on
(02:19):
two opposite ends of the spectrum of rock, like finding
a cool middle ground and and uh so we had
a demo and uh, just an instrumental kind of thing
that we started and and uh we just sent it
back and forth while they were out working in La
and we were back home in between tours and Detroit.
And yeah, for for not writing in the same room together,
(02:43):
there's you know, there's challenges there. But how easily this
thing came together and drew organically. I feel like you
do it a hundred times, and you take two bands
and you do it a hundred times out of one hundred,
you know, sending things back and forth and not being
in the same room, there's so many challenges that, like,
I feel like more times than not, it's just that's
(03:05):
the fail where this just moved so fluidly, and the
ideas back and forth on zoom and of FaceTime and
all that. It just worked out. And I'm super super
stoked with how it turned out and how smoothly it
came to be. And you know, here we are a
year later.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, man, is killing it. As soon as we saw
We're like, way how they do that? So glad it
came together and you know, killing it as you know,
as you guys wrap up this tour, Man, this has
been well, it's been the first time you guys have
been out for this long and in quite a while.
Are you looking forward that is getting kind of wrapped
up here the next week or two.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, it's a bittersweet, man. I love being on the road,
especially in the States, like for this long, being able
to really just get into form, you know. And but
after after six weeks and other week and a half
of whatever rehearsals in the beginning of the tour, it's like, yeah,
I could I could sleep in my own bed and
(04:06):
you know, use my own use my own toilet, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Really, that wouldn't be bad, it would be kind of nice.
That's awesome, man, But get you got to think, how
crazy is it on where you guys you know, find
yourselves and they had the luxury of still you know,
touring and collaborating with you know, incredible artists and just
(04:29):
amazing trip you guys have been on man. And uh,
believe me, I speak for a lot of bp I
rs who share a lot of that pride. Man. It's
just awesome to sit back and and watch I Prevail
take off and share their music, your talent and your
message through the world. Bro.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh, it's incredible to be able to do this. Man.
We're truly truly lucky that after you know, a decade
coming up, the decade you doing this, that people are
still listening, people are still supporting you for doing something right, man,
and we just got the best fans and yeah that's cool. Yeah. Yeah,
it's crazy, dude. And it looks literally crazy that even
(05:09):
think about that. I'm in like Colorado for the time
to play over the last decade untill people are showing up.
And it's awesome.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, it wasn't that long ago, man, when we you
guys played our car show, remember when they played exit
Oon Yeah yeah, with five finger with five binger crazy.
Uh yeah, look at the history and it's just man,
there's a lot of it, and I think they'll be
celebrated tonight when you guys step out on the stage.
(05:42):
It's just huge fans of everything you guys have done.
Uh and you know, just proud as hell that you
guys once again. Man, I'm just gonna rip it up
tonight and looking forward to it. Can't wait to see you, man,
can't wait to high five, shake your hand, give you
a big hug. Man, it's been too long, And looking
forward to catch up with you and boys tonight and
just an amazing, amazing You guys always crush on stage.
(06:05):
You always just kill it, and it's been too long
since you've been through Colorado, and I think the fans
are well oiled and ready for you guys to get
on stage so they can go off.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah. Man, And this is the most production, the biggest
show we brought out so far, So I'm really excited
for people to see the growth and see what we're bringing.
You know, for co headlining, we were each ripping an hour,
but we packed a lot in that hour and we're
really really excited.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Awesome man. Hell yeah, all right, Eric, I provail, what's love? Brother?
I will see you tonight.
Speaker 2 (06:38):

especially on that stage, big stage, big venue. Man, this way,
they're going to bring all the tricks and all the pyroll,
all the fun. So come on down to grab some
ofing at Fiddler's Green tonight. So on seven nine k
