Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Brian Munt Show, and thank you for listening.
It's time for today's Top three takeaways. Helpful, useful, repeatable.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
And history playing out this morning as all of the
living hostages held by Hamas have been released to Israel.
Israel has begun the exchange of prisoners of war held
by them, Gazin's being released. In real time. You have
President Trump in the Kanessean. He is yet to speak,

(00:36):
as the Kaness is going through some official business, official announcements.
But you do have an absolute celebration throughout the Middle East.
You have a celebration taking place in Gaza. You have
an electric Israel in Tel Aviv, people out in the
streets channing Trump, channing peace.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
We have never seen anything quite like this.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Peace in the Middle East has been something that has
been historic, elusive, and but you know, you can get
biblical and go eventually we know how this story ends.
But for now and for the foreseeable, we have something
that is truly historic, which is a path forward. And
I'm going to walk you through the different parts of

(01:19):
this plan once again. As we are now seeing the
twenty point piece plan, various phases of it implemented, again,
as President Trump is getting ready to address the Israeli
Parliament and as he was boarding Air Force one to
head to Israel, he had this to say about the
war itself.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
The wars over.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
The war is over. Okay. Do you understand that?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
It's a very clear thing. No war done, gone over.
And so.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
We had to get to this point where the prisoners
were going to be freed. That was the real key,
because up until that point Hamas still had some leverage.
Now that Hamas has released the prisoners, we know this
thing is truly over. And on that note, as we

(02:13):
are taking a look at the historic day in front
of us, on this Columbus Day.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
The twenty point Plan.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I've walked you through this a couple of times in
recent weeks as it was coming together and as I
was able to get a hold of it and share
it with you.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
One of the very first.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Things deradicalizing Gaza, and that meant making it safe for
the re entrance of Gazin's that have been out of
that territory for the better part of two years. Following
October seventh, twenty twenty three, the next phase of the
Peace Plan Gaza to be redeveloped that will obviously come

(02:57):
in time, but some of the initial dealings just to
try to make things stable for the people that are relocating,
have begun over the weekend. Israel and Hamas immediately in
the war we are there. This was the key piece
that within the past couple of hours has come together.

(03:17):
All hostages kept by Hamas must be returned, and we
know all living hostages have We're not entirely sure about
the status of the additional twenty eight that were deceased,
but we know that the next piece of this, which
is once hostages are obtained by Israel, they will release
over one thousand Godsens held as prisoners of war. We've

(03:38):
heard that the first prisoner release has begun. By the way,
you have the Red Cross that is in there, that
is acting as an intermediary between the two parties. So
what's been happening is the Red Cross will go in
get hostages from Hamas, get them over to Israel, and
now the Gosens released from Israel getting them over to Hamas,

(04:00):
having a one on one kind of exchange here between
Hamas and Israeli officials. The next piece of this is
that the remaining members of Hamas granted amnesty. That was
something that was controversial at the time, but obviously Hamas
wasn't going to agree to anything that they weren't granted amnesty.
Seven Aid surging into Gaza. You've already seen some aid

(04:24):
begin pretty much right away over the weekend, but now
you have a lot that is getting ready to move
in today. And the aid the eighth piece part of
this peace plan aid to be distributed by the UN.
The ninth piece of this Gaza to be governed by
a transitional government of Palestinian technocrats under supervision by the US,

(04:48):
Arab and euro partners. Now this a very fluid kind
of situation. What does it mean to have Palestinian technocrats
who ultimately is this going to be the partner piece
is something that President Trump has spoken to including today.
In fact, his next trip after this speech before the
Connesta is going to be in Egypt with coalition partners.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
We're going to Egypt after Israel, and we're going to
meet all of the leaders of the very powerful and
big countries, in very rich countries and others. And they're
all into this deal.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Everybody's into They're into it. They like it.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I think it's fairly attractive. They're going to keep it in.
So that is the next leg of this journey. Because
again all this coming together Trump orchestrated it. But it's
important to have everybody on the same page because ultimately
to keep Hamas in a reasonable place, to keep relative

(05:50):
peace there. The Arab influence is a huge, huge part
of this. Ten an economic plan aimed as to build
for Gozins is to be adopted. Then an economic zone
with reduced tariffs to be offered to the transitional government.
Of course, all of this is still to come. One
of the things that is notable in this Gozen property

(06:13):
owners allowed to retain their properties. No one will be
forced to leave during the redevelopment. So all property that
was owned by people in Gaza prior to October seven,
twenty twenty three is their property once again. All remaining
Hamas infrastructure in weaponry is to be destroyed. A security

(06:35):
guarantee to be provided to the people of Israel that
Gozins will pose no threat the US, Arab and European
partners providing a stabilization force. They will develop and train
a police force and retain a presence as an internal
security body. The first piece of this we already began

(06:55):
to see on Friday, when you had two hundred members
of the US military that went into Israel and that
are standing by to begin to provide that level of service.
Once you have some stability in place for the training
of these security forces, that'll be an interesting thing to watch.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Again.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
You imagine that you're going to have some of the
Arab partners that take the upper hand on that with
the US troops that are maintaining that presence in Israel.
We've been told that it's unlikely you would have US
boots on the ground in Gaza, even in a peaceful situation.
We shall see something that was hugely important in all
this previous boundaries to October seven, twenty twenty three apply,

(07:40):
so Israel seating all occupied palestinting and territory currently under
its command. That is something that has been done everywhere
except for just on the periphery to ensure that there's
still security. There are no active military operations that have
gone on since the first phase of this peace deal
took place.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Number seventeen.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Israel will not carry out any future strikes in Qatar
or Hutter If you prefer Number eighteen. Inner Faith Dialogue
and education will be mandatory with the gods and citizenry
aimed at deradicalizing the population. That's a very big part
of what will happen here going forward, because you've had generations.
When you take a look at seventy four percent according

(08:24):
to the Pew Resource that er seventy four percent of
the Palastinian population was supportive of the October seven attacks.
That's one of the real uncomfortable truths, like these are
people that from birth basically have been radicalized, taught that
Jews are evil, they're the devil, you should kill them,
and Israel is illegitimate, and that's really Palestinian territory. They're

(08:48):
the ones that elected amas as, they're governing body, a
terrorist organization.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
So there's a lot of work to do here.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I mean, that's a really difficult thing to try to overcome,
and it's going to be a long term process. It's
not like you can just snap fingers, you know. I
think this is one of the big lessons learned coming
out of like a rock for example, right, remember when
and we ended up going in knocking out Saddam Hussein
did an incredible job, and then the people didn't want
freedom it's because culturally things are just so much different.

(09:17):
These people aren't just going to flip the switch and go, okay,
we're good with Jews in Israel now.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
So it's going to be a lot of work. Number nineteen.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
If all previous steps are completed, a path towards Palasinian
statehood may be recognized.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
This a very big piece.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
It's the first time the United States has suggested that
Palacinian statehood could be on the table. Of course, Israel
has tried this on multiple occasions, including through the Oslo
Accord in nineteen ninety three, when you had the Israeli
government that agreed to recognize the Palestinian state. But as
soon as that happened, the PLO which was in charge

(09:54):
at the time, ended up attacking Israel and Jews. They
took advantage of the situation, and that is the reason
it didn't up falling through. Expectations are at this time
may be different. And the twentieth point of the plant
the United States to act as a permanent arbiter and
facilitator of constructive dialogue between Israel and Palestinians. So that

(10:15):
all part of what's going on right here. And again,
President Trump in the Kanessa. The Canessa is still going
through formal business right now, he has yet to begin speaking.
And just the electric atmosphere all throughout Tel Aviv, all
throughout Israel, Gaza.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
On that note, everybody is happy, whether it's Jewish, Ormuslim
or the Arab of the countries. Every country is dancing
in the streets. And it's a point in time. I
don't think you'd ever see it again.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Sure enough, and we'll keep you posted the week ahead.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Monday, President Trump arrives in Israel, where he is said
to give a speech at the Israeli Parliament. It's also
Columbus Day, which celebrates the universary of Christopher Columbus's arrival
in the Americas and celebrated by Italian Americans to honor
their contributions to the US, and Indigenous People's Day, honoring
Native American tribes and communities by commemorating their history and culture. Tuesday,

(11:10):
the Senate tries again and the government shut down.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
This will be the eighth time the legislative body votes.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Wednesday, Medicare open enrollment begins until December seventh. Beneficiaries can
switch ad or drop plans. Also, Wednesday is the final
deadline to file taxes for twenty twenty four. This only
applies to people who are granted a filing extension. Thursday,
International Shakeout Day. At ten sixteen am local time, millions
of people around the world will participate in earthquake drills.

(11:38):
The exercise is designed to remind people about what to
do during a tremor. And that's a look at your
week ahead on Tom Graham, Fox News.
