A woman named Kim Hall in Australia woke up from
her jaw surgery and now she has a British accents.

I hear about this and it's so funny. I mean,
it's probably tragy, but it's funny when this happens to people.

British accent?

But she just went to surgery and got it, went
to woke up.

She underwent extensive treatment after being diagnosed with squamos cell carcinoma.

So about a week after surgery, her family said that
they noticed her Australian accent changed to what now sounds
like an English accent. Apparently it's called foreign accent syndrome.
It's a neurological condition that alters speech patterns, usually after
a stroke or brain injury, which makes it really weird
for this lady Kim because nothing was ever wrong with

A woman named Kim Hall in Australia woke up from
her jaw surgery and now she has a British accents.

I hear about this and it's so funny. I mean,
it's probably tragy, but it's funny when this happens to people.

What would you rather have an Australian accent or a
British accent?

But she just went to surgery and got it, went
to woke up.

She underwent extensive treatment after being diagnosed with squamos cell carcinoma.

Yeah, well in her lower jaw.

So about a week after surgery, her family said that
they noticed her Australian accent changed to what now sounds
like an English accent. Apparently it's called foreign accent syndrome.
It's a neurological condition that alters speech patterns, usually after
a stroke or brain injury, which makes it really weird
for this lady Kim because nothing was ever wrong with

her brain.

She just had jaw surgery, so like, why are you
speaking with a different accent now? Anesthesia? You think this
was planned all along?

She was like, I'm gonna wake up from surgery start
talking different.

on a British accent? Was it? Ariana Grande did it
when she was living in London for a little while,

was this woman's plan, Like I want to be British
so bad.

like three or four years ago, opened it with her boyfriend.
She made a TikTok crying about how she literally built
this coffee shop herself with her own money from the
ground up. Help, no loans, nothing, And she got a
letter that her lease is running out in a few
months and that the rent is set to go up,
and she doesn't know if she'll be able to stay.
