Speaker 1 (00:02):
This was the most confused I was for Rivia lighting
up because Jill is a ringing patience. Because I'm hearing
from Jill. She said, I'm calling and calling and calling,
nobody's answering, and then we're trying to get Joe's mom,
Jill on the line. So like, we've got Jill, and
I'm like, and I'm texting with Jill. She said, no,
it's not her. I think we have both Jill's that
(00:24):
are going to compete now for Rivia.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
First of Jack and Jill went up the hill to
get a bit.
Speaker 1 (00:28):

I'm never doing revia anymore again. I'm done.

Okay, you know what, we got to hang up with
the static. It's really it's gotta go.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
There you go, thanks, Ashley. Okay, so they're both champions.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Wendy's. Kathy was named after Dave Thomas's daughter, whose real
name is Melinda. Is that true or false. False, That
is true. Oh wow, her real name. She was only
called Wendy.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
For a nickname. I think I still got my mom
on the lne.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Kathy.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Okay, Jill, this question, this question is for you, birthday girl.
Wendy's First opened on Broad Street in downtown Columbus in November.
It was November fifteenth. But what year was it? Was
it nineteen forty nine, nineteen fifty nine or nineteen sixty nine?
Oh gosh, you said sixty nine? Correct?
Speaker 5 (04:55):
I remember that she talks about them all the time.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, I guess that would have been a couple of
years old.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Let's try sixty nine because I would have.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Been That's correct. If you would have been your son.
He was probably already doing the math because I said
it turned fifty six years old. So what year was it?
Nineteen sixty nine? All right, Kathy? Back to you. When
Wendy's First opened, it had five items. You could choose
from five items on the menu burgers, fries, Frosty's soft drinks,
(05:29):
and was the other one chili salad or ice cream cones.
It's up to you, Kathy, Chili chili is correct? What's
the score?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Boot tied?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
We are tied. Okay, next question is for you, Jill.
Best selling item today at Wendy's is what is it?
The Wendy's single burger, the frosty or the French fries.
What's the biggest selling item at Wendy's today?
Speaker 5 (05:56):
Frosty fries.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Oh, realize you know why they said it changed. They
changed their So now that is the top is the
most selling item, the biggest Which is what state? This
is for you? Kathy? What state does not have a
Wendy's in it? Wyoming, Utah or zero? Because every state
(06:21):
has a Windy's. I'd say zero. That is correct. Now
what's the score.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
It's tied again, is it? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (06:31):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (06:32):
So here's the tiebreaker. Whoever's closest wins. How many Wendy's
locations are there in America?
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Joe, you're first.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
Oh my gosh, I don't even get a choice mobile choice.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
No, there's at least fifty because the closest number wins.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
How many Wendy's locations in the country are there.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
In a country, Let's say five thousand.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Okay, Kathy, thirty six hundred. Birthday? Oh, the birthday is
the winner?
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Twelve twelve thousand.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
I think I'm saying your mom is the closest.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
I was gonna say about fifteen thousand.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Nope, Jill, you beat them all five thousand, nine hundred.
The Birthday Girl, the Birthday Girl, the birthday Girl one Rivy. Sorry, Kathy.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
The good thing is I save stamps because everybody's involved
in the world.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
And Jill other champion. Jill call back next.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Week, but not in a static.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Yeah, wherever were you're at, put the road to tiller
or turn it off. I don't know what you're chopping
up this time of year. We're gonna go to break
this raw Mini Boots on news radio six ten WTVA.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
You know it's left.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
We've been going as how many years?
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Too many?
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Okay, twice we've had technical difficulties. That's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
No, I think there's been more than twice, Like Marle.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
I mean, like really bad stuff. Now we're very lucky.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
It's the curse of Kylen.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Kyleen Chuck e Cheese back in the day.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
So let me ask you both. We have such a
veteran when it comes to being a financial advisor and
helping people get everything in a row so they can
retire without worry. Because I think that's the main goal
for everybody. You want to reach a certain part of
your life where you don't want to work anymore and
you want to enjoy everything that you've saved and saved
and saved. So best words of wisdom, Kathy will start
(08:33):
with you first. For someone who's maybe never had a
financial advisor before, and they're really thinking about it and
considering it because they know down the road it's the
best decision they can make. Well, you need a.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
Plan and you need a company that's going to be
around to take care of you. Most people don't have
a plan. They're just wandering around from here to there.
And it's an area where we get very little education
practice none in our school system. So you need a professional.
(09:04):
It's like when you need surgery, you generally go to
a surgeon. You don't try to do that yourself. Not
that's not really a good plan. So you need a
company that you can work with that's been there, proven themselves.
And I think that's what you have with peak retirement
for sure.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
Yeah. So many people say you don't know what you
don't know?
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Right?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
I mean, so many people we see they're just they're
not doing things correctly within their plan.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
If they're doing it on their own or.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Even a lot of people work with advisors who maybe
just doing investments for them, they're not doing the whole picture, correct.
You know, they don't have the CPA working together. They
don't help you know, with the state, plenty documents and
all the things that go into building out a conferenceive plan.
So I think people just need to get help, get
help from a team they can trust and you know,
do things the right way.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
And let's face it, we don't get excited about it.
I'd brother have someone like you that doesn't form you know,
someone it's just someone.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Does it because I don't get a bag. Let's go
check on wuch' make investments. I mean that's a great point.
I mean the of it.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yes, right, that's exactly right, because honestly, Boots, would you
know even what to do? I wouldn't. You wouldn't know where
it wouldn't bet.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
I mean, back in the day my four oh one K,
I just was like, okay, here, this one looks cool.
With twenty five in the radical one that makes sense.
They had it all broke down in HR and you
didn't know what you were doing.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Come a little room.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
You had some college educated dudes walking around. You're like, Okay,
you mark some boxes and you go back to work.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah. Kathy may have told me this one. She said, Uh,
you know, how many retirements have you planned?
Speaker 5 (10:28):
Oh, well, we've served, We've We've helped hundreds of people
retire comfortably. So you may want to get some help. Exactly.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Well, I think you guys said it in a nutshell.
You let all these other professionals take care of you
for your needs health wise, physical wise, mental wise, why
not do it financial wise? And that makes so much sense.
We do. Our whole family trusts you, and we could
not be happier, couldn't be happier. In fact, we're going
to go buy another lake house. You no, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
You know what. I bet a million bucks on that one.
I suppressed. You know, why shouldn't buy on the water.
It was like an X fifty grand and I can
walk there.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
We can walk there, yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Or where I would be on the water with five
bedrooms in my lake house car and the car in
the car in between had to be as nice.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
He just couldn't eat for the next five years.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Try to sell something else, all right, best.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Way for people to reach out to you, Joe, and
they want you to be their advisor as well.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, so if they go to Peak Retirement Planning, they
can do two things. They can go to our website.
There they can either request a book if they just
want to learn more about us, or learn more about

Speaker 1 (11:29):

TV all time talking about the books. And you know
they can reach out and schedule a fifteen minute call
with us as well if they're looking to explore working
