We're sorry we didn't get you on a little earlier
when we saw that we had well actually we didn't
notice your calling until we had a commercial break, But
I would have loved to have you on the air
when we were talking to Bailey Anderson about that animal
abuse case about the dog being thrown to the ground.
So what is your comment, Barbara, What my comment is?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
You know, not only should he not get this dog back,
he should never ever in his life have another animal,
as far as I's right, you know, right, So you
just don't do that, And I think you know the
laws need to change. If you consider an animal like
a child, you know, which is about where their functioning
level is, you know, then they should get the same

have the same as you know, a child being abused,
given the same you know, give them the same consequences
for that.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I just I would love to see a breakdown on
how many officer calls are dog related now, its particular
neighbors hoods, because make no mistake, the officers no longer
can do their job. They're not allowed and they can't
take that call on. They will find a hundred reasons

not to go on that call. Now suburbs of Columbus
like Westerville, Grove City. I'm going to both ends of
the spectrum. Reynoldsburg, but Columbus PD. Those guys are under
such scrutiny that by the sound of his name in
the neighborhood, she said, that officer is on pins and
needles because if that young man pulls a firearm and

he defends himself, that officer goes to prison.

Well, look at the officer right now going through the
court system to such as the parking lot incident at
the Krueger in Westerville. Hey, Barbara, along that same line,
I got a message from a friend of mine, Kathy,
and she texts me she was also listening to that
interview with Bailey Anderson, and she said, if you can
abuse an animal, what does that say about caring for
a child? Sounds like an empty, ugly heart in a

bigger picture. Wouldn't it bring to light potential child abusers?
And yes it would. That's been proving time and time again.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
His wrap sheet, she said, he's his I guarantee if
you pulled him up on the internet, you'd be like whoa.
And the system is let us down because it's no
longer the law. It's like, well, wait, who what is
she here? It's just the way it is now. And
I do a lot of police ride alongs. I'm not
going to call him out, but there's been ride alongs

where a certain situation comes on that computer and we
find a reason not to go on the call in.
I don't care if you hold a gun in my head.
I won't tell you when, where, or who, but I
could tell you it goes on. And the officers love
when I share this with because they can't do their job.
You go down one sixty one and there's a car
in front of you with expired tags, they will not
pull them over their windows, you know's how illegally tended

windows are nowadays. They won't even pull you for that.

I thought they were legal. I thought I did think
you can.

Now there's still there's no You can't have dark windows.
It's illegal. But you can't pull people over.

That that not being able to pull people over, arrest
of them or you know whatever. It's just wrong.

It is wrong.

Columbus Humane and from eleven in the morning until two
o'clock this coming Friday.

Okay, and we's the Humane Society.

There's different. Look up Columbus Humane because there's a yeah,
