Breaking down the complete 180 degree turn by Denver mayor Mike Johnston on Denver citizens standing up against potential ICE deportations - from a 'Tiananmen Square moment' blockading the Denver county line border against federal agents, to a broken windows theory of promising to arrest perpetrators of violence.

Gordon Chang joins Ryan to provide his perspective of President Trump's potential US-China trade deal, as well as President Xi's true intentions in negotiations and the infiltration of American institutions and land masses in an attempt to undermine and contaminate us through biological attacks.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
What goes through your mind when you see those confrontations.
Do you say, is the President watching this? What will
he do if he sees these videos?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm frustrated and I'm angry when I see that, because
I think it sends the wrong message about where Denver
is and what Denver believes. There's no reason to invite
a new battle with the president that he would love
to start in a city that doesn't.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Have a crisis.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Are you handling these protests differently this time around, knowing
that if they get out of hand, the President could
send in federal forces.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
My concern is not really about the President. My concern
is about people in Denver feeling safe. But I think
the people that miscarry this mission into violence that's just
not tolerated here.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
And I don't think I.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Think the people who care the most about this issue
would say that doesn't help them. If people are violent
and they're damaging someone's small business, we're going to rerest you.
You know, if you are assaulting an officer, we're going
to arrest you. The kind of light cars on fire, we're.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Going to arrest you.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Eighteen people were arrested Tuesday night after a group of
protesters into confrontations with police.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
The stakes are really high.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
God Los Rojas Rodriguez is with the Colorado Immigrant Rights
Coalition and help to organize the protest. And yes, we
had some confrontations and alteredcations with the police, but those
are not the folks that we are working with.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
So I just want to make that very clear.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Denver's police chief says there were agitators in the crowd.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
They try to change the message and turn it into
something different from what it originated.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
How would Denver respond if the President were to send
in federal forces or the National Guard into somewhere like Denver.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
We think we will continue to make the case there
is no need for federal intervention and we will oppose
it if they try to bring it. But I do
know if folks here are trying to advocate to protect
lagrants in this city, the worst thing you could do
for those folks is to try to attract the president
and the federal National Guard to come to your city.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
That doesn't help any of us.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Last night's protest was organized by several different groups, including
the Party for Socialism and Liberation. They helped organize another
rally earlier this week outside Aurora's ice facility, and that
group was also active during the twenty twenty Black Lives
Matter protests. This weekend, a national day of protests, is
being organized by a group called No Kings. While some

(02:16):
of the same people, of course, might be there, these
are separate groups organizing them, probably separate vibes as well.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
I'm struck by the tone shift from months ago from
maryor Johnson, the guy who was talking about how Denver
residents and even DPD would line up at the city
limits if immigration officials tried to come in here and
round people up. And now it's basically like, everybody, keep
your head down, don't let Trump see us.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
And he made those comments during an interview on Next
as well several months ago. And now the tone is
very different. It's let's keep our eyes down, let's take
care of whatever we need to on the protest so
that they don't escalate to a level. We know the
President watches a lot of TV where Denver is on
the front page of newspapers, and now newspaper headlines and

(02:59):
things like that where the President says, oh, what I'm
seeing in Denver, I don't like I'm going to use
this as an opportunity. It's very clear that that right
now is a top priority of the mayor.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
And let's be honest, based on what we know about
the president's media consumption, habits and decision making, it'll be
whichever city it could be, whichever city Fox News identifies
as the problem shines a spotlight on, then you get
a response.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Clearly the mayor doesn't want to be Denver. Mark.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Thank you, Mark Salinger, and of course comrade Kyle nine
News here locally in Denver. To start off Ryan Schuling Live,
you got to go back to what Comrade Kyle just said. Though,
it's Fox News' fault for noticing. It's Fox News's fault
for actually doing the work and reporting and not gaslighting
or projecting or helping carry the water for local administration

(03:45):
officials like Karen Bass, mayor of Los Angeles or Gavin Newsom,
governor of California. Now, Fox News is just reflecting what
is happening in a lot of these communities that goes
unreported by the likes of Kyle Clark and the mainstream media,
both locally and nationally. Kyle Clark received a direct email

(04:06):
and plea from one of his biggest fans at the time,
Cindy Romero, she was almost an exclusive consumer of nine News.
She viewed Kyle Clark as the pre eminent news anchor
in Denver proper and in Colorado, and he does get
the highest ratings to my knowledge, and he does dominate
the Denver Boulder Corridor. But when Cindy Romero alerted Kyle

(04:29):
Clark to what was going on in her apartment complex
where Trende or Ragua had commandeered buildings with the use
of machine guns turned it into mad Max Beyond Thunderdome,
he did not respond to her email. He has never
denied that accusation by Cindy herself and by me calling
him out publicly on X because he did it because

(04:53):
that was not a convenient narrative that he was trying
to advance at the time, which is, there's nothing to
see here. This this is a feature of Danielle Jorinsky's
imagination in Aurora. It's not really happening. But it was
really happening. And it took Vicenti Arenas of Fox thirty
one here locally to insist to Cindy that she tell

(05:16):
him her story, and he got that information and reported
it much to his credit, he did his job.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Kyle must be the other guy.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
Cindy came on my program live in my studio for
a full hour to tell her story. The reason I
cite this in such specific chapter and verse is because
it reveals exactly who Kyle Clark is. He will not
report those details which are inconvenient truths to his fairy tale,

(05:47):
fantasy narratives that he would like to portray that illegal
aliens aren't that big of a problem here in Colorado,
when in fact, it is a crisis, and it has
been a crisis, and it manifested itself again in the
form of a fifteen year old stealing his mother's vehicle
who was also an illegal alien, unlicensed to drive, uninsured

(06:08):
to drive, driving ninety in a forty five with children
in his vehicle, slamming into Caitlin Weaver, a twenty four
year old on her way back from work, and killing her.
Amy Patten of the eighteenth Judicial District the DA, recognizing

(06:29):
the fifteen year old would be targeted and flagged for
deportation should this be a serious criminal offense, decided in
her moment of wisdom to downgrade the charge because of
his illegal status, to probation in an effort a hamhanded
one to avoid attention from Ice, but this program and

(06:51):
conservative media throughout the nation, Kyle Clark refused to let
that happen, not on our watch, because we're doing our job,
and then he was marked for deportation along with his
entire family, as they should be.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
One.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
Americans do not want illegal aliens in this country, period,
end of sentence. I don't want the sob stories. My
heart does not bleed. Maybe Dan's does, mine doesn't. You're
here illegally for a reason. Do it the right way,
or get the hell out.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
And try again. That's it. I don't care. I don't care.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
And the polling revealed by Harry Entton CNN reveals that
the legal immigrants who are here, first generation Americans, myself included,
we are the ones who are most aghast at the
behaviors and the leniency shown and the handouts given to
illegal aliens in this country. If you want to come

(07:48):
in this country, if you want to be an immigrant
and become an American citizen, then there should be a pathway.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
For you to do that.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
But you don't get to break the law and jump
the line to get in first. Because you're special, or
you're entitled for some reason.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
You're not.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
You're entitled to blank, you're entitled to a process that
begins at the border. You can make a claim for
asylum that doesn't guarantee you anything. You don't have a
right to be here if you're a foreign national or
a sovereign nation with laws and borders. We have citizens

(08:29):
of this country who pay taxes. That is the citizenry
for whom our government funded programs are designed to help
disabled veterans coming home from war, those who have substance
abuse addictions.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Should come first.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Legal citizens of our country, Legal immigrants in our country
should come first. Illegal aliens should not get first crack,
first DIBs on program they don't even pay into. We're
not a charity organization. We as a nation, the United States,
are not an NGO. And I know that's a topic

(09:09):
that irks a lot of you out there, and I
share in that frustration. For all the good that Catholic
charities does, if they are aiding and abetting the transportation
of illegals, if they are contributing to the trafficking of
human beings across this country, then of course they should
be defunded. And if the very title is non governmental organizations,

(09:32):
why are they getting federal funds? Riddle me that one, Batman. No,
this needs to be a hard line approach, seal every
part of the border. If you listen to Stephen Miller,
he is echoing virtually everything I'm saying, and he is
spot on. He is right on the money. And the polling,

(09:53):
poll after poll continues to support the President's efforts. Tom
Holman's efforts, ices efforts to deport illegal aliens criminally illegal aliens. Sure,
but if you're an illegal alien, you've inherently committed a
crime against our laws of immigration.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
And if you're willing to go that far, what.

Speaker 6 (10:18):
Is the disincentive, the deterrent from such an illegal alien
committing more crimes like the fifteen year old we saw
swipe his mom's vehicle, drive it without a license, drive
it without insurance, plow into a twenty four year old
American citizen, kill her, and then also get preferential treatment. No,

(10:40):
you get a boot in the ass, that's your reward. Enjoy.
Then we had the firebomber, the Egyptian national deny a
gun purchase because.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
He's an illegal alien. Never was that red flag.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
You want a red flag law, that's where it should work,
That's where it should spur our law enforcement into action
and saying, hey, whoa, this guy's here illegally and he
tried he tried to buy a gun.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Not illegal. This is what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
It is an invitation for these illegal aliens to commit
more crimes because they were not punished for the very
first crime they committed, a crossing our border. Then this
clown tried to buy a gun and was denied, so
that process worked.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Jason Crowe crowed about it.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
Then why wasn't he marked for deportation and removal at
that very instant.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
No.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
He then resorted to going online, watching YouTube videos and
figuring out how to make molotov cocktails, then throwing those
firebombs into a peaceful march, lighting an eighty eight year
old Holocaust survivor woman on fire, attacking them because they
were Jewish, saying kill.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
All Zionists, that was his mantra.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
And then Phil None the Wiser has the audacity to
go on CNN and say, well, maybe hold on, he's
been detained.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Okay, that's one thing.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
His family, though they may be entitled to asylum. Again,
they're entitled to blank. If you have a father or
a husband who did what he did, all bets are off.
My deepest sincerest apologies to you, but you have nobody
to blame but your criminal, illegal alien father and husband

(12:29):
for committing that crime and that fire bomb attack. It's
not our fault, it's not our responsibility as the United
States government.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
As American citizens.

Speaker 6 (12:39):
We don't owe these people anything, nor should you feel
obligated or compelled to owe them anything. That doesn't make
you a bad person, That makes you somebody who respects
our laws, our borders, in our American way of life.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Michael Savage says it again.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
I used to think he was extreme, then I figured
out he will borders, language, culture, they must be preserved
at all costs. This is the United States of America
for those that want to come here and be Americans
and assimilate to our culture, which means you are not
a fanatical, radical, fundamentalist, extremist Muslim who wants all Jews

(13:19):
and Zionists to die. That is not compatible with the
American way of life. And this shouldn't be a controversial subject.
I don't know that it is. But going back to
what Mayor Mike Johnston said there. It was remarkable and
was actually quite smart. If you advocate for the harboring

(13:39):
and protection of illegal aliens, which Mike Johnston does, it's
a viewpoint, it's a political stance. I firmly, as I
just articulated, disagree with it. But if that is your
firmly held belief, and I don't deny that Mike Johnston
feels that way, then correct, you cannot sanction, sign off
on condone tolerate violence in the name of that action.

(14:04):
If this truly was the hippie, dippy piece loving movement,
make love not war, et cetera, then there would be
no violence or agitators on that side of the argument.
They're siting Kent State and that was a horrible tragedy
and Crosby Stills a Nash Road a song about it
for Dead in Ohio, and that was the overreach of

(14:27):
the federal government taking pot shots at protesters.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
That's not what's happening here. The violence.

Speaker 6 (14:34):
The agitators, a lot of them are coordinated and funded,
well funded, organized handing out these masks to make sure
they don't get tear gased and that it will not
affect them as much setting up shop in these various cities,
handing out chisels to parse away portions of concrete to

(14:55):
throw at LAPD. Local law enforcement not the way, and
Mike Johnston, again somewhat to his credit, says that this
violence is counterproductive and won't be tolerated. Mike Johnston trying
to blunt the potential of a Trump federal government sending

(15:16):
in National Guard marines like they did LA credit Johnston
this again, He's watching what's happening in Los Angeles. I
don't want that happening here in Denver. So you do
this crap here in Denver, at least Mayor Johnston saying
this local law enforcement is going to handle it.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
You will be arrested.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
You will not be permitted to demolish and loot local businesses,
to throw rocks or firebombs at law enforcement or Denver Heights,
Denver citizens. You'll be apprehended. You'll be arrested, you'll be
charged with a crime. I know it's a low bar,
but Karen bass isn't saying that, Gavin Newsoen's not saying that.

(15:57):
Mike Johnston did say it, so you could say his
motive for that is political survival, and in large part
you would be correct.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
But what moved him so far so fast?

Speaker 6 (16:08):
As Comrade Kyle and Mark Salinger point out in that interview,
was it Westward or Denver? Right?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Thing?

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Was Denver eight?

Speaker 6 (16:17):
Johnston compared the potential ICE forces coming in to execute
mass deportations. He compared that to Denver's Tieneman's square moment.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Clark left that part out.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
That was the comparison, you know, the young Chinese student
standing in front of the tank bat moment, No, the rose, etc.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
He was summoning.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
Was Mayor Mike Johnson at that time, some months ago,
now that residence citizens would stand in unison at the
county and city border to prevent Ice from coming in,
that he would enlist Denver PD to do the same.
I mean, Ron Thomas had to be having nightmare about
those comments. I don't know Ron Thomas's politics. I'm glad

(17:04):
that I don't. I think it's to his credit and
it reveals some integrity about him that those are not
things that he wears on his sleeve. But you got
to admit that this guy is being put in a
very precarious position, no matter how you feel about the
issue by Mayor Johnston and that comment right there that
he's going to allow.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Denver PD Mayor Mike Johnston, Ron Thomas and his.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
Troops that are serving are officers Denver officers that are
serving and protecting the citizens of that city, that he's
going to allow DPD to do its job to prevent
these malicious, ill intended protests, which are actually riots, from
occurring here in Denver to the degree that that's possible.

(17:47):
And what we're watching play out is that the so
called protests are on a much smaller scale here in Denver.
They are being contained. There have been arrests, I believe
as many as eighteen. That's what the story is saying here,
and Johnston knowing that they are losing this argument, and
that would be my thesis that I would advance in
this case. They know, Johnston is what witnessing in real

(18:08):
time the polling data and how much Trump's approval is
soaring in the wake of these so called protests. The
spectacle that Senator Alex Paedia just put on, the Democrat
senator from Kelly's home state of California, was pathetic and laughable.
They are losing on this issue with the American people.

(18:29):
Johnston knows this. He's no dummy. So he again is
looking to provide some kind of daylight so that the
Denver ped can be allowed to do its job. And
so Trump doesn't have a reason an excuse, however you
want to label that, to send in Ice, to send
in the National Guard, to send in the Marines, like
we've seen in Los Angeles, then we've seen order restored.

(18:51):
I saw Chris Hayes, who's an absolute clown MSNBC saying,
don't believe you're lion eyes. There's nothing to see here.
The violence is what are you talking about? This is
an exaggeration by the Trump administration. Blah blah blah. And
then try to square that with the fact that Mayor
Karen Bess set a curfew in Los Angeles downtown from
eight pm to six am. Why would she do that

(19:14):
if there wasn't widespread violence in the city. Ask yourself
that as we go to break Gordon Shang coming up
next talking trade deal with China, well as the summer
months heat up, and we're getting the nineties this weekend,
So is this time to think about your retirement and
set aside an investment through trade and wealth that'll have

(19:37):
you set up for that retirement plan and for that
wealth building that you're planning from whatever age you are
right now until the finish line, for whatever your working
days are done. For me, there's going to be three
phases to this, and Andy Justics described this to me
in not one but two sit down consultations one on one.
That is the contributions you will make during your working years,

(20:00):
continuing to build up that wealth so that when you
get to retirement, that middle stage, you'll be able to
draw off of those investments, have enough to live on,
have enough to live on hopefully comfortably, and then set
aside enough that when you come to the end of
it all the legacy that which you leave behind for
your loved ones will be enough to help sustain them
as well. It's all possible with that first step, and

(20:22):
it all happens with that first phone call seven to
two oh four zero five thirty three hundred one of
three local areas and branches that you can meet with
Andy or one of his cohorts at Trajean Wealth, Greenwood Village, DTC,
Broomfield or Loveland. That number one more time, seven two
oh four zero five thirty three hundred that first consultation.

(20:43):
It is free, and then you can get on that
path to a secure retirement and the peace of mind
that comes with it. All of this you can find
out online as well Trajanwealth dot com. Yes it's just
that simple, Trajanwealth dot com for Trajean Wealth, a proud
sponsor of Ryan Schuling. Live advisory service is offered through
Trajan Wealth LLC and SEC registered investment advisor. Paid advertisement.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
From his true social account.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
President Trump singing the praises of his negotiations with China
and saying this yesterday, our deal with China is done.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Mind you. This is in all capital letters.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Our deal with China is done, subject to final approval
with President G and me. Full magnets and any necessary
rare earths will be supplied upfront by China. Likewise, we
will provide to China what was agreed to, including Chinese
students using our colleges and universities. Parenthetical which has always
been good with me. We are getting a total of

(21:42):
fifty five percent tariffs, China is getting ten percent. Relationship
is excellent. Thank you for your attention to this matter,
and then he followed up with adding to the China readout,
President g and I are going to work closely together
to open up China to American trade. This would be
a great win for both countries. Three exclamation points. I

(22:03):
think our next guest is going to respond with three
question marks, and that is Gordon Chang, expert on all
things China, and he joins us here on Ryan Shuling Live.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
Gordon, welcome back.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Brian.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
Take us through your response and your reaction to what
President Trump has posted and what he has said about
this pending deal with China.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Yeah, the big concern is what Howard Lutnik, the Commerce Secretary,
said on Tuesday, and that is what they really have
is a handshake on a framework, which doesn't sound like
a firm agreement. The other thing is that what President
Trump said about the deals subject to final approval from
him and Sjenping, it does appear that the agreement that

(22:46):
they negotiated in London must be beyond the parameters that
Siegimping and Trump gave to their respective negotiators, because otherwise,
why would there be this approval thing if it was
already done deal. We'll see, but we've got to be
concerned because we at this point need to make sure

(23:09):
that our supply chains are secure, and that means that
they don't run through China. So while opening up China
is a great idea, I don't think making ourselves dependent
on a hostile regime that is dedicated to take us
down is a terribly good idea.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
Gordon, I have not asked you this question, I take
in such blunt of terms, But why is it in
your view, with the knowledge of history that you have
not just on China, but on the failure of communist
dictatorial regimes throughout world history.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
You can point to.

Speaker 6 (23:40):
Venezuela, Cuba, the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Why has it quote.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
Unquote worked at least to the degree that it has
that we've seen in China unique to that country.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Well, First of all, the United States for a very
long time had presidents who believed it was in America's
interest to strengthen the Chinese regime, and that meant that
oftentimes they preferred Chinese workers over American ones, and that
gave a lot of strength to China. But also I
think that in this particular case, the two thousand and

(24:14):
eight downturn was a real turning point because it gave
a lot of confidence to the Chinese leaders. What they
did was they closed their economy up and they then
embarked on the biggest stimulus program in history. So yeah,
they created a lot of growth. But right now China
is starting to have its two thousand and eight and

(24:36):
they got to pay for what they did, you know,
a decade ago, and this is going to be very
difficult for them.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Gordon Chang, you can follow him on acts. Highly recommend
that you do so. At Gordon g. Chang is the
author of several books on China and how they view
the United States as an adversary but also as a
necessary advocate when it comes to trade and having an
advantage in those trade frameworks. As Gordon has painted so
clearly for US over the years, they have most favored

(25:04):
nation status. They are considered a developing nation. The rules
that apply to the rest of the West when it
comes to the modern industrialized economy do not apply to China,
so they get to play by a special set of rules.
They also kind of are uniquely positioned in the world. Gordon,
and I thought of you during this exchange in testimony
from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth being questioned by Senator

(25:27):
Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. We'll listen to that and then
have your commentary on the other side. Just a moment,
right now, let's go to that number one, the aggressors.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
That a little bleed through on the audio. My mistake
there one more time. Here we go Number one.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Who's the aggressor and who's the victim in the conflict?

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Russia's the aggressor. Which side do you want to win?

Speaker 7 (25:54):
As we've said time and time again, this president is
committed to peace in that conflict. Peace serves our national interests,
and we think the interest of both parties, even if
that outcome will not be preferable to many in this
room and many in our country.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Which saw its president pulling for well.

Speaker 7 (26:12):
As we stated by both of you, we obviously understand unfortunately,
under this administration and the policy excuse me, under the
previous administration and the policies they pursued, it is driven
Russia and China closer together. So there's no doubt that
China would prefer that Vladimir Putin have a good outcome,

(26:33):
but it would also prefer a prolonged conflict that would
keep US and other countries tied down. And incapable of
paying attention to the malign influence of China elsewhere.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
Now, Gordon, to me, that last point is the key point,
meaning that China really flourishes when the rest of the
world is in turmoil and chaos, which, of course this
war between Ukraine and Russia is providing within that opportunity
to draw Russia closer in an alliance, but also just
to kind of lead the way when it comes to
the markets on all fronts producing goods and services that

(27:05):
people the world wide need. How do you read Secretary
Hegseth's remarks here and where President g sees himself in
position with China in regard to the conflicts in the world,
whether that be Russia and Ukraine or anywhere else.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Yeah, China is very much pulling for Russia, is across
the board's support. They're doing the same thing for Iran
and Pakistan, and they're destabilizing North Africa. So as the
Secretary said, China is destabilizing the world. You know, with
regard to Ukraine, yes, I think that Jimping would like

(27:40):
to see that war prolonged, but he definitely more important
wants to see Russia win, so we could win that
war by starving the Russian regime of cash. No money
for Putin means no war. That's a quick end. And
I don't think that Cajianping is going to want to
see the Russians fail. That's the most important thing, not

(28:00):
the length of the of the war.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
One final question, and this was odd and it comes
from my home state, Gordon of Michigan, in which students
have been accused of smuggling potential agro terrorism fungus into
the United States. A very bizarre story, both Chinese ties.
What more can you tell us about this? And the
Chinese efforts to further infiltrate our country and undermine it
from within.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
This is a biological weapons attack. This is a weapon
of mass destruction as an attack on American farms and ranches.
And this is not isolated because we know that since
at least twenty twenty, China has been trying to plant
invasive species in our country by sending seeds to Americans unsolicited.
They did that five years ago to everybody, to people

(28:49):
in all fifty states. This year at Kimu, the online
Chinese retailer, has been sending seeds unsolicited into the US,
especially into Texas. So we're under attack and the question
is why should we have trade negotiations and why should
we prade with the nation that is trying to starve Americans.

Speaker 6 (29:11):
See you dig down to that level on unsolicited seeds,
and that's why we turn to Gordon Chang, the author
of Plan Red, China's Project to destroy America, the coming
collapse of China and China is going to War. All
available on Amazon. You can follow him on x at
Gordon g Chang, and of course you see his many
television hits on Fox News, Newsmax and other outlets as well.
And we're proud to bring him here on Ryan Shuling Live. Gordon,

(29:33):
always great catching up with you. Thanks for the information
and we'll check in again soon.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
And I'm proud to be on your show, Ryan, So
thank you.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
Take that as tremendous praise from the likes of Gordon Chang,
your thoughts, the reaction five seven, seven thirty nine, wrapping
up our number one of Ryan Schuling Live.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
After these.

Speaker 8 (29:52):
Unsolicited seeds, I keep going back to that Gordon Chang
fueling your nightmares every time he appears, and Kelly Kacherra
will attest to that.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
But keeping our heads on a swivel. You know, a
trade deal with China.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
It sounds good in theory, but they're always moving the goalposts,
always undermining what they've agreed to. I don't trust Jijinping
as far as I can throw Winnie the Pooh, and
he doesn't like those comparisons online either.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
Five seven seven three nine.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
Your texts One Night in Bangkok my entire theory, and
Gordon's actually confirmed that this could work, and a pressure
campaign against China would be to maximize our allies in
the region, including Thailand, Singapore, Japan and all of those Philippines.
Would be another one that comes to mind as well,
the artist formerly known as Hong Kong, and of course Taiwan. Taiwan,

(30:43):
especially when the production of microchips that is front and
center in the technological battle, and Taiwan very much aligned
with our interests. It is in our national interest, our
international interests to align with them and to defend them
against a potential Chinese invasion takeover.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Perish the thought.

Speaker 6 (31:02):
I don't think President g is gonna try that with
the Orange Ban in charge.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
Let's go to the text five seven seven three nine.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Ryan Jason Crowe crowed about it lmao, the real Ralph. Well,
I would even take that from the fake Ralph, but
it means even more that it's coming from the real
one from yesterday. Ryan, a great beach Boys music today
in memory of Brian Wilson. What a great loss. Haven't
heard Caroline know in a long time? Thanks guys. Yeah,
I chose that because, of course Dan's daughter is named Caroline,

(31:30):
although I don't think after that song was it after.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond? Was it a.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
Different Caroline Kelly? To your knowledge, do you have the
full scoop on that one?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
It's about his daughter? No, no, no, Why did Dan Kaplis
name his daughter? Oh Caroline? What's the story behind the name?
That's my question? Do you know?

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I get?

Speaker 6 (31:51):
Why?

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Don't you ponder?

Speaker 1 (31:52):
We should ask?

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Text him right now. Let's find out.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
See if we can find out during the break, Ryan,
I'm a white construction worker who has been working with
Hispanic work as a boss for over forty years here
in the Denver area. Most came the right way, and
they had to be on their best behavior to become
a citizen. Many a friend I made, they are staying
low and hate what is going on?

Speaker 4 (32:11):
They shouldn't have to stay low.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
And I fully welcome, encourage and support legal immigrants of
any background, of any background that come here that want
to work hard, that want to pursue the American dream.
The pursuit of happiness is guaranteed, not happiness, the pursuit
of happiness through hard work, commitment, dedication. Having that, and

(32:36):
I know that you Texter probably see this more than
anybody else, those who come here the right way and
yearn to be American citizens and take great pride in that,
and pledging allegiance to our flag, not lighting it on fire,
not waving the flag of their home country, Mexico, Venezuela,
wherever else. You can bring those customs, those traditions, everything

(32:59):
that goes along with that culture to the American melting pot.
But that's the end destination, right we all want to
be Americans pulling in the same direction. I can't stand
it that a lot of times now, I'm sorry, but
we see television ads and they're in Spanish. Why do
they put ads in English in Spain or Mexico or
any other Spanish speaking country. I wouldn't expect them to. No,

(33:22):
it is up to me if I moved to one
of those countries. I need to speak the native tongue.
I need to learn Spanish a lot better than I
know it now after two years of high school Spanish,
and it's many, many years ago, and it's very rusty,
and I probably had the vocabulary of a typical four
year old. But I would need to do better. I
would need to step up my game. I would feel
compelled to do that, I would feel obligated to do that.

(33:45):
I cannot stress this enough. My grandfather came here and
he spoke English. He's very well read. He spoke German,
and he spoke Serbian. But he made a commitment to
becoming an American citizen, to be in call John instead
of Ivan, to speaking English in his home except when
he got really angry with my mom, his daughter. Then

(34:07):
they go went into Serbian and my dad was lost
because he didn't speak a lick. Maybe they did that
on purpose. I think that happens a lot too. There's
a story about that, my mom and my Bubba in
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I'll tackle that another time.
Ryan Dan has said it's after Sweet Caroline Well Neil Diamond,
of course, and you know Who's Sweet Caroline Who? That

(34:27):
song's named after Caroline Kennedy. That's your little fun tidbit.
If you want me on your weekly trivia team, contact
Kelly will set it up.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
I will join forces.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
With you, and I promise to be an asset in
very specific circumstances, music and sports being chief among them.
A timeout when we come back a doubleheader Steven L.
Miller on one side read Steve celebrating the one year
anniversary of so called Cheap Fakes and Ryan Edwards on
a potential new stadium for the Broncos.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
Before we commence with our two of Ryan Schuling Live.
