Speaker 1 (00:04):
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hope you have a good time with your families tomorrow
and then look forward to football in the afternoon or
maybe around noon when the Lions play. And then of
course there's an NFL game tomorrow night, and then there's
the Yaggies and the Longhorns on Friday, and the Roadrunners
and the Black Knights of Army coming up on Saturday afternoon.
The UTSA women's basketball team came from behind to beat
(00:27):
Grand Canyon today sixty five to sixty four in the
hoop Fest event up in Dallas, so good for them.
Shador Sanders says he's not comfortable. He wants to remain
the quarterback one for the Browns and he's going to work.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
To do all of that.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
And let's see here, that's pretty much that the Angels
are trying to get a buy out with Anthony Rendon
and they still owe him thirty eight million dollars with
a ridiculous deal they signed him to a few years ago,
and Dylan Cease years and two hundred and ten million
with the Jays. I think one of the big games
(01:04):
this weekend in the NFL is going to be the
Colts and the Texans. Texans still trying to battle their
way back. Colts need to win to get back and
solidify their spot atop the AFC South. I just think
the Colts are a better roster. I think Jonathan Taylor
is somebody that is MVP worthy, Although they usually give
it to a quarterback, I think he's really played great
(01:26):
for them this year. They've got pretty much every position
button down a little bit, and now it's time to
see if they can finish off this season and get
not only a division crown, but a chance to win
a playoff game or two. Right now, I think despite
the fact that they lost last week and they shouldn't
have lost to the Chiefs last week, they're still the
(01:48):
best team in the AFC.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
I still can't get over the fact that you put
Belveta in mac and cheese.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I'm sorry, it's a recipe that it's what I just
copied what my grandmother did. She taught me how to cook,
and then I had to figure out how to modify it.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
So I didn't like die of early early death whenever.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
When it comes to the Colts, though, like I do
wonder like with that hot start, like if team's kind
of like I hate to use that sort of figure
that out because I feel like I use that too often.
But teams have found a way too keen on Jonathan
Taylor to at least like slow him down. He still
gets his yardage. But we even saw last week in
the second half against the Chiefs. Once the Chiefs were
able to like open things up against the against the Colts,
even though they gave them a lot of you know
(02:29):
what on the defenside of the ball, they would have
moved the ball down the field with like a lot
more of their quick plays. I don't really think that
you can move the ball deep on this Colts team,
but I think that right now, with the way the
Texans are playing, I actually do give them a good
enough of a shot against them.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, if the game we're in Houston, I give it
more of a shot. I think the Colts are going
to have their fans behind him. I think this will
be a big day for them, and unfortunately it's going
to come at the If it does happen, it comes
at the expense of the of the Texans who are
running out of time as well. They're pretty much Chatta
Mulligan's very similar to the Cowboys and the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
All right, that'll wrap things up.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
I'll see you Saturday morning for the golf show at
eight and football at twelve thirty.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Coming up on.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Saturday afternoon as UTSA takes on Army. They also play
basketball on Sunday afternoon at twelve thirty against South Alabama.
