(00:01):
Favorite moment in a long moments,Boots is so outnumbered by girls right now.
Women power have invaded the studio becauseof the Avenue Amber, the Avenue
Wellness Center. I mean it's hardto get a word in with you,
let alone for you, Kimberly,Rebecca Courtney, all in studio. If
(00:21):
you guys have not heard of theAvenue Wellness Center, you have to check
it out because it is life changing. And you guys do things because aunt.
Let's be honest, there are somany wellness centers popping up right now,
but you guys do something that noone else is doing. What can
you explain to our listeners, Well, our primary focus is hyperbaric oxygen and
(00:42):
hyperbaric oxygen I always say it addressesenemy number one, which is inflammation.
Inflammation causes more disease or is involvedwith more diseases than anything else. So
if you have heart disease, younormally have some form of inflammation. If
you have a lung disease, youhave some form of inflammation. If you
have arthritis, you have inflammation. If you have long COVID you have inflammation.
(01:03):
So hyperbaric oxygen flushes inflammation from thebody. That's number one thing that
it does. It does so manyother things, but if you just start
with that, it addresses that rightoff the bat, and so there isn't
any other thing like it. It'sdrug free, it's not invasive. It's
just wonderful. I mean, yougo in and you have hyperbaric oxygen.
(01:27):
It makes your skin look better,it makes your mind work better. It
reduces arthritis, it reduces joint pain, it helps healing of bones, it
helps healing of tissue, it reducesinfection. It's just absolutely marvelous. Turning
to Kimberly. Kimberly, what doyou think is the number one most popular
reason that people come to you touse this hyperberic machine. Well, I'd
(01:48):
say in the last six months orso, the number one reason is like
a chronic fatigue type situation. Now, that could be because it's long haul
COVID and they're just exhausted. Itcould be that they been grappling with fibromyalgia
and chronic fatigue. It could bethat they just don't feel well and there's
nothing that they can pinpoint and nobody'sbeen able to find any test results that
(02:12):
make any sense. It could beI mean just really like Rebecca said,
just inflammation based issues. So we'vewe really have kind of run the gamut
in the last six months or soor five months or so that we've been
open and seeing people for concussions orpre and post surgery acid reflux. We
(02:35):
had a really wonderful success with acidreflux that was very, very severe where
he had a chronic cough and said, I can't live with this burning in
my throat like this anymore, andwithin just a few treatments that was resolved.
If you are listening right now andyou're going through something, any of
your question for the ladies six onefour, eight, two one nine eight
(02:55):
eight six, call us up.I'm sure they can answer anything and maybe
get you starting to feel healthy again. We already do have a caller.
June is on the line for youladies at the Avenue Wellness Center. H
Hi, June, what's your question? What are you going through right now?
Pardon me? Oh, go ahead, what are you going through right
now? What's your question for thelady? So actually I was calling because
(03:19):
my daughter is actually going through afew issues and we're still trying to figure
out exactly what's going on. Thanks, some testing done, but basically right
now, they're thinking it's more neurological. And she also has like syncope,
like her blood pressure could like dropand she could pass out, And I
(03:42):
didn't know if that would be somethingthat would be helpful, like if she
tried to session the CEE, ifit would be beneficial for her. Well,
that sounds like a pretty complex medicalissue, so we'd have to talk
about it face to face, andI'd have to know her complex medical history.
Any test results would be very veryhelpful as well too, But we'll
(04:03):
spend quite a bit of time togetherand go over all of that information.
And if there is anything that wehave that we know is evidence based for
that particular situation, we would bemore than happy to help you. But
everything that we do is research based, evidence based, So I'd have to
know a little bit more about whatthe situation is, what some of the
clauses are, if they can pinpointit some of the test results, and
(04:26):
then we could go from there andthat first assessment that's free. Oh,
the first session ly, okay, the first assessment, not the session,
but the first assessment where you'll sitdown with our nurse practitioner, Kimberly.
That's no charge that that beginning assessment. Oh okay, that's wonderful. Now
do you accept any insurance or isthat something that you guys don't work with.
(04:49):
We don't accept insurance, but wedo accept you can use an FSA
or an HSA if you have eitherone of those. Those are reflects savings
accounts or health spending accounts that manyemployers set up and put in place.
So we've had quite a few peoplewho have utilized those. Now, how
about high blood pressure? Because Iwas considering trying it, but I mean,
(05:13):
I haven't been diagnosed with like hypertension, but I do. It's just
orderline high. Would we have bebeneficial too? We have the horrible the
radio frequency inner cleans and it's beenshown to help somebody before with with blood
pressure. They are no longer onthe medication that they were on that situation
(05:35):
much all right, thanks Jane, question, Yeah, thank you for calling
in. I hope that you getthe help. Okay, well, thank
you, and give me this information. Are you going to have the information
on your Yeah, we will,we will have it on But also she's
gonna go ahead and give you thenumber listening right now? Go ahead,
Courtney, you can call six onefour three one nine three three five four
(05:59):
perfect. All right, thanks June. I wonder if she was born in
June. It would make sense.Right, there's another caller. It looks
like coming through. You guys arepopular ladies today, Courtney, you want
to say anything about it, Kimberlyand Rebecca have talked a lot about today.
If you want to say anything thatyou notice when you have people come
in, Yeah, you're we're doingthat radio thing. We see, we
(06:21):
see. It's a big word, but truly we see miracles all the time.
It's it's beautiful. It's beautiful watchingsomebody come in in a wheelchair and
able to leave in a walker, more mobile than just a little bit more
mobile than they were before. It'sit's time. It's beautiful to see people
(06:45):
tell us that they have they havetheir life back because they don't have pain.
Okay, let's go to John.We got real quick. We'll go
to John. Hey, John,Hey, Yeah, I pitched medications on
a bloodzinner and when I switched it, I got this real severe arthritic pain
in my hips. Does this workfor that too? Hyperbarics is very well
(07:09):
known to reduce the inflammation and painassociated with with arthritis for sure. So
is this is this a women's plankor is there men that have the places
too? Or what we treat menand women both? Actually we've treated more
men than we have women. Yeah. Yeah, you know, we've had
a lot of neuropathy people, andI don't know why, but it's there
(07:32):
have been a lot of men withneuropathy. Would you say because us,
we're not as tough as ladies,I'll admit that. Thank you guys saying
that because you're out in numbers. No, No, because you guys have
babies for a reason, because noman could have a baby, we would
be the biggest weight very well. So, I mean our arthritis is always
worse than your arthritis. I thinka lot about sports related Actually, I
(07:53):
think they're men have been involved ina lot of sports, and they've done
a lot of repetitive injuries, andso they have maybe more arthritic joints and
things, So that could be partof the reason for that. TA concussions.
We're going off the brake, sowhen we get back more with these
lovely ladies and boots. Yes,And I also have a surprise for all
of you, because somebody got tenthousand dollars. I'm going to tell you
(08:15):
why and how we're going to talkto them. And there's I want to
tie in your wellness center compared you'llsee. Just just stick around. It'll
all makes sense for many boots onnews radios. Feeling good but could be
better? That's why you want togo to the center A V and you
without the E on the end,Hannah, that was a great choice.
(08:35):
Feeling good but want to be betteror something like that. So, speaking
of good and feeling good, Iwanted to share this with you because I
know you guys all love good stories, something positive that happens, because we
always hear so much negative. Yousaw my hat, right, the Barry
Manelo Manelo hat. So at theconcert. Every stop that he made this
past year that he went to,he would find a deserving music teacher in
(08:58):
that area and present that well. They would have like a little competition and
you could vote whoever was the mostdeserving, and he would give a music
teacher ten thousand dollars to spend anyway in their classroom to keep music alive
in schools. So Barry was justhere in Columbus on Friday night, and
guess who I tracked down the musicteacher had won. Her name is Heather
(09:22):
Shoot from Hamilton Township High School.Heather is on the line with us right
now. So Heather, all theladies at the Avenue Wellness Center and Boots
and I just want to congratulate you. Can you believe you won and that
you got to meet mister Manilow.I still can't believe it now. It
was amazing and tonight I'll never forget. Oh, that's congratulations. I really
(09:46):
want to know, out of allthe teachers, how did you win?
I mean, it's the support ofmy community and my former students and the
administration and the teachers and just awhole lot of people. That's how I
won. So the ladies and SNIare in here. We all had music
in high school, in elementary school, in middle school, and it is
a shame that there are so manydistricts that can't have music in the classroom
(10:09):
anymore. They're trying to take itaway. That's all I had. But
we had a lot of kids inmusic. But there's there are a lot
of districts that are, you know, losing their programs. There was a
time when I thought I might leavethe state of Ohio, and I looked
elsewhere and there were so many programsthat didn't even have music programs. So,
I mean, we're very fortunate atHamilton's to have, you know,
(10:31):
a thriving band and a thriving choirprogram, but there are some some schools
that don't. Wow, and Ithink that's awesome that the Manilo Foundation is
doing what they can to support that. Yeah, they have such a great
thing going to do that. It'scalled a Manilow Music Project. And he
was really nice though when you methim, Heather, Oh my gosh,
he was so personable. He youknow, asked me what kind of music
(10:56):
I listened to, and he askedwhat the kids were singing in my program?
Was actually, he said, thefirst choir teacher to win this award,
which I thought was kind of neat. Okay, all over the country
really yeah, yeah, you knowa lot of band teachers, a lot
of orchestra teachers, but not notany choir teachers. So I felt like
that was kind of a neat honorto have. And where did he where
(11:16):
did she meet him at the schoolor to call the concert concert? Read
this whole big thing about her?On stage, he put a picture up
on stage so everybody could see.He read why she won, and he's
eighty years old. I just can'tbelieve a man eighty years old was performing
like he did on Friday night. So we just have one more question for
you. We'll let you go.How are you going to spend that ten
grand? You know, I've beenasked that, and it's all comes so
(11:39):
fast, and it's been such anawesome experience. I haven't even thought about
it. I'm kind of I'm thristywith my own money, and so when
it comes to this kind of money, I don't I don't even know.
I haven't thought about it enough.So I'm going to be careful. I'm
not gonna, you know, gocrazy. I'm I'm going to be thrifty
with how it spent. So I'mhere to, you know, make it
go the longest that it can.Well, make sure it stays in the
music class and they don't steal itfor something else. Tune a few pianos.
(12:03):
I hate it when you sing inthe pianos attitude. I singer so
absolutely proud of you. We're happyfor you, and we just wanted to
give you a moment. So Heathershoot from Hamilton Township High School. Congratulations.
I'm just jealous that you got tomeet Mary. Congratulation because we got
(12:24):
to have extra stuff for kids todo shop classes. They're falling out of
shops. You know, many kidsdon't know how to use your screwdriver or
balance home X going away. Didyou know that? Oh? Absolutely,
that's been for years. They hadbeen getting for years. So how do
you expect people to be able tomaintain their homes, to be able to
I met my home ex teacher severalyears ago at a funeral someone else's.
(12:46):
But anyway, she came up andshe said, I don't know if you
remember me, And I said,of course I remember you. I said,
without you, I was so poorwhen I when I was young,
and when I had my first baby, I said, I didn't have money
for maternity clothes, but I knewhow to sew because I had your sewing
classy, And so I said,I made my maternity clothes. I've made
(13:07):
drapes, I've made cushions for thingsI've sewn, you know, just all
sorts of things over the course ofthe years. And it all started with
Szue Crumb. My homec teachers.Though they make a difference. But don't
you guys think also music makes adifference. I mean when they sit,
when people come to you and theysit in this hyperbaric chamber, they can
listen to their own type of it'sa good point because it's relaxing, so
(13:28):
they pick what they wanted, yes, and it just helps them. Don't
you think music helps? Music isawesome medicinal, Yeah, it's medicinal.
We have binural fineral audio that weuse for our audio vestibular. Well,
she kept waking me up though, checking on me job. I was just
doing We thought you were dead.It was so cool. I was relaxed,
(13:52):
I was chilled out, It feltgood. I wasn't a worry in
a world. I would you feellike when you walked out of there,
I felt a lot better. Andthe other day she put some thing on
me. You want to talk aboutthat when we come back, because I
don't know if you put something onmy chest from my heart, and I
felt a lot better. So music, music is integral. I mean we're
made up of vibrations. Our bodiesare made up of frequencies, and so
we do actually integrate the vibrations inour practice. That is one of the
(14:16):
things that helps to get your bodyinto balance. I knew that. That's
why I had that interview slated forwere here. No, I didn't know
that. Come on, let's takeone more caller before we go to break.
Molly, you are on the airwith us. We are talking to
the Avenue Wellness Center of the Ladiesthere. What's up? Well, you
know what, this is totally totallyoff your subject. Okay, and I
(14:39):
don't know how much I can sayon air, but my little town,
my square is being evacuated because ofa bomb threat and possible shooter situation.
Okay, you know what. Wewere just talking about, Sunbury, Sunbury,
the Kroger. Yeah. But no, well, no, this is
(15:01):
on the square, my square whereI'm live. This is my feelings.
I live here and I've worked myFannie off to own my house and enjoy
my house and my property. Whoare these people to think they can come
in and bomb threat the community andevacuate everybody. You know what, We
(15:22):
need to let the cops do theirjob, all right, Molly, you
row can be safe. That isjust what we were talking about at the
beginning of the show. Because there'sbeen so many violent things that have been
happening. We hated to cut youoff, Molly, but we do have
to go to break here. Youguys are sticking around for Riva, right.
Yes, I love those passionate callers, and she's right, a bomb
scare and it's Sunbury on the squareand Sunbury what does this world coming do?
(15:46):
We're going the devil's back, man, This is raw Mindian Boots on
news radio six ten WTVN. Allright, another update from the caller who
called in about the active shooter andbomb square on the Sunbury Square was just
posted. No active shooter in thesquare. Suspicious call came in. First
responders clearing cars and buildings and theyare tracking the number where the call came
(16:08):
from. A post will be madeon Facebook by the Sunbury Police once additional
info is available. I don't thinkit's a very smart idea to make those
crank bomb scare calls, but youknow what, they're never going to learn
until something serious happens. Just likewe were talking about the bus driver,
all those kids, those couple handfulof kids that cause such trouble. Not
(16:30):
one apology was made to that school. That bothers me morning. Anything I
want to reach out to the pets. Whon't we try to figure out what
the kid and get the mom onthe dad of that little girl that's sprayed
to perfume and see if he hasany regrets. You know why, boots,
because those things, it all startsat home, and if you don't
have parents teaching your kids right fromwrong and teaching respect, you're going to
keep having problems and issues like this. It'll be worse than bomb scared threats.
(16:55):
But also spraying perfume knowing that shehas asthma, they were also honestly
jeopardizing their own safety. Good pointbecause if she had an asthma attack,
which she very well could have, running driving the bus a little boy,
who knows what would have happened toall of those children. So she did
though she had she had to pulloff the side of the road because it
(17:15):
affected her asthma. So you're right, they put their own selves. That
happen A toilet paper in a house, okay, right, or a house,
but I mean things and then running. Yet you sound like you have
experience and running or you'd call someoneup and asked, do you have not
(17:37):
something that in a can there wassome tobacco? Do you have Prince Albert
in a can you know, laughinghilariously, then you better let him out.
Is your refrigerator running? Well, yes it is you Bret, go
catch it? Yeah. Can youimagine if your hyperbarry chamber at the Avenue
Wellness Center could bring respect? Likeput the kids in zillionaires. We'd have
(17:57):
to start with the parents, thatis where it starts. Put them in
the chamber will like infuse good parentingskills, and then it would trickle down
to their kids. Can you guysdo that? Actually? I mean you'd
have to sanitize movies and sanitize allthe stuff that they're getting because a lot
of what they're getting doesn't come fromtheir parents. Parents don't even know it.
Well, they're too busy working threejobs. They at too much house,
(18:18):
too much cars, too much debt, and for Joe Biden to pay
off their cell phones. To behonest, a lot of a lot of
kids that are that are acting out, a lot of people in this world
that are sharp, it's because they'rein pain, they have inflammation. Truly,
I am gonna s go back.Truly, the hyperbaric does help.
It helps with thought process, Ithelps to balance the chemicals in the brain.
(18:42):
Well it makes sense, So giveyour information, you guys. If
someone wants to check it out,and again that assessment is free. Just
go visit them at the Avenue WellnessCenter again it's Avenue without an E on
the end, and get a freeassessment. Then just go from there.
Absolutely get a hold of them,Courtney. You can call us anytime,
(19:03):
leave a message. If we don'tanswer, we will get right back to
you at six one four three onenine three three five four, or you
can email us at info at theAvenue A V E. N U Wellness
dot com. All right, thereyou go. I guess we'll be back
next week. You're here for twomore hours. I'm here for two more
hours. Yeah, ladies, thanksfor coming in. It's always fun having
(19:23):
you. Thanks so much for havingus. Thanks for the girl power.
Didn't work so well those yeah, trivia, we didn't do very well with
this. We'll be back next Sunday, same time and all that fun stuff.
