Five Sunny when it was six point five. Holiday hosting
is usually fun and festive until you realize your oven
looks like it survived an explosion right a. You know,
the holidays, I feel like we just came out of nowhere.
And oftentimes you get caught last minute having to do
things before you host, like Thanksgiving dinner, right.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Joanna, my Halloween stuff went up and came down on
the same day, Like I am the king of last
minute over here.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Well, when it comes to holiday hosting, there's nothing like planning.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Ahead right and cleaning ahead.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
So you can at least enjoy the season that you're
in now. According to realsimple dot com, they ask their
experts what we should be getting ahead of before it
gets too stressful and filled with last minute chores, and
they had some pretty good suggestions on this list.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Okay, so you're gonna give you a to do list,
I love it.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Let's all right, so get ahead of this now. Do
a big fridge clean out to make room.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
For all the feasts, A good one. Love that.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Run a self cleaning cycle on your oven first.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
I gotta find where the self cleaning cycle is useless
when it comes to these things.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Clean the toaster obin and the air fryer as well
for last minute side dishes.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Ooh, the air fry like it's a lot of use.
That one means like I need elbow gloves for that.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
And then of course, deep clean your bathrooms because you
don't want to be doing that two days before Thanksgiving, right, No,
definitely not.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I don't like I don't like Kevin to clean the
bathrooms regularly.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Have you have you done anything where you feel like
you're ahead of Thanksgiving already?
Speaker 4 (09:36):
No other than thought about what I want to eat.
That's what I'm thinking about.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
I got my turkey already, you did?
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Oh my gosh, Queen the Queen of Pepper.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Preparation over here, Yes, my turkey is in the freezer.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Forget preparation. Eh, you are preparation.
Speaker 2 (09:51):

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Christmas movie fans, get re. I need to step inside
movie Magic.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Good morning. It's Joanna and Sean. Get this.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
The actual house in Cleveland, Ohio from the movie A
Christmas Story is now open for overnight stays.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I have never in my wife wanted to go to Cleveland, Ohio,
but I guess this is as good a reason as
Edny for anything.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, traveling this time of the year could be tough
with snowstorms and whatnot.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Yeah, for sure, especially in the Midwest.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
But it's so iconic. I think that it's going to
sell out fast.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Now get this.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Sleepover guests will have exclusive access to the house after
museum hours, because I guess it's a museum.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
During the day, they're gonna be able to hang out
in the.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Living room couch with hot coco, look out the window
where Ralphie dreamed of his bb gun, and take photos
inside the iconic Christmas tree.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
But I did not know that during the day.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Anybody can stop on pie and check it out museum style.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
So I'm guessing it's got a whole bunch of like
memorabilia the show and things like that. I'm propositive the
iconic leg lamp must be in there somewhere, or was
that a different house?
Speaker 1 (11:08):
That's the house is fun fact this morning, Shawn's never
watched that movie. The secondly, I shouldn't say fun facts,
sad facts.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Said fact. Somehow I have never seen a Christmas Story.
I'm gonna have to put that on my list of
things to do immediately.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yes, please put that on your twenty twenty five A checklist.
But you can reserve your stay at house from a Christmas.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Story dot com to check it out and see what
the prices are. Maybe book a trip to Cleveland this year.
