Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Have big Friday, friends, Thank you so much for starting
yours with us. It's going to be a great weekend
and it starts right now. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Cardi b has had her fourth child.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
This is her first kid with her boyfriend Stefan Diggs,
who plays in the NFL. They welcome to baby boy,
so congratulations to them. He celebrated last night on the
football field with the game best nine receptions for one
hundred and five yards. And now Cardi is going to
celebrate by gearing up for her next tour that kicks
off early next year. I believe like three or four
(00:33):
months away.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
So good for her to have a fourth kid and
be ready to go on tour. That is not easy
to do. But congrats to both of them.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Got some sad news now, Nashville SC captain Walker Zimmerman
is leaving US.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
He's headed first free agency.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
According to GM Mike Jacobs, he spent six seasons with
the Nashville He's a member of the US men's national
soccer team, and I know that national is really gonna
miss him. So this is a big bummer, but we
wish him the best at the same time. You know,
we're allowed to be sad and also excited for him.
Two things can be true at the same time. Bitter
Sweet and Trader Joe's has added to their viral bag
(01:12):
lineup with a tiny micro tote bag. So these new
totes are a canvas microtote They're only like four by
five by three by five inches, so they're teeny tiny.
Two ninety nine is what they cost. They come in red, green,
or blue. But this is the thing you might think, oh,
a thing that's small, it can't fit anything inside. There
(01:33):
is a reusable tote so it holds another toe, so
it's still practical despite how small it is. And it's
a nice little way to hold a reusable tote bag
if you're gonna go shopping at Trader Joe's. Fans are
loving them online. They're getting creative with ways to use them.
They're doing keyholders, mini purses, Christmas ornaments with them. They're
(01:53):
available now nationwide at all of the stores, and obviously
they're gonna sell out, just like every single tote bag
that Trader Joe's makes sells out so fast.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
It is still just so weird to me. The things
that catch on and go viral like that, like those two.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Never you can never guess what it's going to be.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
I know, did Starbucks did?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
I know that's what they were trying to do with
that little bear, like their little barrista.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
That they released.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I feel like I kept seeing pictures of that, but
I don't think it's quite as on fire.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Did go kind of viral, but it's not the same,
I don't think. And honestly, Elegy here in Nashville does
the honey Bears.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
They did it first.
Speaker 7 (02:30):
They do.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Starbucks ripped them off.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
They did it first, and Elergy tastes better.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Those Elergy burritos. Man, treat yourself to an Elgie burrito.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
He's Friday Love.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
ELERGI burrito are bomb too.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Drive in for one of these burritas. You're not going
to regret it. Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Let's get back into the music. Here's Alex Warren. We
have more tickets into Lame visit Teapac. Last chance of
the week to get them one.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
Wait?
Speaker 6 (03:14):
What kind of pretzels?
Speaker 5 (03:15):
All kinds of pretzels are they?
Speaker 7 (03:17):
Like?
Speaker 8 (03:17):
The I was singing the big jumbo pretzels you buy
from the concession stands.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
Zech is so excited about this.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I love pretzels.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Did you guys do little bags like snack sized bags
or big bags or all of the.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Love all the I love that you guys are just
naming random literally, David said, all kinds of pretzels, And
you guys are naming random types of.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
What about those little Hawaiian pretzels they give you on
a Southwest flight?
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Those are so good?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yo?
Speaker 6 (03:43):
They sell those at Kroger Now, I love those, David.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Do you normally get this response when you say that
you packed pretzels?
Speaker 7 (03:49):
No?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Only here, only Pttel people.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Totally makes sense. Wait, I will ask, I think what
most people genuinely want to know. Do you get to
take a lot of pretzels home?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah? Two bags?
Speaker 5 (04:02):
A week, two bags a week.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Yeah, okay, so you get to try all the different
flavors and different you get, like your favorite ones.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
I would love that. I'm all about if it's free,
it's for me. So if my job gives me something
for free, I'm taking it.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Living on pretzels. What about snack factory pretzel chips? Did
you have any whatever? Those are called pretzel crisps.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
We tried them sometime this summer, but.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
It didn't work out. Those flat ones, those are those
are the bomb in my house.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Okay, David, we can keep asking you about pretzels for
apparently hours, but I'm very excited to tell you that
you are the first color of the day on one
of seven five of the River.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
You are getting these tickets to see lame is a
Teapac next year in January.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Okay, okay, that's my favorite response ever to winning something.
Speaker 8 (04:49):
Okay, when you come downtown to go to tea pack,
can you please bring us some pretzels?
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:57):
Yeah, not requirement. We can't make you do that. Thank
you for listening.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Broke a record for the amount of times we said
pretzels in two minutes.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
We're gonna let this man go to sleep, hang on
so we can get your information.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Nice to meet you, hang on, have fun at le miss.
All right, Okay, thank you God.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
Who knew my Friday would start with the Pretzel King.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
I'm so excited for the Pretzel King of Nashville.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
I love him so much.
Speaker 7 (05:23):
Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
It's hard to keep up with things happening here in
Nashville because there's just so much every weekend. So every Friday,
on one of seven, five of the River, Zach puts
together a list of some things that you can get
into this weekend. Family stuff. Just you know, if you
like bar hopping, if you like activities outside. He's always
got everything that you can imagine. So Zach tell us
what we can do this weekend.
Speaker 8 (05:48):
And now let's break it down and start with the
Franklin Farmers Market. It is tomorrow from eleven am to
four pm.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Listen.
Speaker 8 (05:56):
It's completely free. They're gonna have a bunch of family
friendly festivity. They're gonna have a bunch of different vendors.
They're gonna have free photos with Santaja is.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
So busy already, guys.
Speaker 8 (06:06):
Yeah, So Santa is gonna be there at the Franklin
Farmer's Market tomorrow that's eleven am to four pm. Also
Ricky mentioned this earlier, but goat Yoga is also happening
tomorrow morning at ten thirty and the address is twenty
six twenty six York Road is where you can go
to do it. And so you go do yoga with
(06:26):
goat and they're gonna be dressed up.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Goat with oata, do yoga with goats.
Speaker 8 (06:33):
The goats are gonna be dressed up, so they're gonna
be so ready for you and your goat yoga.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Also wait, it says dressed up in like sweaters.
Speaker 8 (06:41):
Yeah, I have to go, guys, Christmas.
Speaker 6 (06:45):
I've never done.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yoga before in my life, but oh my god. Also
the place is called Goat Yoga Nashville, just so you know.
Speaker 8 (06:53):
Also, this is one of my favorite things that happens
every single year. But Christmas Village is officially back Cutie
at the Nashville fair Grounds. It is all week and
long at the Nashville Fairgrounds. They have like over two
hundred and fifty different merchants.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
So they have like toys, clothing, jewelry, home decor.
Speaker 8 (07:09):
They have so much stuff to get you in the
holiday spirit, so you can decorate for Christmas. You can
buy presents. Tickets are fifteen dollars online or at the door,
whichever you prefer. This is also really cute. Sewarts Creek
Middle School Craft Fair is tomorrow from nine to three,
so you can just go to Stewart's Creek Middle School
and they're gonna have a bunch of different vendors offering
(07:31):
homemade goods, crafts, tasty treats from food trucks.
Speaker 6 (07:34):
It's a full family friendly event.
Speaker 8 (07:36):
You just go to Sewart's Creek Middle School tomorrow from
nine to three. It's in Smyrna, by the way. And
then lastly, Kevin, I feel like you're really.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
Gonna love this one.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
Ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.
Speaker 8 (07:46):
It is the Nissan Smyrna Recycling Pickup And if you
don't know what that means, this actually makes me really excited.
So you bring all of your hard to recycle items
to the Nissan Smyrna Recycling Roundup.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
And so basically you just take it to the newe
On plant, Smyrna.
Speaker 8 (08:01):
So they're accepting things like tires, mattresses, scrap metal, styrofoam, all.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Of these different things.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
So things that are hard to get rid of.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (08:11):
So, and then the other cool part is is local
vendors are actually processing the materials to reduce landfill waste.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
I love this.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
They're actually going to be using this. This is great
throwing it in the landfill.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
We need to make this a regular thing. I like that.
We honestly do so.
Speaker 8 (08:25):
If you have a bunch of like really hard to
recycle items, take them to the Nissan plant. It is
Saturday from nine to one and you can just drop
it off there. It'll be recycled, process and taking care of.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
Their wonderful love it. Yeah, it's a busy weekend, Thank you, Zach.
Very comprehensive list.
Speaker 8 (08:39):
A lot going on, cat job Buddy, three things.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Happy Friday, friends, Let's go just after seven o'clock. Ricky
Sanchez is our top dog and she's about to lay
down the law.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
Ricky, what's going on? Top Dog?
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Law Facts has confirmed Shogun two is gonna start filming
next year.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
This is huge. Filming is gonna happen in.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Vancouver in January with several new cast members. The season
picks up ten years later, continuing the story. It's going
to continue to see how Turanaka and Black Thorn, their
lives weave together. The episodes will air on FX and Hulu.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
This is huge.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Everybody's really excited. Fans are going nuts on social media.
They got eighteen Emmy wins, which is a record breaking
for the first season, so they know what they're doing.
I think I'm actually gonna start watching now that there's
gonna be a second season because I want to see, you.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Know, what all the hype is about. I always love
to see what all the hype is about, so I'm
gonna start watching it probably this weekend.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Twelve South is getting a new sushi restaurant with a
walk up window, and by getting, I mean it's already open,
so Sushi San. They serve things like nagiri, sashimi, maki
hand rolls, They have.
Speaker 5 (09:54):
Small plates, sixty.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Five different Japanese whiskeys as well. Zach and I are
going to to try it out, so we will definitely
report back from our experience.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
We are super pumped about it. We're gonna have lunch
there tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
But it looks amazing, so we will keep you posted
on how good it is.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
And Dorito's and Cheetos.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
They have debuted colorless naked options and KD is what
it's called. Yesterday, Pepsi Coo announced that their new colorless
products will be for Dorito's Nacho cheese, cool Ranch flavors
and Cheeto puffs and Flame and Hop flavors.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
So these are dubbed simply naked and KD.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
They're gonna be made without artificial flavors or dies, so
their color is gonna be pale yellow as opposed to
the other colors that you're used to. The announcement comes
from pressure, you know, by the federal regulators who say
that they're gonna start phasing out petroleum based synthetic dyes
in our food supply by the end of next year,
so they're getting ahead of the curve. They can be
pre ordered immediately online and you can find them in
(10:52):
stores starting on December first, which is really great.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
I'm Rique Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Pariki, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
One seven the River.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Tax got effect, Tex got effect. Jex got effect just
for you on one oh seven five the River. That's
pretty good.
Speaker 8 (11:07):
Yeah, it was something I'll say it, but with it
beginning to be like cold and flu season, I actually
found this life hack, and I looked it up and
it actually does work. So if you like, boil some
water in the and then you put it in a
cup and you put it be underneath your ears, it
can actually help relieve ear pressure and congestion caused by
colds or allergies, and.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
It'll loosen up your mucus in the sinuses.
Speaker 8 (11:29):
HM, so much stuff to me, I don't know, No,
it's so true. I literally found it on so many
different websites. Just put like steamy water underneath.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
Your ears and it'll help clear it all out.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Try it out the season.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
There's your fact of the day, Doctor Zach on the case,
Thanks Zach.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
You accidentally put inside your washing machine something that does
not belong. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning
on one oh seven five the River. I ask this
to kind of try to make myself feel better because
I put something in the washing.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
Machine, okay, like silverware.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
So I love that. Guess. I love that. Guess.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
I'm not going to tell you yet what it is
because I want to hear what other people have done.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Okay, six, one, five, seven, three, seven nine, one oh seven?
Speaker 5 (12:17):
What you have accidentally put in the washing machine? I
mean I have a seven year old son, so I
can play this game as well. I mean I find
pine cones in there and rocks.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
The worst part is my fiance and my friend were.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Both there when it happened, and I pulled it out
and they both just RiPP me a park.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
Let us know what it was for.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
You, heik zach And in the morning.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Ricky accidentally put something in her washing machine recently, and
she's a little embarrassed by it. So now we're asking
you what you have accidentally put in yours. We have
Tabitha and Banaqua on the phone. Hi Tabitha, Hello, Hi there,
What have you put in your washing machine?
Speaker 3 (12:50):
My apple?
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Did it sarrive?
Speaker 1 (12:54):
No?
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Oh, and it didn't work out. I hate that.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
I thought they were waterproof. This is a maybe it's
all the banging around, you know, the soap.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
Oh, Tabitha, I'm sorry that that happened. That's such a bummer.
It's easy to do that though. You just take your
clothes off, it gets stuck inside your shirt or something
like that. You're not crazy for accidentally doing that. Mine's
a lot crazier.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
I lost it on vacation and found it in the water.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
Hey, at least you found it.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Yeah, yes, thanks for sharing with us.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Have a great weekend you too, Anna and Murphy's Boro.
Please tell us what you accidentally put in your washing machine.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Okay, there's two things.
Speaker 6 (13:37):
One was my husband's wallet.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
Ooh, and it fits through the whole cycle.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Yeah, that was That was fun. And then my AirPod. Oh,
your air pods.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
See the wallet is rough because I know how men
are with their wallet. At least if there are anything
like my fiance and my dad, they keep that wallet
until it's literally in pieces.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (13:58):
Did he have anything in the wall that they got ruined?
Like his Social Security card or anything?
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Why would you carry that, dak No, one's supposed to
carry that.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
With them, and that.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
We keep it.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Yeah, okay, good, that's smart. Anna.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
I will say I've washed and it worked on the
other side.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Yes, they actually still work amazing. Yeah, now they're just
extra clean.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
Okay, so us.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Could not wait, I put.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
An entire hangar in the washing machine without realizing that
the hangar was in the washing machine.
Speaker 6 (14:35):
What do you mean you didn't realize the hangar was
the washing I just.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
Put the whole lump of clothes into the washing machine,
and when I went to go put it in the dryer,
it broke into pieces and I just found.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
The pieces of plastic.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Yes, okay, so I almost put pieces of plastic in
the dryer, but I found them, and I was like,
what is this.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
It's a move.
Speaker 8 (14:58):
All of your clothes are covered in my pro plastics.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I probably were anyway already.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Yeah, and it wasn't good.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
It wasn't great.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Yeah, you was talking about your seven year old too.
I got a seven almost seven almost four year.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
Old, So yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
The boys they put so much stuff in their pockets
and they never think to empty them. I mean piles
of dirt literally going into the washing machine.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Thank you for calling. You have a great day.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Thank you you GULLO.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
Six one five seven three seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
If you want to join this conversation, what did you
accidentally put in the.
Speaker 7 (15:32):
Washington Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Happy Friday, Courtney and Dixon, Welcome to one O seven
five the River. Tell us what you've accidentally put in
your washing machine.
Speaker 8 (15:45):
I don't know if it's altman said, but it was
my cell phone.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
No arguing with somebody over text.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
So I was doing laundry and it went with close.
Speaker 6 (15:55):
Well, I mean that was a good way to end
the conversation. Yeah, but are you winning the argument? I
have no idea.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
I don't think I was.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
It seems like technology is the number one thing that
people accidentally put in the laundry, because it's been an
Apple Watch, air pods, and now the actual full.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Cell phone, the Apple products.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, it was an iPhone too.
Speaker 6 (16:18):
Accord didn't work afterword.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
No to get it fixed because I had just didn't
offer insurance and all of that.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Oh bummer. I can't imagine going a week without my phone.
That just gave me a chill up my spine.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Kevin has a problem.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
But unlesson learned, don't argue on your cell phone while
doing chores.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Oh yeah, I never bring it with me now or just.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
That's even better.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
Thank you for calling. Have a great Friday.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Thank you, Mason and Hendersonville. What was that thing that
you accidentally put in the washing machine?
Speaker 7 (16:53):
Nah?
Speaker 8 (16:53):
Again with the Apple products, this is like becoming an epidemic.
Speaker 5 (16:59):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
We already talked to somebody that did air pods, and
I've watched one single AirPod before so far nothing but
positive stories.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
How they still worked. On the other side, did yours work?
Speaker 6 (17:09):
Yes, indestructive.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Why do the air pods work but the cell phones
don't work when they get wet and the Apple watches.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
There's no screen?
Speaker 3 (17:21):
No, Maybe that's what gets messed up the most.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Well, Mason, you have extra clean AirPods, just like our
other caller.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
And uh, I'm I mean that it's still worked.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Yeah, thanks for calling, buddy, Bye.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
I got in a shower with my AirPods once.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Kevin, what will you do.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
With listening to a podcast?
Speaker 2 (17:40):
You know, it's like you're so deep in you just
kind of black out the world and next thing.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I know, you can't do one singular thing at one time.
Even though he's not good at multitasking.
Speaker 8 (17:49):
I'm just like so confused on how you can be
listening to a podcast and be like, you know what,
let me take all my clothes off, start the shower,
get in the shower with the podcast still going.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
That's psychotic behavior, Kevin.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
It was our podcast, Zach I was it was Zach's facts.
Speaker 7 (18:02):
It had me.
Speaker 5 (18:03):
Uh, well, that makes it a lot better.
Speaker 6 (18:05):
Heaven, you're allowed just.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Wake up happy with the Ricky, Zach and Mano in
the morning on the River, We're about.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
To play Kevin Banno's Game of the Day for these
matt Ripe tickets. Your last day to win them on
one O seven five the River is today.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
Kalisa in Ashland City. Welcome to the River. How are you?
Speaker 1 (18:24):
I'm good?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Thank you for asking how.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
I'm good as well. I'm happy it's Friday. What are
you doing right now?
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Uh said in my driveway?
Speaker 7 (18:32):
Why?
Speaker 5 (18:33):
Because I need to concentrate.
Speaker 6 (18:35):
Okay, fair enough, okay, star right.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
We like it, Kalisa.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
We're gonna ask you these questions. If you can get
two out of three of them right, you win. The
tickets are yours?
Speaker 5 (18:43):
Are you ready?
Speaker 3 (18:44):
I'm ready?
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Okay, here we go. Your game starts right now. Hopefully
you've been paying attention enough to get this one. Kind
of an easy one. Who will perform at the Super
Bowl halftime show in February.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Bad Bunny?
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Yeah, bad Bunny. I wish you could see Ricky smile
when you said bad bunny.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
She loves the man.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
Question two? You get this?
Speaker 7 (19:08):
You win?
Speaker 2 (19:09):
What River artist is back with a new album called
Toy with Me that's coming next year and a new tour,
which will bring her to Nashville in July. We debuted
a new song from her earlier this hour. Oh my god,
you was going to that show with you because they
(19:29):
just helped you win.
Speaker 5 (19:30):
Nice job.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Who's with you, Belisa? My friend?
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Hi friend.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
We heard the whisper, which wasn't a really good whisper
that it was so loud.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
We encouraged teamwork.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
We have no we are not mad about it. We're
just saying, your friend cannot whisper.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
You.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
Congratulations, Casa, you won the tickets. You're gonna see Matt Rife.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Awesome, Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
You're so welcome. Hang on the line, okay, love, all right,
she's on hold.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
That was fun.
Speaker 6 (20:10):
Kevin whispered just like her friends.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Just past eight.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
O'clock here on this Friday morning. We are so happy
it's Friday. We're so happy you're here with us. Ricky's
got those three things.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Taylor Swift is a nominee to be inducted into the
Songwriters Hall of Fame next summer. Each nominee selects five
songs that represent their songwriting talent.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Taylor picked Blank Space and a Hero.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Love Story, The Last Great American Dynasty, and her ten
minute version of All Too Well.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
These songs display her range and style.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
It's going to feature pretty much every one of her
primary collaborators as well, which is really cool.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
So if she's selected, though, this is amazing.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
She'll be the youngest inductee by more than a decade
because she'll be thirty six when she deserved it, which
is wild to think about.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Oh, we'll see how that goes next summer.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
One of the caveats here too, is that she does
have to be at the ceremony in order to win.
If she cannot make the ceremony, then she has to
forfeit and try again next year, So we'll.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
See how that goes.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
The old video app Vine is back kindest order, so
they're rebooting it under the name Divine with funding from
Twitter's former CEO. The plan is to feature ten thousand
previously are archived six minute vines or six second vines,
and the best part is that they're not gonna let
AI on the app at all, no AI whatsoever.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
They're all six seconds again, just like Vine was.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
It's a completely creator focused app and it's already available
in beta.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Form right now, so you can get it in the
beta form. We'll see how.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
It goes and we'll see if they can kind of
revive it again.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
But Vine was massive when it was out.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
Obviously it didn't have any competitors like TikTok, So we'll
see how it goes.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
But it's exciting.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Newsboy who grew up with Vine is super pumped about it.
Kroger's Monroe Street store has officially reopened after six months
of renovations. Zach is very happy about this. He's already
been there two, three times twice.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
That's my Kroger.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
The twenty two million dollar remodel adds a Starbucks, a
cheese shop, and Kroger pickup to the place. He's so
excited about it. He knows that Kevin loves grocery stores.
They literally facetimed inside of Broger yesterday.
Speaker 6 (22:27):
I went yesterday and I was like, Kevin, look at
this Kroger.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
It was so beautiful, so beautiful, so spacious, just really,
I mean, beautiful job, Kroger.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
What did you say you wanted to do with the Kroger?
Speaker 5 (22:38):
I want I want a roller blade in there.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
The floors are.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
So smooth and shiny and big and open and vast.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
It's just it's okay.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know, along with some other things that you
probably didn't.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Need to get really excited about. Grocery stores.
Speaker 7 (22:53):
This is a good one, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in
the morning.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Something on Friday over here at the River. We call
it the Leftovers.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
It's some topics that we didn't have a chance to
get onto the show during the week. You know, we
all bring things to the table, but there's only so
much time.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
So on Friday, as we go around, we each.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Get thirty seconds to present. We normally nominate Ricky to
go first. So Ricky, whenever you are ready, I will
start the Stopwatch.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
Start the Stopwatch. The holidays are basically here already, whether
you like it or not. So I'm going to tell
you how long it takes to overstay. You're welcome at
someone's home. So, according to a new survey, house guests
overstay they're welcome after six days.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
So this is about people who are staying with other people.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Okay, unless it's their own children, who are able to
stay for ten days before they start to be like,
all right, get the heck out of here, or their
in laws who are encouraged to leave after five days.
Speaker 8 (23:45):
Five days is way too many, when again it tay's
too long.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
A third of hosts start dropping hints that it's time
to go.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Twenty two percent admit though, that they'll flat out and
tell someone when they need to leave, like it's your
time today.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
It's shocking to me that like this plan wouldn't be
in place. And you know, like who has an open
ended trip than the just they don't know how long
they're staying.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Family, Kevin family does that a lot. It's just the
way of the world.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
Zach.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Are you ready?
Speaker 6 (24:10):
I was born right, all right, you got.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
To stop watch right, I'm ready, let's go.
Speaker 8 (24:14):
Okay, I want to talk about the worst roads in
America and all of the potholes because pet Boys actually
just came out with the new survey saying that Nashville
to the Sea.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
I was gonna say, Nashville better be on There.
Speaker 8 (24:24):
Was number seven of the metro areas with the worst roads.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Lower than I expected them to be on the list.
Speaker 8 (24:29):
Yeah, So I was like, Okay, when you're driving to work,
call and tell us basically where you are and where
the worst roads are. Because I live in North Nashville
and coming down into downtown, it's always I sixty five.
I sixty five always has the worst potholes. But then
I looked it up and apparently it does say I
sixty five and Antioch and Bordeaux are the worst places
(24:49):
for potholes and really bad roads. So it was my
idea to call in and tell us where you are
and how bad are the roads.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Right, that's a good idea. I like it.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Care Kevin, it's your turn. Start to stop.
Speaker 5 (24:59):
Watch starting right now.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Five ways to boost your immune system as we head
into flu season. Number one, optimize nutrition diversity. They say,
eat the rainbow. Don't just eat like just oranges all
the time, like eat a lot of variety of fruits
and vegetables.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
Number two, take it easy, get some sleep. Sleep is
very important.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Your immune system is far more likely to struggle if
you're worn out, in stressed and tired.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
Number three exercise.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
It boosts immunity by lowering the stress hormone levels and
your body lots of benefits to exercise. Number four, consider
vitamins and supplements. They are not magic pills, but they
might help you a supplemental piece of.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Your Your alderberry is very good for your immune system.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
There you go, and lastly, socialize.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
The bonding hormone oxytocin has been shown to lower stress levels,
reduce inflammation, and boost immune functions. So just hang in
with friends as a way to avoid getting sick.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Or it's the way to get sick.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Maybe if your friend has COVID or something, don't get
in a car with them.
Speaker 6 (25:55):
Or if you're out on Broadway till two am.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Yeah, okay, no, no, no, hang out with friends and
you'll stay healthy and that concludes the leftovers.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Ver Truly, one of the most fascinating things on planet
Earth is the creation of kids Bob. Yeah, and if
you don't actually agree with that, you're insane.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Today's daily double Table one O seven five.
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Of the River is the kids Bop version of Sabrina
Carpenter's Tears. Now we know the kids Bop takes all
these songs that have suggestive language in them and they
swap them out for things that are.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
Good for kids.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yeah, but sometimes they get really.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Weird and creative but strange.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
In my mind, there are certain songs that you just
shouldn't They shouldn't mess with because it's just I don't know.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Like when they did the Wop one, it's too much.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Here we go Today's day the double Tap Tears done
by kids Bop.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
My God.
Speaker 5 (27:01):
Okay, this is a little bit of it.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
This is a very short clip of it, but it's
obviously just interesting.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
So yea, how they swap out the word?
Speaker 2 (27:10):
I just wondered, do these kids have to listen to
the original in order to record their version?
Speaker 3 (27:14):
I would think.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
I hope nobody explains to them what the song is about.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Yeah, hey, they listen. They just smile at the thought
of you being a responsible guy. Yeah, I'll take that
smile at the thought of you being a responsible guy.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
Ricky Zach and Manow in the Morning
