Speaker 1 (00:00):
Daylight savings time went into effect yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
How you feeling this morning?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
We have to fall back, which means we get an
extra hour of sleep. But let's be real, right, the
switch isn't always everybody's favorite.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Oh I'm pretty indifferent about it because look, my sleeping
habits are so terrible. It just doesn't affect me yet, Like,
you can't get it, can't get any worse on it?
Speaker 1 (00:16):
S Oh no, well, I think everybody has an opinion
on this. And Melanie's actually on the phone right now. Melanie,
does the time change bother you? How do you handle
on it?
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (00:27):
You know, it used to not bother me too much,
but once you have little kids, it's just like the
most annoying thing ever because.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
It just like wrecks them for days. Yeah, we have a.
Speaker 6 (00:37):
Problem getting anywhere on time.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
You can't make it to school on time, they don't
get to bed on time. They're cranky for weeks, Like
it just takes up.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Forever to adjust.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
It is the worst.
Speaker 5 (00:46):
I wish it would go away.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
No, I agree right with kids now, it's like they
are on sleep schedules, they have routines, and that's.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Where they really thrive.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
So when that time adjustment comes, it throws off everybody's world.
That it is definitely something I've realized now that I've
become a parent.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Absolutely, Yeah, it's just it's so hard for everyone involved.
And I just read it now every year.
Speaker 7 (01:10):
Well, I'll tell you what the cheat code is here.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Have as terrible as sleeping habits as I do, and
then it really can't get much worse, like daylight saving
time can't touch after that.
Speaker 7 (01:22):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So yeah, awesome, Well we are in agreeance with you, Melanie,
So thank you very much.
Speaker 7 (01:27):
For the call.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Thank you, guys, And Melanie is not the only one
get this. According to a new survey, looks like forty
three percent of working women say that the week after.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
The switch is their least productive week.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
That means this week, and thirty one percent admit that
they make more mistakes than ever when a time change occurs.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Hey, if you've got some of those mistakes, we'll take
more of your calls here next.
Speaker 7 (01:50):
Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean. I'm Sunny one six
point five.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
You know, even if you got that extra hour of
sleep last night, those clock changes they don't come without problems,
do they. Sometimes they can really mess up your day.
Sunday Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunday Wind was
six point five. We're hearing your stories. Taylor is up
in Aliante. Can you tell us about a time that
the clock chains has just thrown your day.
Speaker 7 (02:13):
For a loop?
Speaker 5 (02:14):
One time, it was springtime, so you're setting your clocks ahead,
and I had an important job. I was going out
of town on a ship and I had to be
at the port like super early in the morning. So
I was like really on top of things. I set
on my clocks you know, ahead and everything else. So
the next morning I'm getting up, it's like, oh, you know,
(02:35):
I'm chilling out looking at the clocks. Everything's good, running,
you know, way ahead of schedule. It's like, oh, finally,
all of a sudden, it's like getting time to go,
and I look at my watch and I realized that
I had not set my wrist watch ahead, and I'm
an hour late and the court is like an hour
and a half away from me.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
So that was my absolute nightmare.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Like I said, I was like, you know, I'm chilling out.
It's like said, so much time.
Speaker 7 (03:04):
Your ship your ship had literally sailed.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Huh, My ship was sailing.
Speaker 7 (03:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, those ships they don't wait for no one.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
They are on a large schedule.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
So yeah, at that point, did you even rush to
try to get there or would you do?
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (03:21):
I did make it, but I know it was like
I'm frantically calling people as I'm going like ninety miles
an hour, you know, trying to get there.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Well, we're glad you made it, Taylor.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Thank you for that reminder to check the wristwatch when
it comes to daylight savings time coming up.
Speaker 5 (03:35):
Check all your clocks. I left your hile.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
And speaking of checking those clocks. Today at seven forty

Dot com Sney one six point.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Good morning, It's Joanna and Sean. So Brock did something
inside a TJ Max last night that has really thrown
my husband off and I want to tell you about it. Okay,
So we had to do a little bit of a
later run into a TJ Max yesterday to pick up
a birthday present for a friend, and I had Isabella
Andrew head Brock.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Usually Brock just loves TJ. Max running around.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
He's potty trained, by the way, but there's sometimes where
he's having too much fun where he doesn't want to
stop the fun ye to the potty. So I'm shopping
and all of a sudden, I see my husband Andrew
take Brock outside of the store, and I'll tell you what.
He looked different. He looked like like a complete ghost.
His face was white. So I ended up checking out
with Isabella. I get in the car, put the baby in,
(04:43):
and as I'm getting in the passenger seat, I just
look at Andrew.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
And I'm like, what happened in there? Did you have
a breakdown?
Speaker 1 (04:47):
It's assumed, you know, toddler tantrum, right, And my husband
looked at me and he was so upset, and he
goes Joe. He goes Brock pulled down his pants and
started peeing in the middle of the file at TJ.
Max and I go what, I go, so, what did
you do? Did you tell anybody? And he's like, Joanna,
I panicked and I just got out of there, and
(05:08):
I go, wait, So there's like a puddle of me
in TJ Max. If my son did it, I go
so immediately, I said, let me call the store. So
I ended up calling the store telling him about it.
They were very kind. But this was the first time
in three and a half years seeing my husband as
a parent be very upset about this apparenting first because
(05:29):
he wished he would have handled it completely different. Have
you been there, Sean, Is there a situation where you
look at maybe that you can make my husband feel
a little bit better about this morning, because I know
he's waking up still feeling very guilty about how he
handled that entire situation.
Speaker 7 (05:43):
Yeah. So, I mean I left.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I left my daughter in the back seat of the
car once for about ten minutes. Now, thank god, it
was like sixty degrees and beautiful, that showy. But my
father in law is the one that found her, so
not a good look for me. But I'll tell you what,
I checked the back seat every single time now, even
if I don't think I have kids in the car. Yeah,
I'll tell you. I will tell Andrew this. Don't beat
(06:05):
yourself up too much. All you can do is this
happens to everybody always. Something's always going to happen you're
not prepared for. All you can do is not beat
yourself up and then learn from it.
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Right advice.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
I love that advice. I mean I need to remind
him of that this morning. Thank you for that.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
And if someone stepped in something wet and TJMX, Andrew's
very sorry.
Speaker 1 (06:24):

Speaker 2 (07:34):
What's got you smiling?
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Well, maybe smile.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Today was I found a ten dollars bill outside.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Of the Starbucks coffee shop on my treet.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Wow, that's kind of nice.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Can you tell us where the money is falling from
this guy please, so we can go there.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
It didn't fall more actively from the sky.
Speaker 6 (07:50):
It was on the sidewalk, but there was no.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
One around, so I figured, Hey, mine, it's definitely bought
me my grappaccino this morning.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yes it is, Melanie, that money is yours.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Enjoy that fri but she know, And yeah, we'll be
on the lookout for some ten dollars bills today too.
Speaker 7 (08:03):
Sonny one, oh, six point sunny one. It was six
point five. It's Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Now, Joanna, I am kind of an elitist when it
comes to like parking. I am better than at least
ninety percent of the population when it comes to parking
your car.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
I need to understand where this confidence is coming from
this morning.
Speaker 7 (08:22):
Well, i'll tell you.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
And if anyone is better than something than like ninety
percent of other people, call us at seven oh two
seven nine six, one oh six five.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
We have someone new who just started working here.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yeah, and every time I go to my car, they
park next to me and they leave about six inches
of space between my car and there's they drive this
massive suv and they just don't pay attention.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Oh yeah, that's super inconsiderate.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Too, right, I'm just better at parking than everybody.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Why because you leave the right amount of space.
Speaker 7 (08:48):
I just I pay attention.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yes, it's not it's look and it's not just parking
in a spot. It's parallel parking, it's everything. Like I
am just a master at parking my car.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
That's hard to do parallel parking. I'll give you that.
Speaker 7 (08:59):
I'm terrible.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Let's go to Sarah first. Sarah, what are you better
at than ninety percent of people?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Don't don't sound really lame, but I'm very good at
keeping my car clean, like pretty determined to like have
the cleanest car, and it's not you know, it's not
easy because I work full time and I have a
young kid, and but I.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
Do it so to be proud of Why not?
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Absolutely, that's a hard thing to do, for sure. And
let's hear from Katrina who's been on hold? Katrina, what
are you better at?
Speaker 2 (09:28):
The ninety percent of people out there?
Speaker 6 (09:30):
So a lot of people say that they're really good
at making like their fancy lattes at home, and I'm sorry,
but I've had some of them and they're absolutely trash.
But I used to be a Vorisa, so I make excellent,
excellent cappuccinos at home, or like mochas, Like I really
know how to steam the milk.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
And make it awesome. I'm very good at it.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
I want to come get I want to come get
a lot date from you.
Speaker 7 (09:50):
Now.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
I like your confidence too, Joanna, what are you better
at than everybody else?
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I'm actually really good at remembering people's names. Ah, Like,
when I meet somebody face to fa for the first time,
I will always try my hardest to remember people's names.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
I don't think a lot of people do that.
Speaker 7 (10:05):
Not me. I sometimes forget your name oh come on.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Come on, you say it every day.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Hey, Coming up seven four to getting your family into
Disneyland with the name drop.
Speaker 7 (10:14):
Make sure you're signed up and we have your name.
