The state of Michigan has tripled the number of lakes
and rivers where eating fish is considered unsafe due to

day yesterday on x Grand Rapids pools and splash pads
are now open for this season. Most pools are open
through August sixteenth. Splash pads at fifteen parks across the
city are going to run daily from ten am to
nine pm through mid September.

I swear like I'm only partially joking when I throw
out the conspiracy theory that robots are gonna take over,
I'm only like ninety percent of me is joking. And
where these stories there's just a lot of robot stories today.
But there are a lot of robot stories today. Amazon
is testing humanoid robots designed to spring out of electric
delivery vans and bring packages to your doorsteps.

These two legged two armbots are currently training in a
specialized humanoid park.

With a bunch of robots in it right now, throwing
it out there in San Francisco, navigating obstacle courses to
master the art of delivery. The robots are set to
work in tandem with Amazon's fleet of over twenty thousand
Rivian electric trucks, with plans to expand to one hundred
thousand by twenty thirty. That's a big jump. Well, the

goal is to enhance efficiency. Amazon assures that human drivers
will still play a role in the delivery process until
they don't until the robot says, hmm, I don't think so.

Well, they started like testing out the drone deliveries, and
I really thought that was going to become a thing.
Mm hmm, and it, you know, so far, it's really
not for the majority of us regular people.

The biggest challenges are with are more with the complex
scenarios involving pets and children.

So that's the biggest thing that they're like having problems with.
Their issues with right now.

See, sometimes you just can't replace the human on the job.

No you can't. You can't.

It's I'm all for efficiency, and you're right, the package
is getting there correctly then that kind of stuff. But
like if there's just robots roaming down the streets, eventually
they're gonna be.

Like popping out of van. That would be would Yeah,
that would take some time to adjust to that, So

Tiger's lost to the White Sox yesterday, which ends their
run with them. They played the Cubs this weekend, so
