Speaker 1 (00:00):
Botts was the first thing your body did that made
you feel old. It's sunny mornings at Joanna and Sean
on Sunny Window six point five. I have made no
secret of the fact that I turned forty this year,
and I've been feeling those ailments, I think progressively more
so throughout the year.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Sure.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
So, I took my dad to a basketball game on
Monday night at Team Obile Do Reena to watch my
Florida Gators play, Joanna. I had two drinks at the
game and then met my wife and my mom and
our kids at dinner at Bonefish Grill afterwards.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I had one drink there, Joanna.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
I felt all day yesterday like I was hit by
a truck. Three drinks across five hours, Joanna. My body
can't handle alcohol anymore.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, it used to.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I mean, I will say that the drinks at Tiamobile
Arena are strong.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
They are they are.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
I think it might have been a lack of hydration
as well, because at no point was I drunk at all.
I just had three drinks across five hours, and it
ruined me for an entire day.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, it's like almost you have to drink one bottle
of water for every alcohol drink you have.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yes, says anything happened to you recently where you're like, Man,
I'm not twenty five any day.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I mean, this recent time change hit me very hard.
I don't that's like the most recent thing, because this week,
whole week, I've been so messed up and I don't
remember a daylight savings time where I have felt this
exhausted in this rock right recombination of having a five
month old two. I'm sure it doesn't help, but yeah,
time change makes me feel old.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Dana?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
What about you? What made you feel old? What'd your
body do?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
At thirty two?
Speaker 3 (01:29):
I had to have our right as purgery and nothing
will make you feel more old than.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
That at thirty two? My condolences. That's tough, Dana. All right, Nicole,
what about you? What's made you feel old recently?
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:44):
I think when your back goes out when you try
to just bend over and pick up like a feather
from the crowns or something. I just never had any
problems with my bag Keilly started getting older.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
It's always the bag. The bag goes quick, doesn't it.
And Brionn, what about you? The first thing your body
that made you feel old?
Speaker 6 (02:02):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (02:02):
Gosh, when I woke up and like I literally couldn't
move my neck, I guess like I must have slept
on my neck wrong for the first time. Oh, I
definitely felt.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Like I was getting old.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Well, just having a neck is an occupational hazard once
you get older.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
S long six line.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
He's got the smolder, the swagger and apparently the world's
most photogenic jawline. Have you Evern News, Sean, People Magazine, Crown,
They're sexiest man Alive and it's Jonathan Bailey.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
I'd like to know what goes into having a photogenic jawline.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
That's what I want to know. How do I work
on one of those?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
I mean, just look at the cover of People magazine
and you can see right there what they're talking about
that jaw line. I know that Jonathan Bailey was in
the running, like he was in a conversation before this
was officially announced, and I think with how popular Bridgerton
is and with how popular Wicked is, like it makes
sense for him to receive the.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Title this year. Oh he's in Britain. Yeah, the whole season.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Two was I did not realize that that's who Jonathan
Bailey was. And we've been talking about things that make
us feel old, and I'm like, for the first time ever,
I have no idea who the people's sexiest man alivements,
but I guess I've seen him and I didn't even realize.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
That's what it was.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Lord Anthony Bridgerton in that flex and I mean, he
is so hot in that show.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well, he beat the odds. I mean, we're looking at
we were looking at the Vegas odds last week when
they were talking about the nominees. Pedro Pascal had the
best odds at a thirty eight percent chance of winning.
I was thoroughly behind Jeremy Allen White from the show
The Bear, who also played Bruce Springsteen in that movie
Running for Whatever. He had a fifteen percent chance, and
(03:40):
Jonathan Bailey was He had the third best odds at
an eleven percent chance of winning, and somehow pulled it off.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
There you go, he beat those Vegas odds.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Gotta love that, And gotta love the photo shoot that
he does because people magazine know what they are doing.
They're they're putting him in the ocean. He's soaking wet
on the cover, and then when you open up the
magazine he's playing with an adorable dog. I mean, People
magazine know what women out there want, and it's Jonathan Bailey.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Your listening to Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean. I'm
Sunny one six point five.

Sunny when I was six point five.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Good morning, It's Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
So I look, I firmly used to be in the
camp of like the day after Thanksgiving, right, Like I
used to hold out that long and think this is
when we'll start decorating. I'm gonna tell you, in recent years,
I have just been like, you want to decorate in June?
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Go crazy, doesn't bother me at all. Christmas in June?
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Why not? Right?
Speaker 2 (04:38):

Speaker 6 (04:39):
Right?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I don't know. I don't know why I.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Picked June, but you know you're getting ahead of it
even before the halfway mark.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
For me, I love the day after Halloween.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Now that doesn't mean I'm necessarily putting up decorations then,
but I.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Am starting to shop. I'm starting to plan.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
I'm starting to get out all the tubs, or I
should say making my.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Husband get out all the tubs.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
That's when the planning starts, and then I think it's
appropriate anytime in the month of November.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Well, you are the Christmas Queen and we love it
so much.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
We are the official Christmas music station of Las Vegas,
so it's important that we're having this discussion as well,
and you know, hearing some other opinions as well. Christy,
what do you think what is the appropriate time to
decorate for Christmas?
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Any time after Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I think people going a little bit crazy. But Thanksgiving
does need to have honor and to have its time,
and then we can start decorating for Christmas. Oh that's late, Christy,
It's too late in my opinion. Let's hear from Jane.

Regina, what about you most appropriate time to decorate for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
My family growing up has always done the day after Thanksgiving,
go into of going Black Friday shopping. You would just
decorate for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
That whole day. But now that on my own, I
kind of.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Do it a little bit before Thanksgiving.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
But not too much.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Maybe made November. Mid November.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Okay, sounds like that's that's the popular vote so far.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah, mid November.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
We like that.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
And let's hear from Vance. Let's get another guy's opinion.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
What do you think, Vance, when's it appropriate to.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Decorate for Christmas?
Speaker 5 (06:28):
It's appropriate to decorate for Christmas the.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Week of Thanksgiving? Well, but if you want, I mean,
if you're at a Christmas go nuts. But I do
it the week of Thanksgiving and it's appropriate to me.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Well, you know what, Vance, we are Las Vegas is
official Christmas uth Station. So guess what, man, We're going
nuts over here.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Jarney one six points. It's a brand new day and
a brand new chapter for Las Vegas's Historic West Side,
a community that's been overlooked for generations is now stepping
into this spotlight thanks to the brand new Historic Westside
Education and Training Center, located.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Right in the heart of the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
The state of the art facility is bringing opportunity right
here to Las Vegas, offering hands on training in healthcare, construction,
and technology, all designed to lead straight into high paying careers. Now.
Councilwoman Shanda Summers Armstrong says that this is a promise
finally being kept to a community that's seen far too
many broken ones in the past, and city leaders agree
(07:31):
this new center is leveling the playing field and helping
residents build brighter futures now. The center is part of
the city's one hundred Plan, a vision to invest in
the historic West Side and empower its people. In the
best part, it's just the beginning, because another training center
is already in the works for the East Valley. So
from education to opportunity, it's all happening right here in
(07:53):
Las Vegas, and it's giving people hope, pride, and possibility
back to a community.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
That truly does deserves it.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
And that's your Sunny story of the day, So read
more about it right now at Sunny one of sixty
five dot com and click on Sunday Mornings and a
motivating reminder from our friend Brian this morning, who is
celebrating a big accomplishment.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
So, yeah, this is the first time now that I
am under two hundred pounds. I've been eating right, I've
been going to the gym. I've been staying very disciplined.
I've been working at a lot, working hard, getting up early. Yeah,
about one ninety now I.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
Lost a lot of weight.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
I'm going to try to keep it that way.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Wow, Gret, Brian, that's huge. What's what's your goal? What's
your goal? Weight would be great.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Hey, that's a pretty good goal right there. And Brian,
just a great reminder for everybody out there. It's as
simple as eating right and working out.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Go Brian. Wake up with Sunday Mornings with Joanna and
John on Sonny one oh six point five.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
You know, we've seen a lot of things in that
then calendars, things like chocolate, little toys, maybe even little
liquor bottles.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Right, but never what Dominoes is doing.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
It's Sunny Wine of six point five Sunday Mornings with
Joanna and Sean Domino's. Joanna is releasing an advent calendar
stuffed with get this garlic.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Dip, different flavors, No, it gets it every day.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
It's a new garlic dip and it gives you a
reason to put it on stuff besides pizza, and people
are putting it on everything from I guess like Brussels
sprouts to even candy canes.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
No, it's the same flavored garlic dip every day, yes,
from what I understand, and there's a like a big
giant dip at the end, I guess for I don't know,
do you need it for Christmas dinner?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Do you need a giant garlic sauce for your Christmas dinner?
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I mean I don't, but I mean what a great
gag gift, white, elevant, gift, whatever for somebody who's just
an extreme pizza lover or garlic glover.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah. I like the sauce. I don't know about putting
it on candy canes.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I mean I'm intrigued by the Brussels sprouts aspect of it,
actually because I do like some Brussels. But if you
could have it like an Advent calendar Joanna with anything
in it, what would you when you put it in
advan calendar?
Speaker 2 (10:01):
No one's seen before.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Exactly because there's been a lot like there's Sephora does
a beauty one.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
I think even like Louis Vattan does like a very
big designer.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's like crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
But I have not yet to see a Disney Advent
calendar where it would be like a different set of
like Mickey ears every day, or like a different like
Disney themed ornament for your tree every day. That would
be my dream Advent calendar, Disney, where are you at?
Speaker 2 (10:26):
It would sell out. I want peanut butter. Just give
me like different kinds of different, different flavors. All right, yeay?
I like sandwiches. I'm a sandwich guy. I'm easy to please.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Here you go, chocolate and peanut butter. All the peanut
butter combas I love that.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
How about an Advent calendar full of theme park tickets?
What about that, Joanne? I would love that gift.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
I want it.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Well, we have four tickets for you coming up here
at seven point forty with the name drop. Make sure
we have your name at Sunny wind at six five
