Speaker 2 (00:21):
Hi, I'm Alabama. Thank you for listening to the show
with producer Blake. I drove to work on E.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Well, literally when I left my house and you know,
I live like way out in the country and it
takes like a hot minute to get here, it was like.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Forty eight miles left in your gas tank.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
I was like, oh, can I do it? Can I
be a little risky? Can I make a little side
track to Starbucks? Yep?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
I made it, got my coffee. We're good.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
How many miles do you have, Lyft, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I think the mileage stopped counting. I think it's the
little line, the little line of death for my car
is showing.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
I know that's so bad for my car, but I
needed coffee.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
You've got it?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Is she beyond repair on this.
Speaker 2 (01:02):

get this low. Have you you? You can't tell me
you've never driven on E I never have.

What are you one of those people like as soon
as your car gets to a quarter you gotta fill
it up.

Yeah, roughly, Oh, you are my may mall. You are
my may moll.

a crosswalk.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Why like to just to cross the street?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
That's it?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, why did the man cross the road? A man
in Virginia was arrested because he painted his own crosswalk
on a busy street. He used spray chalk to make
it because he wants the city to put something permanent
there to slow drivers down in the habit so he
just painted his own.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Listened to this.
Speaker 6 (02:13):
After I put the first thin line down, I heard
people in amazement.
Speaker 2 (02:18):

It's three things you need to know with Klira just
launched their summer Bingo series so that families can have
fun doing for your low cost activities without leaving town.
So you get a Bingo card online and it outlines
different things going on this summer. Some of the things
on the card are free outdoor movies at the Klearra
Track and Field Complex, pickleball and more.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
So go download it. I have fine a few living.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
McDonald's is making a huge change to their hours right now.
They said a vast majority of locations in the US
will stay up and now until midnight or later starting
this summer.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Aren't a lot of them twenty four hours?
Speaker 4 (04:14):
No, no, they're not. That's why they're changing it past
midnight or later. Most of the signature menu items are
going to be available for late, but it's up to
each franchise owner to make the decisions on what they will.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Still have late.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
So go lead all the whoppers you want and then
Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
This one's for you.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Producer Blake has a new experience on Fortnite. She has
already been a part of the Fortnite Experience since April,
but now you can jump on stage as she takes
over the Festival Jam stage and dance with Sabrina in
an interactive experience. It kicks off this Friday and goes
until June sixteenth.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
Funny of you to think I don't already know about this.
I'm playing all the time. They already got that in
the update patch.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
I feel like this is going to be a bad
idea because people they added her to the game Fortnite,
people were putting her in thirty positions now dancing with her.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I don't think is.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Y'all leave Sabrina Carpenter alone Fortnighters.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
You can't make me do nothing on my long game,
you weirdos.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
That's three things you need to know more at Thealabama Show.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Dot com, The Alabama Show on demand free on the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Good morning, Amanda, what's your issue for? Ask Alabama?
Speaker 7 (05:26):
Honestly, I think something's going on with my husband and
his coworker.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Oh no, that's why we're here.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
If you ever have an issue and you need advice,
call the show. Eight three three five oh one, Bama
is the number. Why do you think something is going
on with your husband and his coworker?
Speaker 8 (05:41):
Well, we had a small little get together last weekend
with a couple of my husband's coworkers, one of them.
Speaker 7 (05:48):
An attractive girl. She split from her husband, and from
what I've heard she has slept with a couple of
the coworkers.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
In the office.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
Then I know they're married.
Speaker 8 (06:00):
So, I mean, I've been friendly with her every time
she's around until this weekend because it just I was
a little uncomfortable.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
So what happened this weekend?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
What happened when he had to get together at your house?
Speaker 7 (06:12):
So I had been trying.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
To get my seven months old baby to sleep, and
when I finally got him to sleep, I got a drink,
walked out to the front porch, and my husband and
this coworker are just sitting alone on.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
The front porch.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Oh no, And I thought that was change.
Speaker 8 (06:27):
Yeah, So I went to bring up the ring camera
footage and my husband saw what I.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
Was doing and he got really upset.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
And told me that I should just trust him, and
you know, I shouldn't be doing this if I trust him.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
So he caused a fight because you were just going
back to see what happened on your own front point.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Wanted to know.
Speaker 8 (06:45):
Yeah, exactly, So what happened on the brand on the camera?
Speaker 7 (06:49):
He stepped outside the vape. She followed him outside and
said something like, I don't know, it's something small, something
about how she wanted to sit on the front porch
for a few minutes. But before she could say anything else,
he looks.
Speaker 8 (07:00):
At her and and like says like, I don't know
how why the lens reaches or something and points to
the ring camera.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
So he was like telling her, hey, there's a ring
camera on the porch without saying.
Speaker 8 (07:12):
That exactly, and then she's like looking get into the
camera and her whole demeanor changes.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
So I was like, okay, oh.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I don't like something like that.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
If it's it's innocent.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
He said something like that, like am I being crazy
or is something I don't know? It's something going on,
Like I feel like I'm crazy?
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Producer Blake, what do you think?
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Leave him?
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Then herself if I wouldn't have thought anything about it,
if he hadn't have said that one thing on the
ring camera that is weird.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Well, also him starting a fight with you saying why
are you looking at the camera?
Speaker 2 (07:45):
That to Ma screams guilt.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Well that I could get more that I could like
be like, okay, maybe he just wants you to trust him.
But the reason it's a problem is because he said
the ring camera reaches out this far.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
And she looked directly at the camera and she walked
out right after your.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Husband walked out.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Call the show eight three three five oh one, Bema

Speaker 7 (08:29):
And she is not crazy?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
I love you? I mean yeah. Have you ever dealt
with something like this?
Speaker 6 (08:36):
No?
Speaker 7 (08:36):
Because I would probably be in prison, right, Mail?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Too sweet for jail, Valerie.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah, but that brings all kids ugly out of you
when you start missing with my man, Mail.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
I love you, Thank you for calling.
Speaker 7 (08:51):
Y'all, have a good day before.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Hoover was just named the twenty fifth best city in
the United States to live in by the US News
and World Report, which is awesome.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Congratulations Hoover.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
It's based on the city strong quality of life, vibrant community,
and excellent amenities.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
So go Hoover.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Here's a new trend on TikTok that's getting some flack
water based cooking.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
It's literally just making soup. Turn everything into soup and stee.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, you're just boiling.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Yes, And the lady who is going viral for this
said it's making her age backwards. But the problem is
nutritionists are saying boiling is associated with greater nutrient losses
than steaming, so you're actually losing nutrients.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
It's just it's soup. It's just soup. It's not water
based cooking. It's making soup. President Trump, pardon the Christlies.
Let's talk about that. Did you see this?
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Todd and Julie Christly from the reality show Christally Knows Best.
They were convicted of fraud and tax of asion in
twenty twenty two, and each were sentenced to several years
in prison. Ted got twelve and Julie got seven. Yesterday,
in a phone call with their daughter Savannah, President Trump said,
your parents are going to be free and clean, and
I hope that we can do it by tomorrow. They've
(10:52):
been given a pretty harsh treatment based on what I'm hearing.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
So good for them. I love that show. Have you
ever watched Chrystally Knows Best?
Speaker 7 (10:58):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yeah, hilarious.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
I'm kind of glad that they're getting out because I
don't think he belongs in prison.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I don't think he would have lasted twelve years.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
He can do well in there.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
No, that's the things you need to know. More at
the Alabama Show dot com.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
I was like, uh, oh did the plane move when
you turned.
Speaker 3 (12:37):

It was so cool. It was probably one of the
coolest experiences.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I'm surprised he let you steer it.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
I thought it would have been like, you know how
like a parent, like with a toddler, is like.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Okay, you're in control.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
But really there it's just an autopilot. Think you're flying?
Speaker 2 (13:02):
How does this happen? Do you know somebody that owns
a plane?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
H I don't.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
My friend Colby knows somebody, and he said, hey, you
wanna get in a plane.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
I was like, yeah, let's go get in a plane.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
And then the dude was like, hey you want to
fly here my What's awesome is that after producer Blake
got to steer a plane, he still survived.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Does your mom know you did that? I have no
idea she does. Now she's on our TikTok Live. Anyway,
That's what's awesome.

an emergency doctor visit. So I'm sitting in the waiting
room and this old man comes in. Somebody come get
their grandfa, their grandpa because this was hilarious.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
He walks up to the counter and the whole lobby.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
There's like twenty of us sitting in the lobby and
we can hear him because he's speaking very loudly.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
And he comes in and he goes, there's something going on.
There's something going on with me.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
I was at the doctor a week ago and I
waited an hour and I didn't want to wait that long,
so I got up and walked out.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
So I need to see somebody.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
And the lady points to the lobby and she goes, well,
we're busy again today, so what do you want to do.
Do you want to wait or get a call back?
He goes, I ain't staying here and waiting. I just
want to call back.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
But make sure when's he gonna call me. Is he
gonna call me at midnight tonight?
Speaker 4 (14:36):
And say, hey, how you doing, because I'll be asleep.
She goes, no, he goes, I've lost a lot of weight.
She goes, okay. He goes, I'll be very honest with you.
She goes, okay. He goes, I think I've got cancer,
and she goes the lady bless the lady at the
front desk because she handled it so well. She goes,
don't say that, and we all, like, everybody in the
(14:57):
lobby turns and looks at this man at this point,
and he goes, I've lost about one hundred pounds, and
she goes take some of the weight off me, and
he looks at her.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
He goes, no, you look good.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
You used to have triple chins, but now you only
got double.
Speaker 9 (15:13):
And the whole room is dying laughing at that point,
and she's like, okay, what do you want to do?
Do you want to No, I don't want to. Wait,
I'm leaving. Just have them call me.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
And we're like okay, and with the whole room is
dying laughing at this man and he starts walking out
and he goes, I made everybody in here laugh.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
And the one lady.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Looks up at him and she goes, yes, yes, She did,
he goes.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
And I've never been married. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:46):

He thinks he's on his deathbed, but he's still trying
to pick.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Up winning too at the same time walking out in
the doctor's office. I love this man.
