got a habit for my house or gop. That is
how we're starting getting rattic shows that enough multiply like
a rabbit to zone out, crank it up, beat the habit.

(00:38):

Speaker 4 (00:38):
I hang out with her friend Rocket on the radio,
my hole on boy skinning his skin.

A little baby corn Bread Ray gonna be a fun
show today tomorrow. Just advisory for any listener out there

(01:26):
who likes to party with us. We're gonna be broadcasting
live from the Pluckers in Mesquite. Yeah, it's our first
time to ever go there. I've heard amazing things. I
know there's a lot of our listeners out that way.
And you know, we have a lot of listeners out
in rock Wall two and every once in a while
we get out in the eight one, seven and the
turnout spectacular. And I would love to see the same

(01:46):
thing in Mesquite because quite frankly, we don't broadcast from
there very often. Now, I hear what you're saying. I
like what you're putting down, and I'll accept it. So
not only are we coming at you Mesquite, but let's
pull in East Dallas rock Wall. Oh, I'd love to
get Old Kate out there. And four I'd love to
get her out there. I mean, we're going to be
on that east side. Let's do this, man, Kat, have.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
You ever heard that joke?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
I absolutely have a hundred times.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's not a joke, sir. I want Old for Kate
to come on out, revisit and shove some wings in
her Mouth.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Suspicious that you guys didn't mention Garland.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, for Garland, I'm not actually actually, Look, there's a
long standing rivalry between Richardson and Garland. Garland is the
baby brother. I wish they were Richardson more, just like
the distant cousin. That's not sure what the black line is.
That said, Look, there was a period in time where
the city of Garland decided to have urine yellow street lights.

(02:42):
They were urine yellow, So you're driving down the street
and everything's yellow, and I don't think they'll ever be
able to get that stink off of them.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
They did it in honor of Cold Play.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah, they're just doing their own thing, right, they're deciphering themselves.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
But that said that, that little area that new renovated
downtown Garland, right, go, dude, pretty cool. Who supports Rollertown
beer Works, the brewery that Ben and Skinner invested in
more than fortunate Son and East Dallas Hot a good
friend right down the road. Yeah, right, it's a cool area.
It's a cool area. They're on a comeback.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Well, guys, let's not make this about Garland though, Let's
talk about Mosquite.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I want to I want to go back though, to
the premise that Garland's having a comeback, because it says
that would actually indicate that they had a peek at
some point they did. We were born there. It might
have been your birth now. It was when Mookie Blaylock
played high school basketball there.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Don't you remember the history of Garland segment? We weren't
all about it.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
It as bad as dude. It was pretty tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
We could do the history of Mesquite.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Let's do it all? Okay?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Can you pull that together? Is Crandall and Sigaville pretty close?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yes, very She used to when she was in high school.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
She'd drive into Mesquite to pick up boys.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
We would go. We would go to Mesquite to the
AMC to watch movies. Yeah, and townies hang out at
Towny's Small.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Swap, sweaty Palm.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I do want my daughter to be just like Christina,
But I don't want her to go hang out at Mal's,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Because malls don't exist anymore.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, because it's just they're empty, and I don't want
her to be in an empty building by yourself.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Obviously, one of the big storylines is still the after
effects the impact of the Mavericks parting ways with Nico
and I saw this. You know, I every once in
a while because I don't write for any publication, and
I do like to write, I'll write a mammoth post,
super long post. I'll get a lot of TLDR picture
of the giant phone, you know, and reading is hard,

(04:36):
I get it. But the thing I hate about writing
I do like to write, but the thing i'm also
you know, it drives me nuts if I have a typo,
a misspelling or something that's not accurate, and so you
really need an editor to do such a thing.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
But this is just social media.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
So I spent all day yesterday off and on working
on this long post on Twitter that I ended up
having to elite. I don't know why, because I couldn't edit
it anymore. I was able to edit it on Facebook.
Oh once it got.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Wait, didn't you pay to edit it Facebook?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
So in my whole dietribe, as I was talking about
should the Mavericks go for it now in the wind
now window with their guys that'll be thirty three, thirty
four and thirty six and you know, early next year,
or should they just rebuild around Cooper flag. I went,
you know, the more detail you get into, the more
potential troubler. Yeah, it's tough, and so especially if you

(05:33):
start getting into salary cabs and things like that. So, man,
the thing that took me the longest to write this
article was looking up every player in their age, and
so I looked up I was I was using AI
to do some of it, and it wasn't accurate.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I'm like, damn it. Because AI goes to chat.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Room, it goes all right, right, well, this guy right
here said eighty was forty, So let.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Me factor that in. And then I was like, you know,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
I don't follow the NBA like Skin does or like
a hardcore I'm a MAVs fan. And so I'm like,
all right, who are the three best players in every
team or who? And I start going through all this
like putting it together, and I saw one comment that
made me delete it because I couldn't go back and
change the comments goes. I stopped reading the moment I

(06:21):
saw you mentioned Michael Porter Junior being on the Nuggets.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Oh my god, it was a long post. I didn't see.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I stopped reading the second I saw four sentences and
the word More and okay, wait, so if I hit
that button, what's going to happen? I don't want to
see what's on the other side of More.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
The game I play is count. The TLDR comments.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, it's so good. Okay, what is that Texas license?
Too long? Didn't read? Yep, okay, too long, didn't read.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
But I was back at it again today with the
White Vans and wrote a very long one again because
somebody asked me, what is your confidence meter in Luca
coming back to the map, And.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I'm shocked that this is happening.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I'm shocked that and Luca's getting asked about it at
a Lakers press conference, you know, like, what do you
think about na? It's like, dude, this ship has sailed.
It's never happening. Why are people asking this question? I
feel like Kim and I feel like Kim and Dumont
can really patch this thing up, right Dumont's quote Just
go look up Dumont's quote after it, But he talked

(07:26):
about how hard shock worked.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
If they name.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
If they name the new casino Doncicic Towers, I think
we have a chance.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Wells see, now though that Luca has been in LA
He's got the mamba mentality, so maybe now is the time.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Yeap dude, he is ripped.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
So so anyways, go read that super long post and
don't put TLDR. All right, coming up next, Skin, where
are you gonna take us in things? Skin is tracking
all right. I've got big news about my relocation. I'm
moving to Fort Worth with a big time celebrity and
I'll tell you about it next

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
