Speaker 10 (03:48):
Honestly, that's one of my favorite things to do when
it's pretty I was just roll down the windows, open
the center if and drive around.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
And I like to live like a tour sometimes, like
if we have people in town. Go do things that

You don't do have.

the rain coming Saturday or Sunday?

Speaker 7 (04:10):
Do we know Sunday?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Well, yeah, it was gonna be Saturday a little bit,
but now it seems like it's mostly Sunday.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Lots of stuff going on this weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Nashville's always filled with so many different activities to do
during the week. During the weekend, Zach combs through all
the fun stuff and tells you exactly what you should do.
So go ahead, Zach, tell us what's going on this weekend.

Speaker 10 (04:30):
So this weekend is the opening weekend for Nashville Sounds
baseball is back. They've got games today, Tomorrow, and Sunday
against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
That always just makes me laugh.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
I love the name.

Speaker 10 (04:43):
So if you want to go to a Sounds game,
they're playing today, Tomorrow, and Sunday. I thought of Ricky's
fiance aj when I saw this because I feel like
it's something that he would love to do, and I
actually was like, I want to go. Saturday, at Gardens
of Babylon, they're doing this thing called Veggie Gardening where
you can learn how to turn your backyard into a
sustainable growing space with the help of local plant experts.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
That's pretty cool and that's very agent.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It's a very agent and I'm sure that he's literally
marking down on his calendar that this is happening.

Speaker 10 (05:13):
It's only twenty bucks at Gardens of Babylon from eleven
to twelve thirty.

Speaker 7 (05:16):
You can go, and I think it's just really really cool.
I love it.

Speaker 10 (05:19):
Also tomorrow there's a Middle Tennessee Alzheimer's Walk which is
happening at Harlansdelle Farm in Franklin, So you can join
Middle Tennessee for their Alzheimer's Walk this weekend. You can
register online or the day of the event, but it
is tomorrow morning at nine am. Also in Sumner County,
tomorrow they're doing the fourth annual Community Cleanup, So you

(05:41):
whether you live in Hendersonville, Gallatin, Portland, white House, Westmoreland,
wherever it is in Sumner County, they're doing the fourth
annual community cleanup. It starts at eight am, and you
can look up at your local place where to meet.
But yeah, if you're in Sumner County, go help clean
your community.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I was gonna say so it's just a bunch of
people gathering together to help clean up.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
That's amazing volunteer opportunity.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Get all the trash off the streets because obviously people
are so.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Bad, insane, idow so mad when I see somebody actually
throw something out their window, and I always like my
and my instinct is to honk or go do but
then you never know how crazy somebody is and what
they're gonna do.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
Be literate, no, please, don't scares me.

Speaker 10 (06:22):
Last one, which I feel like I also want to
go to is Saturday at Plaza Mariachi.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
They're doing their Latino Food Fest.

Speaker 10 (06:29):
So they're going to have an outdoor festival that all
host over fifteen different food vendors, live music, and entertainment
for the kiddos.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
And it's a completely free event. But you just go
and they have like fifteen different.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Speaker 10 (06:42):
Well, it's tomorrow at Plaza Mariachi from eleven to eight.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
She's not lying. She's truly as.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Here we go Happy Friday, just after seven o'clock. Riek,
He's got those three things.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Kasha has announced a new album titled Period. It's going
to be her sixth studio album. It's set to release
July fourth. It's a big one for her. I'm really
beyond excited about this. She said recently in an interview
that this is quote the first time that I have
no one's claws in my back when it comes to
creating music, which is really amazing. She released a song

(07:17):
with T Pain yesterday called.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Which song Obsessed Obsessed with this. We are so back.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
It's just so fun and it's gonna be like so
great for summer, just like windows down just blasting this song.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Here's a clip of it.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
On Pain So Fine.

Speaker 7 (07:59):
It's so fun.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I listened to it this morning on my way into work.
I can't get enough of it. I'm so excited for
her and for T Pain.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
It really is just such a fun song.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Centennial Park is going to host Earth Day their celebration.
It's gonna return to Centennial Park, Banshell on Saturday, April
nineteenth from eleven am to five pm.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
This is a free event.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
They got live music, local food vendors, kid activities, an
EVCR show, and a bunch more. They're gonna have their
very popular Earth Talks tent supported by ted X Nashville.
That's also going to be there with a lineup of
local experts speaking on a variety of different environmental issues
like composting, gardening.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Recycling more.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
You can see the full speaker and topic list available
on their website earthday dot org. It is genuinely a
lot of fun. I went last year two years ago
with my fiance. It's like his favorite day of the year.
It's so just aja because he very much appreciates, you know,
composting and taking care of the Earth and how important
it is to celebrate things like Earth.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
We should all be a little more like a j
and I will be there.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
On Saturday, April nineteenth. If you see me, make sure
you say hi.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
And McDonald's has new meals inspired by a Minecraft movie,
so they got little pixelated grimaces and Hamburglar toys with it.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
It's exactly I.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Have to take my son McDonald's.

Speaker 7 (09:19):
No, it's pretty cute.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
So there's a meal and a happy meal that are
both going to be available starting next Tuesday, April.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
First meal comes with a big mac or ten piece
chicken nuggets. Obviously. The happy meal you can get with
a little figurine.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
Like I just said.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
They have like little pixelated pieces, which makes sense because
it's for a Minecraft movie. The big game changer here though,
is their Nether Flame sauce, which takes inspiration from the
Nether which is kind of like a hell.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Like universe in Minecraft.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
So super spicy red pepper, cayenne and garlic is inside
this sauce, but it sounds bomb. I'my Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Thank you so much, Ricky. Let's play Sailors on from
GG Perez. Right after this, Zach is standing by with
a fact. We're all gonna get smarter together. Next with
Zach'spax on the River seven five.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
The River, Heiky the Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
GG Perez on one O seven five the River. Gather around, friends,
It's time for Zach's facts.

Speaker 10 (10:17):
Heads up, April fools Day is coming up on Tuesday,
so don't fall for anything on Tuesday.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
But I have a little fact about April Fool's day.

Speaker 10 (10:24):
In different countries, they have different time frames for it,
So in Canada, Australia and UK, the pranks have to
be completed by noon. In Scotland it's a two day festival.
You can prank people for two days for April Fools.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Oh, I go to Scotland.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
I hate April Fool's Day.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Oh, don't be a baby whatever, But there's your.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Fact of the day.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Do you guys remember last year my daughter she tried
to like die my wife's hair purple.

Speaker 7 (10:48):
Yeah, stop her.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
From melting purple crans and putting him in Alley's shampoo.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Five the River, Heiky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Zach asked us this question yesterday and it started a
whole conversation here in the one O seven five the
River studio. He said, if you're seeing someone and they
give you a toothbrush to keep at their house, does
this mean that you're exclusive?

Speaker 4 (11:11):
One thousand.

Speaker 10 (11:12):
I saw it on somebody's Instagram and they were doing
an Instagram poll, and I agree with Kevin. I'm like yeah,
but there were so many people that were like, no,
that does not mean you're excluded.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
That's how ricky you feel.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Don't think that that means that you're exclusive at all.
I think it just means that they don't want your
breath to smell.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
That's a toothbrush is a big commitment.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I don't feel like it's that big of a deal.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
I have toothbrushes at my apartment just in case anybody
needs them.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Yeah, but it's not specifically for okay six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
We want your opinion on this. Is a toothbrush a
sign of a committed relationship.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
If you're seeing someone and you have your own toothbrush
at their place, are you guys exclusive?

Speaker 11 (11:49):
No?

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Ice six seven We're getting into it next other.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
River seven five, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, Hendersonville.
If you're seeing someone and they give you a toothbrush
to keep at their house, does this mean that you
are exclusive?

Speaker 11 (12:06):
Okay? So I feel very in the middle on this.
I think it's like moving towards commitment, But it doesn't
necessarily mean that you're exclusive because there will be girls
coming Like stay, it's a guy's house coming over, a
girl lives there and use all of her makeup and
skin care product and toothbrush, So it's like it's a

(12:30):
move towards commitment, but it doesn't mean exclusivity.

Speaker 10 (12:34):
I feel like it means you're exclusive unless like the
guy is a complete trash bag and hides your toothbrush
whenever he has other people over.

Speaker 11 (12:42):
There are men out there like that.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
I mean, this could go either way.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
The trash bag, I mean, you know, it could be
a guy's toothbrush at a woman's place as well.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
I just don't think that the toothbrush signifies anything. It's
just a toothbrush. It's literally there so that you have
good dental hygienes.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
But if you're spending that much time there, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I guess it's just staying at someone's house every so often.
Wanting to have clean breath doesn't mean that you actually
want to date that.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
So, Ricky, if you were single, would you have toothbrushes
all over town.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Life?

Speaker 11 (13:13):
Yeah, you would have fresh breath, brush fresh breath.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
The toothbrush is a big sign of commitment. I think
that's just it's a big one.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I just I disagree. I'm with Nicole.

Speaker 11 (13:24):
You also come from a different like not that you're
much older than different dating style.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
You know, I'm forty one, to call how old? How
old are you?

Speaker 7 (13:38):
And Cale?

Speaker 11 (13:38):
Twenty eight?

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Okay, come from a different time. Okay, Yeah, thanks for colling.
We appreciate you.

Speaker 11 (13:45):
Nicole, Yeah, I appreciate your Happy Friday by love.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
I keep a different para suspenders and everyone all across Nashville.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Well, once you say twenty eight, you do cover from
a different time.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Sorry, God, I hate that so much. Sink one five
seven nine one o seven?

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Whose side are you?

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Ricky zachon Man in the morning on.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Cammy and Nashville, What do you think about this?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
If you're seeing someone they give you a toothbrush to
keep it at their house, does this mean that you're exclusive? No,
thank you, Cammy.

Speaker 9 (14:22):
If they gave you a key, that's a different thing,
but not a toothbrush.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
See, I'm with you. A key is pretty legit.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Then that means that you're allowed to go in that
person's house even if they're not there, which means they're
not running around with other people.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
So, Cammy, if you were let's say, seeing a guy,
and you went over there and there was a toothbrush
for you, but then there was also a toothbrush.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
For Sarah and Nicole and Don and Debbie, this wouldn't
bother you.

Speaker 9 (14:50):
Oh my god, all labels for a labeled toothbrush and
putting on their bathroom counter. Weird?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Did you imagine that? Actually, then I think you run
because he might be a serial killer. Watch his label exactly.

Speaker 10 (15:10):
I feel like if I was single and I was
dating then, like in some person was like, hey, just
keep your toothbrush here, I would be like, oh, we're exclusive,
we're together together.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
You both were clearly stage five clingers, Zach and Kevin.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
If that means a committed relationship.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Clings, absolutely, I don't think so. I've never taken it slowly.

Speaker 9 (15:33):
From different errors, right, how old are you, Cammy? Thirty one?

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Thirty one? Okay, you guys, I'm not from the Great Depression. Everybody, Okay,
thank you, Cammy, appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
I'm literally crying.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Different Eras.

Speaker 7 (15:55):
Not from the Great Depression, Kevins literally no.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Well, hey, there are some kids. They're known as the
Jonas Brothers. They're coming to town. We have tickets for you.
With the Game of the Day. You can win them.

Speaker 7 (16:08):
Next Life Era of Kevin.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
It's our last time playing the sibling game for Kevin
Manno's Game of the Day on one oh seven five
of the River because it's your last chance to win
these Jonas Brothers tickets. They're a bridge Jone Arena, October fourteenth.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
It's been a good game. It's the first time we
played it.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
I've enjoyed this game. I'm happy to hear you, Ricky
say that you like it as well.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
And don't compliment you very often on your games, but
this is a good one or on anything.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Today.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Our contestants are Haley and Bethany. Good morning, Haley in Summertown.

Speaker 4 (16:39):

Speaker 3 (18:16):

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Though?

Speaker 1 (18:18):
It was.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
All right? Here we go last one, Holland.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Chet, that's the end, Haley.

Speaker 2 (18:30):

Speaker 9 (18:31):

Speaker 4 (18:35):
No, no, no, any idea, Bethany.

Speaker 11 (18:38):
The Hanks family.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Game.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
So sorry, Haley, that was so close. I hear your frustration.
Wait now I'm very confused. So, Bethany, there.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Being a great sportsmanlike situation here.

Speaker 2 (19:00):

Have a great weekend.

Thanks all right, congrats Bethany, though that was.

Nice job, thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Just past eight o'clock on this Friday morning. Happy Friday.
What a beautiful day it's gonna be. Ricky Santez has
those three things.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Only Murders in the Building adds another exciting actress to
the cast with Renee Zellweger. We don't know any details
about our character yet, but season five is already in
production with an aim of a release by the end
of the year.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
I cannot wait.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Christoph Waltz and Keegan michael Key were also added as
new characters to this season, so.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
We're just gonna have to wait and see exactly how
this is gonna play out. I can't wait. I'll keep
you updated on when that will release.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Baby Chan is the latest concept from the husband and
wife duo behind James Beard nominated Kisser restaurant. Baby Chan
is going to open this as a Japanese influence bakery
and cafe, so they'll have grab and go pastries and coffee,
as well as a menu with items like sandwiches, rotating
ice creams, and French toast made with Japanese milk bread.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Wow, sounds amazing.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I don't even know what that is, but I'm in.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
I definitely can't eat it, but it sounds so good.
The gluten, the gluten will get me every time. But
it sounds amazing. So you should go check it out
for me. Eat it, let me know how it is.
And a record number of parents are financially supporting their
adult children.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Half of parents with.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Kids over the age of eighteen help them with at
least some financial support. According to the new research from
savings dot com, parents are chipping in for things like
health and car insurance, cell phones, and even rent sometimes
for their adult children. These parents are paying an average
of one four hundred and seventy four dollars a month
for these expenses, which are at a three year high.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Oh man, nobody can afford anything.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I will say.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
My dad still pays for my cell phone?

Speaker 4 (20:56):
Does he?

Speaker 3 (20:57):
I don't know if he knows that, but he does.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I'm Sanchez and those are the three things.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
You need to know.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
Ricky, Zach and men.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
The river, our resident liar. Ricky is going to help
you live, is going to help you get a job.
If you're looking for a job. These are tips from
an expert, a career expert, things that you should be
lying about in a job interview.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
These are the four lies that you should say in
an interview. So if your reason for leaving your last
role was negative, they said, to not share that lie
about it. Keep it positive, keep it professional, keep it progressive,
is what this person had said.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
The expertarin, I agree completely.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Don't say a negative anything.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
The other one is how many offers or interview processes
you're in. You don't want them to think this is
the only interview that you're having. It gives an air
of desperation. So make sure that you, you know, are saying, oh,
I have a few other options that I'm kind of exploring.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Make them want you.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
More sexy indifference.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
I like it.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Also, they said to about major travel plans, so it
says sharing your travel plans from the get go gives
this feeling that you're only getting the job to pay
for things like that. She says to you, she says,
to straight up just not let them know of any
travel plans that you have, even if they are like immediate.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
That that seems a little sketch to me.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
Well, I don't know, get the job. Then tell them, hey,
I'm going to Cuba.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Yeah, hey sorry, have this already planned. And then the
fourth lie is any plans that you have to set
up your own business. So if you have any side
hustles or anything like that, do not talk about them
in your interview. Yea, even if they try to bait you.
You know, if they ask you what do you like
to do for fun?

Speaker 7 (22:41):
You like to read and hike.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Yes, you don't have a side husk.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
Do you want to make that job your priority?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
That you want to make sure that you have a
lot of motivation for that job. You want to progress
in that job. You want to make that your priority.
Like Kevin said, do not tell them if you have
a side business.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Here would be my additional lie to tell interviews.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Even though I lie, you're a pair, tell us you're lie, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Pick, I mean, it's gonna work for any number of
stores that have unfortunately gone out of business. Let's say
forever twenty one, they're in the news because they're they're
shutting down.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Uh, they're going out of business. So you now on
your resume you're a manager forever twenty months. Who are
they gonna call. Who are they gonna call?

Speaker 3 (23:18):
That's so messed up, but I kind of like it
as the resident liar. I love it.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
The same page Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Time for the daily double Tap. It's about our friend
ed cheering.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Yes, this is a really cool moment.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
So he's only saying this unreleased song one other time
before at Bluebird Cafe here in Nashville. But then he
decided to sing a bit of it for Jimmy Fallon
while he was on his show.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
So here's the clip.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
I found my phone today in the box that I
had hid away, nostalgic.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
Trying to lead me astray.

Speaker 6 (23:58):
Maybe I charged their abouttery again combinations because my pastcorde
had changed, opened up and suffered.

Speaker 8 (24:12):
Million names now a one.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
Whoever, they've gone.

Speaker 8 (24:19):
Conversations with my dad, friends, messages from all my access
I kind of think that this first best left.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
They're in the past.

Speaker 7 (24:32):
Where it belongs.

Speaker 8 (24:36):
I feeling overwhelming sadness of all the friends I do
not have left, seeing I'm a.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
Family has fractured, growing up.

Speaker 9 (24:49):
And moving a.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Soured.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
I found my own phone.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
To very sad, very emotional man that got me there.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
It's shared, Yeah, he's very optional guy, but he's mostly
talking about I'm sure you know this, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
But he got rid of his phone years and years
and years ago.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
He stopped using his phone because he felt like he
was just too accessible for everyone to reach out to him,
and he was he was going through.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
A really bad mental health moment because it was just
always like he.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Had to be on.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
So he got rid of his phone.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
And he has had some friends die pass away within
the last yeah, you know, five years or so seven.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
So he opened up this old phone and it brought
back just all of these thoughts and feelings and everything.
So he wrote a song about it, and it's a
beautiful song, very emotional, beautiful song.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Okay, that's today's dayly double tap. That was a good find, Ricky,
thank you for bringing that. We're gonna put it up
on our Instagram stories at one oh seven five The
River on Instagram. And we are getting that new album
from match here and it's called Play. We're getting that
very very soon. We're excited to have new music from
him again.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
Here in a bit one seven five The River
