(00:00):
All Right's Pride Radio on the phoneright now talking about one Magical Weekend.
Is DJ d stew what's up?Hey? What's up man? We're coming
up on one magical weekend, thefirst weekend of June. What are you
looking forward to? How are youyou know, do you have your set
planned already? What parties are yougoing to be hosting? So I am.

(00:21):
I've been working on a bunch ofremixes that I'm gonna be using in
my set. Nice of some ofsome new songs that have that haven't even
been released on the airwaves yet.A couple of Taylor Swiss songs that got
from per record label because I haveto get the a cappella versions and then

(00:45):
remix them. That's awesome. Alsolike a new one from Miley Cyrus's new
album, so wow. Yeah.So I've been working on that and I'm
going to debut those at I'm I'mdjaying the Rip Tide Party, which is

(01:07):
Friday Night, the Friday night partythat takes place at Disney's Techlan Lugoo.
Yeah, it's a It's the bestparty of the weekend in my opinion.
I love that party. So Iwas I was very excited and surprised and
thankful that the guys over at Om W picked me to do that.

(01:30):
Yeah, that's incredible. Yeah,I'm doing the so they I guess they
have last year they started with twostages. They have the main stage and
then they also have now the secondstage on the other side of the park,
which is called the Bear Lugo yepso, which is all part of

(01:55):
the One Mapical Weekend Bear Jam Bree. So I'm actually dtaying over on that
stage. Very cool. That's that'ssuch a chill area, by the way,
I I that's one of my favoriteplaces to just go and hang.
Yeah, so I was. Iheard about it last year. Yeah,

(02:16):
but I didn't make it over tolast year's celebrations because I lived in Oklahoma.
I wasn't in Orland last year, and I went to the other one
Magical Weekend party. They didn't makeit to the actual title Lavoon party that

(02:38):
they you know, just started thebare last year, the first time I
had been to the type parties before, like like before COVID and a couple
and a couple of years before that, Right, so I'm familiar with like
the you know setting and everything likethat. Yeah, I'm excited to be

(02:58):
doing that. And I know Paulo, who is one of my idols and
I've worked with a few times before, he's on the main stage. Yes,
it'll be cool too, kind ofin a sense be working with him,
but not on the actual same stagelike that kind of thing. So
no, no, yeah, Itotally get that. And I got to

(03:20):
tell you you both have huge crowdsin those areas because that event sells out
every year because it's just so muchfun. So there are thousands of people
that are constantly coming through these areas. Yeah, So it's like I said,
it's a huge honor to be doingit, and I really look forward

(03:43):
to it. And then the restof the weekend as well too, because
the DJ lineup is incredible with somany of them, almost all of them
actually, Yeah, and then thevenue and stuff like uh you know,
the host hotel and all that kindof stuff. Right, It's just it's

(04:05):
it's a really you know, big, like I said, like a really
big honor and to be a partof of of it. Yeah. It's
one of the parties that I firstwent to, like you know, when
I was younger too, so whenit used to be called well, it
was always one one magical weekend, but it was I think it was one

(04:29):
Magical weekend back at Gay Disney orused to I think it used to be
like called like King Disney or somethinglike that, right, like way back
in the day. I'm talking likefifteen sixteen years ago. So right,
so you go way back with onemagical weekend. Yeah, I go,

(04:53):
No, that's awesome. It's justour It'll be our second, no,
third year one magical weekend, It'llbe a third year hanging out there.
Yeah. Yeah, We've enjoyed everysingle moment of it because being pool side
with you know, your favorite DJis just playing. You know, you
can get out, you can godance if you want. You can get
back in the pool and grab adrink at the bar, hang out with

(05:14):
your friends. There's it's just sucha it's a whatever you want to do
kind of event you can do.It's really interesting to see the contrast and
in the styles and stuff like that, right right, I agree? I
agree? What what is your styletypically? Like, what what kind of
a style are you hoping? Like? What kind of vibe are you hoping
to create? Over in bear Lagoons? I play? I play, I

(05:44):
would I would say it's it's kindof a cross between house and I guess
what they what they would consider circuitmusic right now, mixed in with like
Top forty remixed. Okay, it'skind of a blend of like three different
styles. Yeah, I don't reallylike anything deep, like you know,

(06:09):
like tribal or anything like that.I'm I'm all in all my sets I've
ever played. It's heavy on vocals, it's heavy on LGBTQ plus anthems.
It's heavy on you know, thenewer stuff out, especially on the radio,

(06:31):
and then stuff that's gonna be comingout. So it's it's just it's
and it's always uplifting. And Iplay at a very i would say what
most DJs consider a fairly bath pacebecause I like to keep the people moving
right. So usually, like anormal DJ usually plays at about at these

(06:56):
kind of parties, plays at aboutsix to twenty seven beats per minute,
I'm usually at about one. Wow. Yeah, when you need that energy,
very very high energy. Yeah, very very high energy. And you
know, like I said, litteredwith vocals glore, because you know that's

(07:20):
what that's what I when I wasgrowing up and going to these parties that's
what I liked hearing at pool parties. I didn't. I liked being able
to be in the pool or youknow, go down the water slide in
actually like be singing or know thesong that's like playing in the background so
that I could sing along, oryou know, if your friends were there,

(07:42):
like dancing with your friends and likeyou know, singing and stuff.
So so my stuff is always youknow, like I said, tons of
vocals, and I rarely ever playanything that doesn't have any kind of words
in it. Right, well, listen, if somebody wants to get a
preview of what you are planning, you know, they want to listen to

(08:05):
some of your past sets, wherecan they go? I have all my
sets and right now I just checkedthis morning. There's over a hundred of
them, actually one hundred and threeexactly all of my stuffs on SoundCloud.
Nice okay, And then if youjust and if you just when you go
to the SoundCloud app, if youjust put in my my name d d

(08:28):
As and Dennis hyphen Stu as InnStuart Stu, everything will pull up.
And then I'm of course on allthe social media it's like Facebook and Instagram
and all those where you can putin my my information is or my you

(08:50):
know, my DJ name and everythingwill come up. Uh. And then
just again to let everybody know you'replaying Bear Lagoon at Disney's Riptide Water Park
party at Typhoon Lagoon. That'll beon Friday of one magical weekend. It's
kind of like the evening kickoff partyfor the whole weekend. Correct yeap Friday
in May thirty first, and itstarts at eight and it goes until two

(09:13):
am. We're going to be lookingfor you. When we're there, we'll
be there too, so we'll comeby and say hi at Bear Lagoon.
