Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know, all right, just say
after six o'clock on this Wednesday morning, man, that sun
came up early.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It was throwing me off.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Driving in me so happy though you don't know the
joy I felt.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I come double checking the time, like am I running late?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
What is happening is very sunny out anyway, Good morning,
thanks for being here.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
The FDA has warned of fake ozempic found in the
US supply chain, So this is a huge deal.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
You got to make sure if you are taking ozepic
for whatever reason, that you are not taking anything that's fake.
The Food and Drug Administration is urging patients and doctors
to check their ozepic prescriptions after they found several hundred
units of fake versions of the same makers who make
ozempic and we go v.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
They said that it was.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Reported to the FDN April third that a counterfeit one
milligram injections were being distributed in the US supply chain
labeled with lot numbers PAR three six two. So please
just check with your doctors make sure that everything is safe.
Ellen Pompei is making quite the noise online because she
(01:04):
said that she is never leaving Grey's Anatomy for a
very specific reason. So she doesn't think it's fair for
others to make money off of all of her hard work.
And it seems like she doesn't want to let people
down either. So that's the one part that no one's
really talking about. Everyone's really focused on the fact that
she was in an interview and she said, quote, if
I were to walk away completely, everybody gets to make
(01:25):
money off the hard work that I've done for twenty years.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
And I wouldn't make any money.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
To me, it doesn't make any sense that everybody else
gets to profit off of my hard work. That's the
one everyone's focused on because they think she sounds entitled there.
I think the woman's been the face of Grey's Anatomy
for decades, and I get what she says.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
I don't think she's mad at any of her co
stars or anything. I think she just wishes she owned
a piece of the show.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
That makes sense.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
She is the face of it, so like I understand
that she did follow it up with a level of gratitude,
and she said that she doesn't want to let anybody
down by saying quote, emotionally, the show means.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
A lot to people, which is very true.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's been around for so long, it's like a comfort
show for a lot of people. I think she's just
getting a bad, bad look right now, and people are
set with her for the fact that she's happy and
proud of what she's created, but doesn't own Eddie.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
I hate when people, when things are technology contact, a
piece of an interview, a piece of a conversation is
taken and just boiled down to one sentence.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
We did hear your whole story about the one thing
that take it out of gum On all the time.
Go back and listen to Ricky Zachamanno in the morning
our podcast and you will hear that from last week.
The annual Main Street Festival is going to return to
downtown Franklin. It's happening Saturday, April twenty sixth and Sunday,
April twenty seventh to celebrate the arts and culture of
(02:38):
Williamson County.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
The vessel is gonna.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Have over one hundred and fifty art and craft vendors.
There's gonna be food and beverages from local favorites, live music,
and performances.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
One of the cool things about this too, is that.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
You get to be part of like art installations, so
you can create things with your neighbors and the people
that live in the community with you, which is really
really cool. So, like I said, happening April twenty six
and twenty seventh, I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Thank you, Ricky. Let's get back into the music with
Justin Bieber. Shaboozy and Miles Smith are both on the way,
and don't forget my most of festival passes on the
way ten minutes. You can win those first caller of
the day, they are yours on the river.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Second in the morning, thoroughly.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
In Mountain Juliet. Good morning, we are halfway through the week.
Welcome to one O seven five of the River.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
How you feeling I am feeling how about you?
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I'm feeling great. The sun was shining as I was
driving into work. My sinuses have been bothered.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I don't want to say we're feeling too good. We're
all three complaining of our allergies in here, but.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I kind of feel like that's just part of life now, right, Yes, exactly.
Speaker 7 (03:40):
Lee, did you take your allergy pill this morning?
Speaker 5 (03:42):
I absolutely did.
Speaker 8 (03:44):
Is this that Yeah, Hi, Hi, how are you?
Speaker 5 (03:47):
I met you? It actually rand opening.
Speaker 7 (03:50):
Oh yeah, the Ashley Home Store.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Did you buy any ally?
Speaker 6 (03:55):
I worked there?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Oh? So you get an employee discount.
Speaker 7 (03:59):
Oh, I'm using and the next time her employee discount.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I don't think that's how it works.
Speaker 7 (04:04):
Yeah, when your friends you can use their employee discounts.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Also, Zach, exactly what do you need furniture for?
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Well, you never know.
Speaker 9 (04:11):
When you need a new mattress. You have to replace
it every eight years. I've had mine for five. We're
coming up. Yes see, Lee's all about it. She's gonna
let me use our discount and everything.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
You got it as long as Lee is okay with this,
considering you didn't actually ask Lee if you could, you
kind of told her. But anyways, as long as you're
good with it, then that's good.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
I am perfect.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Wow, that's very nice of you. Hey, you want to
go to Mamosa Festival.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Absolutely all right.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
You're the first caller of the day, so you are in.
You have a pair of passes. It's happening May nineteenth,
the Riverfront Park.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Congratulations, Lee, Thank you you too.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Love.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Hang on the line so we can get your info.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Okay, absolutely, her phone is a little choppy, but you know,
I don't want to bring it up to her because
there's not much you can do about it.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Thank you for letting us all know the thing that
we heard.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I just want everyone to know. Hope, it's not
your radio. It was Lee's phone.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
And Gussie Lee had Ashley homestore apparently.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, or walk into Annie Ashley, tell them you are
Lee and you work there, and you just go.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I'm sure that's how it works. More of those passes tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Your new companion to that morning copy, Ricky, Zach and
Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Did you ever decide on a font? The last we
left this, you were looking for funds.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
I yeah, I did something that I wanted but also
kind of for my mom. And now I'm kind of
thinking that she's gonna hate it.
Speaker 9 (05:30):
Oh, try to do a kind gesture for your mother
and she's not gonna be happy about it.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
I mean it was for me though, too, Like I
wanted to do this and I've been thinking about.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
It for a little while, okay, and then I was like, oh.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
And also like for my mom, I thought it was
very sweet. I didn't realize she was gonna hate it.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
I think she's gonna hate it.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Oh no, I'll explain, like what it is that I
did that Now I may end up recredit.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Right after this song, Ricky will tell the story on
the River.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Ricky zach And in the morning one seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Right before that song, Ricky said she did something for
herself but also for her mom.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Uh, and she thinks her mom might hate it. Yeah,
she's disappointing.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
So I I have a bunch of tattoos and I'm
in this phase where I'm just getting even more and
more because I want to do a full sleeve on
my left arm. And there is this one phrase that
my mom has always said to me my entire life, ever.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Since I was little.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
She still texts it to me sometimes, and I thought, oh,
I want to add that.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
To my arm sleeve.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
What is the phrase?
Speaker 4 (06:33):
It's so she.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Always would say to me when I was little, before
I went to bed, don't forget to meet me in
my dreams.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
That is so sweet.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
And we were we were sweet, kind of creepy, we
weren't really sweet.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Going over fond to options, so you can do this
just right. You finally decided on a.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Fond Yes, I finally decided on a fond and I
got it a little over a week ago. I got
it done at Curve Beauty.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Love them.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
If you ever want fine line tattoos, go to Curve
Beauty and I got it done. I haven't told my
mom yet that I got it done.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
What, because I'm not sure if she's gonna like it
or not.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
She's not huge on tattoos. So this is why I'm saying.
I got it for me because I wanted it. But
I also thought, like, oh, this is a sweet gesture.
Maybe my mom will stop hating tattoos.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Can we call her right now? Can we call her
live on the air?
Speaker 3 (07:17):
I don't know that she'll answer, honestly, I think we
should try. I don't think she's gonna answer.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
But only out.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
But I haven't showed her, and I kind of want
to not tell her anything about it and see if
she notices. I'm going home in July and I'm kind
of want to see if she notices that I have it.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
I'll be wearing shorter sleeves.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Scale one to ten. If you showed up with just
a new tattoo versus this tattoo, which is meaningful because
it's you know, a tribute to her.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Like what what would she be more upset about. She's
gonna she's gonna hate this less than just a random tattoo.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
That's kind of what I'm hoping, but I'm not one
hundred percent sure. Every time I show up with new tattoos,
it's always Ricky Morgan another one every single time.
Speaker 9 (07:56):
Okay, that's the thing though, I feel like you have
to tell her before July, Like you can't just let
it sit there and tell.
Speaker 7 (08:02):
July why, because you got to.
Speaker 9 (08:05):
Like slowly break her into the idea that you got
the tattoo in her honor.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
I feel like it's a shock factor of like, oh.
Speaker 9 (08:11):
My god, you got another one versus like, hey, I'm
thinking about going to get this one in honor of you,
even though you already have it.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
So you want me to lie to my mother? Absolutely,
she's gonna know I'm lying.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I think you should get more before you see her.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
So this is the thing.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
She's gonna hate my hand tattoos that I got because
I got finger tattoos done.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
She's gonna hate them. Yea, why the hands? Why did
you have to do that? I don't understand. So I
was kind of hoping that then I could be like,
but I got this one for you.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
This is what I was gonna say. Get more you want.
You said you want to get a sleeve.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Start filling up that arm so that you know she's
super disappointed. You can show her the one that's for
her and she'll be less disappointed.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
Well.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
See, I'm not feeling very confident in it at all,
And I think the closer we get to the time
that I'm gonna see her in person, I'm getting less
and less confident about the fact that she's gonna be
okay with it.
Speaker 9 (08:59):
I feel like, just you gotta rep the band aid off.
You gotta do it before you see her in person.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I guess, but I don't know if it has the
same effect. If I called her up and I'm like, hey,
I got a tattoo for you.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
I'd forget about the arm one. As a parent, I
think the hand one is what you have to worry about.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Know is gonna hate it.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
She's gonna hate it, and it's like right next to
my engagement ring, which she loves, and she's gonna be like,
now I can see or there's tattoos on your hands
and not the engagement ring.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Why would you want to ruin it?
Speaker 7 (09:26):
Like, why are you making her voice sound like that.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Doesn't sound like that in her life at all.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Best of.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Thanks, I'm getting more and more nervous.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Three things you need to know?
Speaker 1 (09:38):
All right, all right, seven o five on this Wednesday morning, Rick,
He's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
People think that Kesha's calling out Katy Perry on social media,
which she would be one of the slew of people
who are okay, stick with me here.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
After Katy Perry went into orbit on the space x.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Flight mini orbit.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
I mean it's still orbit.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Like we don't have to think it's cool or that
it's a good idea, but it's still orbit. So she
went into orbit with SpaceX Flight with five other women.
A lot of people have their thoughts on it, like
we just said, lots of thoughts, including Wendy's the fast
food chain. They had responded to a pop culture account
pop Crave that tweeted out saying Katy Perry has returned
(10:20):
from space. So when they came back down to Earth,
she was like, hey, it all worked out fine. To
read they returned to earth. Wendy's account responded, quote, can
we send her back, so now sorry. Now, Kesha has
posted a picture of her drinking a Wendy's Frosty on
her socials, which has everybody thinking that she's also calling
(10:44):
out Katy Perry, which would make sense considering that Katy
Perry has worked with doctor Luke, who is not a
good person. So this all is becoming quite the web
of drama and a lot of going on. But I
just personally love the idea of Wendy's going after people.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
It's so unexpected.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Wendy's, who makes our Frosty's, is going after Katie Perry
and asking if we could send her back to space.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
So this is all over the internet right now.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Obviously you can find a lot of it on Kesha's
Instagram and social media and also on Popcrave and Wendy's
TikTok has a new trend that I can fully get behind.
And I was already doing it without knowing that it
could be a trend. But a TikToker has made eating
frosting out of.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
A tube a trend.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
So this went viral last month for posting a video
of herself eating bright blue funfetti frosting. In the video,
she said it's like yogurt, but unhealthy, very unhealthy. Now
that clip has over eleven million views, and apparently funfetti
frosting is flying off the shelves.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Really everybody's going for it.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
I do want to say eating frosting is okay in moderation.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
I do it myself. I love frost.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
How often are you having a spoonful of frost?
Speaker 4 (12:08):
Not that often?
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yes, everybody deserves a little. Don't eat the full container,
obviously in one sitting. You don't need that much sugar
in your life. But eating it every so often not
a big deal. It also lasts a while, so you know,
just keep it in your in your cabinet and eat
it whenever you want. Now it's trendy to eat it.
Kevin's so upset about this. I'm so hyped about it.
Eat your frosting and the shelby bottoms. That Nature play
(12:33):
area has reopened with new features so after a five
month closure, they have new additions including a kid sized
beaver dam, tree, trunk ballance, balance beams, climbing logs.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
There's a new shade pavilion that's adjacent to the play area,
all new stuff. It looks great.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Go check it out, bring your kids, especially as it's
starting to get nicer out. The sun is shining right now.
I could see it outside. It's making me so happy.
So go check out Shelby Bottoms new Nature play Area.
I'm Rickie Sanchez and the are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Thank you, Ricky, And I didn't mean to shade you
about the frosting meal you want.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
I'm still gonna eat my frosting and happiness, pure sugar.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Let me have the little things that make me happy
in this life.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
You keep your frosting. Zack's Fax.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Next, right after Pink Pony Club, We're gonna learn something
together on the river.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
The river Picky Zach making his.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Way to microphone number three at Zach Wood word. It's
one O seven five the river, Time for Zax Fax.
Speaker 9 (13:26):
Did you guys know that seals can get seasick if
you put them on a boat. How apparently they rely
very much like humans on their ears for their inner balance,
and so if you put them on a boat, then
they can get seasick.
Speaker 7 (13:38):
They can like survive in water and on land, but
a boat will make them seasick.
Speaker 9 (13:42):
Really, I wonder if they can take dramamine.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Zach, your best seal impression. Go oh, I knew he
would do it.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Yeah, I knew too. It's actually not a bad.
Speaker 7 (13:53):
Impression, thank you. And that's your fact of the day.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
It'd be a lot of dramamine. They're heavy, they.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Are whoa, whoa, whoa. It's not body shaving of seals.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
My god, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
And I want to know what the craziest thing you
put on your wedding registry was that someone actually bought
for you.
Speaker 9 (14:13):
Oh, I feel like I would be a bridezilla and
definitely put so many expensive things you will just to
see if.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
You'll buy it.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yes you will.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven. Zak is
not to be trusted with the registry.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Well, Zach's not the only one, because I found this
on TikTok and some of the responses, Oh.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
We're wild guys. Okay, blow your mind.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
I want you to run those down for us.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
And yes, we'd like to hear from you if you
have an example six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine
seven the craziest thing you put on a registry that
somebody actually ended up buying, Let us know.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
We want to hear it's the river one seven five
the River.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Is it Laila or Lila Lila Lilah in Nashville on
the line.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
You want to talk about your mom which she had
on her wedding registry that she got as a gift.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
Yes, my mom got a blow dryer for her wedding.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
One hundred and fifty dollars blow dryer.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, I hope she still has it. That's an expensive
blow dryer.
Speaker 7 (15:09):
We get back, and.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
That's the way to nice job.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I don't you know you, guys, I never I only
have ever once in my life bought a blow dryer.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
How expensive is an expensive one? What's an average one?
Speaker 4 (15:22):
That's an expensive one?
Speaker 3 (15:23):
One hundred and fifty dollars is like an expensive blow
dryer I.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Buy my cheek. Yeah, oh okay, see I just looked
it up. There's some dice in.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Oh, don't get me started on the dice. And I
want it so bad.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
It's like four dollars. I want it so bad, Kevin, Okay,
put it on your registry. Thank you guys for calling.
Appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
Bye bye, guys.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Have a great day.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
There are a lot of other ones off of this
because I got this from a TikTok that I saw,
and the comments that people put on this were just genius.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
What did they get? What did they get?
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Like, truly genius.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
This person said, my husband added a hot dog roller
the ones that you see in gas stations, and someone
bought it. They bring it to all the barbecues and
it's a hit.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
That's like my dream come true.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
Another person said that their husband went scanner crazy and scanned.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
A tub of toothpaste, like a tube of toothpaste.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Everyone added it to their gifts, so they had toothpaste
for over a year.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Oh, very smart.
Speaker 9 (16:17):
That's a smart way to do it. Do all of
your household items, like you need paper, towels, toothpaste, all
of these things, and then you're just stocked up for
a year.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, one hundred percent, super genius. A lot of people
added different lego sets that like are expensive lego sets, okay,
and they ended up buying because they like to build
legos together as a couple.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
An outdoor pizza oven.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh yeah, are good.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
These are really good.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
A lot of the they're insane, they're insane. Some of
them are just like fun ones. A big coin dispenser
that goes on his hip and she said he uses
it in public.
Speaker 9 (16:53):
What do you think is going to be the most
expensive thing on your wedding registry, Ricky, I do.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Well now that I know that my options are endless.
I've never thought about, you know, thinking outside of the box.
Another person mentioned that they did a fund for their
student loan debt.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
And people went nuts.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
That's so I'm like, there are so many options of
things that I can do, and this is the thing.
We're kind of leaning towards elopement now. But if you
think I'm not going to send out something saying, hey,
we got married, here, donate to this.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
Fund, sure, I'm still doing that. I'm getting my money.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Heike Zach Morning, Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on
one O seven five of the River. It's a new
game that we're playing this week, all for Miles Smith,
because that's what you're playing the game for tickets to
go see him at the Rieman on September sixteenth, playing
Miles or Smith.

You too doing what a lovely person.
Speaker 5 (19:56):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Here we go, Ricky's got those three.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Billie Eilish was interviewed by her fellow celebrities her British Vogue.
People like Sabrina Carpenter, Chaperone, Ariana Grande and more all
asked her questions, where she revealed things like her favorite
gas station snack even though she doesn't make many trips
there anymore, she has an electric vehicle, and if her
and her brother Phineas can read each other's minds. It
was a really interesting read, but one of my favorite
(20:21):
questions came from Sizza, who asked her what her last
nightmare was about. Are you ready for this? I think
Zach's gonna enjoy this because he has crazy dreams. Yeah,
to get in here, she said, quote, Well, this wasn't
a nightmare, but I had a whole dream about this
burrito that I wanted so bad, and.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
I was at this taco truck and.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
I was waiting and waiting, and then they couldn't make them,
and then they couldn't remember which burrito was mine, and
this went on and on and on, and I never
got my burrito.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
It was so upsetting.
Speaker 7 (20:49):
That does sound like a nightmare, it does?
Speaker 2 (20:52):
It does?
Speaker 3 (20:52):
It sounds awful, just a little you know, peek into
Billie Eilish's mind right there.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
American Airlines is making Wi Fi free on most flights.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
This is huge and this is something that should just
be done everywhere. It's a new perk that's gonna cover
about ninety percent of its fleet. It's all sponsored by
AT and T and you need to be part of
their A Advantage Loyalty program in order to connect, which
is super easy to sign up for. Even regional jets
are getting upgraded with high speed Internet by the end
of this year. This is a huge upgrade because currently
(21:22):
it's about ten dollars per flight to get any Wi Fi,
and it can be even more depending on how long
your flight is.
Speaker 4 (21:28):
So this is huge.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
N WWE's SmackDown is coming back to Bridgetone Arena this summer,
writing Champ Cody Rhodes as well as Charlotte Flair, Randy
or in the Street, profits Bunch More. They're all gonna
be there July eleventh. Tickets go on sale next Friday,
April twenty fifth. If you are interested in buying them,
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
The River, Heiki Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
You want to talk about gifting for your family members.
We found out, Zach and I recently that Kevin still
buys his brother gifts for his birthday, which is adorable.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
How old is your brother?
Speaker 2 (22:04):
I just heard forty four?
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Okay, Zach and I don't buy our siblings gifts at
all anymore.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
No, my siblings, my parents, no one give age.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Where we're like, Nope, I get that. I don't consider
myself a good gift giver in general. My brother and
I do like to go back and forth with goofy
little gifts.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
But we're curious.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
We just started wondering how most people, as they get older,
how their gift giving evolves.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Yeah, do you still buy your siblings gives? You still
buy your parents gives? I don't buy my parents gifts anyone.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
I only do for a Christmas because you have to.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Yes, Chris, send your.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Mom flowers on her birthday or anything.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Nope, seven, I'm gonna start setting your mom flowers on
I birthday.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Let us know where you stand on the scale.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Kelly and Nashville, tell us, do you still gift your
siblings anything for their birthday.
Speaker 10 (22:55):
The good ones. Absolutely, they need to be celebrated. Everybody
should be celebrated on their birthday.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
How old are you now, Kelly to Are you going.
Speaker 10 (23:05):
To be thirty five tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
That's how many siblings do you have?
Speaker 8 (23:10):
You?
Speaker 10 (23:11):
Oh, Jerry Springer? I have three?
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Did you say, Jerry Springer?
Speaker 10 (23:15):
Let's not go there, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Okay, so you have three siblings. You still buy them
all gifts?
Speaker 8 (23:21):
Not all of them?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Oh the good one, good one?
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Sorry, the good ones. You still buy the good ones gifts.
Speaker 10 (23:26):
Yes, I do think it's important that people should be
celebrated on their birthday, good or bad. I'm kind of
being a bret. Yeah, I got to show a little love,
you know.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Are you expecting gifts from all of these siblings tomorrow?
Speaker 10 (23:37):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Not this call. You're really like a lot of ups
and downs here. You lead us out in one and
then the's twists and turns and yeah.
Speaker 10 (23:45):
I'm honest. I'll give honest. Hey, I knew I expect it.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
That's it.
Speaker 10 (23:50):
It's a love language, right. You don't always get it
back the way you give it.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Facts, that's very true.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
I love the honesty, and I think the ups and
downs is just the way that life is.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
Family can be very calm.
Speaker 10 (24:00):
I absolutely it is great though.
Speaker 8 (24:02):
Thank you guys again.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Happy birthday, big bye bye. Jasmine in Nashville, Good morning, Welcome.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
To the river.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Where are you here? Do you give gifts to your
family members?
Speaker 5 (24:13):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (24:14):
And if I don't, it's kind of frown upon.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Oh so you're kind of forced to give gifts that, Jasmine.
Speaker 6 (24:19):
No, not four, but I'm the youngest of four, and
we all attend all occasions with each other, and we
throw big birthday parties, and if you don't bring your gifts,
it's kind of like, Okay, well do you not love me?
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Ah?
Speaker 2 (24:34):
What we're saying.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
I would like to think that just being there, you know,
your presence is the present.
Speaker 8 (24:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
No, I'm actually kind of joking, but no, we all
are very loyal to each other and get you know,
it doesn't have to be anything big, you know, it
can be something small or just sentimental or whatever. Except
for my dad seems to think that he can send
all of my siblings and a list of very extensive
presents that he wants that's to buy. It's almost like
(25:01):
what pay for your life?
Speaker 8 (25:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Yes, so this is why I stopped buying gifts for
my family because they all have very expensive taste and
I'm freaking broke.
Speaker 6 (25:12):
Yeah, not me and my siblings. It's just this weird
say for my dad's now, like I think it's like, okay,
well I supported your lifestyle, so now here's my list
of things I want for birth my birthday, for Father's Day.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Like, as a dad, I get that. I'm looking forward
to doing that one day.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
I appreciate it to an extent, like I kind of understand.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
But still, all right, Jasmine, thank you for listening. Thank
you so much for calling.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
All right, thank you guys, have a good night, byllo a.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Good night listen. A little premature.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
How do you navigate that, then, Ricky, with your family
if you are, you know, the lowest income.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Earner, I just don't buy them anything.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
And I've literally flat out and told them, like listen,
I am broke. Yeah, And my mom never wants gifts.
She's always like, please don't buy me anything. I know
you don't have the money to don't do it. Everybody
else is like, so where's my gift?
Speaker 4 (26:00):
I mean, my dad's gotten over it.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
At the forty, too old to make them handmade gifts.
A little like make an astray to do that, and.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
I think they would all look at me like I
was insane, like.
Speaker 10 (26:11):
What is this?
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Thanks for being a part of our morning Ricky, Zach
and Meno in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
The River, Chris and Franklin, Welcome to the show.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
We're having a conversation about gift giving within a family.
Ricky and Zach thought it was funny that I was
sending my forty four year old brother a birthday gift.
Where do you stand here?
Speaker 8 (26:30):
Hey, I give gifts like they're going out of style.
I love gift giving. My sister is forty three years old,
and I get her a gift every year, as I
do my parents and my nieces and nephews, as well
as my wife and my kids too.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Whoa, oh, Chris, what a good is your forty three
year old sister single?
Speaker 8 (26:53):
She is, unfortunately for you not Why aren't.
Speaker 7 (26:56):
You hitting on his sister?
Speaker 5 (26:58):
Not for me?
Speaker 2 (26:58):
For my forty four year old brother.
Speaker 8 (27:00):
Oh oh, okay, now she's been she's been married for
quite a while, so definitely not single.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
And is it going well between them? Never have?
Speaker 8 (27:09):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (27:10):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
I think that's really sweet. I do have to ask,
do you have a good paying job.
Speaker 8 (27:16):
I mean I do well enough to buy gifts.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Okay, yeah, see that's well.
Speaker 7 (27:21):
I have good news for you, Chris.
Speaker 9 (27:23):
My birthday is coming up and I am wide open
to accepting gifts.
Speaker 8 (27:27):
Well, listen, all you have to do is shoot me
an email with an address and I can make that happen.
Speaker 7 (27:35):
You play with me.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
He's going to do that.
Speaker 8 (27:37):
Yeah, that's perfectly fine.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Let me ask you another question.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
When you're buying a gift for a sibling or something,
how much are you typically spending?
Speaker 8 (27:45):
I mean, I will say I love a good deal,
so I try to find something that appears expensive but
is on a budget. So maybe the twenty max forty
dollars range.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Smart, Chris, very smart.
Speaker 7 (28:01):
I can send you a couple of links.
Speaker 8 (28:03):
Okay, all right, we're.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Gonna put you on holds you and Zach and exchange
contact information. And if you wanna sneak your sister's number
in there too for my brother.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
She is in a relation.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Enough, Kenny, thanks for calling, Chris.
Speaker 8 (28:16):
Thank you absolutely, Thank you guys trying to set.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
My brother up.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
It was perfect.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Married woman, let's find a single gal, there are plenty
of them in Nashville. Anybody single reach out to Kevin
Mano and maybe we can find Ryan Mano a lovely woman.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
See the gift giving continues.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Give this your girlfriend, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
If you love Severance and you love throwbacks, you should
add this to your wedding playlist if you're getting married soon.
It's the daily double tap on one of seven five
the River. Kevin found this and UH sent it to

two things make sense together, wild.
Speaker 7 (29:40):
To me, way more creative than we could ever be.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
It gets it gets a little confusing because like technically
we are DJs, and then when people are like, oh,
you're a deal.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Those skills at all, but Kevin, but like.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
