Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sell me when I was six point five.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Good morning and happy Monday. It's Joanna and it's Sean.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
What are we at now? Officially two weeks until Halloween?
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Oh my gosh, less than that, I think, right, Oh
my god, less than that.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
But it's coming up, Kouick, and it lands on a Friday,
So I know a lot of people very excited this
year for Halloween and getting all those last minute plans.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
Ready, I'm with our I can't remember who it was.
We had a caller that said Halloween should always be
on the last Friday of the month, always, and I'm
on completely on board with that. Have you managed to
avoid eating any of your candy that you've stockpiled yet,
because it might be expensive to replenish that this year?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Absolutely not. I have failed at that already.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Let's say I've opened the Races, I've opened the Twizzlers,
and then I opened like a Chocolate Variety pack because
I was really craving twigs. So yeah, no, I'm really
bad at this.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
We haven't bought our hand candy yet, Like, we're way
behind the ball on buying candy.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
It's probably a good idea not to have that temptation
in until last minute.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Quite possibly. Yeah. So actually, what's interesting here about candy
situation is that Kroger is offering up some advice on
how to be the best house on the block for
trigger treaters this year spoiler alert, and involves spending more
money at Kroger of course. So look, the suggestions aren't bad,
(01:16):
but it says give good candy stuck up on Reese's Snickers,
Eminem's twigs, the ones that people really love right right due.
If you haven't eaten them yet, come back buy some more.
Not all kids want candy, have bags of chips or
pretzels as an option as well.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
That's expensive too.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I just ordered like many like prinkle PAGs for my
son for school, and I'm like, how much.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Are the prinkles?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:40):
Man?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Can we both agree though, Joanna, that fruit is a
terrible option on high Yeah, who's given fruit?
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I mean I always remember for my childhood it's like
if someone gave you an apple, it's poisonous thrown away.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Well, that's exactly what I'm trying to get out here.
In my in my neighborhood growing up, I have a
memory of going through the treating and somebody had a
bowlful of apples when they came to the door and
handed me one, and I said no, thank you, and
my dad was he was like, no, no, no, he'll
take it. He'll sean that you accept it and you smile,
and you'd be gracious that anyone's giving you anything. Right now.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
I would be like, sorry, Dad, I've watched snow White.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
I know what happens when I bite into that apple
from a stranger.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
It says, keep your decorations fun and not too scary
for little ones. I don't know. I mean, we're we're
not going universal horror on lease levels of decor out
in the neighborhoods. But I think spooky. I think try
to be scary. I like the houses that go all
out and try to spooky when you come up to
the door.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
I don't know how this neighbor of mine gets away
with this. I don't know how HOA has not discovered this,
or maybe they're avoiding it. But this neighbor of mine
and my sub vision leaves out of Michael.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Myers year round.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Ah man, I like that, and.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Like he'll put a Christmas hat on Michael Myers.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Oh so year round? Oh my god, did you catch
that far?
Speaker 2 (02:52):
You're round Michael Myers, and I'm just like, but you're round.
Michael Myers is creepy and scary.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
He is, he very much is. And then finally, the
last thing from Kroger is don't ask what are you
supposed to be to a kid who spent an hour
on their costume and could be an insult or or
you'll sound out of touch. Best to just say that
they look great, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Look great, or you can spin it right like what
character is this? You know?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Like I would be curious. I want to know what
they are?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Right, h exactly? All right, Well, let's hope everyone has
a fantastic Halloween here coming up next Friday. Can't believe we're.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Saying that that countdowns on now.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Today is also day one of the name drop for Disneyland.
TI gets to go check them out during the holidays,
and we do that twice a morning, seven forty and
eight forty. So make sure you're signed up with the
website and listening for your name to get called out.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
You're listening to Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
On Sunny one oh six point five.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I know most of us are in full on Halloween
mode right now. But it looks like the Hallmark Channel
is in Christmas mode because they're countdown to Christmas. Kicked
off last week, and of course these movies are so
beloved because they're sappy, they're predictable, sometimes a little over
the top, but there's Christmas magic involved. Now. I love
the list of titles for some of the new releases
(04:05):
on the Hallmark Channel this year. Those include titles like
Finding Mister Christmas, Yes, Mistletoe Murders, That's a Shocker, a
Christmas Angel Match, Baked with Holiday Love, and Melt my
Heart This Christmas cheesy, but.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
We love them absolutely.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
These are the perfect kind of like background movies that
have on while you're doing anything around the house, folding laundry,
doing some ironing, prepping dinner, because you know they're going
to be just inoffensive and entertaining to have on in
the background.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
But I don't know about Mistletoe Murders though. That one,
now one's throwing me for a loop. It's Hallmark if
it can't be graphic whatsoever. But I wouldn't think so.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Juanna had a brilliant idea here that we would ask
chat gpt to deliver us a cheesy Hallmark movie title
and synopsis based on our own lives. And if I
can do this today, do it in the office, share
it with your friends, tell your family members about it.
This is I think. If I know people have a
(05:06):
lot of beef with AI, this is a great use
of it right here, exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
It's definitely gonna put a smile on your face this morning.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
So I told chat GP a little bit about myself.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Didn't give them too much. I just said, I'm a
mom of two, I'm tired, and I'm broke this holiday season?
What would be my Christmas movie title? And so I've
got to read you some of my favorites from this list.
All right, First off, A very Merry Breakdown. It's so good,
solid tinsel tears and takeout. Wow, that's a good one too,
(05:36):
The twelve Meltdowns of Christmas.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Don't send it. I mean, you should just send these
into Hallmark. They will they will cook up entire movies
based on these alone, I would think, and.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
A few others.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Real Quick Miracle on Unpaid Bill Street that let's see
deck the halls, but maybe hide in the bathroom. And
my personal favorite, All I Want for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Is a nap that's so solid title.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
I mean, they give you like a whole list, but
those were my faves, And so I said that my
fave was the All I Want.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
For Christmas is a Nap.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Great and the.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Little synopsis on that is.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
All I Want for Christmas is a nap starring a
frazzled mom who rediscovers her Christmas spirit between coffee refills
and wrapping present.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
That's a great hook. If I if I was so good,
if I was flipping around on the Hallmark channel and
I saw that synopsis, that'd.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Probably tune into relatable right there.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yep. So I gave it a couple of I gave
chat GBT this info about me that I also have.
You know, two kids gave their ages that I'm a
radio host and that my wife watches a lot of
dogs on Rover okay, and it came back with a
very merry doghouse okay. So Las Vegas morning radio host
Sean is all about spreading holiday cheer on the air,
but at home, it's another story. His wife has taken
(06:48):
on one too many roverbookings, turning their house into a
full blown dog hotel for Christmas. Between juggling show prep,
keeping his kids out of the chew toys and dodging
an avalanche of barking chaos. Shn's losing holiday spirit fast.
But when a surprise holiday snowstorm strands the dog's owners
out of town, Sean and his wife must work together
to save Christmas, both for their furry guests and their
(07:10):
own family. Oh my god, it gave you the It
really did well.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
It gave you a full movie trailer with a little
it's still going.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
With a little hell from the radio audience, the kids,
boundless Christmas spirit, and a pack of dogs who seem
to know more about love than humans do. Se Sean
learns that the best grifts gifts aren't wrapped, they have
wagging tails, because sometimes a road to a merry Christmas
run straight through the doghouse.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Wow, please tell me it's not still going.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
We've already seen the whole.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
I know the pot it gave you like it.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Gave you literally a script guideline right there. I mean, listen,
chat GBT. We don't want them taking away any human jobs,
but it's sure good for a laugh.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Sunny one, six point.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Monday morning on Sunny Window six point five with Joanna
and Sean. You know that means little victories. That's when
we share any anything big or small, some accomplishment that
you had over the weekend you want to share with us.
Seven oh two seven nine six one oh six five.
I think a little victory this morning, just for the
station as a whole, Joanna. Disneyland tickets kicking off this morning.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
That's right with the name drop, So two times each
weekday morning you're gonna have the opportunity to win your
way into the happiest place on Earth yet signed up
at sunny when I was six five dot com and
then set those reminders seven forty and eight forty We're
doing it.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Disneyland tickets their back.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Now before we pick up a call here, do you
have a little victory you want to share, Joanna?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Oh, well, yeah, I guess this is actually a little victory.
So on Friday, my washing machine broke. Oh I thought
it broke, and I thought there was like water filling
up in it, and yeah, it was just I thought
it was going to be a mess. Ends up that
I do not have to replace it. That maintenance is
a maintenance company is coming out and be able to
fix it for.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Seventy five bucks.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Ah, way better than a new washer.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Yeah, because I did not want to add that to Mylissa,
to us to go shopping for that and put that
type of money out right now, right before the holidays.
So seventy five dollars fix.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I will take it and consider that.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
A little victory right there, right not in Q four.
Let's avod avoid that at all cost. Yes, let's go
to Marco here, Marco, good morning man, what is your
little victory today?
Speaker 5 (09:16):
Honestly, I was gonna cut my cable.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I was gonna like cancel my cable. I was a
tide of paying and I called in the cancel.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Because like now they have to call them cancel.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
And they agreed to lower my rate by like a
hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
What one hundred bucks.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, So which is cool because it wasn't even it
wasn't even a money, mean, I just wasn't really using it.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Wow, And now they loaded by one hundred bucks from
now I get to enjoy cable full significantly cheaper.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
But like it's a win.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Win, Yeah, I like, what was your bill before that
they were able to cut it by one hundred dollars.
That's amazing, Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Wow, that's huge I love it.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
That's like a just he was saying, you know, like
he didn't really even watch it, use it, but now
he gets to just have it and enjoy it, and
at a significantly reduced rate.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Like that's huge.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Yeah. I mean I cut cable long ago, and maybe
I would have kept it if I could have saved
a hundred bucks every month.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Honestly, I have not cut it, but yeah, it's very expensive. Bill.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
I can't.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
I can't, for whatever reason, convince my husband to cut
that one.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Oh, believe me, I'm still paying more than I would
for cable with all the streaming services combined. That is
that is for dang sure. Yep. The only little victory
I have right now is that you know, I've been
lying to you for like two weeks about having started
doing any Halloween decorations. We've done nothing, Okay until this weekend.
We finally got some bats up on the wall inside
(10:42):
of the house. I didn't feel the pressure because I
think all my neighbors are slacking too, like everyone's behind
the ball this year. I feel I haven't felt the
pressure to get it done. Yeah, but you know who
put the put the heat on us was our daughter
of course, Hallo.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
I was gonna say, that's the main reason that like
when you are a parent you put up decorations now
is to make the kids happy. So that's that's definitely
a little victory. And we're going to take more calls
this morning seven oh two, seven, nine, six, one six five.
If you have a little victory that you want to share.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Wake up with Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
On Sunny one six point five.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny Window six
point five. So every morning at around this time, we
try to find some positive news in the community to
share it with you. Joanna, what's going on today?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
So late last week, advocates across the state were seen
wearing purple. Now this was to show support for survivors
of domestic violence and raise awareness about the incredible resources
available to help them. It's known as Purple Thursday, and
it's observed nationwide on the third Thursday in the month
of October. But it's of course part of a bigger picture,
(11:48):
which is to end the abuse that some women have
to face in relationships and let them know that there
are resources and support out there who want to help
them get out of terrible situations.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Unfortunately, I think most people know someone who is affected
by this directly or indirectly. And the statistics on this
are staggering. Unfortunately here in Nevada, our state ranks among
the top states for domestic violence according to the Nevada
Coalition to and Domestic Violence, and they report that on average,
(12:23):
people in our state they call domestic Violence hotline seven
times an hour, every day, every hour of the day
last year, which is just infathomable.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
And what really kind of resonated with me in this
story is that it does it takes a lot to
make a phone call. I know, like, right when you
think about it, you're like, oh, make.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
A phone call. Is super easy to pick up the
phone dial.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
No, not, unfortunately when you are in an abusive situation.
And so that's what this is about, is to let
people know that there are twenty four hour emergency shelters,
especially here in our community. All you need to do
is pick up that phone and somebody's going to be
able to help you out twenty four hours a day,
no matter the time, someone is going to be there
to help you out, answer questions, all that good stuff.
(13:06):
We love supporting the Shade Tree here in our community.
They helped serve our community since nineteen eighty nine. They
are doing some big, major renovations just because the need
has increased, but they are making room so they can
take in people twenty four hours, which is incredible.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
One of the things that I just hate thinking about
is when you come to these kinds of statistics, they're
almost always underreported, right because people aren't reporting it themselves right.
Like to your point, it takes a lot to pick
up that phone call, and for everyone who does pick
up the phone or you know, seek help, there's a
lot of people that are still too scared to seek
that help. And what we're hoping that this story will
(13:42):
do this morning is just let at least one more
person know that those resources are there for you.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
And at the Shade Tree, as I mentioned, they're undergoing
renovations right now because currently they're able to support with
seventy five beds, but after this renovation they are going
to be able to expand to help about two hundred
and fifty people at a time, which is a huge jump.
So it just shows that resources are increasing, the help
is out there. So if you know anybody who's in
(14:10):
need or just to spread the word. Help us out
right now at Sunny Window sixty five dot com.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
You click on Sunny Mornings and you can read more there.
Sonny Onettle six point five.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Hey, if you're not driving, take a look at your
phone and then we want to know what fast food
apps do you have on your phone. It's Sunny Window
six point five Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean. Food
and Wine magazine just rated the twelve most popular fast
food chains apps to tell us which ones are the best.
(14:42):
And I only have one and it's not on this list, Well,
which one do you have? I recently caved and I
got the Dutch Brothers, the Dutch Bros.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
App for my phone, so like fast Coffee.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Yeah, because every single time I go they asked me
if I have the app, and I say no, and
I'm like, eventually, I should just get it because it
may be save me some money, because I keep telling myself,
if I don't put it on my phone, I won't
spend so much money on Dutch Bros. But that has
not been the case.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
The only downfall of Dutch Bros Is they don't have food.
That's the only downfall that I Unfortunately, I guess it
is not a proud thing to admit. I have plenty
of fast food apps on my phone. I have got McDonald's, Wendy's,
Duncan Donuts, and I don't know if these count, but
I also have Pizzahut in.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Buffalo Wild Wings.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Certainly those count.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Absolutely, So yeah, I actually have quite a bit. I
would say I use McDonald's and Duncan the most.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Yeah, I mean that sounds about right. So according to
Food and Wine, they looked at royalty points and promos
and things. Popeyes wins for large orders, Starbucks gets points
for real time order tracking, which other apps don't offer,
and then when it comes to saving money, Taco Bell wins.
They have dedicated value menu loaded with items under three
dollars that you can only get on the app.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Apparently interesting. Yeah, and that's why I have the McDonald's.
I get a lot of good deals.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
So let's take a couple of calls here seven oh
two seven nine six one oh six five. I think
we got Era on the phone here this morning. You
wanted Sarah, good morning. Hi.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Tell us what fast food apps do you have on
your phone?
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Okay, I have McDonald's and please do not judge me,
but I have KFC.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
I love their chicken. Why would we judge you? Do
people judge KFC? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
People say it's not as good as it used to be,
but I beg to dick her.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
I think it's even better.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Really, do they still I haven't been there in a
hot minute. Do they still sell the famous bowls there?
I love those back in the day.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
Oh I think they have recently brought those back.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Yeah, Oh my god. It's like it's like it's managed
potatoes and chicken and like everything's stuffed into one bowl.
It's it's absolutely gluttonous, but it's also delicious.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
No, we are not KMC haters here. We are chancy lovers.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Love and the extra crispy chicken, the biscuits, the coal slaw,
like it's.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Where it's at.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Oh my goodness, my stomach is.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Touched in my back. Now, now go, what kind of
a is KFC hooking you up in the app? Too?
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Like?
Speaker 3 (17:03):
What kind of deals do they have in there? Are
there good savings, good specials?
Speaker 5 (17:07):
Oh yes, especially if you have like a large family
like mine.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
They absolutely have great family like meal deals that you
can get here.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Cool exclusive to the app too.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
That's good to know, because, yeah, sometimes you just don't
want to cook when you get home, and that's kind
of a good go to one you can just order
through the app.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Yeah right, I never want to cook, so that's my
go to every day pretty much.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
All right, I gotta download that one now too. Thank
you Sarah for the call this morning.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
This has gotten way too long over here. I'm putting
on waiting taking these phone calls. Thanks so much. Have
a great day, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
This is Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 3 (17:44):

that we give away tickets really, they get any bigger
than the ones we're given out. Starting today, It's Sunny
butto six point five, Las Vegas' best variety the eighties, nineties,
and today Joanna and Sean and the name drop is back.
Speaker 1 (18:00):

seven nine to six, one oh six five. That's our
studio line. Your ten minute starts now, Erberto seven oh
two seven nine six one oh six five. Good luck.
So we were having a little conversation here about the
(18:45):
most popular food apps out there. According to Food and
Wine magazine, Taco Bell took home the award I think
for best app, best food app on your phone. So
let's take a couple more calls here. We got Karen
on theline here. Good morning, Karen. How's it going good?
Speaker 5 (19:00):
How's it going with you?
Speaker 1 (19:01):
We're doing good. Thanks for calling us up.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Tell us what fast food apps do you have on
your phone?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
And why?
Speaker 4 (19:08):
I have Pizza Hut and I have Wendy's too, and
so why is quite comical?
Speaker 5 (19:14):
My Pizza Hut is my favorite in the world, Okay,
and I go there on.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
My anniversary, my birthday, Valentine's Day.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
That's where we got the.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Heart shape Pizza there on a pizza hut for Valentine's Day?
Speaker 1 (19:30):
No, oh no, along, that's your preference. Okay, you're a
pizza hut.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
My preference yea pant personal pants?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. I'm a sucker for the
stuffed crust there too.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Oh yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
That's my second.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
But they have a lot of deals on the app
and they have a loyalty program and if you order
through the app, you get rewards, so it's.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
A win win cool.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
Yeah, and what do you love about the Is the
Wendy's app doing anything for you?
Speaker 5 (20:01):
The Wendy's app has the same thing. It has good
specials and you know you can take advantage of it
if you order through the app and you say time
you know, and you get there.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
It's ready exclusive things you can only.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Get in the app kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Definitely.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
And the pricing, the pricing is better on the really.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Okay, I've got the Wendy's up too, and you're right,
I've gotten a lot of free Chicken nuggies through that before.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
Yeah, they have a month or any purchase. I think
you get four.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Yeah, you gotta have these apps to get the deals
and then once you realize how much.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
You can save, it gets addicting.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Right, right, that's what pays for your new phone because
you're saving money along the way.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Is that the girl math?
Speaker 2 (20:43):
There?
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Is that what they call it?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I think so well.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
The maas is a logical math, so you know it's
one of the thing.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Thank you so much, Karen.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
I have a good one.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Six. Does it matter if the victory is small or big,
It matters that it's just a victory that.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
You want to celebrate. Good morning. It's Joanna and it's Sean.
And we call this little Victories. We do this every Monday.
We take your phone calls at seven oh two seven
nine six, one oh six.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Five, celebrating something little in your life.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
That you are proud of.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
And I think for me, with less than two weeks
to go before Halloween, Joanna, I finally put a couple
of bats on the wall in the living room. We've
been slacking crazy, We've been really slagging on the Halloween
de course.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Listen, I feel like, you know, two weeks to enjoy Halloween.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
That's actually a pretty decent victory, right, I might.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
I might leave it up all the way through Thanksgiving
this point, nothing.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Wrong with that.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I'm celebrating the fact that I don't have to go
out this week and buy a new washing machine because
mine broke recently and it just is going to cost
me a seventy five dollars maintenance call to the house.
So I'll take that over having to drop one hundreds
of dollars on a new washing machine, which I did
not have in the budget.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Right now, all one thousand percent a little victory right there.
Let's find some more little victories to shout about. We'll
go to Dan. Hey, good morning, Dan. What's going on.
What's your little victory this morning? Yeah, my son's been
struggling in school, and you know, he finally got his
first A. A.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
We're bringing his little victory.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Ah. I mean that's a big victory. You got to
throw a parade for him or something like that.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Right, That's great, definitely, all Hey like that. That is
a win for both of you. That is a win
for your for your son and for you as as
a parent. Absolutely well done, hard to do, we made
it happen.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Ah, well, good job, keep it up. Congrats to your
son on his very first A. That's pretty special right there.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Thank you you got it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Very cool.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Yeah, see to me like the first a like that's
a big deal. But you know it's like seems like
it's little, but you got.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
To make a big deal, you know about that for
your kids?
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Well, hey, you know the thing is once you get
the first one, the rest of them start to come right.
So it's about getting that momentum going absolutely cool, awesome,
Thanks a lot, Dan, have a great one, and don't
forget coming up at eight forty we're gonna drop another
name here and get you out the Disneyland resort. The
name drop is back. We're getting you four packs of
tickets and getting you qualified for a grand prize including
(23:20):
Hotel s Day. So that is a major victory for
you on the horizon. Get signed up at Sunnywino six
five dot com. Make sure you are listening at eight forty.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny one o
six point five.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny one to
six point five. I think both of us would agree
here that we all everyone listening as well, have a
lot on our plate lately, and it can be hard
to keep things, keep track of everything, happening.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Right, Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
So we accidentally kind of planned two contests to be
happening at the same time this week, So it's not
going to unfold as nicely as we would maybe prefer.
But it's gonna be clunky. But the bottom line is
that all this week you will have a chance to
win two different prizes right around this time every morning.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yeah, and that's the most important thing, right You're putting
really great prizes.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
And the first one.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
We want to talk about is a one hundred dollars
gift card to good Will. Now we did this last week.
You guess what I was going to be for Halloween
this year. Now you're going to guess what Sean's going
to be for Halloween this year. So every single morning
at this time, you're going to get a clue to.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Guess yep, and then you'll take that. If you have
a guest, you can enter as many times as you
like over on the contest page at Sonnywino six five
dot com. But I too, Joanna, am going to be
a movie character this Halloween for a movie they came
out this year. And that is my first hint to
anyone who wants to throw a guest over at Sunny
one of six five dot com on the contest page. Now,
(24:49):
as we transition oh so smoothly into the next contest,
we have gone on. Talk Back for tickets is back,
and it is for Manheim Steamroller. They're good be at
the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan November fifteenth. That is America's
favorite holiday tradition. And we are giving you four chances
every day to win these tickets by playing talkback for tickets.
(25:10):
So essentially, we give you a keyword and then you
send us a talkback on the iHeart app for your
chance to win.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
That's right, So your keyword right now is holiday. That's holiday.
Take that on over to the iHeartRadio app. Leiave us
a talkback message there with keyword holiday for your chance
to head on out to see Mannheim Steamroller this November.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
See the days like today, Joanna, remind me how much
I despise Excel because you and I work with so
many spreadsheets to keep track of so many different things
happening on this radio station.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
And then it's like, well, how do we make this?
Do we add another column to the spreadsheet? Is that
going to help us keep track of things?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
I truly feel like having way too many prizes to
give away is a good thing, and I'm gonna pat
ourselves on the back right now.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
I think we handle that very well.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Part worst problem is to have I guess than too
many prizes on Sunny Moto six point five Sonny ONEO
six point five
