of Commerce, is in the house.

Good morning, miss Alli, Good morning, Happy Monday, Monday.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Good to see what's going on with you.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
You know, just came back from a really amazing reward
trip our reach campaign that we do every fall. Yes,
this past week was the reward trip for all of
those amazing salespeople who work on our behalf every fall
that hit those goals. And we spent four days in
Mexico and just had a heck of a time. Really
(00:52):
I needed that break of just sun and sleep and water, saltwater.
It was just it came back feeling refreshed.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I like it. I like it all right. So what
we got on tap for the.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Same of Commerce, You know, we got a lot happening.
It's hard to believe that this week is finally here.
This upcoming Friday is our grand opening of our new facility,
So if you have not made plans, our ribbon cutting
and ceremony will be at ten am on Friday, and
everyone is welcome. We're super glad to have you there.
(01:28):
We'll have light refreshments and then we will keep an
open house all the way until one pm. So two
hundred South sixth Street. Ten am is the ribbon cutting.
We'll do a short program inside, have a lot of
people to talk about. But this will be the first
time that anybody really gets to experience the Auburn Open
like a visitor experience, which is something that our partners
at Auburn Up like a tourism have have, you know,
(01:50):
put inside of our building. And this is just going
to make it an absolute incredible first stop for visitors
and residents alike. We look forward to welcoming elementary school
classes to explore you name it. We can't wait, but
it's gonna be awesome. We hope everyone will be there
on Friday, a.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Big day on Friday. I also have something coming up.
You got boot camp business.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
We do our business boot camp continues tomorrow. I'll actually
tomorrow's session is going to be about marketing, so I
will be a special guest talking about marketing Tomorrow night,
and then Wednesday is a big day for Glensmith Chevrolet GMC.
Their anniversary celebration starts at nine am, so they'll be
serving a delicious breakfast and I think we're gonna actually
(02:32):
do the ribbon cutting right about nine forty five and
people are welcome to come enjoy a free, delicious meal
and come celebrate Glenn and Jerry and the whole team there.
And then at four pm tomorrow or four pm on Wednesday,
we also have a ribbon cutting at the residence at
Arbor Lake as well, and so that'll be an auburn
(02:53):
and open like a ribbon cutting. So got a couple
things happening this week in terms of celebrations. Very excited
about ours. And then next week we've got a couple
of things that people might be interested in as well.
Monday night, June sixteenth, we are sponsoring open like a
women's football clinic with Opeca High School. Coach More is
(03:15):
gonna bring us all together and show us some drills.
Last year we had an absolute ball like. We we
didn't necessarily tackle people, but we definitely scrimmaged, taught us
how to throw, run, some run, some routes and really
just had a great time, and he talked a lot
about like the nutrition program and all the things that
(03:37):
go into helping our athletes be incredible athletes. But the
women's football clinic is on Monday night. You can register
through the link on our website as well. And then
next Tuesday is Business over Breakfast and this one is
all about workplace wellness trends and registration is open. So
if this is something that you know when you think
about wellness in the workplace, this it's really all encompassing.
(04:00):
Now you know, it's mental wellness, it's physical wellness, it's
it's staying you know, keeping your joints strong, and things
like whether you're doing a physical job or a desk job.
There's a lot of different factors that come into place.
And so our speaker is Mark Lemcool I believe is
(04:21):
how I pronounce his name. He's with the Central Alabama
Electrical Cooperative, but he is their director of workplace Wellness
and so this is what he does every single day.
He even talks about how financial wellness plays into your
employee's health and wellness, because if they're stressed about money,
then they're not getting a good night's sleep. If they're
stressed about their marriage, they're not getting a good night's sleep.
(04:42):
So it's really just understanding the trends around full full wellness,
whether that's body, mind, soul, you name it, full wellness.
So he's going to talk a little bit about trends
and then we're going to transition and open it up
into a panel discussion, and so not only will Mark
share more about his experience, but we also have Skyler
Couch from East Alabama Health, Mike Sutterer from Bonnie Plants,
(05:04):
and Matthew Stintson from Stints and Bread. So we've got
a couple different sized businesses that can kind of really
share what it is that they do and what some
policies that they're putting in place to make sure that
their people are being taken care of and as well
as as they can be.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Okay, sounds like a good plan. Anything else you want
to throw at us before.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
We go, well, you know, another ribbon cutting Tuesday afternoon
as well, so you know, check out our calendar. We this.
You know, we're just in a busy time. The ople,
like a chamber, is growing. We're thrilled to be in
our new space and to have more than a thousand
members in our amazing business community, and so we're staying busy,
(05:45):
and you can always visit Opleaca Chamber dot com to
check out the event calendar. You can register for any
of our events. Members always get discounted rates for events.
A lot of our events don't require registration. You can
just pop in and show up. So uh, you name it.
You can follow us on so but the best way
to make sure you're on top of it from our
calendar perspective is to visit opleacah Chamber dot com.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
All right, Ali, thank you very much for coming. High's
liberty all good.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
She's great. I swear in the five days I was gone,
she gained five pounds. She's just like I bet she's
pure muscle. She's a lot to handle, and she missed
you to im sure she did.
Speaker 1 (06:18):

presented tee Back, GNN Smiths Chevrolet GMC where they.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
