is that the Cowboys, if they win tonight in Las Vegas,

was so good and their defense was legendarily bad, like
maybe the worst ever. But they've now suddenly offense has
struggled a little bit, which is a little bit worsome, worsome, worrisome.
It's worrisome regular But there are six new bodies coming

that could help the defense, Quentyn Williams, De Marveian Overshown,
Logan Wilson and his wife and their podcast uh Savon Rebel,
the rookie who's finally healthy ready to get back out there,
and both their starting safeties from the start of the year,
Donovan Wilson and Malie Hooker. So you got six new
bodies to maybe help the worst defense that's ever been assembled.

Is what's frustrating. I think the most frustrating thing for
me and moving forward with the Cowboys. You just said
to me is exactly why I feel like it's borderline
impossible to evaluate Eberflus. Oh yeah, yeah, I mean, I like,

You can wipe out the first nine games.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Right, and dude, he is he deserves He deserves some
latitude too, for having the rug yanked out from under him.
Two minutes before the season started, they traded the guy
that the whole defense is based around.

I think we had a good feel that Zimmer was
in zombie mode and just waiting for McCarthy to get fired,
and he thought he'd get that job because he likes
to fish with Jerry. That's to me, that's a different
situation than this.

Yeah, no, I would agree. I can tell you that
our guy John Michoda from The Athletic is already reporting that,
based on his take of walking around the Vegas streets,
that it's going to be a Cowboys home game tonight.

So I don't know if all the new guys will play,
Like Malie Hooker and Donovan Wilson are back at safeties
are back. You have Logan Wilson who you traded for
Quinnin Williams will play, clearly Savon Revel. I think they'll
make come active. I think there's a chance they don't.
Overshown will play. He was talking about. Yeah, the coaches
want to keep him on a pitch count, but you know,
close game, I'm gonna go so like he's he's that dude.

He's like everything you want a guy, like, if it's
go time, he'll play. He's a dog.

And I'm not just saying this because of the Jersey situation.
I think when he's done playing, he'll be rowdy.

flip league. You know, how do you even analyze this
game knowing that the Cowboys have one of the worst
defenses in the history of humanity? I don't know, man, Like, seriously,
it's so weird. It's I hope they win. I look,

I want them to win, but I also want them
to have the number one pick, so it I'll be
happy either way. If they lose, I'll be yes, we're
getting a great pick. If they win, I'll be yes.
