Speaker 6 (00:59):
Him.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
Mister Wonderful is reportedly working on a deal to buy TikTok.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
He says.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Dodgers owner Frank McCourt would also be his partner in
this deal, and he'll also need Trump's help to close
the deal in the months ahead. He said, quote, this
isn't just about buying TikTok's US assets. It's about something
much bigger, protecting the privacy of one hundred and seventy
million American users.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
What's the date? I thought they had until January nineteenth,
two weeks from now to sell it or gets banned
in the States.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
I don't think he cares about protecting Americans privacy.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
He's he's from Canada. He's not even from here for
you to know.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
That, mister Wonderful is not He's Canadian. I didn't know that.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
This is one hundred percent about how much more money
this could possibly make him if it even happens. Because
you got to think, like TikTok also has to be
willing to sell, Yeah, isn't that also the whole other
half of.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
The issue is that they don't want to sell. Sure,
that's part of it too. Some people who just they're
not into TikTok. They're like, oh, it's a lip syncing
dancing apt so much more. Oh my god, what's so good?
Once you get down that rabbit hole, once your algorithm
is where you like it, it just spits out video
after video after video. Oh it's the great. I hope
(02:16):
they keep it, but you guys, let us know, keep
it or get rid of it.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
What headlines you got, Strawberry.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Well, locally, Sacramento area fire crews have been deployed to
southern California to help combat the wildfires in LA. We
touched on this yesterday, but now it looks like there's
twenty two firefighters, five engines, one strike team vehicle, all
from sack And additionally, Roseville Fire has sent a strike
team leader and an engine staff with four other firefighters.
(02:43):
I mean, we wish them well and hope they stay
safe out there.
Speaker 6 (02:46):
Liam.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
It's a disaster and it's heartbreaking watching the news.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
And I'm sure this doesn't even put a dune into how.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
Many other firefighters from other counties and other states are
also going down there because these fires are just getting
worse and worse control.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
That's how the headlines on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point nine. We'll hear from you next if you
want to keep TikTok or get rid of it, let
us know.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Strawberry and Lazette.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
On Sacramento's New Kiss one oh seven point.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Nine, Mister Wonderful from Shark Tank is trying to purchase
and save TikTok because otherwise TikTok will be banned. January nineteenth.
It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point nine. Lazette, you say save it absolutely.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
I think TikTok is very informative. It teaches so much,
we can learn so much. It needs to stay.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I'm a fan as well. I say save it. But
what do you think get rid of TikTok or save it?
Speaker 6 (03:37):
I'm gonna be rude with you, guys. I know TikTok
has done a lot of bad stuff for people's like
attention spans and stuff. But to me, TikTok has allowed
so many every day people to find massive levels of
success and anything that's letting regular people get rich, we
need to keep it.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Are you like making videos and making money?
Speaker 6 (03:59):
And I mean I try to. I just can't figure
it out like I do stand up comedy for our
post stuff.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Every year, and there you must not be very funny.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh, I'm joking Marissa in Sack. Keep TikTok or finally
get rid of it.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Honestly, I don't. I'm not on TikTok that much, so
I really don't care.
Speaker 8 (04:21):
So if they get rid.
Speaker 7 (04:23):
Of it, a your life doesn't change and my life
does not change.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
I'm happy that your life won't change once TikTok disappears,
mine will. I'm two weeks away from getting a full
night's rest, I'm two weeks away from increasing my attention
span and having a healthy brain again.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Like my life is changing dramatically.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
What about the frustration of watching an Instagram video not
being able to fast forward it like you can on TikTok? Yeah,
get fast forward to Instagram videos like, Oh, my span.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Can't take it.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
I'm watching two seconds of normal speed explode.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Never misomitted with Strawberry and Lazette on Kiss one oh
seven point nine.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Stream live every afternoon from three to seven on me
Always Free, iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
It's Strawberry and Lazette in the afternoon and it looks
like We have a fifty to fifty splits on everybody
voting in our Instagram story at one O seven to
nine kiss keep TikTok or save it. Mister Wonderful from
Shark Tank is willing to purchase it and save the app.
But what do you think?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
You know?
Speaker 8 (05:27):
A few months ago, I would have said get rid
of it, but now it feels like I get so
much of my recommendation from TikTok for like, I don't
know products to try, things to do every day in
my city, stuff like that, So I just I think,
keep it, keep it, That's.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
What I'm saying too.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
I think the people who don't care if TikTok leaves
think that it's just a brain brought app. But what
they don't know is there's actually a lot of really
informative I like to find new recipes on there. I
find cute little hacks. DIY like, there's so much on TikTok.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
No lie.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I saw a video this morning nine ways that serial
killers got caught. It's like everybody from Ted Bundy. One
of them was like, uh, one of them sped away
from the cops because he thought he was pulled over.
They're like, no, bro, you just have a tail light out.
Wait a minute, was that blood in your back seat?
So I learned how nine different serial killers got caught
by the cops.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Seeing the full show every afternoon whenever.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
You want, It's Strawberry and Lizette on Sacramento's New Kiss
one oh, seven point nine.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Have you seen Squid Game Season two yet?
Speaker 1 (06:34):
No?
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Okay, I know everybody's talking about it. I haven't seen this.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Oh, you got to catch up.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
I do need to catch up.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
There apparently was a huge editing mistake that producers and
filmmakers didn't catch before the show out and fans did.
Sacramento's New Kids when I was seven point nine, Strawberry
lysette in the afternoon.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
So, without giving too much away, I don't want to
spoil it because.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Someone hasn't seen it. I haven't seen a new Squid
Game yet.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
No.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
There's a.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Big shootout scene, okay, okay, And at one point the
camera switches angles in the middle of this shootout, and
in the corner you can see the other camera man
standing there. He's wearing all black and he's just holding
this giant camera.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Huh.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
Clearly not supposed to be there, obviously, Like he just
pops up standing there in the middle of.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
All this chaos.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
This show is so big that this is probably about
as bad as the Starbucks Cup and Game of Thrones.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
That's what I was going to ask, Is it on
that level? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (07:38):
Kind of, that's not good because this is a huge
Netflix show.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Yeah, but it's very common.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Because as I was reading about this editing mistake, I
read about other editing mistakes, like an Umbrella Academy, there
was one scene where they forgot to move prop snow okay, so.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
The prop snowed stayed where it.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Wasn't supposed to be, okay, fake snow.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
There was another scene where there was a camera rig
in the backseat of a car that someone caught, uh huh.
And there's lots of editing mistakes in Outer Banks, another
Netflix show where they apparently are really bad at hiding
stunt doubles, so the stunt doubles will be in the
scenes with the actual like actress actor.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
When I was a kid, I used to always like
when there was a car chase, I would always look
on the street like, oh, there's tire tracks. There's probably
gonna be a little skid out right here. When you're
watching TV shows or movies. And then as I got older,
when dead bodies would be on like Law and Order
CSI be like, are they breathing? I could see him breathing.
I can see him bathing.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
I pay attention to to hair. I pay attention to
appearance on an actor.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Their hair, the way their collar is sitting, or like jackets,
or the way they're holding purses.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Like little things like that.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
I change.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
I notice will change back and forth, and I'm like, oh,
are completely different.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Takes continuity. The word of the day is continuity.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Kiss one of seven point nine.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I want to join the conversation.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Send Strawberry and Lisette a talkback message while you stream
the New Kiss. When I was seven point nine on
the always Free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
It's hard to maintain your innocence when you're caught in
four k oh, who does that?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Who does that? All right?
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Sacramento's New Kiss went a seven point nine Strawberry was
set in the afternoon. A Tesla driver in Florida was
caught on video taking the secret lane, the special lane
for Tesla's Are you aware of this lane?
Speaker 1 (09:33):
One?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
In Florida.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
So this car was driving on the sidewalk.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Oh it's GOODNA say, that's a.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Thing next to the road and against traffic.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Luckily, no one was injured and police are investigating. No
idea if this driver was drunk, if this driver was
under the influence of something, or maybe just trying to
utilize their special Tesla privileges.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
We know how they get.
Speaker 9 (09:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
I thought Tesla's had like that driver interaction thing where
if you're too close to somebody or something, it'll swerve
out of the way to keep you safe. Like, how
do you override that and drive down the sidewalk? I
think you can turn it on and off, can't you?
Speaker 6 (10:08):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Foiled again?
Speaker 6 (10:09):
Right?
Speaker 4 (10:10):
I don't know. I don't know inn a Tesla.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
I think you can turn it on and off, though,
so some people have it on, some people don't.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Is there a sidewalk mode that we don't know about?
Probably apparently.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Let's ask elon Musk ask him. I love the answers.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
It does that, No, it does that.
Speaker 4 (10:26):

Speaker 9 (10:53):
Okay. I just wanted to give a shout out to
the Sacramento Fire Department. They've been helping with the why
wildfires in La and they've been just doing a hero's job.
I can't imagine how difficult that might be, but I
pray for their safety and that they save as many
(11:15):
lives as they can.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
Absolutely, I can't imagine also getting that phone call like
we gotta go down to La guys.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
You know, we need our help, We need to go
do what we're here to do.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
And like just even the family members having to send
them off, it must be such a scary time and
a worry sometime, but definitely fingers crossed praying for their safety,
praying for all of them to return safely. It's just
such a crazy situation happening right now.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
It is It's a Strawberry and Lazette show every afternoon,
and we got Hello headlines coming up next. What are
we talking about, Lozelle?
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Well, speaking of the wildfires, this La NFL team donate
a a couple hundred thousand to the wildfire Relief Fund.
Speaker 4 (11:55):

point nine. It's Strawberry and Lazette's giving you Hella headlines
right now.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
There is a lot happening down in LA and it's
happening fast.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
There are now reportedly six.
Speaker 5 (12:17):
Fires in the area, possibly maybe seven. I just saw
another one in Ventura County sparked up. It's honestly becoming
too much, and two of the biggest fires still at
zero percent containment. Many celebrities have reportedly lost their homes,
but lots of you know, normal people just like you
and me have also either had to evacuate or lost
(12:37):
their apartments or homes completely. Like just nothing but ash.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Yeah, I've been checking in with a lot of friends
and colleagues down in the LA area. And also think
about all the animals too. There's a lot of sanctuaries
in that area, a lot of farms and horses up there. Like,
it's not just celebrities. Of course, the celebrities are getting
the media attention, like Paris Hilton and everybody, but it's tough.
There's a lot of people losing everything they own.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
The Chargers donated two hundred thousand dollars to the Relief Fund,
which we'll go to assisting evacuees, first responders, animal rescue,
and cleanup cruise. Bethany Frank's charity, be Strong, Is it Frank?
Frank Frank computer autocorrect it I was like that doesn
sound right. Be Strong has also helped to distribute aid
(13:22):
and quote critical supplies, and they also plan to provide
cash cards to those who don't have anything to their
name and have lost their homes and stuff. Once things
get a little more like calmed down, they're gonna have
cash cards ready to hand out people who need it.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
But headlines you get Strawberry Well.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Locally, this Sunday, there is a huge job fare at

more than three hundred ballpark positions available for the upcoming season.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
For everybody who never seems to have enough vacation days
or time off from work, I found something for you.
It was this article that said, turn sixteen PTO days
into fifty five days of vacation. Oh do you want
to try? Oh do you want to try it?
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Well, let me let me hear it first.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
It's easy, all right. A Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's
New Kiss one oh seven point nine. So basically, you
plan your PTO days around holidays, like this year there's
gonna be six federal holidays. They're all gonna be on Monday,
and then you have Fourth of July, which is on
a Friday. So like Martin Luther King Day coming up,
you take your PTO on Friday because Martin Luther King
(15:12):
Day is Monday. So that's four days off in a row. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday,
same day for President's Day.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
So you basically use your PTO around days that are
already holiday weekend, so you have like a longer yes,
a longer weekend.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Yeah. So President's Day it's normally a three day weekend.
It's on Monday, February seventeenth. If you take off that Friday,
now you're off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Same thing moved.
For Memorial Day, it's on a Monday. Take off that Friday.
Juneteenth is on a Thursday, so you have Juneteenth off.
If you take off Friday, the twentieth, and then you
(15:49):
have Saturday and Sunday, it's another four day weekend. And
you just keep doing this throughout the year, Thanksgiving and
Christmas get a little more complicated, but that's basically it.
You just like cherry pick your peace days around these holidays,
you stretch out your vacation time. Interesting you down?
Speaker 6 (16:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (16:08):
Sure, what.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Else am I gonna do? If you want more info,
If you want the link to where I saw this,
send us a DM on our Instagram at Strawberry and Lazeppa. Yeah,
you've turned sixteen pto days into fifty five days of vacation.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
We'll test it out this here and then we'll let
y'all know at the end of the year, like should
we keep going?
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Are we doing this? In twenty six?
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Got to got to It's Kiss one oh seven point nine.
Speaker 2 (16:34):

Speaker 1 (16:38):
It's Strawberry and Lizette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
Nine, giving you your daily dose of the good news
stories right here, Sacramento's New Kiss one o seven point nine,
Strawberry and Lisett in the afternoon.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
How cool is this?
Speaker 5 (16:55):
A math teacher in Pennsylvania gave her fifth graders a
break from math prop and instead treated them to a
lesson in fine dining etiquettes. Okay, she transformed her classroom
into a swanky five star restaurant, complete with reservations, a
piano player.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
And even a fireplace.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
It was just a projected fireplace on the whiteboard, but
a fireplace nonetheless works. The kids dressed up, they learned
all about proper table manners, and enjoyed a fancy meal.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
It doesn't stop there.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
The teacher then raised money to take the kids to
a real fine dining experience, and the restaurant ended up
covering the entire cost. She went in there with money
to pay sure, and the restaurant was like, nah, we
got it.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
And she's a math like, this is a math class.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Yeah, this is a math class.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
I don't know how to connect. They don't, but that's great.
And she goes, all right, we're gonna, like, you know,
add up your entrees and your advertisers and then tax
and a tip.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
She could have done a Now, I don't think this
was a budgeting lesson.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
It was a fine dining etiquette like this teacher because
she didn't have to use that money on the restaurant trip.
Those funds instead went right back into the classroom on
like supplies and things like that.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
That better be a.
Speaker 5 (18:08):
Class full of distinguished ladies and gentlemen. Right after all
of that, so cute, love her, and that's what's good.
Right here on is Sacramento's a New Kiss one oh
seven point nine.
