We've got a Utsa basketball game, so we'll interrupt about
thirty minutes of Dan Patrick in a couple of hours
of Colin as Utsa takes on Southwest Christian Tomorrow. Jeff
Taylor Radio Show is tomorrow.

You had me at cutting off Colin Cowherd. I like Colin, don't,
but it's okay.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
I think it's one. I think it's better to have
local radio playing more often anyway.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
And two, I think it's better to have people on
there who don't just say baseless stuff and get promotion
because they're popular, not because they're right.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Wow, you're going all out here on him.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
That's just me, that's just my opinion. You like him.
I like Dan Patrick. I respect the hell of Dan Patrick.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yeah.

I get a lot of show fodder from all of
those shows in the morning, So they usually have something
that I either agree with and say let's do this,
or you got it all wrong and anytime, And that's
what's the good thing about sports talk radio is we
can agree and disagree on stuff anyway. That's what's going

on tomorrow. Back in the studio on Wednesday, we're home
this week with football and next week except there's basketball
games next week on the road too.

Overshown is shown on TV right now getting ready for
tonight's game. Hope he has a good game. Shovene Ravel
is gonna play. Get to see him play for the
first time. Will I think the Cowboys beat the Raiders tonight?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I think they do too. Plus, by the way, doesn't
Overshown look better in the zero than he did thirteen?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah?

Right?

I know some people.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I know some people are very much like Oh, I
don't like the number zero in sports, but sometimes.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Those zero is not a number, it's just a digit.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Well yeah, plus, like for years Jerry Jones said no
one can wear zero gaus Rowdy's number. First off, Rowdy
wears double zero, so that's a completely different number that's
beside the point. And second of all, sometimes it makes
sense because a lot of times people will associate zero
with as agent zero, like I'm the end all, be
all guy, I'm the one, So I appreciate that. For
this game, though, Andy, I think knowledg should the Cowboys win?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
The Raiders are beat up in some key areas that
even though the Cowboys would be weakened them, especially the secondary,
there's no reason why they can't take advantage of it,
especially because the Raiders receiving core right now, they're lean
receivers are guys like Trey Tucker and Jack Besh.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
And Jack Besh I feel like will.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Eventually be a better pro, but he's in the wrong
system right now, with the wrong quarterback, the wrong off
it's a coordinator to really get anything done with that.
And you and I have seen players who have had
their careers stunted until later because they've been in the
wrong system.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
So it was also announced today that chadur is going
to start next week for the Browns. The Bengals get
Jamar Chase suspended for spinning on Jalen Ramsey. Uh, And
that's pretty much it for today.

Did I didn't get to see the Chador game. I
saw like the.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
He didn't look terrible in the high In the highlights
I saw he looked.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
He didn't look terrible.

He looked really bad.

Yeah, but I thought he moved the ball they were
trying to go down and tie the game. And sure
he was probably a little bit of antsy in the
pocket here and there. Also today Virginia Tech hired James
Franklin as it's new coach and and the Penn State
buyout obviously gets renegotiated because whatever he's making at VA Tech,
a Penn State doesn't have to pay. All right, I'll
