(00:00):
This just then Donald Trump mocked upthe dumped the off the wall. You
said you got to let the publicknow also caused Titanic. Titanic, I
mean he was on a roll.I did not know he was over a
hundred years old. My husband ishaving a blasting all these things on TikTok.
He sends like every single one.He thinks it's just so funny.
The people on TikTok, though, are very clever, you know, sign
(00:24):
whatever it is, but there canbe very clever with what they come up
with. So did you vote onthe special election on August eighth? Are
you are absolute? Our listeners statedshe one was a big deal and it
did go down to defeat State RepresentativeBeth Lear. And I know your feelings
toward this. Did you think thatit had a chance to pass? Beth?
(00:47):
I was hopeful. And I alsothink that Donald Trump is responsible for
the extinction of all the dinosaurs.Yeah, that's true. I forgot about
the one, poor guys responsible for. I've never seen any politician since I've
been alive. That's so many peoplefear more than Donald Trump. It's crazy,
Beth, Isn't it crazy? It'sabout as crazy as why they seemed
(01:11):
to fear Issue one passing. Itwasn't a crazy idea, but there were
so many lives, so much moneyspent against it. And if you want
to talk about any of that,I'm happy to do it. I just
feel it's unfortunate because we've now putthe first sales sign on Ohio, and
(01:32):
those leftist groups who were so successfulare going to be here and math every
time there's a major election. Beth, I will tell you this, some
of my friends who are conservative Catholicconservative even voted no simply because they didn't
understand it. I think that itwas confusing for people. I really do,
unless you really did some research, unless you know, like where I
(01:53):
learned a lot of it was goingto church on Sundays because they really talked
a lot about state Issue one andhow you need to vote on it.
But I think it was confusing forpeople. I really do. Bet yes,
it was intentionally made confusing by theother side. I mean, we
had people knocking doors and telling folksthat if they voted yes, they were
(02:14):
going to kill babies. So youpeople were going all out to tell lies
about it. But it's also understandable. You've got a system that. Frankly,
I don't know that schools are reallyteaching about anymore. So people don't
know the difference between the Constitution andthe Revised Code, and why are they
(02:36):
different, and why is it importantto make sure the Constitution stays at least
consistent so that it can be theguardrails for our revised code. If you
have a constitution that bends with thewind and the whims of culture, then
you're going to have law that isinequitable and not not really well understood.
(03:05):
And that's exactly what ended up happening. Is they what happens? It's just
unfortunate. Where does that mental illnesscome from? I just don't understand.
How does anybody let's just say itwas all about abortion, let's go and
just throw their lie out there. How does anybody give birth halfway, kill
the baby and live with that?Who endorses that? I mean, is
this this purple hair, chubby whackogirls. I'll say it. I'm so
(03:29):
sick of them on social media flippingpeople off, getting your face. I
can't even have a civilized conversation tounderstand why they want what they want.
I mean, what's your take onthat? Because they're so angry. Yeah.
Why, well, I mean everybodywants everything they do to be acceptable
behavior and they want the society togive them a rubber stamp that says yes,
(03:52):
you're okay. And the reality iswe just live at a time when
people don't want to take responsibility fortheir bad choice. So this is what
you end up with. And ofcourse you have people that make money off
of it. Sure, the olderthe child in utero, the more money
Planned Parenthood makes by selling off theorgan. Let let's be honest. So
(04:14):
what happens now? Okay, saysstate she one went down to defeat the
no votes one. So it reallydoesn't change things as of now. But
the change could happen on a Novemberelection. Well, yeah, it doesn't
change what happens going forward. Westill have the referendum, which is if
you don't like a laws, there'sthe legislature passes, you can get it
(04:36):
on the ballot and with fifty percentplus one you can overturn it. We
still have the citizen initiated statute, which is still fifty percent plus one,
and both those would have stayed thatway. This fall. We probably will
have marijuana as a statute, andthen we should also have because on Friday,
(05:00):
the Supreme Court rejected the lawsuit. Will still have the Planned Parenthood ACLU
amendment for reproductive healthcare for individuals. We have to go to break Beth,
but I wanted to ask you whenwe come back, because I know you
were working on a House bill thatwas going to make single sex bathrooms across
the schools in Ohio and the universitieswhere if you were a boy, that's
(05:24):
the way God made you, youwould use a boys bathroom and the same
for a girl. I want tosee where that where that bill is now
because I know you wanted it intime for schools to reopen, So we'll
check in with that. Okay, great, Yeah, okay, hold on
Many boots on news Radio six tenWTVN Beth Lear, State Representative. We're
talking to and I know, Beth, going into the summer you were working
(05:46):
on a house bill because before theschool year started, you wanted this bill
to pass so boys had to useboys bathrooms and girls had to use girls
bathrooms. Makes perfect sense to me. But what happened, Well, it
was intentionally shelved. Supposedly it's goingto be picked up right before the primary
(06:09):
and voted on. But it meansthere's an entire additional school year where the
kids are going to continue to someof them are going to take advantage of
those rules, right, I mean, how many young boys do you know
that aren't interested in getting into thegirls locker room if they can get away
with it. So, you know, we do have people who genuinely are
(06:30):
confused and they need love and supportand help, but we should not be
opening the door to allow them orgirls to be victimized. So we're hoping
we'll get some movement, but wehave no idea when the house is actually
going to even be back in session. It's weird. I'm sorry, it's
(06:51):
just weird. If you put mein a time machine and go back thirty
years or well, when I graduatehigh school in nineteen eighty six and say,
hey, gonna be showering with thegirls, we'd be like, yeah,
whatever, I mean, where wherehas it gone south? I just
don't get it. I don't thinkwe really have enough time to get into
the Alfred Kinsey and everything that hasgone wrong in our culture. But you're
(07:15):
right, things are so confusing, and it's the opportunities for us to have
healthy wonderful relationships and to love whowe are and who God made us to
be. Are just being taken awayfrom kids by people who don't care about
them at all every day. It'sheartbreaking. Well, and here's the issue
too. A friend of mine, her husband is a superintendent up in the
(07:38):
Cleveland area, and she helped Chaparound the prom there and she said that
some of these students identify as aboy one day, and then next week
they identify as a girl. Soyou can basically use a boy's bathroom when
you want or a girls bathroom whenyou want. And you wonder why so
many families homeschool these days, Wellwe don't wonder. We know exactly why
(08:01):
they're homeschooling, and why the legislaturepushed through ed choice for all, even
though not everybody will get one hundredpercent of a scholarship. So I mean,
there are a lot of reasons tochoose alternatives. We really need to
get some strong legislation through that's goingto restore education to an academic foundation so
(08:22):
they stop experimenting on our kids, because what's happening is beyond tragic. It
should be criminal. See. Ithink if I evaluate this my own little
opinion. I think it's the mothersthat want the attention and some of the
fathers that sacrifice their kids future becausethey're wacko to being in with. And
(08:43):
I'll say it, I don't care. I'll take all the hate, hate
mail you throw at me because Ithink it's strange because if I went to
my dad said I was a girl, heatth either backhanded me or laugh so
hard my brothers would it would havebeen amazing. Beth, keep fighting the
good fight out there. We appreciateget you and we always appreciate your time
on Raw. Thank you both.Stay healthy, Boots, No, I
