Speaker 1 (00:00):
What is that secret meal that you make only when
you're by yourself. Good Morning and Sunday Mornings with Joanna
and Sean Rady here on SETDI one is six point five.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're talking about secret.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Meals, maybe something that you you know, love so much,
what other people would find maybe repulsive because we're looking
at this list from BuzzFeed and some of these secret meals,
I don't know, they don't sound good at all to me.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
No, no, no, see this is where you're absolutely wrong.
My favorite thing on this list is this skeetty dog right,
so absolutely not spaghetti on a hot dog with mayo.
I would destroy that thing, especially after a night out.
I would come home and absolutely devour one of those things.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I'm a Mayo with spaghetti is like my biggest nightmare.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Hard pass, hard pass.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
How about sardines?
Speaker 3 (00:46):
No thanks, that's all you had to say with sardine's
miss sardines in mustard sauce on toast.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
How do you feel about that?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Hard pass?
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I don't think anyone's gonna come near you now thinks
after eating something like that, I'm good with that one.
Fried eggs over white rice with soy sauce that sounds
like something we eat in my house like twice a week.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I was gonna say that that sounds fine.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, that's perfectly delicious. Why is that a secret? What
else is on this listening way?
Speaker 1 (01:11):
See peanut butter lettuce and mayo sandwich? Why do people
have to add mayo to everything? Like? Because I could,
you know, eat some weird combos with peanut butter, but
once you add the mayo.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Hard out for me?
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Uh? This one boxed mac and cheese with canned tuna,
frozen peas, and ketchup.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I mean you had me at the you know, box
of mac and cheese with the can tuna that sounds
like like a tuna melt type of concoction there, but
the peas.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
And the ketchup. Why why do we keep adding all
this other weird stuff to it?
Speaker 3 (01:43):
You absolutely lost me at ketchup. That's a devil sauce.
I will put it on nothing. It's unnatural.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I listen.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
I bet if we took a poll this morning, people
love ketchup more than they love mayo as a condiment.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Sean, Sorry, Sun six points.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Gotta tell you about this woman who bought a dozen
billboards looking for love and now looks like she's even
setting a world record for marriage proposals.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Good morning, It's Joanna Adda Sean and we gotta tell
you about our girl Lisa today.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
So she's a California woman who paid for literally a
dozen billboards to advertise her very own website, Marylisa dot com, which,
by the way, we just pulled up. It's a beautiful
website and sunning. So I mean, look, at some point,
you got to take them matters into your own hands, right, Like,
forget the bumbles, the tenders, the hinges of the world.
Just create your own dating site. This is all You're
(02:36):
only gonna find me. You're not swiping on anyone else.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I love this, like good for Lisa because she has
received lots of interest from all over the world.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Though she's very particular.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
She only wants men in San Francisco in between a
certain age range. But she gets straight to the point
on her website. I mean she tells everybody right away
she wants marriage and kids within the next two to
three years with the right man. I mean, she is
wasting no time. She's forty two years old.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
By the way. Also, just to give you a little
background on Lisa.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yes, but the numbers here are just like mind blowing here,
thirty eight hundred applicants, eighty two hundred messages and enough,
as you said, marriage proposals to set againness world record.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
You want to know why I am swiping right on
Lisa because she got some disposable income.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
If she's buying twelve billboards, obviously, like.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
If you're looking for a sugar mama Lisa's I would
go to Lisa immediately.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Absolutely, And we're telling you this is mary lisa dot com website.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
It's absolutely.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
I mean it looks like it's not like she just
slapped this together. She had to hire somebody to put
this gorgeous website together.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
And you know what, it's working good for her.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
I just don't think people these days, especially you know,
someone likely is successful as Lisa has any time to
waste anymore. Right, she's forty two, she's ready to settle down,
find the right person.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Don't waste Lisa's time.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Please.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh, our fingers are crossed for Lisa. And we can't
wait to see what the actual wedding looks like. I
can't wait, right, Sonny one was six point five we
dropped names twice a morning to get your Disneyland tickets
seven forty and eight forty stick around to win with us.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
You're listening to Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on
Sonny one oh six point five.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You know, not every house has to give out candy
on Halloween, and that is totally fine. And Joanna and
I have a list here of some of the best
non candy treats you can give away from your house
this Halloween.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah. I feel like parents are just getting more creative.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I know this year I am actually giving out something
besides candy.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Oh you are, what is that going to be?
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I have little sticker sheets, Halloween sticker sheets, yep, and
you know, kids, I.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Actually bought it for my son's school, but I had
so many leftover. I'm like, you know what, they can
choose between treats or the sticker sheet, whatever they want,
or both too if we don't get a lot of kids.
But yeah, you know, throwing in a little something different,
that's not a bad idea.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Kids do love stickers. Here's here's my rule as we
go through this list. My typical rule for anything, and
this is like even like giveaways, a birthday parties. Just
don't give more junk that's gonna end up in a landfill,
right you five seconds. But some of these things are
not bad, like bubbles. Kids love playing with bubbles. I
think that's a good candy alternative absolutely.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I mean, you know what's really popular these days is
just those like little rubber duckies that are themed for
each holiday. Yeah, and I see on the list that
Halloween rubber duckies is definitely a thing to give out
besides candy.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Probably Abe Baker will probably have some of those down
on the Arts district. They always give out some rubber
duckies will with all of their flights. Yeah, play dough
I think is a good one. I do not like
this glowing the dark bouncing balls. If you give my kids,
I will I will personally fight you at the door
if you give my kid another bouncing ball?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Why what is the PTSD from bouncing ball?
Speaker 3 (05:39):
They just get lost under the couch, yes, under them,
who knows where? You'll find them everywhere in the house.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
This one from our childhood because I remember getting this
in my Halloween bucket. Spider rings, Oh yeah, the spider wrings.
They are a classic and still given out today.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I see the most absurd one that Joanna and I
had a really good laugh about here was something called
a poop sling shot.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, what is this? I can't, I can't.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
It is exactly what it sounds like.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
It is long, brown and rubbery and you can slingshot
it with your thumb across a room. So it doesn't
look super realistic, but it is super funny.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Not bad for a gag gift.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
This is a great list, so, and we know Halloween
is just a day away, so if you need some
last minute suggestions, We're actually gonna put this list up
online at sunny Window six five dot com and click
on Sunday Mornings and you could read all the lists,
all fifty items.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Sunny one of six point.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny Window six
point five every day and around this time, we like
to shine a light on something happening here in our
community that we can all be proud of.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
And Joanna's got our sunny story today. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (06:44):
So?
Speaker 1 (06:44):
A powerful step forward in the fight against domestic and
sexual violence has recently happened. A Safeness, Nevada's largest non
profit dedicated to ending Abuse has unveiled The Nest, which
is a new facility designed to bring hope, heal and help.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Now, this space isn't just you know, brick and mortar.
It's a place for.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Connection where meetings, trainings, and events can occur that will
support survivors and strengthen prevention efforts as well.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
I know something that we like to do here often
is to provide people with resources, solutions, help, right, and
I think that people that are trapped in those kinds
of violent situations oftentimes feel like they don't have a
place to go. And what we're hoping you'll take from
this is knowing that you do have a place to go.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Definitely, and Safe Nest is where you need to go.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Now, what I love about this that every booking of
this conference space gives back with proceeds directly funding Safeness
Life Saving program. So this is just one way that
Safeeness is expanding in our community but also expanding you know,
the reach of compassion and care for those who deserve
it most.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
And if you'd like to learn more about this or
know someone who needs this information, you can of course
find it where we always put the sunny story of
the day Sunny one of six five dot com.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Just click on Sunny Mornings Wake.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Up with Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny
one o six point five.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
We love that Halloween is tomorrow on a Friday. How perfect.
Good Morning's, Joanna and Sean. But the most important thing,
outside of course getting all the Reese's peanut butter cups,
is to stay safe out there tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
So the American Red Cross they do this every year.
They put out kind of a list of tips for
a safe and fun Halloween. We'll go through some of
those with you right now. They include picking a safe
costume and gear, which means bright colors and flame resistant Joanna,
I'm gonna be really honest with you right now. Got
to be super hard to find a flame resistant constant
of like, most of these things are made of polyester.
(08:43):
I mean, you get near an open flame, I'm sorry
you're going up with it.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Yeah, hopefully people are using fake candles in their Jack
o' lanterns and not real candles down stay away from
the flame.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Just in general, right, little ones should always stay with
a parent, of course, or responsible grown up. Make sure
they're not there running around the streets by themselves unsupervised.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Yes, especially when crossing the streets. Right, that's an important reminder.
Just you know, corners are sharp. You never know when
a car's gonna be coming around the corner, so make
sure it should be extra careful around vehicles, even parked
cars as well, because you can make it hard to
see kids.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Right, Only take treats at the door. Never go inside
a stranger's house. I think that goes without saying Halloween
or otherwise. I mean, just don't be going into stranger's house.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Any time of the year, right, you know, I'm gonna tell.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
You this one I think was a little overblown. It says,
you know, no snacking while trick or treating. I am sorry, Joanna,
but I am digging into my kids candy while we
are walking.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Well, listen, that totally goes against what the American Red
Crossing just to do. But I mean, just be putting
it out there rather you be safe than sorry this Halloween. Nonetheless,
this is a good helpful, you know tip advice for
parents and kids tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
No one has ever put a razor blade into an apple, Joanna,
or poisoned a towtsy roll.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I'll take my chances again.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
You're going against the Red Crosses. I'm gonna say mean John.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Stick around seven point forty. We're dropping a name to
get your family into Disneyland. Make sure we have your
name at Sunnywino six five dot com
Speaker 2 (10:09):
