Here are three things you should know today. Southbound one

after a semi truck calling having machinery. Machinery hit the

sent out for November. If you remember last week they
were saying we're gonna send out partials and then they
said no, no, no, Now there's a court order. You
got to send out full benefits for the month of November,

and as of Friday, they had forty eight hours to
do that. Okay, well, now they're saying, no, you need
to take the money back. Some states did it following
the court order, but they had already done it, and
now they're trying to call back the money. Some states
are saying, tough luck, We're not calling back the money.

Tough luck is such as a wild thing.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Snap provides food assistance to more than forty million Americans,
So this back and forth is really really confusing, and
it's leaving a lot of people like are we eating
this month or not? Yeah, it's said more than four
thousand flights were canceled over the weekend and the FAA
ordering airlines to start cutting even more because of air

traffic controller shortages because of this government down. We knew
that this was going to get interesting, but the Transportation
Secretary Sean Duffy is warning this could get worse before
it gets any better, and it'll only start to get
better when this shutdown ends.

And we are like right there, right on the verge
of holiday travel.

Yeah, within the next cup I mean you said it.

I believe that it's still going to affect even after
the government opens back up. But like we're right on
that edge of like, if something bad happens in the
next couple of weeks, travel is going to be almost impossible.

You know, there's no guarantee that your flight specifically is
going to be affected or canceled or delayed or whatever.
But the question is do you risk it or do
you just cancel your flight and plan on driving.

We have a we're leaving Headline Town later this week,
and we had thought about this about a month ago
when this started and just decided then when I'm out, but.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of people are gonna
choose to take the road trip this year. That's three

I went to three different Starbucks this weekend because my
wife is just try to find it. Yeah, my wife's
obsessed with these. Starbucks is apologizing after chaos broke out
at stores nationwide over its new limited edition Barrista Cups,

collectible bear shape tumblers that sparked hours, our long lines,
and even fights among customers.

Videos flooded over social.

Media, showing fans camping outside stores before dawn and scuffling
once doors open. Some customers said Barista's were yelled at
and overwhelmed, while others accused resellers of buying up stock

people being desperate for a little bit of joy.

like an old honey bottle or an old Graham Cracker
tub that looks like a Teddy Bear and just filled
it up with that. Or we had a we have
a cup that's like a c through transparent coffee cup.

Yeah, so I just drew a Teddy Bear on it
and gave it to my wife. I was like, done,
this is how I could get you.
