Speaker 1 (00:00):
I think it's five or four good morning on this Monday,
as we ready for Thanksgiving week, and hope you had
a nice weekend. As we do roll towards the holiday season,
and as has long been tradition, the last show before
Thanksgiving for me, and this happens to be in I'll
(00:20):
be out of the remainder of the week, though Joel
will be here along with a lot of my content,
keeping up to date on everything. Bring you what once
we're known as my Islam's consulting, got involved and they
became my eight keys for success, whatever you want to
call them. The eight different sayings that I put together
that kind of are the construct of what I do
(00:42):
and operate from in terms of financial considerations and evaluation
of people in life, I guess you might say. And
the first one, it must start with the premise. So
this is about the premise, which also is the origin.
And I'm by saying there are two sides to stories
and one side of facts. So let's get to it
(01:05):
the premise, obviously, to where it all starts. We understand.
I think the basic definition of premise, the textbook definition
is this, it's a verb, a base argument, theory, or
undertaking on. Okay, So it's like this. If the premise
of anything is false, anything built on it will fail too.
You take a house, for example. You could have the
(01:26):
most amazing home equitch with everything you'd always dreamed of.
But if the foundation of that home is flawed, doesn't
really matter, does it. It's not a viable structure. Now,
it's imperative to establish facts and only embrace the truth
for the basis of whatever you're considering. Never accept a
false premise. If you accept a false premise, anything built
(01:48):
on that false premise is likely to be false as well.
Here's another example for you on the most important question
of all, what's the meaning of life? You know, we
all operate on faith in our beliefs. The question is
what we choose to believe. Yes, even atheists have faith. They,
for example, most commonly suggests we're all products of evolution,
(02:11):
independent of intelligent design, and the leading theory of the
origin of life on our planet among these individuals is
that there was a big bang which created molecules on
this planet, which all current life evoled from. Here's what
they can never establish a premise, even if we embraced
all aspects of that explanation and any related secular theories.
(02:34):
They could never explain what created the planets the banged
into each other, which created the life that we all
evolved from, independent of something existing that's greater than all
of us. It would simply have you believe that something.
In the case of our world, everything came from nothing.
(02:56):
And as a matter of fact, any secular origin explanation
isn't plot or possible without their being proof of a
higher power. There must be something larger than science than
the explainable. That's illustrative of the importance of establishing the premise.
(03:20):
It's also the way that I most commonly will evidence God.
As always, there remain two sides of stories, one side
of facts, and we will be right back with my
first roll of money, which this is the most commonly
side of this side of there being two sides of
his stories, one side of facts. So I expect expect
(03:43):
a lot of folks know this one already, But we'll
get down to my first roll of money next
