Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Happy Friday, friends, here we go starting this brand new
day together.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
We made it.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor walked the Stranger Things
premiere red carpet together. And this is amid all of
these stories that Millie Bobby Brown filed a complaint with
pages of accusations against David Arbor for bullying and harassment
on the set of Stranger Things. But they showed a
united front at the premiere. I even saw pictures of
them like laughing. Yeah, so they arrived together. They hugged

(00:33):
on the red carpet for their final bow reps for
the two of them. Have not made any comment on
any of these harassment rumors as of right now. That's
what they basically are, are rumors. There's also still a
possibility that she did file these harassment uh you know, charges,
accusations they're not like charges charge. But yeah, like it

(00:56):
could have still happened, and maybe they've worked through it
at this point. I'm not sure, but season five is
going to drop in three different segments. Netflix releases four
episodes the day before Thanksgiving, so really soon, another three
on Christmas Day, and then there is a two hour
series finale that's gonna stream on New Year's Eve and
be synchronized from coast to coast in different movie theaters.

(01:18):
So hopefully they're okay. Whether something happened or didn't, they've
hopefully worked through it. Airport Security Service CLEAR has launched
new biometric eGates at BNA, so this allows only Clear
plus members to verify their identity with a face scan
before reaching the backcheck. They said the total transaction time
could be between three and six seconds, so it's supposed

(01:39):
to be really really fast. TSA keeps full operational control
of the eGate from triggering the gate access to vending security.
According to Clear, they don't have access to things like
government watchless, which is a little worrisome, but I guess
if TSA has full operational control, that's where they're supposed
to pick up the slack of if there is a

(02:02):
watch list or something along those lines. BNA is the
tenth US airport to adopt this new technology, so if
you have Clear plus, try it out. And there's a
new three by three x twelve wellness rule that's trending
on TikTok. It's actually really simple and for once. It's
a great idea. I feel like a lot of these
wellness hacks are not the best ideas, and then we

(02:22):
find out doctors are like, please don't do this, this
is actually terrible, But this one is a really good idea.
Fitness coach Abby Overturf suggests doing three things before noon,
walk three thousand steps, eat thirty grams of protein, and
drink one third of your daily water. Okay, which sounds
hard if you haven't done it before, work up towards it.
But if you can do those three things by noon,

(02:43):
it creates the momentum for the whole day, and then
it doesn't feel like once you hit two pm and
you're like, I haven't drink any water today, that you
then have to chug water, you know. So it's a
great idea. I think try it if you want to,
if you're on a wellness journey, if you're looking to
you know, do better of eating your protein and getting
your steps in and drinking water. Try it out. AMERG.

(03:04):
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
One O seven five the river, Heiky Zach and Mano.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
In the morning, the phone lines are already going crazy
because everybody that's been listening all week knows that we
have tickets to Railbird Festival for the first caller of
the day on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
This festival is coming up in June and Lexington the
Lumineers or headlining night one, Tyler Childers is headlining night two.
Ella Langley's also going to be there and Zach topping
camp And it's pretty awesome if you want.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
To be there.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
The last pair of the week, the last first caller
of the week.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Right, yeah, yes, Kevin one three.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Seven nine seven. I don't know why I always have
to get like granular like that, but Ricky doesn't like it.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
We're gonna talk to you next on this Friday morning.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Seven five the River saying good morning to Bob and
Murphy's Borough.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
What's up, Bob?

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Oh? Not much traveling.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Traveling from where to where? What are you up to?

Speaker 5 (03:59):
The way market road? Get stuff though. I work for
Sili's maintenance at the hospital.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Oh that's really nice. Yeah, that's really important. You know,
I never really thought about it because obviously you think
about the hospital, you think about the doctors and everybody
that works there, But maintenance is really important too, because
God forbid anything happens all these patients. You want them
to like be comfortable, they lose heat or air conditioning
or something like that.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
That's exactly what I do. I do the HVAC there,
so I keep every boy cold, keep everybody hot.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Well, that's amazing, Bob. I think that's really really important.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
You just opened up my.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Eyes to like how important that actually is. So thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Awesome?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Do you do?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I mean, is it HVAC for you or are you
doing other stuff? Are you fixing like leaky pipes or anything?
Are you simply HVAC?

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
I mean I do a little bit of everything down
my hands on a roof and project right now, Boilers,
it's I do a little.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Bit of everything, very similar you and I, Bob.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
That is not true at all, Bob. But Kevin cannot
fix anything. The fact that he just said, are you
simply h VAC? I was like, Kevin, I'd love to
see you try.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I hope you don't think I was saying that's not impressive,
because it's extremely impressive. I was just wondering, you know,
if he was a Swiss army knife and it sounds
like he is.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
It does sound like he is. Kevin, when's the last
time you picked up a hammer?

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I hung a picture the other day.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Okay, to be fair, I helped my wife level level level,
but my.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Wife was a foreman of the project, so I was
just there.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Supervisor is important.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Thank you, Bob.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I like, Bob, Bob's a little too nice to you, Ken.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Let's give him some tickets a railbroad festival. How about that.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
That's what we're gonna do. You're the first caller of
the day, Bob, on one of seven five the river.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
You got in these.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Tickets a railbird festival.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Congratulations, buddy, Thank you for it's a very important job.
And thank you for being here starting your day with us.
We appreciate that very much.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Thank you guys. You guys are reporting to you.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Oh that's really sweet. Thank you Bob. Wow, Now he's
nice to both of us.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah, he's a nice guy.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
I want to give me more tickets. I know we
can't do that, but I want to.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Thanks Bob. We're gonna put you out hold together.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
And thinking about that.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Oh ye yeah, Bob.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Bob is like if I got tickets now, and she
wants to give me more. I'm just gonna keep it going.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Getting here and yeah, we're gonna put you on hold
to get your info. But thank you, Bob.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Awesome, Thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
In one second, I like Bob a lot.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Bob's an awesome dude.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on Happy Friday.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
It's one o, seven to five the River. It's Ricky,
Zach and Mano in the morning. Every Friday, about this
time we run down some of the cool stuff happening
in town. If you're looking for something to do, something
to fill up the calendar with over the weekend, Ricky
is right here with a with a nice list.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Lots of stuff going on per usual. Middle Tennessee Tattoo
Expos happening all weekend at the Fairgrounds, Nashville. They have
two hundred and fifty tattoo artists ready to tattoo you.
There's also gonna be retail food and beverage vendors as well.
Tickets they start at twenty five dollars. Therefore, at Middle
Tennessee Tattoo dot Com if you want to go check

(07:03):
that out. If you're already in the holiday spirit, the
Sugar and Vice Pop up at Hidden Bar inside Noel Downtown.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
It's so bad, it looks so cool.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
They have like playfully glamorous holiday wonderland type vibes going on.
It's like pink and red and sparkles and all that.
So you could check that out. It's already open, so
if you want to get into that this weekend you can.
Singer Leon Thomas is playing Brooklyn Bowl tonight. Vandy is
playing Auburn tomorrow at First Bank Stadium. Game starts at

(07:32):
three pm. Heck yeah, the Preds play the Dallas Stars
tomorrow at Bridge Stone. Tickets are still available. Game starts
at two thirty pm. And also for those who are
into the holiday spirit, starting tomorrow, the Dancing Lights of
Christmas is all underway at James Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon.

(07:54):
It's thirty five dollars a car for the event. It'll
run through Sunday, January fourth, but it opens tomorrow. Crafty
Bastards Art and Craft Fair is tomorrow and Sunday at
One City. This is family friendly, dog friendly. It's got
over eighty different vendors selling a wide range of different goods,
pet products, home decor, clothing, everything you can imagine. Admission

(08:15):
is free, which like hardly ever happens for anything, So
you can go check that out. And this I'm so
excited about. On Sunday, my girl Meg, who does my hair.
Everybody always compliments my hair. That's all my girl Meg.
She is doing a Sunday Funday promotion so you can
get a thirty dollars wash and blowout to start your
week off right. You can only book it through texting hair,

(08:36):
so I'm gonna post all the details on our Instagram
stories at one O seven five of the River if
you're interested in this. But a thirty dollar blowout is
pretty very cheap, pretty affordable, pretty great, and obviously like
do it on Sunday and you're ready for the week,
start it off right, feeling good, feeling you know, frisky.
It's a great idea. I will follow us on Instagram

(08:56):
and find all the information there. Well.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Cool, Ricky, thank you, And I just want to say
I am proud of you for mentioning a couple of
Christmas things. I know that goes against every fiber and
your being. Just promote Christmas and November.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
I do it for you, Nashville. I do it for
you because I know all of you are so excited
about Christmas, even if I'm not.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Three Things you Need did just past seven o'clock here
on this Friday morning, Happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
We made it. Let's go. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Grammy nominations come out today. You can watch people like
Sabrina Carpenter, Dochi, and Chavarone make the announcements. The live
stream starts at eight am Pacific on the Grammy's website
and the Recording Academy's YouTube channel. This year's nominations are
less predictable than last year because we don't have people
like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish or Beyonce in the running
for anything. And there are new additions to the voting body,

(09:44):
like invitees from the Latin Recording Academy. So it's going
to be a very interesting one to see who is nominated.
And they'll have to wait until February first for the
Grammys to find out all of the winners. But I
will keep you posted Monday morning, obviously with a list
of everybody you need to know. There's a new bookstore
bar coming to Brentwood. I am pumped about this. It's

(10:07):
called The Raven. They're going to offer cocktails, mocktails, and
small plates at the bar, and since it's also a bookstore,
there's going to be a lot of author events, trivia nights,
fun things that are for you know, literary folks who
love to read. I love this idea. There's a bar
in New York City that is a wine bar but
also a bookstore, and it is so cool. I went

(10:29):
last year and you could just like drink a bottle
of wine and peruse all of the things that they
have and sit in their big, lush chairs and read
if you want. It's so nice. So I am very
excited that we're getting something kind of sort of similar
to that here in Nashville. Babysitters. The most popular baby
names for twenty twenty five is out. The most popular
girl and boy names are the same as last year,

(10:50):
Olivia and Noah, but there are some newcomers on the
top one hundred list. For girls, Juniper, Oakland, Sienna, and
Eloise have been added okay, And for boys, Malachi, Ali
and Arthur have been added to the top one hundred.
And I also just want to know I'm doing this
story but like as a woman named Ricky, names work

(11:11):
for everyone.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Yes, thank you for saying that.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Just want to throw that out there, say.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
My son, my son is named Riley, and every once
in a while he'll say, like, that's a girl's name,
and there are so many boy.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Riley's out there.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
It's in anybody name.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
It's olliwa it all works.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
It's in anybody name. Anybody could be Riley, anybody could
be Ricky, anybody could be Juniper.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
I appreciate saying that, just want to throw.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
That out there. I'mcky Sanchez. And those are the three
things you need to know for Ricky, Zach and Meno
in the morning on Zach's Fax on one oh seven
five the River by Kevin Mano for the last time.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yes, thanks, Zac should be back in here with this
on Monday. We're all looking forward to that. But Ricky,
did you know this one blew my mind? The lighter
actually predates the match? What the lighter came first? There
had been you know, crude versions of lightable sticks in
the past, but the matches that we know today we're
invented in eighteen twenty six.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
That's three years after the lighter.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
That's wild. Yes, you would totally think the opposite way.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Totally The lighter came first. Who knew? That's your fact
of the day.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Thanks Kevich, Ricky, Zach and Menno. In the morning on
a survey says that the average person has two personal
claimed spots at home. So I want to know what
are yours?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
So you're thinking, like like a spot on the couch
or a chair, or maybe you'll find me over here,
like in this seat.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I have a claimed spot on the couch. AJ has
a claim spot on the couch. We have specific seats
that we sit in for dinner, okay, like we have
claimed spots throughout our.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Survey makes sense?

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Six seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven. What is
your claimed spot at home? People know not to touch it? God,
I mean, I'm racking my brain. I don't think I
have one.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
What do you mean you don't I'm gonna keep that.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Well, we did just move into our house a few
months ago, so maybe that's that's my excuse.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
But I don't have a spot on the couch.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
That doesn't make any sense to me.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Living life all wrong.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Six.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
I do you know where to say?

Speaker 3 (13:04):
I stand?

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Six one five, seven, three seven seven your claim spot?
Maybe you can help me out. What's the best spot
to be in your clay spot.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
We want to know it's the river.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
There is a survey that says the average person has
two personal claimed spots at home. It's one of seven
five the river. I want to know what yours are.
Kevin doesn't have any.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Which the bed count no o.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Oh, Maya Murphysborough has three. Tell us your spots.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
I have a chair, like my living room chair that
nobody sits in.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
And if I walk in the room, somebody if somebody's
sitting there, and they will get up and move.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
It sounds pregnant.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
They're like, that's my chair.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Okay, So you have a chair in the living room.
And where else? I have a my spots, a dinner table.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
Everybody has their own spot, my whole.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
That makes sense to me. Yes. And then I have
a spot and like my little like library that nobody touches.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Okay, okay, I'm jealous.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
I love that you have a little library area. I'm
jealous of that. How cute. Okay, see Maya has three.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Kevin is zero. Good for you believe that.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
This man lives his life in his house and doesn't
know where to go.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
Ever, Yeah, you're missing out.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
You need a.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Spot, I mean my spot.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
My spot would be like cleaning, like I washed the
dishes and I do the laundry like, so one of
those two spots.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
N Maya.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Thank you for calling in this morning. We hope you
have a great day.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
By love play in Nashville. How old are you? I
am a weapon?

Speaker 2 (14:43):
And do you have a spot at home? Do you
have a spot that's all yours?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I do.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
I have a home tile woomb.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Okay, your bedroom is your spot, that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
No, not my bedroom.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
We have an extra whale and we call it the
bonus womb.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
And that's where nobody did to go. Oh God, does
nobody dare to go? Because that's where you like to be.
And everybody knows that's Clay's spot.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yep, Clay.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
How messy is that bonus room?

Speaker 6 (15:10):
I actually clean it or not?

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I'm impressed.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
I also love that everybody knows that is Clay's spot
and nobody else is allowed in there.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Good for you, Thanks for calling, buddy, have a great
day you too, Bye bye. Even Clay has a whole room.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I want to be Clay when I grow up. I
want my own room and my one spot. That nobody
else can go into.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
So you and Agent both have your own spots on
the couch, like if you guys are watching something.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Yes, we have our own spots on the couch. We
have our own dinner spots, like where we sit at
the table. But the couch one is especially funny because
you can tell where aj sits and where I sit
because he sits kind of like a gargoyle, Like he
sits with like his legs up and like curled in.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
A ball like age. I can see that.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
So like he sits in these crazy positions, that part
of the couch dips, okay, because of the way that
he sits in the couch. My part does it because
of the way that I sit, like a normal human being.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
But I would also think maybe your spot would be
covered in like crumbs and stuff and his would be
a little cleaner.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
That is a rude assumption.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Rude somebody your own admission. You're the bessy one.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
I am the messy one. But he actually has more
crumbs because he's messier when he eats.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Six seven nine have a spot we want to hear about.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
One O seven five the river, Nicky, Zach and Mano
in the morning, one.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
O seven five the River.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I've been learning a lot this morning about people having
their own personal spot at home.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Apparently everybody's got their own spot on.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
It's a normal thing.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I'm I'm not normal.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
We've established that before Katie and trenton Good morning, Welcome
to the River.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
What is your spot?

Speaker 7 (16:43):
So I have to, you know, like everybody else want,
of course, is the dining or at a dinner table.
We all have our sign spots, and then one in
the living room, which is kind of funny. We have
a Victorian home, so we have like older Victorian like furniture,
and I have that trouble. So I really wanted a

(17:03):
reclining chair, you know. He's like, no, absolutely not, it's not.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Gonna fit with our style.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
So I'm like, I don't care, I'm gonna buy it.
So I bought it. But the funny thing is I
catch him all the time in it. Oh no, no, no,
we don't need that, And I'm like, and I you know,
you can walk into the room and you hear the
recliner go down and it quickly gets up to move

(17:29):
to the couch.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
I do appreciate the fact that at least he knows
that when you come home, that's your spot.

Speaker 6 (17:37):
I literally paid for it, so yeah, but it's so funny.
He was so adamantly against it, and he's the one
sitting in it, probably more than I. Yes, he is.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Yeah, absolutely, It's funny how that works, Katie.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
Yeah, yeahll have a happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
I love I do.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
I'm just making admissions here, Ricky, So I hope that
you don't jump on me too hard. But I think
at home, I eat the majority of my food standing up.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
I am so concerned about the way that your brain
is wired. Kevin, What do you mean do you all
not like sit down at the dinner table? Ever?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
We have like a dinner table over here that we
don't really sit at that often, But then we have
like barstools on the island, and the kids will sit
there and eat, and I will stand across from them,
you know, like we're together.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
We're doing it just you know.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Yeah, Okay, I guess that's just like busy dad life.
You also don't know how to sit more than three seconds,
so I guess that makes.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Sense exactly what I was gonna say. I hate sitting down,
so yeah, my spot is just standing up.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
I'm so concerned about it.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
We've had Dolly with tickets all week with the Game
of the Day, and it's just about that time.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
We were playing next right here on the River.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Kevin's standing in the corner of.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Ricky, Zach and Menow in the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
It's Kevin Manow's Game of the Day on one O
seven five the River, presented by Genesis Diamonds. We're playing
the Google Olympics. This is the last day of the
Google Olympics.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
For Dollywood tickets, you have to google these questions, these answers.
If you can do it quicker than your opponent, you
get the tickets. First, let's say good morning to Ashley
and Dixon.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Hi, Ashley, good morning. Do you feel confident with your
googling skills?

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Do?

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Okay? Good? You're not driving or anything.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
I've pulled into a parking lot.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
We're all saying great. Perfect.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
You'll be competing against Tamble in Nashville. Hi, Tamble. Hey,
I gotta say, that's a really cool name. Tamble. Is
it like, really your first name or do you go
by your last name or what?

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Oh, it's my.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Middle name, but my first name is Elmer and I
grew up in the Bugs Bunny Era. So I'm one
of four Elmer Tampbell.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Oh so it's a family name. Yeah, okay, Tamble's.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Really cool though, Tamba's I mean, so is Elmer.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
I was gonna say no beef against Helmer, no beef
against Elmer, but Tamble's a.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Really cool Let's start playing the game before we dig
ourselves in deeper.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Here.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Your name's are your buzzer's all right? So Ashley, if
you know the answer first, you shout out Ashley. That's
how you buzz in. Tamble, you shout out Tampbell, or
we'll take.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Elmer as well. Here we go. The Google Olympics start
right now. Since we are playing.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
For tickets to Dollywood, I figured I should ask you
guys a question about the Queen Dolly parton.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
What is her middle name?

Speaker 1 (20:22):
That was when the.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Google Campbell Rebecca?

Speaker 3 (20:26):
That's correct?

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Wow, Okay, that was quick.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Tamble, Ashley, how how close to having that answer.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Are you about? Seconds away?

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Okay? You both have fast internet speeds this morning. Here
we go. Question two. Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
What US president declared it to be a national holiday.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Something's happening in the background there.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Oh, Ashley, Ashley, Abraham Lincoln, that's right, eighteen six.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
All right, we're tied. Ooh, I love it. We're in
a tie every single day.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
It's gone to a tie.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
But I love that.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Yeah, it's it's forced. The third question, here we go.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
The singer Lord is celebrating a birthday today, November seventh.
Happy birthday, Lord. She is twenty nine years old. How
do you write the number twenty nine in Roman numerals?

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Ricky looks like she don't know that. Oh, oh, I
heard Tamble. I heard Tamble eg x X.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Congrats Tampble, you won, Ashley. I'm so sorry, but thank
you for playing, and we appreciate your sportsmanship, your good sportsmanship.

Speaker 6 (21:41):
Thank you, guys.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
Congratulations Campbell, Hey, thank you.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Bye bye, thanks for being here. Tamble, you did.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
In your name. I was gonna say, honestly, I did
know that right off the bat.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
You didn't you knew X X one X or I
X whatever I X.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Yes, why clearly you did it.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Kevin, congrats Campbell. You're going to Dollywood?

Speaker 1 (22:04):
All right? Well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Three things you need to know past eight o'clock here
on this Friday, Happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Thank you, for starting with US Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
United Airlines is going to refund flyers who are no
longer wont to fly due to flight restrictions. So this
is the first airline to respond this way to the
issues caused by the government shutdown. As far as I know,
they will refund customers who don't want to fly because
of these federal flight restrictions that are happening due to
Air Traffic Controller staffing issues. CEO Scott Kirby said any

(22:35):
customer is eligible for a refund, even if their flight
isn't directly impacted. The offer includes non refundable and basic
economy tickets, So this is basically saying, this isn't like, oh,
if your flight got messed up because of these restrictions
and because of the fact that ten percent of flights
in the US airspace are cut starting this morning, has

(22:56):
nothing to do with that. It's just if you have
something booked and you know hunger want to book and
deal with that, you can cancel your flight and.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Get a refined and it's very generous.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Amazingly generous. I was shocked. I literally had to read
it five different times because I was like, there's no way.
I've never heard of an airline doing this. The plan
was announced yesterday and airlines were given thirty six hours
to reduce flights. It's all insane right now. So with
the holidays coming up, I think this is really amazing.
If you are flying United Airlines, keep this in mind.

(23:26):
Hopefully other airlines follow suit, because obviously this is something
beyond any of our control. We're not the government. We
can't do anything about it. So the fact that they
are willing to at least help people out right now,
especially during the holidays, I think is really special. FX's
Adults will have a second season. I'm so pumped about this.
I don't know if you watched the first season. It's fantastic.

(23:49):
The cast made an announcement on social media by using
the what's up be'son the Trap trend that's happening right now,
but season two will stream on Hulu. It looks like
the whole original cast is going to be part of it.
No whord on the plot or when the second season
will air just yet, but we know it's happening. Okay.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
We got to circle back to that bees in the
Trap thing too, because this is all a foreign language
to me.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
You don't know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
No, no, no, we'll come back to that, okay.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Opry Entertainment Group will take over as send Amphitheater operations
under a new ten year deal. So this deal includes
twelve million dollars in upgrades and greenway improvements. The first
round of improvements are set to begin in January. As
part of the extended naming rights, the venue will now
be known as a Send Federal Credit Union Amphitheater. Just

(24:33):
so everybody knows what a name yep, it is. Everybody
always has the longest name. I'm rick Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
One O, seven to five of the River, Ricky, Zach
and Mano win the Mortgs.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Time for the leftovers.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
I've got my stopwatch open here, So Ricky's got thirty
seconds to present an unused topic from this past week.
I will go after Ricky h and again. Ricky, this
is stressful jobs. That's yours today.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
I'm going to tell you the most stressful jobs.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Of twenty twenty three. Two one go so.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
According to a news study by the Leader Institute, America's
most stressful jobs in twenty twenty five, Number one has
a stress score of ninety one out of one hundred.
I'm not going to tell you what that is just yet,
but number three is Hoist and Winch Operators with an
eighty seven point five out of one hundred on the
stress level score. Service Unit Operators, Oil and Gas is

(25:22):
number two with eighty eight point sixty five out of
one hundred. Number one is flight attendance with a ninety
one point one two out of one hundred. Jet Lag,
irregular hours, unruly passengers, serious safety responsibilities are all reasons
why they're number one on the list. And then on
top of that, they face long term health risks like

(25:44):
radiation exposure and disrupted sleep that can take a serious
toll on them. Wow, and this isn't even including what's
going on right now with all the flights and all
of that stuff happening. So I'm sure that this is
even skyrocketing more with their stress score probably going to
one hundred.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
And I gotta say, says a passenger, they do a
good job of putting on a happy face.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
For the most part.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
They all seem like they're loving life. They're happy to
be there.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
You can see if you fly a lot, I think
you noticed that like ninety six percent of them are happy.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah, yeah, sure, there's always those a.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Few because also you have a bad day. Everybody does.
That's just the way it works. But yeah, that they
are the ones that are the most stressed, and it
totally makes sense. All right, Kevin, are you ready to
do yours?

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Now?

Speaker 1 (26:24):
I am.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'm requesting a music change here from my left Joe versus.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
I guess it's Christmas related?

Speaker 1 (26:30):
All right?

Speaker 4 (26:30):
You want me to do the stop Watch or are
you gonna do it?

Speaker 3 (26:33):
It's all right if I go a little along, that's okay.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
You want to go starting your time?

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Okay, mine today.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
The surprising health benefits of early holiday decorating. Our Christmas
trees already up at home, all of our decorations are
I know it's a little embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
But we love it.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Number one, it can boost mood and reduce stress. We
just talked about all those stressful jobs. Maybe they just
need to decorate for Christmas. Number two, it enhances social
interactions and connection. You know, you put up some stuff
out side, neighbors, stop by, start chatting.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
It's a social thing.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Number Three, it gets you moving, so it's not just
a mental boost, a physical one as well. You're up,
you're moving around, you're decorating, you're exercising, and lastly here
on the list.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
It gets you thinking.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Decorating is good for your brain. It's an expression of
creativity making. Maybe you're making some homemade decorations with the kids.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
It's good for the brain, it's good for the body,
it's good for the soul. Merry Christmas, everybody.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
You went over thirty seconds and that was my Christmas
gift to you.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Yeah, you're very welcome. That's my celebration of Christmas this early.
It's November seventh, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Merry Christmas.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
No, not Merry Christmas. We have Thanksgiving, we have time
in between. It is not Christmas yet.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Can you say happy Holidays?

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
But it's the holidays. We're in between Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Absolutely not. It is not happy Holidays until after Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Happy Holidays.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
I hate you

Speaker 1 (27:54):
One O seven, Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
