What I would give to have Spider Man walking around
our offices.

It's Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny Window
six point five. So our sunny story of the day,
it's a feel good story. It's usually local. It's just
meant to put a smile on your face in the morning.
And Joanna's got a real good one today.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
So the company Multi Puer, along with our friends at Candlelighters,
Childhood Cancer Foundation and Critical Care Comics, did a visit
to the pediatric ward at Summerland Hospital late last week. Now,
superheroes showed up to help raise awareness about the Candlelighters
upcoming thirty fifth Superhero five K. But besides raising awareness,

those superheroes put a smile on children's faces, because I mean,
who wouldn't smile at Spider Man walking around the halls.
You would just be automatically in a good mood.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, these are always like my favorite pictures to see.
I mean, there's so much garbage on social media, but
when I do stumble across something like this, when I'm
scrolling and I see some kids getting visited by you know,
Iron Man or Thor or Spider Man, that's God. That
smiles on their faces are worth a million bucks.

Absolutely lifts their spirits instantly. Now, the Superhero five K
is coming up this month on the twenty eighth, and
it is a very family friendly, fun event bringing people
together to support local families who are battling childhood cancer.
